421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A check on your wallet on daily basis can earn you some dollar on: July 19, 2023, 05:27:01 PM
It is really risky. Your wallet can receive honeypot scam tokens.

You can verify those tokens with these websites and don't interact with their smart contracts if you are unsure.
8 ways to check if it's a token scam
https://honeypot.is/
https://detecthoneypot.com/
https://github.com/dappradar/tokens-blacklist

That's right, you have to be careful with lots of honeypot patterns. if we are tempted, one or another gets dusted attcak and runs out of gas it's useless if we take a swab. That's for sure. Why should we waste our time on something unnecessary.

Many have been hit by dusting attacks like that. interact with scam websites and get hit by dusting attacks or some of the new hacking methods nowadays, namely drained wallet, so all the tokens in your wallet can be stolen easily.

Well, just checked his performance on CMC and it really pumped to half dollars but if you checked the volume on that day it only has $85k liquidity. I think you don't need to check your wallet everyday if you know the token will do good in the long term, this one is a total shitcoin and it pose really great risks of rug pull. Their twitter has been inactive since the beginning of the year but their token just pumped this May of 2023.
The way CoinMarketCap works sometimes means it cannot be used as the main benchmark because the possible price difference between the place of purchase and those on the CMC list is still different, causing the estimated value of assets owned to sometimes not match the calculations. When looking at performance, it shows extraordinary progress from the start of the creation of CMC until now, when they have always developed to be the best.

When you first look at CMC, sometimes there are errors or a mismatch between the Token price on CMC and the original price. Many of the shitcoins that I have checked on CMC reach thousands of dollars, but it's just a fake pump and the volume stays at zero and the shitcoins are worthless. and looking at the shitcoin information on CMC there are several lists of Exchange Listings and it actually doesn't have any volume and sometimes the names of some coins are the same. The development of CMC has been amazing and now several updates have made CMC more accurate and it is very rare for price or other mismatches to occur.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: July 19, 2023, 04:44:17 PM
After longer time not receiving from airdrop, yesterday Arkham project success earn above $200 and seems excited because airdrop project still not waste our time yet, since cryptocurrency still exist I believe with bounty and airdrop keep exist and worth for participating. Don't give up for doing all bounties or airdrop task because many new cryptocurrency project promote their coins trough airdrop and bounty campaign.

You can check with Arkham project join waiting list, all participants earn almost 197 ARKM coins worth first time listing above $160 and user active share their referral links earn many points and get much Arkham coins, don't judge any bounties or airdrop because still profitable until right now and worth earn from 10$ until $200 each kinds project.

Whether it is feasible or not depends on the quality and seriousness of the project. There are many airdrops that come with various tasks. Like registering Beta users done by Arkham. Just signing up you can get their tokens and make $100 more now for being listed on Binance. and many more successful airdrops. But there are also many airdrops that only provide a small reward and cannot even be sold because the project is not being continued. I'm getting a lot from airdrops especially right now focusing on incentive airdrops like Projects that are hosting a testnet and it's going to give a staggering income if it's successful.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: July 19, 2023, 02:20:50 PM
~snip~
Withdrawing his winnings seem very considerate but some casino just allow them to withdraw what they deposit. I think we have seen these happen every time there is a scam accusation where the user did something against the TOS. Its often just what was deposited as allowed to be withdrawn.

I'm not sure if authorities will find it illegal when casinos have lots of domain to mirror their website so that users from countries where gambling is illegal don't have to use VPN.
Because the casino caught the cheating gambler, the casino would not allow him to withdraw all his money. Apart from that, casinos also provide a deterrent effect to other gamblers so they don't follow what the cheating gambler is doing.

If a casino has multiple domains, it may be a mirror if gamblers from different countries cannot access one of the domains. And with that many domains, gamblers can still visit the casino. Apart from that, trusted casinos also always tell their members to follow the official domain and include the mirror domain if they cannot access the official domain.

The deterrent effect will of course warn other gamblers not to use a VPN or violate the ToS that has been made. Trusted legal casinos will usually apply their rules according to the ToS that have been made and will not violate them. But some new casinos that don't have clarity sometimes allow members from banned countries to find new users to register and play at their casino. But if the casino is serious and wants to cover other countries using multiple domains will make it easy to access and warnings or official domain information will be posted on their social media.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: July 19, 2023, 01:45:40 PM
I am not specific in gambling, I only play slot games and some sportsbet when I need entertainment. It didn't take much money for the stakes, but some greed would have screwed things up. When you are offered by the casino to let go of the match by paying $ 200 and it turns out that your guess was wrong. it will be a mistake that makes you feel like a failure in this gambling. But the decision was fair enough because both games are at the same time and you can't choose between them. It's a 50:50 decision so you don't have to get too emotional. you might be able to get a win next time with a few more matches. the important thing is that you believe in the chosen team.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 17, 2023, 08:05:16 PM
And Vlahovic did not manage to become the main striker in Juventus in full, then injuries also knocked him out for a while. Alegri understands that Juventus needs a more punchy striker, maybe Vlahovic is still too young and he needs more experience. I saw the news that PSG were interested in Vlahovic, I'm a little surprised if Enrique can be interested in him, I think that he can be slow for the way Enrique plays.

Age is not an obstacle for Vlahovic he has proven this in the 2021/2022 season when he was ranked 2nd as the top scorer in the Italian league , if his performance dropped when he moved to Juventus maybe for several reasons like an injury and maybe he just hasn't found the right partner yet. As a young player Vlahovic still has potential that is why big clubs like PSG and others are interested in signing him but I think this season is not the right time to move.

Not the right season to move either because Vlahovic is still a valuable player at Juventus. Even though Juventus wants to sell Vlahovic, Juventus will price Vlahovic at 80 million Euros and this will be an advantage for Juventus because Vlahovic's initial price is 70 million Euros. The 23-year-old player is still under contract with Juventus until June 2026. If it is true that Vlahovic will move to PSG, Juventus have also prepared a replacement for Dal. With the money from selling Vlahovic, Juventus will have enough funds to bid for Lukaku from Chelsea. However, Dusan Vlahovic received brutal threats from fanatical supporters if he joined Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: July 17, 2023, 07:22:19 PM
Calling someone a "son of a loser"... isn't that a bit too harsh? Everyone falters at times; it's human nature. Learning from our mistakes is, indeed, important, but let's not trivialize the complexity of the issues at hand with such derogatory labels.
Well everyone ever make fault, but blaming someone for our mistake is really not tolerable mistake since they're a manipulator. If they can admit they was wrong and learn to responsible with anything that they were done, this mistake can be forgiven and they will learn to become a better person.

Sometime you need to be harsh, you can't always accept every bad thing and think they will learn, you need to shut their mouth and intimidate them.

In the same manner, rectifying your mistake by committing another mistake will never get you to the right path.

Because in that way, you will still find yourself in a cycle where you cannot get out unless if you had an eye opener to see things clearly and that what you did is actually not okay. You are just thinking that it is okay because you're too accustomed with that habit but there's still some room to improve and learn from those mistakes, and while we're still breathing, we do have the chance make things better.

so as not to make another mistake it is necessary to be careful to step. The more you are alert and aware that mistakes are always made because you are careless enough, then there will be no other mistakes. Improving the situation so that it doesn't get worse would certainly be a good opportunity. Don't always blame others for the mistakes we make ourselves. Defeat in gambling is of course because we are unlucky or even too greedy with the bets that are made. no self-control and good financial management. Do gambling in a reasonable and controlled manner, then defeat will also be controlled.
427  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What does volatility means with example? on: July 17, 2023, 07:00:14 PM
Hi can someone explain volatility with example, I understand what it kinda means but find it hard to implement in reality. Like for example if btc volatility is 4% does that means it goes up and down 4%? Everywhere i find it shows formulas which i am not interested in, I am interested in how I can implement it in my trading decisions.
First, understand what this means properly and correctly and where it leads. because if I'm not wrong In the context of trading, volatility is often considered as one of the risk considerations for the uncertainty associated with the investment that we are running, if you already understand, then you play.

The easy explanation as suggested by @Darker45 means what if you are a current trader with a low risk profile, you may want to avoid assets that have high volatility, because large price fluctuations can result in large losses and vice versa, if you are a trader with a high risk profile, high volatility is a potential opportunity for greater profits for your trading decisions.
It also depends on how long you are planning to hold a certain asset despite the level of volatility that it carries. if you are a short-term trader with a low-risk profile, you should definitely avoid assets with high volatility, but if you are a long-term trader with a low-risk profile, you might consider assets with high volatility because that wouldn't affect your portfolio or trades that much since you won't be selling your assets very soon.

The same thing applies to users with high-risk profiles that are trading either for short-term or long-term, they need to choose assets accordingly after determining the level of volatility they carry. A lot of traders don't look at such metrics before making trades which becomes an issue later on.

But after all, assets with high volatility will provide faster returns because the set price targets are quickly achieved. Although using a long term strategy a fixed price target is set, if it is reached first it is good luck. The most suitable asset for crypto users and the safest is Bitcoin, it will be better for the long term with moderate volatility. We will see Bitcoin reach ATH again later. The more Bitcoin assets held, the more profit you will get.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy ETH as much as you can.... on: July 17, 2023, 06:27:00 PM

I don't understand why Ethereum can be recommended for investing now,
because if I see that Ethereum is nothing special anymore after Ethereum 2.0 was launched,
and even this platform has abandoned some of their users, and switched to platforms with cheap gas fees like BSC or Polygon .

That's because Ethereum is still recognized as the top Altcoin and still a follower of Bitcoin under any circumstances. Ethereum has never had any legal or other issues. Even though after the launch of Ethereum 2.0 there were still no significant changes, it proves that Ethereum is still growing and getting updated. Just look at how the Ethereum base project continues to develop. Layer 2 projects are under Ethereum and it makes a good Ecosystem for Ethereum. Ethereum gas fees are still quite stable, there is an increase due to several large transactions taking place. and see how Layer 2 overcomes the problem of expensive gas fees, that's a good solution.
Ethereum is the current king of altcoins and ETH is the number 2 cryptocurrency after bitcoin. Ethereum has the strength and power, recognition in the cryptocommunity, but at the same time, it is cheap relative to btc. Which, in turn, allows you to make good money on it. Remember the past ATH price of ETH, this value was close to ~5000$. I am absolutely sure that the next peak value will be more than these figures, which means that investing in eth will pay off well. Investors understand this and, accordingly, will take advantage of it. And the more investments, the higher the capitalization and the price. I assume that the return on investment in Ethereum will be higher than in bitcoin. Add to this the reliability and good reputation of the project. There are only positives around.

I don't understand why people like @Smitty Werben Man Jensen have similar questions about investing in eth, because I think that Ethereum has no alternatives among altcoins, thanks to the balance between profitability and reliability.

If the Ethereum ATH price can later penetrate $ 5000 that is truly extraordinary and this will be a return that is certainly more than Bitcoin.
But I think it also depends on how much we invest. The price of Ethereum also depends on the price of Bitcoin and it will never let go. But we just have to wait for the Altseason to happen and it will be a peak in Altcoin prices. Seeing how reliable Ethereum and well-developed projects are, Ethereum became the King of Altcoins and became the second top coin.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's find out which gambling game is the most played among our community... on: July 16, 2023, 11:12:58 PM
I am not very much surprised that sports betting is leading the pool, alot of gamblers only focus on sports betting, and I personally believe that sports betting is the actual game where the fun we seek lives..

Aside sports betting, other games I play most of the time is slot games, dice and keno, though I don't play dice so often, keno is my favorite casino game, each time I feel like playing a casino games, it's most keno, i only play dice, crash once in a long while.

as we can see, the casino classics are just secondary to sports betting. i believe this is owed to the fact that a lot are finding sports betting to have higher chance of winning if you know the sports very well. of course, we all do want to win, so if you have particular sports in mind and you feel that you have good bets to place with, of course, you will put more money into it. whereas, we know that if we play on luck-based games, very few are going all in because in the long run, the possibility of losing all your bank roll is high.

Well, one can argue with that as some of the bettors/gamblers are not that lucky when it comes to sports betting. Sure it will be more easy to bet on it especially if we know the sports/games very well, but it will be the same and will all boils down if the game is not really for you, that is why some are just inclined to play in luck-based games where they have more chances to win compared to sports betting.
Sports betting is much preferred for the reason of higher winning probability as the win/loss is much associated with the knowledge and information one have related to the particular sports. Even with the sports betting there is need of luck without which it is quite hard to win as more underdog wins were taking place these days. With the next in the voting is the slots and dice which were luck based and the preference is much upon its result that can be got whereas it takes time with sports betting.

I am also more interested in sports betting because I can make predictions beforehand. see which teams are playing and analyze past matches to determine which team to choose for betting. the bet amount also depends on how well the team is playing. 80% is possible from analysis and 20% will be determined by luck. for slots and dice games it's more of a game for entertainment, only a small amount of money is at stake, this is purely due to luck alone, there is no analysis that can be done.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: July 16, 2023, 10:31:54 PM
So personally, I would never gamble all my Bitcoins just because my government has banned Bitcoin but I would hold them in a non-custodial wallet and keep them for as long as I can because maybe some day in the future, I get to use them somewhere that might benefit me in some way.

There is no sense in gambling all the funds inside our wallets just because the government are planning to ban bitcoin and the use of other cryptocurrency, if that is what the people are thinking, I don't doubt why they are losing frequently because they have that kind of mindset. We always have a choice even though our own government is banning the existence of bitcoin, we can still go back to the basic and gamble like nothing happened.

I believe those who just gamble all their bitcoin for the fear of government banning it in their country are all ignorant of how to store or save it for the future because if a current government ban it, succeeding government can change the ban and you start enjoying the increased btc value because the price will not be stable from what it is then .

They must learn how to properly store bitcoins and not be bothered by the government. The use of a hardware wallet is the most secure storage without third parties and you alone have full control. Those who sell bitcoins out of fear that bitcoin regulations ban bitcoin entirely will certainly not have a future advantage when those regulations change. just need to see and wait how bitcoin will be received in the future without strict regulation.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 15, 2023, 04:36:22 PM
After almost certainly will losing Kyle Walker because he has verbal agreement with Bayern Munich then Manchester City will starting to find the replacement of him that reported they were interested to bought Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich even Manchester City will make Pavard as their main priority this because Guardiola was very liked to this player especially Pavard can be played as wing back or centre back and Bayern Munich also will not hold Pavard because before this rumour appears Pavard himself want to leave Bayern Munich because he want look for new challenge and playing outside Germany and it say both representative have been met to discuss about this transfer whether it will be barter scheme or two different transfer separated

It's not just Manchester City who want Benjamin Pavard, even Manchester United and Juventus are interested in bringing Pavar to their team. But, it seems that Manchester City is one step ahead of them. According to Fabrizio Romano, Pavard has entered negotiations privately with Man City.
would it be a barter? Because interestingly, the two players' contracts will both expire at their respective clubs in the summer of 2024. The difference is, Benjamin Pavard's price is more expensive on the market than Kyle Walker. Pavard has a selling price of 40 million Euros, while Walker 15 million Euros. That's because the age of the players is different, Pavard is younger (27 years) than Walker (33 years).
Pavard has also been a key part of Bayern Munich's reserve line since joining the club from Stuttgart in 2019.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Appropriate percentage of income for gambling on: July 15, 2023, 03:36:35 PM
~snip~Unlike you, I don't use my weekly income. I rather drawing my budget at the beginning of every month and assign 10% of my income to gambling for the month. I also do not set out to gamble every other week. It all depends on some factors. What I have seen is that I usually don't even use up to the 12%. So when I win, I remove the capital and use the "profit or winning" money for my next wager.

Every month 10% is quite a large amount, but will there always be a budget for gambling every month? Wouldn't that be a waste? I myself only use below 10% or even very low for gambling because it is only entertainment. There is no budget target in a month. If the previous budget is still there and I'm still using it, I'll continue to use it to play. If it's for then I'm happy, if I lose I won't make another deposit until I want to gamble again. this simply depends on one's own desires, there is no routine gambling activity.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs that indicate you are not addicted to gambling on: July 15, 2023, 03:00:43 PM
That's too much, the simple way to indicate someone isn't a gambling addict is gamble only for fun and afford to lose.
<snip>
I don't think that it is too much. It is helpful, in my opinion. Readers can assess themselves using these specified scenarios.
This is a good thread, but this is a general knowledge, we may vary depending to our own situations, so do not rely into it fully. If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling habits, seeking advice from professionals is recommended. They can provide personalized guidance and support.

This thread is like general knowledge counseling for those who gamble not to get addicted. A person's situation does vary, some never think about the benefits of gambling and some are always counting how many times they have won and how much they have won. Those who are addicted will be seen clearly from their attitude and how they gamble. In order not to get too caught up in gambling addiction, you need advice from other people by telling how to do gambling. Addicts really need other people so they don't get too caught up.

I see ETH to become next blessing in disguise, I remember when it was around $100 people condemned it not to go anywhere within the space of a month interval ETH shuck the price in 500% increase and today is about $1800 let's watch and see ETH will create unbreakable records, channel some useless coins you have to ETH and relax in future.

I agree with you, therefore as long as the price of Ethereum has not reached its ATH price, so I will continue to do DCA Ethereum every time I have money, because I believe that when the altseason occurs, then the price of Ethereum will definitely increase very high and create a new ATH price, so I will get a big profits by taking advantage of the current opportunity to buy Ethereum at a low price.

The important thing is whether you can hold it or not, when the price of Bitcoin falls, the price of Ethereum will fall even more. I also hope EThereum hits ATH again when Bitcoin starts hitting ATH. The altcoins that I believe in right now are indeed ethereum and several other altcoins only as complementary investments. The main investment remains Bitcoin and followed by Ethereum. buying gradually will really help to add more asset ownership. But do financial management well to be able to manage everything.
436  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How is sending bitcoin through a QR-code safe ? on: July 14, 2023, 10:48:51 PM
~
all you have to do is ask the receiver to send you the QR code, and you can scan it from wherever you are.

I think that is exactly what he was implying. If the recipient sends the QR code remotely, for example via email or chat messages, then there is a risk that a potential attacker can intercept that communication and modify the QR code. Paying with a QR code is only safe if you are sure of the authenticity and integrity of the QR code you are scanning.

It may have happened to me, fraudulent schemes are currently growing and becoming more sophisticated. Before making a payment with a QR code, we can see the payment information that appears before selecting the send button. here will be shown the intended merchant information and input the nominal to be sent. Sometimes there are people who replace the physical QR code in a store with their QR code (fraudsters) with almost the same name. That 's why you have to be careful and confirm before sending.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is more important for crypto users? on: July 13, 2023, 11:51:27 PM
~snip~Gambling is different with trading or investment which it should really be separated. There should really be a specific amount or budget which it is allocated for gambling
on which it is really not that right on thinking up on any investment on the time that you do play so that it wont really be giving out that kind of thinking along the way.

The amount of the budget for gambling must also be as minimal as possible. because it is only as entertainment not to seek a large return. If someone continues to expect a lot from gambling, they have probably already lost quite a lot at gambling. Gambling and investing really have to be separated, because if you don't separate the ongoing investment it will be disrupted when the gambling loses and requires other funds to make another bet. In the end investment funds will be cut. then do gambling as entertainment so there will be no burden and no games that are too big.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs that indicate you are not addicted to gambling on: July 13, 2023, 11:31:01 PM
I think that the key point in this matter is to realize that there is a difference between coping mechanisms and entertainment.
In my personal point of view, when we talk about coping there must be some factor or situation which cause stress and other undesirable feelings on us, so in order to face them we develop behavioral patterns to deal with them, if the stress is relatively high and gambling becomes our only coping mechanisms, then I would say there is a problem going on.

For example, I can watch Netflix whether I am stressed after a day of work and also if I am feeling relaxed during the weekend. in the first case it is a coping mechanism in the second one it is just leisure time being spend without a source of stress.

In essence there is a coping mechanism when stress is happening, if gambling is a place to relieve stress it actually becomes a means of entertainment needed to reduce stress. There are no addictive effects that will occur as long as everything is well controlled. some people who start to get addicted to gambling will usually always have a desire to continue gambling and hope they will continue to win and achieve high income. when they will just spend a lot of money without them knowing it.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 12, 2023, 06:20:11 PM
If PSG are really interested in Osimhen, then surely they will make an offer that Napoli will most likely find difficult to refuse. But I don't believe Osimhen is worthy of replacing Mbappe if he decides to go elsewhere. After all, Napoli really want their best striker not to go anywhere because they still need him, but of course if a team offers him a value that is hard to refuse then maybe Napoli will let him go.
Napoli basically doesn't want to release important players to clubs that aren't promising, while PSG excludes them. If I'm not mistaken, there has been a statement from Napoli that only PSG can make a fantastic offer for an Osimhen. Given that Napoli believes PSG will treat Osimhen well, especially now that the possibility of them preparing an option to replace Mbappe makes the path easier if Osimhen is interested.

PSG is trying hard to get Osimhen and has made an offer of 100 million euros to recruit him. PSG has set Victor Osimhen as a priority target to replace Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe still has 1 year remaining on his contract and it is believed that Mbappe will not extend the contract, because he is interested in Real Madrid and is likely to become part of Real Madrid after the contract with PSG ends. So a suitable replacement for PSG at the moment is Osimhen, and Manchester United are also interested in Osimhen but they can't overtake PSG because PSG has abundant finances and can seek 100 million Euros for Osimhen.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: July 12, 2023, 05:38:30 PM
Anything else anyone can think of? Like... read this post before gambling? Tongue
Firstly I will add borrowing money from others to gamble. We should avoid this no matter what. When you win frequently, you may get greedy and think about using more money to gamble. But you don't have more. What do you do? You borrow more money in order to gamble. This is a serious issue. As gambling is totally based on luck, we can never be sure that every gamble will give us 100% profit. One wrong move or bad luck could cause you to lose all. So in this situation, borrowing money is never an option.

Secondly, I would like to add keeping records. Keeping a record of everything that includes, wins, losses, asset usage, time spent everything. This will help us better analyze the situation. We can use that data to either improve ourselves or control our gambling based on what is needed (more or less).
Those who borrow money to gamble basically never succeed in earning enough money to repay the loans they've taken, so it's never a good decision to borrow money for gambling, once you started borrowing money for gambling, you will enter an endless loop that never stops because you lose the first loan then you take another one bigger than the previous one so that you can repay the previous one and also have some money to gamble again.

When you lose the second time, you take another one which is even bigger than the second one only to repay the second loan and have some money to gamble with the hope that you might make enough money to repay the outstanding loan and get rid of all this but it basically never ends because you keep losing.

It keeps on repeating itself and without end. Borrowing money just to play at gambling and in the end lose and new problems will continue to appear with increasingly large bills. Expecting to win big at gambling, but instead getting into more debt, that would not be good and there would be no more fun in gambling. People who do things like that are just people who are already addicted to gambling and continue to do it even though they have no money. It will be harmful to mental health and the economy. There needs to be control or reminders not to do that.
