4061  Economy / Speculation / Re: The real reason BTC price has dropped on: December 18, 2019, 03:54:23 PM
You make it sound simpler, but behind a crash there are millions of dollars involved, and the final price is about offer and demand. So, the crash isn't about two guys buying and selling lower each time. It is about bears and wales moving bigs amounts of money.
4063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How 18-year old boy became Millionare from Bitcoin on: December 18, 2019, 03:28:42 PM
Great history, isn't new at all but i haven't read about this kid before. It looks like he was wise in the right moment to buy tons of coins. For sure right now he is working in his own coin or some big projects like that. I'm not sure if this was about luck, or the kid is really smart.
4064  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fees on: December 18, 2019, 03:22:43 PM
There are some services like https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ who help you to calculate the right fees for your transactions. If the transactions have lots of inputs and outputs that will make from it a big transaction with bigger fees, but if you only have 1 input and one output the right fees for today are 22 satoshis/byte.
4065  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Una plataforma latinoamericana para intercambiar criptomonedas rápidamente on: December 17, 2019, 11:10:38 PM

4066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long will existing encryption last? on: December 17, 2019, 11:03:46 PM
i think the current encryption should work for the next 10 years, and no more because with the new quantic computers our lovely sha256 will be obsolete. Encryption should grow at the same rate the technology grows. That's the only way we could walk in a secure way.
4067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2 Dice Strategies that Might be Proven Helpful on: December 17, 2019, 11:00:49 PM
After reading the Paroli Strategy i join to a dice site and try it. I get busted fast because i never get the 3 consecutive wins. It shouldn't be hard to win 3 bets consecutive at 50% but at the end is as always just about luck. There is not a real strategy for always win.
4068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 17, 2019, 04:30:20 PM
We all know that being an addicted gambler is a very tough spot in our life, but what if you need to decide what to choose, your addiction or you family? i.e., the given situation will be that you need to decide on the spot if you want to pursue your "career" in gambling or make a good simple life with your family? what will you choose?

I would say Family is first, but you know, people act weird when they are addicted to something. And gambling is one of those vices who can destroy your life and leave a bad taste for the family.

In the past in my country (México), people used to bet their parents in a poker hand. Is nuts and people don't do it nowadays, but is a good example about how the gambling adiction can damage the family.
4069  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Art & Blockchain on: December 16, 2019, 11:37:24 PM
Maybe in the future, we will see some art galleries for Bitcoin. The problem with this business is to send a piece of art from a country to another. It would be nice to have a site with art live auctions. But I'm not sure if a lot of people from the bitcoin environment are really interested in spend their bitcoins in art.

What about you guys, have you ever buy a piece of art with bitcoin?
4070  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Faucet Game payout in what coin? on: December 16, 2019, 11:27:33 PM
I like Dogecoin for faucets because the user feels like he is getting tons of coins and is cheap for the faucet to send the coins to the user. I remember the old times when faucets use to give like 20 Doges each hour. it was almost the same profit that the user gets to mine with a couple of CPUs.
4071  Local / Altcoins (criptomonedas alternativas) / Re: juegos ganar criptomonedas on: December 16, 2019, 11:24:52 PM

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1877080.0

4072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Do Women Want? More Educational Materials Before Investing in Bitcoin on: December 16, 2019, 11:13:52 PM
I think the same information about bitcoin goes to men and women. The thing here is who is really interested in it? Is like car mechanics, why most of them are a man?  Do you think a woman can't take that job? she can, but they give a fuck about that and leave that job for men. And something like that happens with Bitcoin.
4073  Economy / Gambling / Re: Opinions - Advices - Tips&Tricks - Casinos online on: December 16, 2019, 11:09:04 PM
Hello everyone, I want to ask you the tips and advice with a gambling site. I have documented myself about these sites, there is no existing site that is perfect for players. What do you think ?  how should it be, design, games, contests? I look forward to your advice and opinions on how you should be a perfect site. If I haven't posted where I should, please have someone move the topic to the appropriate section.  Thanks

The perfect betting site should have a great community, and good games with a nice design, I mean it should have it all and is hard to find sites like those. The games should be fun with the user try to multiply the money on them, that way at least if he loses he has some nice time and comes back soon.
4074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: December 16, 2019, 10:08:44 PM
Basically nothing we can do to thebm as a sign of punishment but, investor's should be very much careful with their investment. Knowing fully well that; most of these icos and ieos where out to scam potential investors of their funds. The only punishment we can give to them is: ensure to research into the project you intend to invest.

True, at this point all people have seen how most of the ICOs end in a scam. This is why they should be responsible of their own actions. But if you want some laws to fight against them i have bad news for you. We will have to wait a long time for it because ICOs arent regulated at all in the globe.
4075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin: We've sold around 70,000 ETH at All-time High on: December 16, 2019, 08:50:11 PM
It was a smart way to capitalize on the business, but at the same time, it doesn't look like a coincidence that he sold in the top high. Maybe he knows the dump was coming, or maybe he pas part of the dump by selling those 70k ETH.

We can say ETH was a '$22M in pocket' idea. Smart move from Vitalik.
4076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In 2019, Students Demanded Blockchain Education. In 2020, It’s Coming on: December 16, 2019, 08:19:11 PM
This is some great news, it takes 10 years for humanity to understand how blockchain is now part of their life, so, is important for the new generation to understand how it works and how to use it.

For sure 2020 will be a great year, and not only for blockchain. Wink
4077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 16, 2019, 05:11:21 PM

4078  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: La Cadena Ser y las consultora Everis y Accenture– víctimas de Ransomware ahora on: December 16, 2019, 03:20:17 PM
...

And she just becomes the Person of the year...

I don't know what to think now, she is been used as a marketing product.
4080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What kind of a Bitcoin Address is this? on: December 15, 2019, 11:27:37 PM
what you are looking at is an OP_RETURN output script and as far as i know there is no address format or encoding defined for these types of script in bitcoin.
however with a closer look this output is a special OP_RETURN that is used in OMNI layer, i am not familiar with the encodings in that layer but it is possible that this special encoding is used to indicate and OMNI transaction.

This is right if you take a look to the same transaction but in another explorer, you will see the OP_RETURN output:
