If you read the all the conspiracy theories and add up all the people that must be in on it, I think pretty much everyone is in the Illuminati

Females are like handgranates.
Remove the ring and the house disapears.
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin XT has code which downloads your IP address to facilitate blacklisting on: August 27, 2015, 05:32:26 AM
If the blacklisting can be disabled or not dosn't really matter.
The problem is that they put in the code for it in the first place.
To me it indicates that the devs are way off track
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinWallet says Bitcoin stress test in September will create 30-day backlog on: August 20, 2015, 08:04:22 AM
What on earth is the point of the stress tests? Sending more transactions than normally will be created the next few months is no test, its just spam
406  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: August 03, 2015, 06:12:40 PM
Why would anyone fear death?
Since nobody actually knows what happens when we die, it's the unknown I guess.
Actually this is mostly related to major religions. People are afraid of death, do not like to speak/think about it and thus religious have gained many followers. Because of their fear, the idea of being saved makes the calm.

I hope you don't mean all people are afraid of death. It just isn't true. I don't really see a good reason why people should be afraid of death at all.

1) If you're religious, then you should feel fine about it.
2) If you're just spiritual but don't follow a religion, you probably believe in the soul, and aren't afraid of death.
3) If you're atheist, you shouldn't believe anything is after death... and I guess maybe can be afraid of dying because you believe that's all there is, but other than that, I don't see a reason to fear death.

When you die, you die. Worms have a party and end of story. There is no soul.

408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Satoshi was revealed to be Charles Manson on: June 07, 2015, 05:56:21 PM
Man, the lack of common sense in this thread... Makes me more pessimistic everyday.

The POINT of the OP is to say if bitcoin was created by an evil entity... it isn't about whether the people in his examples are alive or not. Seriously, what's wrong with you people.

And the answer is, no, it wouldn't matter. The product is completely open source, anyone with enough knowledge can scrutinize it and see if there's anything hidden. Since there isn't, bitcoin itself isn't evil. It doesn't matter who created it, what's important is whether bitcoin itself is intrinsically "evil", and it isn't.

It's like for example, so many bitcoin supporters are idiots. But that doesn't make bitcoin stupid or only for stupid people.

Agree.
Most of the dark age scientists like. f. eks Newton and Leonardo da Vinci were christian. It dosn't really matter if they belived in rubbish like that. Their theories were still brilliant. Same with bitcoin. The theory is sound. What the mind behind it believed dosn't matter

Atheists don't hate religion. They simply don't recognize that the Atheism that they love is really a religion in disguise, and that they are the gods of their religion.

Atheism is similar to Bible religion because, both Old Testament and New Testament say that people are gods.

Atheism is different than Bible religion because, both Old Testament and New Testament say that it is only people who accept Bible religion who are gods.

There is no God, so your statement means that atheists tinks we are nobody, Sorry try again. and what ignorant people wrote in books means nothing for people that dont think the books are holly
411  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Miracles of Bible... on: April 20, 2015, 08:15:21 PM
In the first book of Harry potter is say that he would be a great wissard. By the end of the last one he crearly was. Tis proves by any bible standard that Harry potter is real.
if the book says it's true, then it is true

If you trade face to face, never do it alone. Always have a witness nearby
414  Other / Off-topic / Re: There was no Big Bang, Truth shall set you free!!!! on: April 07, 2015, 08:00:53 PM
The fact that red-shift stars have now been shown to simply be young stars nearby, rather than old stars zooming away from us at high speed, shows that the universe is much smaller than previously thought. In fact, the universe is so small that there is no way that a Big Bang could have happened.

In addition, black holes don't exist. This is because there isn't enough time (the universe is much smaller than thought, and time is much shorter than thought) for formation of black holes. In addition, electric cosmos theory is way more practical that any of the standard cosmology theories of today.

Many modern, so-called scientific theories are not even theories. They are simply touted as such by scientists who want an excuse to continue to be funded so they can keep on playing at what they do.

Smiley

Creationists don't even have anything close to a therory. They just have a book from the iron age.
Science have moved forward. Sadly some people are still stuck in the dark ages believing their book is the truth because the book says so.
Thats all the evidence they need

417  Other / Politics & Society / Re: i don't hate muslims on: March 26, 2015, 07:40:33 PM
Don't hate Muslims. Pity them. Anyway, Islam hates Muslims way more than anybody else could.

Smiley

How can you say that thing? Are you a muslim. You cannot say Islam hate muslims if you are not a muslim.

Smiley

Sure I can. Didn't you see me do it?

To explain again, the only way to make it to Heaven is to believe in the Salvation that Jesus Christ God provided on the cross. Since Islam doesn't believe this, all practicing Muslims are going to Hell. Islam hates Muslims, because if it loved Muslims, it would teach Jesus Christ God salvation so that Muslims could go to Heaven.

Smiley

Yes we can write whatever you want, but also muslims believe in Jesus, Moses, Noah, and all the other prophets so your point is invalid. There isn't difference between muslim and christian people.

Even devils believe in all these. But they aren't saved, either. The difference is in what they believe about all the names you listed, and the way in which they believe in God. Since there is difference between every Muslim, and difference between each Christian, there most certainly is difference between Muslims and Christians.

Smiley

Not really. Both lives in the iron age, taking orders from voices in their heads and argues about who's imainary friend have the biggest dick.
One isn't better than the other.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust yourself to manage your own private keys? on: March 19, 2015, 08:15:25 PM
Why is this relevant? You shouldn't be reusing addresses anyway.

Reusing address(es) is a privacy problem and also it may expose your private key due to reused R values. Overall, it isn't wrong to reuse address but using address in a buggy client usually isn't a good idea.
Is it a problem to recieve payments as well? How are you supposed to not repeat your address for example if you are in a sig campaing? gotta be the same always.

It's no security issue to reuse for receiving money

There is no security issue to reuse even if you send money from an address. Quantuum computers do not exist !!!! The only issue with reusing is privacy.
Oh I get it now, so you can freely use the same account, people just do it to not be traceable on the blockchain I guess.

There is a security issue if you send BTC and use a weak RNG

So reuse to receive is ok
Reuse to send is not so good and can be a security issue, as we have seen with the android RNG bug that resulted in bitcoin theft for people reusing addresses to send from android

All that is true, but security issue is linked to bad RNG, no problem with a good wallet. HD wallets are great as they give you a new address for each transaction and you only need to backup 12 or 24 words.
By the way, Xapo also generates a new wallet address for each transaction.

Yeah but since you comply with the US laws. Know your customer and all that crap it dosn't really matter if it is a new adress or not. your account is tracked no matter how many adresses you use. And if the law decided that you did a no-no you are screwed since you didn't keep your private key private. Not exactly what I call security.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust yourself to manage your own private keys? on: March 19, 2015, 07:46:49 AM
None of the banks you listed are secure. Just look at Cyprus where the money was stolen by the goverment from the "secure" banks.
I rather be my own bank than have my money in a place where it can be stolen that easy just as I would never trust any of those programs you listed with anything that has value for me.
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Regulation The End For Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2015, 01:43:05 PM
If it gets too regulated I think most of the users will move over to something else.
Not sure if it would die, but it would loose a lot of it's value
