404  Other / Meta / Re: Competition merits reward, need sponsors Legendary, Heroes, Sr., Fully on: February 08, 2018, 07:39:02 AM
You got it wrong mate, you just want to earn merit for your self. Bounty campaigns are separate from the merit system. This competition you suggesting is opposing the rules of the admin on how merit should be use and you aren't making any sense on offering your own service for this.

405  Other / Meta / Re: Is there a place for us to receive merits? on: February 07, 2018, 07:57:27 PM
Rules are rules, just follow it if you want to earn your first merit.  Most of the hero & legend members could just gave their merits to other members. Because most of it catch the attention of the members that is why everybody post should have sense to earn it.
406  Other / Meta / Re: Is it okay to receive a merit from a friend or give some to a friend? on: February 07, 2018, 07:39:41 PM
Hi I am really wondering what would happen to both of your account if you would send some merit to help a friend to rank up their account.
Me and my friends are really worried to give some merits because some might say that they are abusing the merit system,
And also others might think that they are all connected or it is just a alternative accounts to boost their merit.
What if this friend of yours is your another account? Hehe, I'm just quite confuse about your post. And as far as what I understand merit is not about friendship it is about the quality of post. Therefore if the post is highly reasonable for merit, then nothing to worry about.
I agree, anyone using the merit system improperly could lead you into trouble. Its still better to stick to the rules implemented by the admin to ensure the safety of your account.
407  Other / Meta / Re: Reporting for Bounty is needed? on: February 07, 2018, 06:55:27 PM
Dear forum users, do you think that the practice of reporting for Bounty is needed?
Or does a good administrator have tools that will allow him to keep records automatically?

In many altcoin bounty campaigns reporting of work is needed. Some of them tough have automated tools which check bounty participants (read bots  Roll Eyes) or have a google form so that reporting is done outside the forum and not in the thread itself.

In my opinion reporting for bounties leads to only one thing = spam. Specially the quote pyramids of shitposters which include 10-12 weeks of facebook and twitter reports. Its really pathetic to see these posts and does put off the readers of the thread.

However if you are willing to apply in a bounty that needs reporting - then you have no choice but to follow suit. I personally avoid such bounties.
I am completely agree with you, I think that a self-respecting administrator of Bounty must have all the necessary tools to test the work!
I would suggest to check atriz bounty campaigns. He uses google forms for the reports of the participants that joined his bounty campaign. It is very effective because the spreadsheet are very organize every each reports done.
408  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much do you think btc will go up by end of 2018? on: February 07, 2018, 03:51:47 PM
It will still depend on the news on how the market will go up by this year. If FUD will continue by the next two months, the recovery of the market will just close to our ATH before by the end of the year I think.

Also, if there's a clear development for the tax regulation for the government to determine the deductions for a certain trader or investor. If this proposal can be defined, investors would not be afraid to take out of their money in their pocket just to invest in the crypto currency.
409  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need regulations? on: February 07, 2018, 01:42:54 PM
Do we need regulations in the crypto world?
In the current situation that cryptocurrency is facing, I would say yes we need regulations. Governments are doing their own initiative to declare regulations so we are heading there and we have no choice but to follow it.
Should only ICO be regulated or legit coins (not "security tokens") too?
All crypto's.
Can we implement regulations mechanisms in code so that corrupted governmental institutions couldn't manipulate the industry?
Only officials has the authority to this.
Can we still have free market with governments' regulations across the world?
Yes.
The question will be is How?
Does could affect the number of investors involve in the crypto currency? Regulating our trades in not a problem. Its how the government could control our earning specially when it comes with the tax involve. I think the good benefit of it is the whole world can recognize the whale which we could prevent from pump and dump. I mage the scale of lost if they can still control this kind of big whale that could also destroy good platforms.
410  Economy / Speculation / Re: US Stock Crash and its effects on crypto assets on: February 07, 2018, 12:15:59 PM
Well, my source is Twitter, but the price increase indicates a strong trend, approving my sources. I believe it will keep increasing in February and we saw the lowest dip.
I have a feeling that it will increase it because I hear that people are selling their stocks and buying bitcoin.

At current levels converting stock value into Bitcoin value is quite a smart move, but I don't know how many people will actually end up doing so. In that regard, I am very curious to find out what your source is for people saying that they are selling stocks for Bitcoin. Institutions are the first entities to exit the market causing the price to tank hard (in stock market terms), where after that the the less smart money follows. I am more interested in finding out what institutions will do with the fresh liquid capital they have control over right now. Gold this year remained fairly strong value wise, where it even managed to increase very conservatively, and still maintains a plus for this year.
In our country, stock are also down. I think the CMC is also affected with this trend, unless they are shifting to crypto currency from stocks. Good for them because the future of the crypto will be the next stock exchange in a global scene.
411  Economy / Speculation / Re: China banned crypto, sell your BTC while you still can. on: February 07, 2018, 11:43:47 AM
OP will just make another news from FUD. Don't let this kind of topic spread on the forum with no such basis. China banned bitcoin and exchanges almost every year just o make the weak hand sell the investment on a cheaper price. If this kind of people spreading out in the market, then theres always sa sale every year to buy more coins for regular traders like me.  Grin
412  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL or SODL? on: February 07, 2018, 10:40:41 AM
HODL !

Buy if u can and the price are low  Wink
For people have a lot of cash for  investments, this will be more applicable. But for a beginner that having a minimum resource, SODL will be a perfect strategy for it because rather than risking you investments that may not recover in terms of bouncing back.
413  Economy / Economics / Re: Nothing is dying except the illusion of easy seemless riches. on: February 07, 2018, 10:00:44 AM
Being possitive in all this news is really what the community should think. Unlike the newcomers that did not understand what crypto currency was where really making a fuss out of it because they buy at peak of the bitcoin rally that results to dump.

For new comers, always keep in mind the buy low sell high quotes of most traders in the crypto currency if you really want to make a profit.
414  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1btc = 6k usd on: February 07, 2018, 06:28:53 AM
Down trend will occur in every coins in which bitcoin is a part of it. This movement of the market depends on the FUD that most of the investors are experiencing.

Visiting CMC becomes a hoppy to me, I think the market will rise up to 9k by the weekend. I have already bought some bitcoins with the deep and just waiting for my profits. 😁
415  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be 25K USD soon and 40K USD in the end of year on: February 07, 2018, 05:26:28 AM
Hello friends,

I'm CryptoProphet.

Bitcoin will be 25K USD soon and 40K USD in the end of year!

Time to buy BTC now.
Are you ready to the moon? Grin
Any basis? This post wont matter if there will be no concrete source in your information. Any way, in my opinion it will rather be a correction this year specially to hit its all time high this year. This was due to the transactions we encountered where become to big. Fee's are also too high, if this was not resolve,  I think its impossible to hit 40k in you projection this year.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you stick to the HOLD philosophy on: February 07, 2018, 04:13:08 AM
I just wanted to gauge what people did and why.

If you had BTC from October 2017 or earlier, maybe 1 maybe 100 and some with more I'm sure.

Did you sell in December? With the insane rise in price which was due for a correction how many people sold at or near peak and maybe set aside some for a correction to buy back in the Dip.

I ask because with the opportunity to cash out for FIAT which still makes the world go around it seems like selling at 20 000+ (CAD) makes sense. I hear a lot of people who say HOLD and hoard essentially, and to each their own; but I find myself wondering at what point do you sell if that is your philosophy.

Maybe you didn't sell; maybe you sold a few or dumped it all.

I myself didn't have much; I had amassed a small amount that I was portioning off to HOLD, but what I was holding was instantly sold at the peak or used to buy equipment mostly because I had a feeling that it was going to be worth about 50% in the near future. The price stayed higher for longer than I though but it also fell lower than I thought. I might have been completely wrong it may have continued to rise but in the end I was happy with the decision I made. I can always mine more...well some (damn difficulty lol)
Imagine if bitcoin will continue to grow in a perspective from the ATH ($19800+), do you think it can double its capacity to accomodate large transactions a day?  We HOLD ofcourse in a certain time frame or target selling price, but look at the other scenarios that can affect the coins in terms of its platform. Its better to set a selling price that theoretically correct to earn sure profit rather than HOLD Philosophy that can also have a risk if a certain project could not develop anymore.
417  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin, how far it can go! on: February 06, 2018, 04:39:38 PM
I believe that if bitcoin survived this year and the years to come with still a considerable value, bitcoin would hold the potential to change the nature of currencies for a very long time. Bitcoin can change the future of currency and be able to either replace conventional currency or at the very least give way to developing a better version of cryptocurrency.
But don't set a side the possibility that bitcoin can be overtake by other crypto currency which can happen specially when other coins are offering more development rather than the bitcoin. Bitcoin can still have a future but for now, enjoy the drop and buy more bitcoin for the bounce back which are like any other crytocurrency do.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Message to all people who panic when crypto price goes down! on: February 06, 2018, 04:03:38 PM
Why do you panic? Why?

IF YOU DO NOT SELL, YOU DO NOT LOSE ANYTHING! YOU LOSE THE MOMENT YOU SELL, after you purchased high and buy low. It does not matter what is the price ATM, the only thing which matters is what is the price when you decide to sell. So, to shield yourself from losing money, DONT sell under the price you bought it.

If you trust in crypto and believe it ll bounce back, WHAT THE FUCK IS THE PROBLEM AND WHY PANIC?

If you do not trust in crypto and you have doubts whether it ll bounce back, well, in that case you are in the wrong industry and you shouldn't have invested in crypto in the first place.

So knowing this, what is the problem again?

You cant blame them. Most of the investors in the crypto are not studying what crypto currency is and together with the newbies that are zero in knowledge from joining the exchange are to blame here with the drop. People think differently, that's the answer to your question. And if you really what to help, rather than blaming other weak hands, we should promote cryptocurrency in a way that people would invest more on it.

420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roadmap VS Quality on: February 06, 2018, 02:02:13 PM
What do you think is more important for a project: to deliver everything in time, even though the quality will be lower; or make reasonable delays but deliver a really nice project that the team is confident in?
As an investor, I think its is the road map. Specially if your a professional, you should follow the initial agreement for the investors to trust your project. That's why before you could create a god project, everything must be establish first to gain more investment because people are expecting the team to deliver.

Nice project varies on the uniqueness of the platform which stands out in the market. Also quality should also not suffer during the establishment of the road map.
