401  Other / Meta / Re: Eli5 sub under beginners and help on: December 21, 2023, 12:15:29 PM
Eli5 sub on Reddit explains complicated things minus the complications, handy for beginners. Why not bitcointalk have same sub for crypto stuff?

Just a random idea, put forth your opinion.

User can add [ELI5] tag on the title for the thread they are creating either info or question thread. I saw many post on reddit that you usually just add ELI5 on their title to inform all the user that will read the topic that the discussion should be on ELI5.

But most answer and question on the B&H is already on ELI5 form except for those users that typically answering in complete technical perspective because they assume the OP has basic knowledge on Bitcoin in general.
402  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ DuckDice.io 🎲 Rakeback 🎲 Races 🎲 Faucet 🎲 Deposit Bonus 🎲 Jackpot 🎲 on: December 20, 2023, 05:49:53 PM
Please help me. I have tried to re-verify the link 5 times already. But they don't accept documents from me. Although initially the 1st and 2nd levels (document and selfie) were accepted from me without any problems.

My nickname on duckdice Uwetevisy272

https://prnt.sc/01WbSGhKjkEW - a screenshot of what my documents initially accepted
https://prnt.sc/edJ_zwjKlTnr - a screenshot of the fact that documents are not being accepted now

Please help me, I am ready to provide any documents privately to the support duckdice

AFAIK, their KYC procedure was your level 1 and level 2 KYC should match the level 3 KYC or else everything will be declined. If level 1 and level 2 was initially approved then your problem is the requirements for level 3 that cause a decline to all your KYC submission.

I’m not sure what documents you are submitting to them but do you try already to ask for the support to know what’s the reason behind your document disapproval? @Kirito will surely help you to solve your issue once he come back online again here.
403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local Base Or International Based Online Casino on: December 20, 2023, 05:19:23 PM
Dude, fruit games been a staple of illegal gambling in the country for a really long time, it's as popular as the arcade horse racing and has been the subjects of many police raids because they're illegal. That game's not going to last long because either the authorities are gathering more evidences or the protector of this operation isn't going to be happy with just a small paycheck monthly. When it comes to this kind of stuff, I'd just go for international based because it's likely to be a problem for authorities and the games there are more fun compared to this games which I've played already when I was younger.

The game itself is not illegal but rather operating without a license is what makes it illegal. To be clear, any games is illegal once you offer it to the public without any license to operate.

On this case, the game will have a license before they will offer to the public. Atong Ang is one of the richest person in the Philippines the dominates e-gaming industry. He is the father of gambling here which means he will acquire license before he introduces the game to the public just like his e-sabong that later got licensed cancelled due to the majority request from affected users family. This game will be a major success in Philippines because there’s a lot of streamers here that can promote it and the game itself is already popular even before this game introduction on the article.
404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your view on this? Is it fun or addiction? on: December 20, 2023, 05:12:42 PM

Do you see this as addiction or just catching of fun?

Mind you, we just enjoy the moment and might just joke around with people making predictions based on the teams,  they love but we are mostly gamblers at our different ends.

The quote you provided is surely just a gambling joke for entertainment. We usually have this kind of joke in our social media before when online sabong becomes popular here. There’s nothing wrong with it if you knew that this is just a gambling joke stating the obvious don’t on gambling.

Taking it seriously while all of you is gambler defeats its purpose because the author knew that everyone will understand the message behind the joke which is the irony of its meaning and not the literal statement.

407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anything to worry about if you use mixers and not doing anything illegal? on: December 20, 2023, 12:39:46 PM
Familiarize your local laws and your rights, do your own research when it comes to legal advice.
I doubt very much your average lawyer will even know what a mixer is.

Your biggest concern on mixer that has a transaction to money launderer is you receiving Bitcoins from them especially when the mixer that use was seize by the government because your Bitcoin address will be on the watch list which you will have a problem if you send your coins on CEX.

But if you are from a country like 3rd world country that doesn’t give much attention to crypto then you are just fine since your government is the only one who can knock on your down and not US government that typically aggressive on this matter.
408  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: December 17, 2023, 06:20:34 PM
You at least understand what I mean.
Bonuses are just sweeteners to entice people to play by signing up. Big players who have been gambling for a long time don't really care about bonuses, they only care about the convenience of the casino and have no problem with the withdrawal process and whatever their winnings are paid by the casino.
That's why many players choose proven casinos and don't play at new casinos created in a hurry.

Smart whale gamblers usually aim for higher bonuses such as rakeback and tournament reward that’s make them in profit compared when relying only on the casino which we all know that the house always win.

Whale gamblers are now gambling smart which is why casino use the loyalty program to lure whale players because they knew that many of them consider it on choosing casino. I knew that most of the bonuses is just too hard to claim but it’s easy for those who gamble big naturally such as whales.
409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm after a gambling site for ufc betting that accepts bitcoin on: December 17, 2023, 05:23:40 PM
Do they block if you win too much?

This inquiry is debatable since most of the casino has the right to block you due to their own discretion without giving further explanation. Casino will most likely give you restrictions such as betting limits to account banned if you are winning too much since you are unprofitable.

The bookmaker provider is the one that usually restricts user on betting and not the casino itself if the concern is just winning too frequently.
410  Economy / Economics / Re: Food for thought on: December 17, 2023, 05:01:43 PM
For those working for government or an entity, try  to  start a small business and grow it gradually while still doing your 9am- 5pm job.

If you are working 8hrs a day then how exactly you will manage your business at the same time? This will not gonna work unless you have a partner who will handle the business management for you.

I get the point because I plan to do this after saving enough money from my current job but I will not do business while I’m still working because that will be a waste of investment. You should commit yourself on business if you want to become successful because there’s now way to grow it without your actual input on managing it.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? on: December 17, 2023, 04:52:08 PM
Gambling is not a problem, but an opportunity for making money and having a great time. Gambling becomes a problem only if it leads to serious addiction and large losses of money. If everything goes in a reasonable direction, gambling can not be a problem

Gambling is indeed not a problem itself but the thread focuses on the problem which you can get when playing gambling which commonly referred as lgambling problem” here in the gambling discussion board.

I rarely have gambling problem because I only play money that I can afford to lose. By doing this, You can save yourself from a lot of regrets and chasing losses since you don’t consider your money loss as too important to think about it after the game.
412  Economy / Economics / Re: Pay discrimination on: December 16, 2023, 06:58:08 PM
Some will say that an white collar employee is more mentally drained out hence they deserve better pay but people who do menial job stop working the world will just rot as everything cannot be done but robots and AI.

It's sometimes sad to see how they are treated disrespectfully, be it a waiter, delivery workers, cab drivers, carpenter, or construction workers as they are the pillars and without them things will start falling apart. I know some of these can be automated but not everything.

It’s not about how tiring the work is but rather the importance of the work is the one being paid. Surely hard labor jobs is very hard physically but there’s a lot of people can replace on this job compared to a white collar job such as pilot and other important job that is not easy to be replaced by normal people.

But there’s some exception to this when it already involves skills since some hard laborer manage to climb their rank through promotion using their skills. Promotion is the only way to get out on the low salary grade.
413  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Know when to stop on: December 16, 2023, 06:07:44 PM
stop when you have a big loss

I think you should stop when you are experiencing consistent loss but not the point that it’s already big because you should immediately evaluate your trading strategy if you are losing frequently before you can lose huge part of your capital.

I lose many times on trading when I’m newbie but it happened on different time span and I learned a lot of lesson for every losses that’s why I manage to come back in profit now that I can think straight on trading. You don’t need to wait for your losses to become big before you stop, you should stop immediately if you are experiencing losses on your current strategy so that you can improve it first before you come back trading again.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prove me wrong: Gambling is both more relaxing and entertaining than trading! on: December 16, 2023, 06:01:13 PM
When it comes to entertainment its true that Gambling can be more relaxing than to trading.
Just imagine the Retired people, are they still spend their time in trading? Of course not and that’s why they gamble in casinos and they are enjoying it. Though of course this also applies to everyone, gambling can be more fun than trading, and in gambling you don’t need to analyze here not unless you do sports betting.

Yeah, Nobody wants to look on the chart 24/7 that is just full of line and bars without any thing happening. The only time trading becomes intense like gambling is when you open a leverage trading position while the current market price is hovering near your liquidation price.

Only hardcore traders find trading entertaining but the majority still preferred gambling because it’s mechanics is very straightforward and easy to play while you can have potential just like on trading.
415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I ask for refund if casino game has bugs? on: December 15, 2023, 08:33:18 PM
I have never seen a case when casino called player for a refund because slot had bugs. What happens if you think that slot has bugs and that's why you lose? If we follow logic, since casino can deny your winning because they think that game has bugs, you should have right to ask for slots inspect if you lose a lot. Doesn't this make sense? I think it makes but I want to know if you had similar experience or if something similar has happened in history ever.

You can report it to the support and get a refund if there’s really a bug on the game. You can even file for a bug bounty program if the casino has to gain more reward aside from the refund.

But there’s a catch, casino typically don’t acknowledge bug on their games because it’s very easy to fend off users by claiming there’s no bug on their system because no one will believe this single user complaining if the rest of the players doesn’t encounter the same bug.  Wink
416  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino vs. Stoc,Forex&Crypto Broker: Who's Really Playing You in the Money Game on: December 15, 2023, 08:26:34 PM
let us put it this way, in every business, they have their own risks that they are battling with. we can't say there's none because if that's the case, then there's a particular business that everyone would go to because there's no risk involved.

You are pertaining to user risk on using the business platform and not the business risk itself because the user quoted example is a risk by user when use the platform. Exchange has less risk for their business because they are just facilitating the trading platform and gains fees on all transactions happening inside while Casino is literally battling against players money in able to profit using games with their advantage.

Business have different purposes that’s why the risk involved varies because exchange is designed for financial tool purposes while casino is for entertainment purposes only.
417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers trickily claims they wins the bet while they never did. on: December 15, 2023, 07:59:42 PM
Don't be deceived, not every gamblers who actually claims that they won really won.
Some falsefully speculates that they won just because they want to pave an ease to those who has been advising them to quit or limits gambling simply because the gambler has been unlucky to win instead he keep betting over and over without a good bankroll management in their gambling carriers.
They basically do this because they feels disturbed and inconveniences of the people's opinions and advices towards the gamblers unprofitable gambling experiences

I don’t see any gains by falsely claiming they won if they really don’t won just to stop discouraging comment about his gambling because either way people will keep making those comment because gambling is known for being a high risk activity.

It’s better to become a silent gambler rather than posting false win if the intention is just to stop criticism to what you are doing. Because no one will gonna give a damn about what you are doing if you are not entertaining any of them or share what you’re doing in the public.
418  Other / Archival / Re: New strategy for casinos! on: December 15, 2023, 07:27:43 PM
So after mixers got banned, there will be a need to fill their empty space, soon we shall see new casinos coming in to play to compete with current services, so I'd like to suggest to the currently active casinos to start hiring the best quality posters with competitive payments to win in the race of the best, just like bitmixer and chipmonkey plus other mixers did in the past to stay relevant.
Mixers website will still exist and just their ANN thread here will be removed which means their service existence is still there for their customer that need to mix their coin. Casino business is still very popular even before. Mixer just get the popularity recently due to the take down of Chipmixer since they want to share for the customers of CM but casino business is still the same strong as you can see on the number of active campaigns here that run long term.

I think this topic is more on service discussion thread since we are talking about campaign here and not casino itself.
419  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you still use Banks ? on: December 15, 2023, 07:05:21 PM
We have cryptocurrency you still use Banks ?

Do you still use Banks ? Im using only cryptocurrency debit cards and they always work better than bank.
So Im still surprised If anyone still use Banks they are old
In my understanding, there is no need to be surprised that as long as crypto payments are not legalized by a country, so long as people still use banks and I am here to this day still using banks.
People are well aware that the bank system is too complicated and often not what we want even though the money stored in the bank is ours.
If I want to make a transaction without using a bank to another country, I can do it using crypto without needing to announce to the relevant parties that I am doing it.

Aside from this, the OP probably didn’t notice that bank is still involved even on crypto debit card that he is using since this payment processor is partnered with bank just to make the crypto debit cards to withdraw crypto to fiat.

Using bank is inevitable because crypto is not a legal tender globally. Maybe we can’t use bank for storing most of our funds because we can’t flush out of the system the use of banking system when fiat is still involves to spend our crypto.
