441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anonymous exchanges? on: March 12, 2018, 03:58:23 PM
What reliable exchanges are there which do not require to submit personal information?

I have a few altcoin (clam, bch, btg) which I want to exchange into Bitcoin, but I don't want to give out my data.

I'm not looking to convert to fiat, just between the coins.

Any suggestions? It doesn't have to be a full blown trading site, just a fair and quick exchange.

Anonymous exchanges are too risky if they are not well known and established, using shapeshift or changelly may save your time and effort by simply depositing minimum amount of coins to the given addresses to convert desired coins however if you can search their reviews and overall reputation you can see that there are tons of complaints and technical concerns about their platforms, anyways use them at your own risk, you can easily navigate the conversion by using coinpayments website or waves platform, waves are decentralized wallet and exchange.
442  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook bans ads for cryptocurrencies on: March 12, 2018, 09:24:59 AM
FacebooK may be working on digital encrypted money itself!

Facebook's decision to ban encrypted ads may be aimed at eliminating competition!
Not just to eliminate the competition but to avoid their users to invest in a scam ICO's, if you own big platforms like Facebook you have to protect your own clients from engaging in the ICO that is a potential Ponzi scheme, some pages are still allowed to share their contents to advertise in a non
spammy way, but I heard that some ICO pages and Facebook users banned because of sharing a spammy advertisement from a shady ICO projects.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin / Ethereum Way Down Today... Time to Buy? on: March 11, 2018, 04:49:06 PM
If I correctly understood your question, you are interested in the way of saving your investments now.
I think that now the best option for investments is going into "cash" and diversifying the portfolio with new projects (ICO). All altcoins are at risk of falling during the bear market.
But 80 - 95% of ICO's are too risky to diversify, some of them are scams, abandoned, unsuccessful and totally useless I'm not generalizing all the ICO out there cause there are legit with a potential to grow in the market when the coin and the products released, bitcoin and top altcoins are the best to include in your portfolio because they have already the capitalization, product, community and history throughout the crypto market though you still have to filter them out to pick the best altcoin.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is encrypted digital money real money? on: March 11, 2018, 04:30:22 PM
While anyone thinks that's the real money(meaning that you can exchange digital money into food, car, house, bed, etc.) - it's real money.
But if none of us can give you something for your coins - that's not real money, just data.
The government and it's people will decide whether we're gonna use this as a form of money or not, don't need to debate and prove if its real cause if a large group of persons, businesses, companies and big personalities made a perspective and agreement that it is money gonna use it as a currency and asset, then the talk is over, it is like PayPal, debit and credit cards which is the money over a machine or a system they recognized it then it is the money over their platforms.
445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beyond bitcoin on: March 11, 2018, 04:01:53 PM
The encryption monetary fund founder and virtual currency veteran investor George dong said, while the currency is still maintained a bull trend, but in other virtual currencies there are still a lot of opportunities, some of them even unknown.

George dong says there must be a cryptocurrency in the next three to five years that can outperform bitcoin.

The market value and price of cryptocurrency have also changed dramatically with the increasing number of cryptocurrency participants.

Which currency do you think will surpass bitcoin in the future?
there's tons of cryptocurrency that outperform the bitcoin in terms of its features and usages but to outperform it from the wide variety of support, community and adaptation it is still the best in terms of the given points, bitcoin loses its dominance from 80 to 41% given by the growing numbers of the coins every day, however, its too early to say that three to five years from now there will be a coin that surpasses bitcoin, let that coin outperform the strong community and whales that backing the bitcoin.
Anyways I can't find any links that are related to this statement via google, can you provide us any valid source of information about this article or statement from George dong?
446  Economy / Economics / Re: FINANCIAL TIPS on: March 11, 2018, 03:42:58 PM
This steps are really easy to do but sadly only a few people follow it. Most of the people would by expensive stuff just to look rich but in reality they have no money. The other way around with rich people i know, most of them live simply but have millions of money.

The reality strikes in, I remember one lady who bought an expensive android phone which is shocking cause she is not that rich, not to judge the person but she gambles a lot which you can see on the lifestyle of the people then suddenly they are carrying such an expensive thing, I asked her how did she buy that device, surprisingly it is a loan, the reality is that some people would prioritize to choose their wants rather than their primary needs and savings just to follow what is the trend.
447  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable? on: March 10, 2018, 04:51:41 PM
I am pretty much interested to know how many people here uses bitcoin because of it's system, because of the anonymous and the security it provides, and because of the fact that it is really easy to transact over the internet, and there's no one who can just block your account(unlike paypal, a platform
It really depends on the platform that you are using to utilize your own bitcoin and altcoins wallets cause if your going to use online wallets and Exchanges mostly if they're following the protocol of the KYC policy, there's a chance that your account might get a block or get freeze, that will depend on the violation that you made. That feature that your talking about applies only to the wallets that provide a private key, seed phrase and other forms of wallet recovery.

So, are you guys using bitcoin because of it's nature, or because it's a financial tool of making money?

I will go for the both of them but the number one reason is the nature of it, I can send and control my coins without tons of restriction and manipulation made by the banks and the government.
448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your Trading process? Tips and anything? on: March 10, 2018, 04:05:15 PM
Questions  for I want to know for trading

1. What are the strategies of long term trading in:

-Bitcoin ?
and
-Altcoin?
Long term of holding for bitcoin is already tested by ages, don't need to think for any complicated strategies if your going for a long-term the only thing you need to do is to wait for the potential dip, buy lot's of bitcoin (depends on your budget) secure your bitcoins with an offline wallet in a cold storage devices, stay away from any news or websites that broadcast bitcoins current price.
Altcoin needs a lot of research and potential to determine what are the coins that worth keeping or holding for, I usually pick coins who are already established and tested in the market or community, I have a simple strategy but it gets complicated when it comes with the research and trust.
449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your most reliable crypto source? on: March 10, 2018, 03:15:22 PM
I use a lot of social media and bitcointalk of course, but where do you get the most up to date crypto news?
Aside from Twitter, Facebook and other forms of social media that have any discussion, resources and the latest news from cryptocurrency, I'm also using Steemit and Telegram group chats and bots pertaining to crypto, be careful though as they are not filtered to give reliable sources of information and facts about it, some of the social media groups, pages, and chats can spread misinformation of sources to people, make it sure it is reliable or atleast it is the official page of the person or page that your seeking for.
450  Economy / Economics / Re: Will this BTC price hold and does it indicate bull market yet? on: March 09, 2018, 03:00:03 PM
Bitcoin is range trading on very thin volume. There is no big news to force it back into a bull phase. Perhaps a bloodbath in the stock market later this year when interest rates rise might do it - but for the moment, we appear to be stuck.
blood bath will always happen in the unpredictable market of the crypto cause this week it dumps from 11k to 9k USD, but the price decrease is so much from its former price of 20k USD even most of the altcoins took its consequences of the bitcoins decline to its price, hoping that this crash will end and the price surge will meet its peak of rocket again.

Let me peek into my crystal ball and tell you what my charts predict for the weather.... Roll Eyes
what did you saw from your crystal ball of prediction? let me check coinmarketcap.com my crystal ball for the present crypto pricing with the help of my computer and internet.
451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Reduce to $ 4000? on: March 09, 2018, 02:38:45 PM
According to some sources, Binance was hacked just to hide the sale bitcoin of the Japanese (mt.gox) ( ~800k BTC ). If there are more information about the hacking exchange. Then, BTC breaking below 4xxx, maybe 2k5, I think the best way : u should to sell all your BTC, altcoin. All exchange will die. Thats' the second mt.gox. ***Attention from now until 7/4/2018.
The Chinese exchange is not easy to hack. If so, it is deliberate......
Full article read the full article from their support page so that you may what is the hacking attempt from their exchanges all about if that is the real reason, why binance will let the mt.gox to sell bulks of bitcoin that will result to crash it? that is a questionable amount of coins with questionable price cause most of the exchange's platform will halt your account cause that's a load of money dumping.

Bitcoin starts to drop again. But i still believed on bitcoin. And i don't think bitcoin will drop until $4000. I hope bitcoin will recover again in the coming days.
If bitcoin will fall $4000 that would be the cheap bargain sale for all of us, see the picture as a big opportunity to earn more from the investments once btc will hit 20k again.
452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao: ‘All Funds Are Safe’ on: March 09, 2018, 02:22:59 PM
The cryptocurrency exchange, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao announced the irregular trades have been determined and will be reversed.
Read more here: Binance CEO Changpeng
I heard this news in 36 hours ago but current fluctuation is not depends on the Binance hacking problem. Today bulk of Bitcoin is selling suddenly it is affected in total crypto market so this price fluctuation is continued in one or two days because bulk of coins are out from the one place but once it will placed automatically every problem is solved.
One of the possible reason why bitcoin and most of the altcoins are falling because of the Mt.Gox trustee if I'm not mistaken for this selling schemes, panic selling from their trustee and I heard that they are selling a bunch of bitcoins to pay all their debts from the hacking incident, other possible reasons is because of the fud's spreading from the binance stealing incident and exchanges regulations, good thing binance actions are fast to freeze the accounts of the hackers, kudos with the team behind them.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS JOINING BOUNTY MORE PROFITABLE THAN JOINING AN ICO? on: March 09, 2018, 07:30:41 AM
I think a good ICO can produce an amazing profit, but bounties are far lower risk because you aren't investing your own money upfront.
It depends on the ICO itself cause some of them are scams and useless, they are pretending to be good in order to attract investors, the risk you can get from the bounty if your lucky to join a scam project is that it wastes your time and effort for the promotion of their platform which is annoying and frustrating to see your efforts are in vain.

I think that if youo don't want to spend money in ICO, bounty is the most profitable way to make some serious gain....even if you have to work hard for that...

As the OP stated some ICO did not launch or allocated any bounty campaigns here but got successful in their crowdsale as well the price when they hit exchanges, we know the risk but you can lessen it by conducting proper research and understanding as well as the background check for their teams. You may miss big opportunities.
454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price decreases 1000$ within a hour on: March 09, 2018, 07:21:35 AM
if you can invest for long term you can see in future bitcoin will go very high and decrease of 1000$ is very rare.
It's not rare actually it is normal in the crypto world, some of the coins will go beyond the crash that leaves no value at all for just 1 day of its cycle, bitcoin loses almost 10k plus USD over a weeks of its dump so that's a normal scenario for their fluctuations in additions of FUD's and negative news about it.

wow that is a BIG dip  .any reason why the latest dip?
Binance Phishing and attempted stealing, regulations, banning, FUD's and false news from the selfish people to buy cheap bitcoins at dip then the cycle repeats to double their earnings
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Too many people think ETH wave down in February because China on: March 08, 2018, 04:51:09 PM
The upcoming February 15 is China's New Year. Many people think that ETH would therefore another wave down, even propaganda to fall to $ 600 $ 700. This is a frightening news. Regardless of whether the news is true, I still believe that because many people sell ETH in exchange for CNY. Cause a little fluctuation, do you think so?
$600 to 700 USD worth of ETH is not a bad amount price mostly if you are an investor and holder last year, check the price last November, it ranges from 200 to 300 USD goes up to 1300 plus then it goes down 750, your still gaining from the price decreases as you can buy cheap ETH even bitcoin from this events.

I hope you are wrong. There has been too much FUD lately and the market cant seem to stay on the upward trend for 2 days in a row. 1 days it goes up and and then falls immediately on the 2nd Huh
Just don't listen to them, they are quite annoying as they are spreading the same sentences and accusations against cryptocurrency over and over  again from the past year's, there's nothing new from their gimmicks just treat it as an opportunity to buy more ETH, it is proven that crypto has a lot of gains mostly from the established coins from the top.
456  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto threatens Bank of America? on: March 08, 2018, 03:45:04 PM
any bank in any country will surely feel threatened by crypto presence, since many of its customers are switching to bitcoin investments. and the bank will experience decline in assets in currency circulation. with the existence of this bitcoin the banks always give a warning (prohibition against bitcoin).
Worst scenario some of our local banks forces some accounts to close and block why? cause the hard made money is from bitcoin and other forms of cryptocurrency if they've detected that your depositing quite amount of money through their bank then the source is from cryptocurrency, they will close your bank account without any notice or warnings from them, they will not listen to your valid points, the bank will just say I'm sorry but your money is from bitcoin we have no choice but to close your account, stupid reasonings at all they feel threatened but they are not doing their job to keep the money safe from the manipulation, instead they will use their authority to supress their competitors.
457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ❗ Attention Binance users ❗ on: March 08, 2018, 10:56:58 AM
This is too bad, cause I have just started out with Binance though I have no coins there at the moment. But I am beginning to loss hope in exchange  Embarrassed, it seems non are really lasting. Its either one story or the another. If this is true, then I hope the CEO fix it immediately but if not; we truly hope it never happens. Cause some news are still saying the information is a rumour.
Don't need to worry about that read the twitter announcement from the binance devs and you will be fine as long as your truly securing your account following the safety and basic precaution against hacking, by the way, the hacking took its place from the bots based on the rumors but the support page shows that it is an attempted Phishing and stealing incident so hackers used API keys VIA/BTC.

they handled it fast and in a great way , everybody has their money back the same day. they showed a lot of exchanges how to handle things like this.
Yes they've handled the stealing incident with a haste to stop the withdrawals and the hackers own coins they truly deserve that.

459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If BTC hits $50,000, what price will Bitcoin Cash be? on: March 04, 2018, 07:28:21 PM
BCH has been relatively steady between 13-20 percent of BTC. Time will tell if people begin to grow tired of BTC's tx costs - if so we could see BCH fly past its current pegged percentage
there's no assurance that it will forever be steady with that percentage of the price and ranges cause remember last year where BCH pumps up to 2k USD where the former price ranges from 200 to 500 USD then the opposite happens with bitcoin it dumps almost to like a mountain cliff then some groups of individuals, as well as the mainstream, started to spread FUD's and false news that bitcoin cash is the real bitcoin and the current bitcoin is just a bubble, spam transactions attack to bitcoin where most of the fees are so low that makes the network overloaded which results to high fees and slow confirmations.
460  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what if faced with such a situation and what your backup plan is on: March 04, 2018, 07:18:36 PM
whether you have a backup plan if you are involved in trade issues, such as significant price reductions or down too far, and there are two options that exist in your view between holding or selling them, each having different risks, holding back and expecting prices to back to normal but I think it will take a long time or sell it and accept the loss and then buy it back with the sales you have generated.
maybe you some better advice you can give me.
i appreciate everyone's opinion.
Trading needs tons of confidence to deal with this kind of decision when the time comes that price flow is unexpected to occur throughout our plans and strategy, you must gain confidence on a specific coin in order to hold it tight with a smile on your face and you know everything is fine and I believe this coin will bounce back because I know this coin has a great foundation, potential, usage, long-term, authenticity, decent and well-known team as well as established supporters and community, otherwise the odds of holding useless coin is very high and more likely that it's just only a short term investment.
