405  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] BTC up, RED FURY down to .32 - USB Miners - USA Group Buy on: November 18, 2013, 02:23:59 PM
Guess so. Too bad, it looks promising and it seems many people are interested in buying larger amounts. OP said earlier he'll reply to all PM's in the weekend. The weekend is over and still no PM.

All respect for people doing this next to a fulltime job, but with the fast going development of competitors and the ever rising difficulty and USD/BTC value, you can't afford to be slacking in replying to potential customers.

Having said that, with the latest jumps in value and the coming jump in diff, the .32 btc price should really be updated (downwards that is)

Yeah, this run of cute little red things is done.  They have all been sold.

I am looking to buy a large number of these, sent a pm to oaxaca, waiting to hear back.

I was looking to buy 20 of these, but my PMs went unanswered.

Sorry to everyone who has been trying to reach me.  My day job is killing me right now.  I promise to answer all correspondence this weekend.
407  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] BTC up, RED FURY down to .32 - USB Miners - USA Group Buy on: November 16, 2013, 02:47:09 AM
I  checked the dates  I sent  the money for 3 on the 9th.

I asked about them on the 13th he replied on the 14th.  So I will wait a bit for them.  I am hoping all is well.

Then maybe he's out of thumbs, or I need to PM him again, because I sent a message asking to order on the 12th and still have no reply.

Sorry for everyone who hasn't heard back.  I've been buried with my day job.  I promise to review all correspondence this weekend.

Hey oaxaca:

Are you able to list a price in US$?  (due to btc jumping up kinda fast).

I think $10/GH at the moment would be fair for the next month, which is probably getting closer to your cost unfortunately.  You'd better unload them soon, or just go ahead and mine as the difficulty increases we've seen so far are nothing compared to what's coming in the next 1-3 months.

I could probably grab a bunch of them in Jakarata locally if the price is right.

Very nice work btw - beautiful little creations!

Thanks, they are pretty cool.

Price lowered to reflect the rapidly rising BTC/USD exchange rate.
415  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Blue Fury Support Thread. on: November 03, 2013, 02:28:29 AM
Are you using Ubuntu 13 or 12.04.xx? Just curious.
I am using 13

I switched as I was using 12.04... after switching it appears the rep is having some issues (didn't on 12.04) of which won't let you install bfgminer (that way). I checked the server, the server connection is fine, just files aren't there.

I am getting this also on Ubuntu 13.10

In "software and updates", "other software"  you have to change "saucy" to "raring" in the ppa.

have they been tested on bitminter

Is the bitminter Java client supported yet?
I sent a unit to DrHaribo almost two weeks ago and I think he is working on incorporating it.

Should be soon...

Nice color.

Thanks, we spent a little extra to make them uber sexy.

Why is the heatsink vents running down to the base of the hub instead of across the device which would give it better air flow?

The usb miners that I have running right now have a fan blowing across the rows of miners, not straight down into the hub.  You need air flowing not running into a wall.

I tested a variety of fans and have settled on the smallest, lowest airflow model.  The miners aren't even warm.
