How to assign them to special cores?
I just know -t number
Don't worry about cores for now, you can optimize that later. What hash rate are you getting with 3 threads? If not at least 150 something is wrong.

My CPU is Ivy Bridge with AES-NI. It's an i7 3630QM. But maybe 6 MB L3 Cache isn't enough.
With 6 MB cache you want 3 threads. With more or fewer threads you will probably get a worse hash rate. (Fewer might still be okay if you are using the computer or want to reduce heat though.) Should be around 180 w/3 threads. I wanna try GPU's. They are cheaper to buy and are more usable. You can extend them easy. And the power consumtion wouldn't be much more than CPU's.
Is there no hardware camparison list? What do you guys use for mining and what's the hashrate of it?
The workhorse of GPU mining for Monero has been 750ti, with a hash rate of around 200-250 (depends on model). Many other GPUs can be used, but I'm not sure there is an up to date hardware list.

I use an i7 quadcore CPU and "only" get 60-80 H/s. Sure there are faster ones... but I've seen GPU's with 500 H/s.
So I'm sure GPU's are much faster. But which one is the fastest? R9 390 with 8GB Ram?
Or are there even ASICS for Cryptonight?
Your i7 must be old without AES-NI. The new ones get 250 H/s or so. There are no ASICs. The fastest server CPUs (many $K) are probably >1000 H/s. I don't know what the fastest GPUs can do.

It's BBR's move as the clock has ticked over to the next day. I don't have a program to create a chessboard, so just this for now: 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Qxd4 a6 5.c4 Nc6 6.Qe3 g6 7.Nc3 Bg7 8.Be2 Nf6 9.O-O O-O 10.h3 Nd7 11.b3 Nc5 12.Bb2 f5 13.exf5 Bxf5 14.Rad1 Qa5 15.Rd2 Rf6 16.Nd5

What's this? The logo for DarkSilk? Mathematical proof of security for ShadowSend. As long as D is quadruple-phase equivalent to 8, then the system is proven secure. I bet you didn't know Wheatclove was a cryptographer did you? Prove Shadowsend is insecure to the point of it being unsuable and you might be taken half seriously! Until then, to look at that post and make from it what you have puts you in the same category as this idiots whole thread. Conjecture, defamation, ridiculous correlations, from two very unwell individuals. Good job lowering yourself publicly smooth, although I already knew you were as stupid as this tool wanderlust, perseus, and child-harold. You just chose to post and remove all my doubts.

Variance shouldn't matter much, unless by "small" you mean "infinitesimal".
Agree. There are still going to be 720 blocks per day. With 0.14% of the network hash rate you will average a block per day.

block reward 100 times what it is now.
200x. The coinbase is 5 DASH but only 2.5 of that is miner reward. The rest goes to masternodes (interest) or to developers (by voting)

Just another HYIP..wondering how long this will last..lol
Too low trading volumes, you need a lot more I'd have thought the opposite. The higher the throughput of a HYIP, the more "interest" you need to find from somewhere, and so the less able you are to meet your obligations in a timely manner. It's all very well to say that any shortfall will be made up from staking, but that fails to take into account just how long it takes to earn a 25% return on the total throughput when only part of a single deposit (and possibly the operator's 2% fee on all throughput) is staking at any given time. Currently the stake rate is over 4% per month so staking 25% wouldn't really take that long. Were it not for the risk of exit fraud this doesn't seem like a bad idea. You get the ponzi/gambling appeal of possibly getting paid back sooner and an expected payment in several months. If claims continue at a high rate than the 4% will drop rapidly, so it could take longer, but even so 25% should be achievable from staking, probably. But the risk of exit fraud with an unknown operator on a newly registered newbie account is nearly 100%. EDIT: Correction, this won't work because as dooglus correctly pointed out most of the investment will already be paid out to earlier investors (thus not available to stake). Just a pozni. Avoid.

This is a complex position! I am still trying to decide between Nd5 and Rdd1. Yes I agree. Another possible move is Ng5. It totally blocks Re6 but leads to more complex positions and I couldn't figure it out. Nd5 seemed safer, if still complex. Maybe not the best reason for a move though... I was joking about not discussing future moves. I expect Re6 Qf4 to follow. Then I have no idea but I don't see danger for us as we have plenty of places to move the queen if needed.

AWS and Azure instances are expensive, there is no way someone wastes thousands of dollars...
Nice try. LOL. On the free tier you get almost no hash rate.

Shen is a student if I read Monero's FAQ correctly. So I think that he can spend more time to implement RingCT faster. I hope that we can fund his development when he is ready.
There is implementation and there is deployment, which are two different things. I could see it getting deployed to testnet much faster than the main network though.

|
|
There is enough commonality in that portion of the code (virtually identical) that if it were implemented in one it could easily be added to the other coin too if the developer and/or community wants it.

I wasn't referring to Bitcoin. I was specifically referring to altcoin pumps. Some of us are totally uninterested in altcoin pumps. I agree that if you want to make money here short term, that's probably all there is. You can do an ICO and built applications somewhere outside, while ignoring what the speculative market does, sure, but 99% of your target market for the ICO is still probably going to be interested in altcoin pumps, so you are somewhat delusional if you don't recognize that's still the market you are in (i.e. that's still all there is). I hope the use of the term 'your' is figurative and not literal. It was mostly general, directed at the entire market. If someone is targeting users of this forum then chances are the audience is altcoin investors/speculators. If another audience is to be pitched for a crowdsale (for example social media users, gamers, mobile users via an app, etc.), then it might not apply. Crypto Kingdom is an interesting middle ground. Despite being pitched on this forum, some people putting money into it are certainly gamers and highly interested in the gameplay elements. Others are very likely viewing it more as speculation. I don't know the proportions. I am trying to beat my 335,000 verified websites with Coolpage in 2001. Internet is 10x larger, so thus my minimum goal is 3+ million real users (not just one-transaction wonders who've since abandoned it). Who knows if I can achieve that (huge doubt at this point with only vaporware). Bitcoin isn't even that large now.
Wishing you the best on your effort.

What software do i need to use to mine Aeon with now. I'm running Windows 10 64bit pro using Amd cards have one 7990 and one 7770
Still pretty experimental. I guess once these latest issues get resolved we'll have a new build to use. Until then unless you are prepared to build it yourself you'll have to wait a bit.
