421  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc value rising why? on: July 21, 2017, 01:48:14 PM
it is rising because there is a lot of demand for bitcoin, and all of this demand has been waiting because they were uncertain, and that was only because of FUD and nothing else.

but when the reality was shown to them and they realized the FUD was pure bullshit they rushed to buy before they fall behind. and that meant a sharp rise that you saw and now are surprised about.

it is like a spring that you release after pressing it hard. it jumps up far.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bip91, lockin by 90%. on: July 21, 2017, 01:36:31 PM

LOL, do you even know what a "SOFT FORK" means. i seriously doubt that.
at least put some efford and do a little research and learn what the words you are using really mean.
and while you are at it search for the previous forks that bitcoin had to feel even more stupid for saying what you have been repeating all these days Cheesy

and the links you are posting are about a very different and irrelevant thing.
423  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin is a rat poison? on: July 20, 2017, 06:43:27 AM
but bitcoin IS rat poison. and it is not a bad thing. you just have to figure out what does "rat" mean Cheesy

in this case bitcoin can potentially kill banks and banking system which makes them the rat. which is why we are seeing this much attack on bitcoin. i somethimes wonder how much of the delays for scaling bitcoin with SegWit were caused by these rats because they felt threatened.
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's Vision: What would Satoshi do? on: July 20, 2017, 06:35:10 AM
it really doesn't matter how many times you repeat the same script of calling "CW=Satoshi" and then call his bullshit as "Satoshi's vision", in the end we are getting SegWit and CW and his shills can bite the dust.

even if you fill the whole internet with this script, we -the bitcoin community- will not forget his scam.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase won't support UAHF/Bitcoin ABC on: July 20, 2017, 05:57:23 AM
bitmain is just wasting their time if they go through with it! unless it is just a publicity stunt to scare BIP148 supporters.

this thing has no support and will never gain any support.
there are 2 groups of people, those who understand things and those who don't.
the first group won't go for it because they understand. and the second group won't because they will go with what core devs (who they have been trusting for years gives them not what a known scammer called CW with his nChain pretends to give them)
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH becoming the biggest leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin has no future. on: July 20, 2017, 05:43:34 AM
Yes it is becoming the biggest leading cryptocurrency in total number of hacks and exploits. their MAIN client was hacked recently and the hacker stole 32 million dollar ethereum.

how many is that now, like the 20th hack or something leading to multi million dollar loss!
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Big Blockers to Fork Off, THANK GOD on: July 19, 2017, 07:09:05 AM
i am very interested to know if they are really going to go through with that or is it just threats to scare people, specially the UASF thing!

when i think about it, forking like this can not be wise nor profitable for them. their fork will surely never gain any decent support no matter what. no support means low price. and with the huge difficuly of bitcoin it is already hard for miners to make money and if their Forked coin value is very low they can never sustain it.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what stops miners from increasing the block reward? on: July 19, 2017, 06:32:28 AM
nothing they can do whatever they want and change whatever they like, miners or anybody else.

but when you change something it will not be bitcoin unless it can get majority of the networks's support.

For example if tomorrow miners did this change and everyone accepted it, being the nodes, exchanges, services, ... it will be the new bitcoin.
but nobody will ever accept these changes so it will become an altcoin. an altcoin like the other 5000 altcoins that we have a lot of them are forks of bitcoin changing stuff like supply, reward, block size, block time,....
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: July 19, 2017, 06:22:38 AM
bitcoin in the context you are suggesting is an investment for them, which means it has nothing to do with their unemployement in my opinion. there are many of them who invest in a lot of different things like stocks and gold. and bitcoin has found its way into their portfolio in the past couple of years.

although in some cases (which i believe is rare) some people start businesses with bitcoin and give up their "employment". that is a different scenrario, and is the best because it helps the bitcoin economy.

it is best that you and your sister start thinking about the second part, starting a business.
430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin dip below 2000 again before Aug 1? on: July 19, 2017, 06:08:10 AM
your poll is misleading because it is not asking the same question as your topic subject!
a correction is always going to happen. it happened yesterday when price reached $2400ish and started dropping down. that small drop down is the correction and it will always happen.

dip below $2000 however is not a correction it is a massive dump. and i don't think it will happen again. depending on how much rise we are going to see in the upcoming days price may never go below $2000 and even if a dump happens it will be much smaller this time.
431  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee: Bitcoin will go above 500k $ in 3 years on: July 19, 2017, 05:57:49 AM

Seriously you believe it and then even post it, such posts are to be ignored at the onset, think logically 500k, how in the world would it be even be possible. Even if you assume some major news comes then also it's not at all possible to achieve it. I am sure he was smoking some high quality weed or meth who knows, as it's looking with August 1st event neutralized we can see 3.5k by the year end logically. But again it depends on many factors.

maybe you are right but i would never be skeptical of any price for bitcoin ever in my life. because simply when price was low around $10 everyone were saying the same as you when someone predicted $1000
then 2-3 years ago when price was dropping down from GOX ATH down to $200-$180 people were saying the same thing as you when someone predicted recovery and $3000
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop listening to FUD if you want to succeed... on: July 18, 2017, 01:44:31 PM
I agree that FUD is a part of this market but i think we can lessen the effects of it by making others aware of its existance and helping them understand things better.

i personally prefer a stable market with less fluctuations rather than a wild swings up and down, even if it means less profits like the past 3 days.

the stability will help us make a lot more profit in the long term. the stability helps the real adoption in real world which means those numbers like 100K and 500K to come true. and stop being a silly unreachable targets.
433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bitcoin Price going to rise smoothly now or will dip again before 1 Aug? on: July 18, 2017, 01:33:50 PM
it is very hard to say. the FUD was defeated and people now know the reality of the fork so the price is rising.
there is still a couple of things that may change and go wrong so the risk has not gone away completely but this risk has always been there and nothing about it has changed. the exagerated FUD has just stopped.

which is why i say there may be some wild swings, not as big as before but still wild, in the future.

but i agree that the total trend will be UP
434  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What the hell is going on with C-Cex??? on: July 18, 2017, 04:36:11 AM
i don't understand 1 thing, you say you never had any account in c-cex and never used it and then say your password is strong and long! you had a c-cex account or not!!!

anyways, you can find the owner on bitcointalk if you want, they have a topic here and the account name is c-cex.

also consider the possibility that you received a phishing email if you didn't have a c-cex account! don't click on any of its links you may have infected your computer if you did...

@HI-TEC
c-cex.com and cex.io are two different exchanges.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What could possibly go wrong? (Segwit) on: July 18, 2017, 04:10:27 AM
I'm surely missing something here. I'm literally ready to drain my bank accounts on the 31st of July, wait a few weeks and sell enough BTC to cover my expenses - surely leaving me with a large amount of BTC as profit?

yes you have missed quite a bit actually.
instead of overthinking things and reading the FUD script online you should have done what i did, stop listening to FUD and buy bitcoin.
what you missed was cheap coins at the bottom. now you can see only price rise. there may be a smaller version of the drop soon but this is officially the end of the FUD dump and start of the rise..... like always...

if you really did drain your bank and invested in bitcoin you would have made 20% profit in couple of days and still rising.
436  Economy / Speculation / Stop listening to FUD if you want to succeed... on: July 18, 2017, 03:52:30 AM
almost all my orders below $2000 were filled in the past few days and now we are up again and rising.
sadly the last part of my comment did not come true so i didn't have to borrow mony to buy ultimate cheap coins but i am still glad i did so.

i just have 1 thing to say:
once again i closed my eyes and ears on FUD and started using my brain. and now i have made a lot of profit. i am not rubbing it in, just saying others need to do the same instead of reading bullshit comments saying price will fall to $200 and wait for that to come, or worse to panic sell.

my money is finally ready. i was waiting for it for some time in order to invest it in bitcoin and now everything seems to be working in the universe to let me buy bitcion at cheaper price so i am happy it took some time for my money to come back in my hands.

i have already bought some bitcoin yesterday and i have placed some more buy orders right below $2000, maybe i get lucky. all of these are going straight to my cold storage for the end of August when price is testing $3500 for the first time.

my plan is to borrow money if price goes lower. if something like $1500 happens i will do it without hesitation.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will you sell your BitcoinABC or hold on to it? on: July 18, 2017, 03:43:46 AM
if you someday split bitcoin i will probably stop using it completely. because i simply believe that bitcoin is the reliable cryptocurrency as long as it is one chain and things like consensus mean something in it. and a split only happens when there is no consensus hence bitcoin would no longer be reliable in my opinion.
438  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin hit the lowest? 1)before 21july 2) 21july-1au 3)after 1 august on: July 17, 2017, 04:51:05 AM
the drop has slowed down significantly and as history proves these things always happen like this when price changes a lot but a long time before the dates people are waiting for. in this case Aug 1. and then they stop.

for now i say we are nearing the stop point and there will probably be some small rise (bull trap probably) and then back to around $1900 again.

if the signalling that is going to start soon reaches the high support promised, there is a very good chance of the start of a price rise with a big bear trap in the start of it and a good leg up above $2200 for starters.
439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will the bitcoin ecosystem learn anything from the August crash? on: July 17, 2017, 04:21:43 AM
no, nobody will learn anything ever!!!

do you think this is the first "crash" that bitcoin experienced?
the previous one is not even old yet!!! it was about 4 months ago (maybe a little more) that the first FUD about fork started and price crashed down to $880 from that time ATH.
and the market is falling for the same thing all over again.

as an individual if you learn a lesson and try to take advantage of stupidity of others you are the winner. and that's all that matters. let them lose money maybe that can teach them a lesson.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After Aug 1st and SegWit on: July 17, 2017, 04:12:11 AM
I wouldnt put any more money into the market as right now it is on a downward trend and will continue until August.

it won't continue until then.
because for the most part, these things never go until exactly their dates. they start at least 2 months before the date and end usually a month before or at least 2-3 weeks before that date.

also in a couple of days things will be clear. miners are slowly starting to signal for SegWit and by a couple of days the real support will be clear and when it is big and above 90% everyone will realize what a big mistake they have made and start FOMO buying bitcoin.

at that time you wish you bought at least something at $1960
