4001  Economy / Gambling / Re: Profitable Poker Bot ready for use ! on: January 07, 2020, 05:01:30 AM
Some bots can withdraw the users' balance to the hacker addy, be careful if any of you are thinking seriously about testing this bot.

I'm not saying OP has an infected bot, it would be nice if he can share the code with us.

Grin
4003  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coins massive development and USA dollar on: January 07, 2020, 04:01:12 AM
If they Plan to kill and drop the USA dollar then why they work with so many USA dollar based stable coins like usdc thether and pax....

How does it make any sense?
They say that world Elite Plan is to destroy the USA dollar but the Same time all the big guys working on USA dollar token based stable coins?

Is that means the collapse and crash about USA dollar is hoax?

We need some real currency to give a price to cryptos. If that coin crash then the bitcoin or the crypto coin will crash, and this is fun because in the end, the stable coins are a lie... Nothing is stable in the long run when we talk about economics.
4004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Affection of War to Bitcoin? on: January 07, 2020, 03:56:19 AM
I think a war would bump the bitcoin price because some countries who hit an economic crisis in the war would move all their money or at least a big part of it to bitcoin, other ways banks from other countries could freeze their money.

War moves tons of money and if that money is moved with bitcoin then would be easy to see btc at $100k
4005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee backs out of his $1 million bitcoin prediction on: January 06, 2020, 03:09:40 PM
I know we all would love to see bitcoin at $1M, too bad it doesn't happen... But a bet is a bet and if he doesn't eat his own dick then he is just another talker, he can sit down one side to CW.

In 2014 a guy loses a bitcoin prediction bet and he eats his own hat, i will leave the video because this is a true man.

4006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker talk - Specifically Hold'em - Hands and or strategy on: January 06, 2020, 12:43:04 AM
I think the best strategy is to play safe and follow what the cards are. Also being extremely patient is a virtue only a few have and it adds up to your skills well.As for bluffing I would only use it as a last resource for example after I see all 5 cards and knew that I can’t win but I think the opponents are bluffing too.Trust me rarely use it and most of the time you will come up as a winner.

So true, poker is a patience game, we need to wait for the good hand but if the good hand never comes them bluffing is the way to stay alive until the good hand comes.

For the bluff I like to rise from the start and then all in after the 3 cards come to the table, that's a nice bluff.
4007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the price in iran of bitcoin is manipulated on: January 06, 2020, 12:30:49 AM
So, of a country decide bitcoin cost for that place it means two things:

1.-Government has a lot of Bitcoins.
2.-People can do a lot of money by buying cheap and sell them in Iran.

we can say that's the old Conor, the one who was able to KO any opponent, but i don't trust in the new Conor, i don't know if it's because he stay away from the UFC or what hapenend, but i don't feel like it's the same pearson.

4010  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why did Craig Wright say that bitcoin can't reach $20K? on: January 01, 2020, 05:03:45 AM
Craig Wright recently said that bitcoin will never reach $20K. Of course I don't believe him, and the market will probably prove him wrong anyway (again), but why would he say something crazy like this?

1.- Bitcoin already hit that price (or get really close $19,783.06)

2.- No one cares about what does Craig Wright says, Faketoshi can eat his words.

You can be sure bitcoin will hit $20k and much more in the next years, just grab some popcorns and watch.
4011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Interest with Bitcoin? on: January 01, 2020, 04:56:54 AM
Is this possible?  Example you lend bitcoin to something similar to like a bank and they give you interest on it?  Like how now they give you 2% interest?

I heard binance is doing something similar like that but it was like 10%?

You can create a thread in the lending section, for each loan you will get a small % back. You can choose how much you want to earn on each loan but if you use high fees no one will use your services. So, the best thing to do is to read other threads of people who do the same. I will leave the link here:

Good luck.

4013  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there formula for bitcoin price ? on: January 01, 2020, 04:44:25 AM
I am wondering analysis of bitcoin price/value.
I see some simplified econmics model in Princeton course about bitcoin.
That is Supply = T/P
           Demand = S/D
For price P = TD/S.

Although it is simplied model, while it provides basic thinking about it.

My question is is there other popular model/formula about it ?

This formula maybe works to estimate the price in real time, but it doesn't work to make a future projection of bitcoin price. In the end the bitcoin price doesn't come from a formula, it comes from the markets. What's the price that people are ready to pay for it and how much want the users at the moment to sell their bitcoins.
4014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we review 2019? Please leave few things you achieved or lost in crypto on: January 01, 2020, 04:39:27 AM
Generally we want to learn from you. Its important we review the year and probably correct our mistakes in 2020.

Regards.

I think an important lesson for lot of uns here would be 'Hold More', in my scenario i spend more than the 90% of btc i receive this year, i should hold more and in this point, i would be taking a nice vacation right now. But is hard for some of us to nos spend the money when we already have it in our wallets.

Saludos.

4016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many ICOs you know launched their product and are doing well? on: December 31, 2019, 09:38:45 PM
After googling a little bit i found the list of the ICOs with the biggest Returns On Investment (ROI).
 1. NXT — 1,265,555% ROI
2. IOTA — 424,084% ROI
3. Neo (Formerly Antshares) — 378,453% ROI
4. Ethereum — 279,843% ROI
5. Spectrecoin — 149,806% ROI

4017  Economy / Speculation / Re: '''Happy new year''' wish (Bitcoin) price in this year 2020 on: December 31, 2019, 09:18:49 PM
Happy new year guys, you will see how this 2020 will be a nice year to hit the moon.

New coins will born and some others will die, is the way it is, but i really hope to see the bitcoin price in a new all-time high limit. I will pray for $50k/btc this year.

A big hug for this great community and let's move on guys, good luck for all!
4018  Other / Off-topic / Re: How motivate yourself to work? on: December 31, 2019, 09:11:42 PM
The money you get after the works get done should be enough motivation for doing the work. If the prize at the end isn't good enough then you will be working without motivation.

A lot of people need a second job to get a better income, but that doesn't mean they really enjoy or are motivated for what they are really doing.
4019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the hot topics of crypto in 2019? on: December 31, 2019, 06:25:43 PM
For me the hot topic in cryptos this 2019 was:

*ETH moving to PoS
*CLAM crash
*Bitcoin as payment on extortion malware.
*Lightning Network develope and implementation
*segwit Adoption

And an exponential adoption is impressive how more people are using Bitcoin with time.
4020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 51% attack on: December 31, 2019, 04:48:11 PM
...
You misunderstand what a 51% attack can achieve.

A successful 51% attacker would mine and build a secondary blockchain in secret, with whatever transactions they like included in it. Once their own secret blockchain is longer than the main chain, they broadcast it to the network. Since they now have a longer chain with more proof of work, the rest of the network would automatically switch to this secondary chain, and the previous main chain would be abandoned. Any transactions which were included in the previous main chain but not in the newly accepted secondary chain would be reversed. This can happen after theoretically any number of confirmations, although with each confirmation it becomes exponentially harder and more expensive. However, a successful 51% attack would, at a minimum, be able to reverse or double spend transactions with 1 confirmation.

Most exchanges wait for at least 3 confirmations before confirming bitcoin, and some still wait for 6.

Thanks for the explanation o_e_l_e_o, after reading your comment i read more from other sources about the topic. You are right, it is not about a double-spend problem, it is a full block replace and a chain replacement.
