421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: January 03, 2024, 07:08:29 AM
Personally I don't care what someone who is not feeding me thinks about me or my gambling habit. Moreover I am adult and I have the right to decide what I do with my life. You can't live your life and mine at the same time. Gambling is not a crime so I don't have to hide while gambling. People are free to think whatever they want.

As long as you have self confidence on you and you are an adult, no one could stop you from gambling. Yes, people may advise you to limit your gambling activities or do not to gamble too much so that we might become addicted. If someone tells us in this sense, meaning he is caring for us, then for sure we can listen to him and do not mind thinking he is interfering in our lives.

Sometimes people may make fun of us that we are gambling or might call us with bad names, in such cases, we have the right to ignore them or give them a strong message. Again, it depends on which intention the other person is guiding us.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do casino owners benefit from creating multiple casinos? on: January 01, 2024, 07:59:15 AM
Currently there are several casinos or gambling platforms with one owner and their aim is to make the scope of competitors narrower in order to achieve quite large profits. Its trick or strategies business from casino owner have multiple casino operation and make the gambler when tired with one side casino will move to other casino but still the same owner  just change name, game play or other unique feature between one casino and the other casino.
The same strategies between real business and casino benefit by the owner when creating multiples casino, they will earn much profitable exactly two until five casino with the same owner have been popular and every years the user active up drastically. I don't think the owner of casino will be enough earn profitable from their business with one casino site only.

Well, it all starts with owning one casino first, making it a truly reputable casino where gamblers find it convenient and easy to gamble. As their business grows, they will have a lot of money and they can put that extra money to invest in the creation of the 2nd casino and so on.
Of course, the owner will be hiring the staff and mods for each of his casinos as he cannot handle everything himself. There is nothing wrong with this approach.

The bottom line here is that one needs to have the capital to run multiple businesses or more than one casino site. So it is the game of money. The more successful sites you have, the more revenue you will generate, and this cycle continues.
423  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Should i change my BTC Wallet Address ? on: January 01, 2024, 07:01:59 AM
A P2P real life transaction? It would be perfectly legitimate in most jurisdiction and they wouldn't have a good reason to ask you to provide a concrete proof, even if that is possible.
There doesn't need to be a paper or digital trail of a P2P transaction. You met someone. The topic of Bitcoin came up. You wanted to buy some, the person agreed to sell it to you. That's where everything begins and ends. It's not illegal and and you haven't done anything wrong buying that way.

Buying face to face also minimizes the risk involved in online P2P trading (where there are some chances of scam) but usually it is hard to find a person who will want to do a P2P transactions as most people wants to remain anonymous and also it becomes even more difficult to find such a person in the country where the bitcoin is not legal.

However, doing a face to face P2P transaction can be another way to get rid of your traces of the coins as you are exchanging (converting to fiat or any stable coin / altcoin) from a real person and not from any exchanger.
424  Economy / Gambling / Re: 👑 CoinRoyale.com - Original Bitcoin Casino | Trusted Since 2013 ✔️ on: January 01, 2024, 05:30:12 AM
I saw @Bitinity make a mistake in the last round and not completing the wagering requirements, I guess you bet all in on your last play? you only need 3mbtc wagered to qualify very unfortunate mate. @CR_Anders does this mean there will be a new tournament? tell us the clue and schedule Grin

I started the last round late, 4 hours before the event ended if I remember it correctly. Was spending my time more with family in vacation, so I just played blindly but too bad lose all my balance before completing the wager requirement when the there was only less than an hour for the last round. Actually I can make a deposit to complete it but I always stick to my plan, once I lose my balance = stop no matter what is the result. However I still made profit here from the 1st and 2nd round, not big but enough to spend it for vacation lol.

Playing without focus could result in a loss but still, if it was your lucky day, you could have won too  Wink

I really like that you stick to your game plan related to money management and no matter what happens, you do not deviate from it. New gamblers need to learn from this and they should only allocate certain deposits for the gambling and if lose the balance, should not be depositing more.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Know, But Can i Invest In Bitcoin? on: December 31, 2023, 09:11:37 PM
I am really glad to get valuable advice. Everyone provide good advices. I am concerned about several things from this topic. I will invest in Bitcoin but will take some time following those advice.

I have a lot more to learn about Bitcoin. In particular I will learn how to create my own Bitcoin wallet. I want to keep my own wallet secure. Because what I realised is that if I can't keep my wallet secure then what is the reason in holding bitcoins for short or long term. I want my small investment to be fully protected. Thanks to all who have already given their feedback and hope for better suggestions from others.

It won't take much to get yourself familiar with the Bitcoin wallets and how to protect your seed phrases and coins. I just hope that you do not find all this stuff too complicated that it stops you from investing in Bitcoin (I observed this from your above writing).

I do know but maybe it may be difficult for a person to understand all this stuff if he or she hasn't operated the computer and the same goes for a non-technical uneducated person. Two things can happen if such a person decides to invest in Bitcoin, either he gives up thinking it's too difficult or he may lose his coins as he may not get proper understanding.  Undecided
426  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 31, 2023, 08:26:45 PM
Hey @poorbot, I believe this platform you have is quite new to the most of the gamblers here, especially those who are using stake.com for their gambling needs which is the only target market.

Can you explain a bit as to why this new gambling platform poorbit.io would be new one for only the stake users and not the other sites' gamblers  Huh
Don't know what you wanted to say here ?

And I noticed that you are already running a signature campaign. I just want to ask, aren't you planning to run a "review campaign"? I believe this way it will be easier for the potential users to understand how beneficial it is using the platform based on actual users experience.
This is a good idea. The team should allocate some funds towards a review campaign geared towards quality members of the forum in order to attract gamblers after completing their signature campaign.

Do they really need a review campaign when the signature campaign is also in progress ? They can convince the signature participants to share their experiences at poorbot in this ANN thread and that can serve as a review too. Also, there is not any trend of having the gambling companies review campaigns as we have for the mixers.
427  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: AI x Crypto on: December 31, 2023, 08:04:41 PM
It is the new buzzword, so anything that happens now is not an indicator of what this will do in the next 10years. It is possible that with AI many things might change but we should not forget that AI is only getting buzzed now, it was existing and running on different apps and services for a long time.

AI will change the world and the mankind and you will find the world different from it is now. However, when it comes to the projects exclusively the crypto projects, many won't have nothing to do with AI but will be using the word "AI" to sell their products. The sad reality would be that the people buying the products/coins, won't actually know the true meaning of AI and these companies will sell them the Hype and not the product.

We have seem this happening with Defi, Meta Verse, Web 3 and now nothing different with the Artificial Intelligence. If only the retails became educated, these scammers wouldn't be enjoying free money  Huh
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling and religious restrictions on: December 31, 2023, 07:50:27 PM
Again, it is actually unethical to discuss the issue of gambling with religion and link it, remember that gambling is personal and so is religion, so it is very important for us to respect other people's views on rules and morals.  i am also a Christian and really respect other Christians who don't gamble because they think gambling is bad behavior, i never feel like i'm right, i just gamble without harming myself, my family and also other people because some radical Christians said that gambling destroys a person's personality and also destroys his life so in my opinion as long as the person is able to manage his gambling activities well then it is legal.

I guess you are not talking about gambling is legal or illegal rather we are discussing the status of gambling from the religious point of view.

In some religions if the gambling is prohibited but if the person is able to win in gambling and make enough money to feed  his family and become a useful person for the society still from the religious prospective he is doing a sin. When we talk about the religion we do not see the pros and cons of the rules of the religion, the religion is to be a obeyed without any excuses.
429  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: December 31, 2023, 06:09:11 PM

Hmm, I still doubt any support system can make our gambling problems go away. Well if someone is too addicted to it and only drifting towards the losses. For those who understand the systematic investment plans this is never an issue for anyone. I am into gambling since 7-8 years. Initial years I have spent gambling in william hills and corral outlets. Then the online gambling sites started rolling out when I was highly active in the crypto sphere. Basically bitcointalk introduced me to these gambling sites but I never got addicted because I always have clear mind, when to start and when to stop. Most of them look for easy money and thats where everything goes into direction. Its always better to slide into casino with tight budget and leave it as soon as thats exhausted or if there is some profit from it. Smiley

I really want to know if this platform of QuitGamble has been able to cure people's gambling addictions or can make them a responsible gambler ?
The site has been operational for quite some time and we need to have some stats as how effective is this approach.

However, i do believe that in order to cure gambling addiction one needs to have a mentor who has very close attention to the gambling addict.
Only a continuous follow-up and careful meditation, a gambling addict can be cured and become a normal ordinary gambler. Addiction can be because one needs to recover his losses and the other one maybe to get even more profits (in case the gambler is in winning mode and earning ).
430  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is WinTomato casino SCAM? on: December 30, 2023, 09:43:34 PM
I wouldn't say win tomato is a scam, but they have some strict rules about abusers, even those who claim the faucet too many times can get in trouble. Maybe they detect some kind of abuse in the affiliate engine and decide not to pay the whole amount or block the account. Not sure, we need more information to understand the full context.

I am not defending WinTomato, but if a casino has a strict policy against the abusers and those who do not follow the rules, we cannot classify the casino as a scam one, based on that. A casino has all the rights penalize the abusers of the system.

They dont give correct numbers of points which is necessary to collect to get bigger casino level.Like  example I should get for every 80 bets 1 level point but I get about 2x lower amount.I asked them in live chat,in telegram also and they just tell me again read your profile and they ignore me for forever, they just dont care. They are scamming people with giving less points for level so people need then invite more people more then expected to get higher level but higher level is good for faster betting. Also for getting level points from referral total amount of bets they dont have nothing written in their FAQ or TOS.

I don't buy this opinion that based on the points systems calculation you may call them a scam casino site. Maybe they have a different calculation method of calculating the points and that may not match with your understanding of calculation of points and the stages.
Tell me if they ever scam you with the money, not let you withdraw or are not fair in their games etc ?
431  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is the Different Between 1XBet and 1XBit? on: December 30, 2023, 09:28:02 PM
3. 1xbet is reputed and 1xbit is scammer

Most of the people including me, thought that 1xbet and the one 1xbit are the same and used interchangeably when they are not  Roll Eyes
Also it is thought that none of these two can be trusted but as you said, 1xbet is reputed. We don't have an ANN thread for 1xbet, do we ?

1xbet is licensed and 1xbit is not, that's the only difference. Both have a long history of selective scamming.

Now do we believe this one, that are doing scams  Huh Or is one ( 1xbet ) being a trusted one ?
Unless one is a player at those sites, only they may tell their experiences about 1xbet, i guess and it is difficult to believe that 1xbet is a reputed site unless one plays there regularly and never has been scammed.
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: So I guess we sell at $48626 ? on: December 30, 2023, 08:59:46 PM
why not wait for the price above 50k dollars. the price touched above 50k dollars is very easy. anyways next year there is a halving demand purchases will definitely go up high so the price of BTC will also be lifted very high.
halving or post halving bitcoin price is almost 100% sure to rise above 50K dollars

Every person has a strategy and achievement that will be their initial target when doing something that will make their plan work well enough, so I think it would also be quite logical for someone if they don't want to wait for the price of Bitcoin to be above $50K in the next year even though they already knowing there will be a Bitcoin halving moment next year.

That is the importance of distinguishing between long-term investors and short-term investors as well as traders who are always happy to sell when they see a profit. So there is no need to ask why not wait for a certain price level on Bitcoin if someone is selling it to secure the profit he has made through an investment he has run himself.

I agree that every person want to take profit out of thier investment in bitcoin but those who are holding bitcoin for long term should not be tempted to book profits at 48Kish area, even though there is strong resistance there and the bitcoin may reject badly form that level but it is not the 100% scenario, The ETF and the post Halving pump can be enough factors that may keep the bitcoin strongly pass this resistance.

Also, we are going to see the all time high in Bitcoin after the halving. so what is the point in selling out bitcoin now when one can sell them in excess of 100,000$ and beyond?
433  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 30, 2023, 08:52:30 PM
The token pumped two weeks ago and from today price, if altcoin season continues, you can x2 your capital by holding your $FUN token.

The token is an utility token and backed by Freebitco.in casino, it has a solid foundation in long term. I even think that the token might x4 from $0.006, today price if it can break the high two weeks ago. I agree with you that if we can hold it till 2024 and 2025, with a big altcoin season, we will have opportunities to gain good profit, more than x2 or x4.
Unfortunately, 2x to 4x profits can only be obtained by FUN Token holders who started buying this Token in 2023, while those who bought when Binace still had the BTC-FUN pair have not quite covered their losses, because Binance no longer provides the BTC-FUN pair and only USD-FUN, the price of this token continues to fall, which really affects freebitcoin members who took part in premium membership at the beginning of its launch because some people bought this token for around 100 Satoshi, and currently the price at this casino is only a dozen satoshi.

The price is going to hike but its not confirmed analogy. Thats the market is about and when it comes to coin like this things can be tricky. The FUN token is not used on mega level in the market or in short there is not much utility to it. I think FUN is only available as in play currency on couple of casinos if I have read it correctly. This means its use case is very small. For any token to get highly valued it needs to be circulating in the market heavily. Just having it locked up by millions of people and shortening its supply doesn't guarantee its value will rise.

On the other hand, those who bought FUN in the early days are not at loss entirely. I mean we have been blessing with WOF rewards and 25% APY too. That has atleast blessed us to reach near BEP or above it. But yeah it needs lot of hiking to reach to next level.

Even if we agree for a moment that the FUN prices won't rise much as much as we anticipate, or it will be one of those coins that will not perform well as compared to other altcoins (highly unlike though), still for the users of freebitco it will give enough ROI in the form of free staking returns and WOF.

I think it is too pessimistic view about the FUN token and the FUN token holders should not be worried about the current price of this token.
434  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: December 30, 2023, 04:26:30 PM
Most of the online gambling platforms don't share all the information about their team members, so I don't think that a person should only check the team before they decide if the platform is reputable or not. You also don't need to know much about the team behind a gambling casino in order to trust it with your money, it's all about the reputation and reputation is gained by staying in the market for sometime, that's why most casinos that have a good reputation have been around for quite some time already.

For sure, it is difficult to analyze the repute of the casino based on its team members, because no matter how much trusted the team is, still, i don't think it is a wise decision to only look out for the team in order to know about their repute.

The best way to know about the repute of the casino is to get feedback from the players of that casino. There are not many platforms where we may find the honest feedback of the players but we don't need to go anywhere for this information as bitcointalk gambling section is the perfect way to know about the status of the sites, and is it worth playing at any platform or not.
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 29, 2023, 05:49:48 AM
In the 2nd Test match of Australia vs Pakistan, Pakistan team scored 264 runs in 73.5 overs losing 10 wickets in 1st Innings. Australia team scored 318 runs in 96.5 overs losing 10 wickets. Australia team is leading by 241 runs.  Lyon took 4 wickets with 73 runs in 18.5 overs. Cummins took 5 wickets with 48 runs in 20 overs. Australia team bowlers Lyon and Cummins gave excellent performances which put Pakistan batsmen under pressure.
Australian International test cricket team is dominant on Pakistani team and Australian team will this match easily . Two days are remaining of 2nd test match between Australian International team and Pakistani International test cricket team. Australian should make a score of 350 runs and then they give batting to Pakistani International cricket team. Pakistani would not chase this type of big. They will all out by making only 150 runs and Australian International test cricket team has capacity to all team out on 150 runs . There is very tough time for Pakistani International cricket team. They should draw this match and practically that is not possible and Australian International cricket team will be victorious and they will lift the cup . And they deserve this.

Well, Pakistan have a good comeback in this test match. The real turning point in this test match for them was that after being all out at 264 runs, they managed to bowled out Australian team in 262 runs and this gave them a little over 300 runs target to chase in the final innings and win this test match. Thanks to Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mir Hamza who took four wickets each and let the Pakistan team back in the game.

They needed to have a good partnership in the fourth and final innings of this test. Shan Masood and Babar Azam, tried to bat out but they now have lost 5 wickets for 162 runs. Still they need 155 runs but we all know that the Pakistan batting collapse can happen at any time and Australia would be waiting it happens soon.
436  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: December 29, 2023, 05:21:56 AM
I agree with you Creating new casino need a lot of work including huge capital in the beginning the cost of the software itself and employee. New Casino is need huge marketing people and money sometimes you need to give the user jackpot to attract other user to join.

and you need implement KYC or AML to comply with government and so on.

We need to understand two things here. First, of all just like every other business owing a Bitcoin BTC casinos is a business in itself and not everyone is accepted to own and run a business.

But this does not mean that the new casino can't be open, or that they are not feasible to open. Many new casinos are opening and will continue to open and they will also follow all the AML/KYC processes and investors/businessmen have the capital too to run the casino. Everything is hard initially but those who pass through this phases, are also rewarded well.

Also, with all the competition in online gambling casinos, the new ones can still compete if they are honest, provide good services and have an adequate budget.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 29, 2023, 05:03:28 AM
Each gambler has varying habits regarding how much time they can spend in one gaming session. I tend to assume it depends on what game they are playing, while luck-based games like slots with auto-reels may keep them in the casino longer than skill-based games.

Personally, slots are a game that keeps me in the casino for more than 1 hour each session, unless I lose more quickly than I expected. But for some other games like dice or crash, I couldn't last longer than 15-20 minutes. Sports betting is a game that can save me a lot of time, it can even be done when we only have a little free time between other activities.

It depends on person to person and also on how much money one is willing to gamble with at a given time. The time usually does not matter as one can gamble with very little money on each game and even with a 10$, he may be able to play for hours and hours. On the other hand, if a gambler puts everything on one game or gamble with big amounts, he may get this money exhausted very quickly.

Also, in case of sports betting, you need to place bet and then wait for the match to finish. So practically you are in the gamble for a few hours until the game is finished, and the results are known and so do our bet is settled.
438  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 29, 2023, 04:41:13 AM
18 satoshis is still very low considering that it was around 45 satoshis when BTC price was around $45k in Sep 2021.
Right now BTC price is around $42k yet FUN token is still only 18 satoshis.
Even I have locked FUN tokens for a year and I hope the price recovers to atleast above 40 sats.

Well, I also noticed that when all other altcoins are making 2x, 3x or even more in the past one month, the price of FUN token hasn't surged much as compared to other altcoins. One reason could be that the gaming coins and the gambling coins are performing as that well as they are unable to gain hype in this market.

I still stick to my point of view that since the FUN token has a use case, in the form of freebitco, so as long as the site is there, we can believe in all the reasons that fun token may perform well sooner or later.

By the way, the Fun token is now 16 Satoshi's but let's keep our fingers crossed for the bull market.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 29, 2023, 04:25:48 AM
The hope of getting lucky will always be there because they still often gamble so they will not spend their days gambling. They may use the money from donations to gamble because there will be people who feel sorry for them and will give them some money to buy food. But if they instead use the money to gamble, that is disrespectful to the people who already sympathize with them. But it's up to them with the money and we don't know for sure either.

I thought that if someone is mentally unstable, people will not donate anything to him directly, rather they may donate to his family or to the charitable organization, if any, who is taking care of him. So if some how he has direct access to the donation money, there is some serious flaw in the whole eco system that needs to be addressed.
We would not want the donation money to be wasted in this way.

And the security at the betting shop always allows that person to gamble so that he will continue returning when he wants to gamble. He may continue like that until he finally wins and if there is an update about that person's story, we will all be happy to know how the story continues.

The gambling shop cares more about the money they are getting from the gambler and they may not care of this health and mental status of the gambler. As long as he is depositing, they are happy with him. That's a sad reality but the truth about some of the physical gambling casinos.
440  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: are there any bitcoin faucets nowadays !! on: December 28, 2023, 03:17:49 AM
There's still bitcoin faucets existing till now and you can reach the withdrawal limit although it may take some time before you reach it but it is not impossible to do so. Anyway, I don't think you should focus on faucets as it takes a long time before you can get it even though it's free compared to buying your own crypto. As other forum members have said, it is much better of you buy BTC rather than spending your time earning BTC in faucets which I also consider it as a waste of time.

As far as i know only the reliable bitcoin faucets these days is available at freebitco and it will pay you hourly but the amount of satoshi you get there is very low and there is no need to waste of faucets these days. But the good thing about that is it is running so so many years and it never stopped or dried up. Other than freebitco's faucet, i do not know any bitcoin faucet running for the long term at the moment.

Unfortunately with Bitcoin price up at the moment, I don't think we have any platforms out there to load up coins to give out freely especially that there could be a threat of being hacked and ransacked , though one name that still comes up in this niche is Freebitco one of the oldest faucets around... otherwise it's a waste of time doing this these days, just my opinion..

How is bitcoin price up is an Unfortunate thing and if the bitcoin price is down, then faucet paying more is a fortunate thing  ? Roll Eyes
