The only innovative alt-coins have been PPCoin (first PoS) and Primecoin (first scientifically useful hash). All the others could be written by any script kiddie. Having said that, Litecoin, Novacoin and Digitalcoin all have a persistent following.

mechs: your signature doesn't fit on my screen properly. I don't know if you changed the bbcode slightly, or why it happened. Here's how it looks to me:

Maybe it's a result of the theme I'm using, and it looks fine to everyone else, I don't know. But I've seen other people who have copied the signature code I made and their signatures look just like mine.
It also doesn't fit for me on the standard theme. Odd, it shows up fine on my screen - I will make some changes What is your horizontal screen resolution? Does it still not show up well? Still looks like crap to me, how is mine! XD Tiny!

Do you have a forum name before July 7,2013 when you registered? Also, this "gigagold" being transferred directly to fiat means you are now breaking two american laws (and some other nations): 1. You are operating as an unlicensed MTB 2. You have removed the last shroud of protection from US anti-online gambling laws by equating gigagold with fiat functionally on your site
Just curious how you do not plan to end up in jail? Even if your servers are located outside of the US, unless you purposely exclude US players, you will run afoul of their laws.
Whole thing seems batshit crazy. The other btc gambling sites already in the grey zone enough and may be cracked down on eventually, but you are so flagrantly violating US laws with how you are structing this venture it seems you to want to go to jail or have not really thought this through at all.

Why would vaporware affect the price of BTC?
|

This was cool
Fees 0.001 BTC
I really like the part where fee is 0.001 BTC on a $1 M transaction. I prefer the part where he can send all that money without any question The questions come when the receiver attempts to convert it to Fiat.

We did not anticipate the loads of responses and votes after the removal of these coins. So we have decided to go ahead and upgrade the server's resources to support more coins, hoping to see more activity with each coin, rather than to regret purchasing upgrades. The short term goal would be to get every coin we support, to support us back. Not necessary with donations, which are appreciated, but more through recommendations. It would be nice to have at least 1 store per coin to support its own coin, as well as maybe accept other coins. We have added 3 new stores just within the starting of this thread of the coin removals. Might not be a completely connected event, but its like "You don't know what you've got till its gone." With the new server update we did not want to fork out more than what we need so now we will add the removed coins back to the poll/vote and allow the addition of 5 to 6 coins. Depending on the actual support and outcome of the voting and responses that will determine the 5 or 6.
We will re-do the thread and post updated link here once the server's have gotten the upgrade, (merchant's shouldn't experience any real downtime) should be added by the end of the day and the votes can start over with the new server upgrades ready to go and accept the demand for the coins that we were apparently oblivious to the fact of its demand. lol
Shew, so glad I did not have to self-immolate. Will put the gasoline back in my car's tank.

And actually, as an addendum to all of my other points, I'm a little pissed at the Bitcoin Foundation anyway, because they just blew any lead we had on Bitcoin adoption by the "regular" people out there. Government will realize quickly that they need to poison public perception, and they're pretty damned handy in that area.
Look out for the coming campaigns (after they've exhausted the initial hands-off regulation honeymoon period) where Bitcoin is demonized for being the "currency of Edward Snowden and other traitors" - Thanks clueless bitcoin promoters!, the scrip of "hordes of terror organizations" and the last but never unused trope of "pedophiles and their evil deeds".
So thanks a bunch Bitcoin Foundation, for not only launching a nice bright magnesium "hey regulate us" flare into the sky, but getting the hulking government leviathan to slowly change course towards the small Bitcoin lifeboat bobbing in the financial sea.
They now know we're here, and it isn't going to be pretty.
Rocky days ahead for sure, but still hard to say how this will pan out. Still, whether it bitcoin or something else, the cryptocurrency revolution is here and cannot be regulated away

From what I have read CoinBase seems better, and faster, but I never used it personally (both of them).
Thought not perfect - they have glitches sometimes which time up coins for hours or days.

John K is recommend. However, he has a lot of demand and may be busy which could reflect on the time which the money is stored and released. There are different alternatives. However, you should read all the reviews and judge for yourself. If John K is available and he says he can be, then you should go with him. However, these are the other alternatives (Be careful always and judge for yourself): Dabs - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=234939.0Dabs is also a very respected member. MMO Escrow - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=133985.0Also, have done very high amounts. How about Dooglus of Just-Dice who is holding over 50k Bitcoins for investors. He has processed withdrawals as large as 8k bitcoins. Very trustworthy.

Community projects always die. It needs to have a motivation. ie. bitcoins.
I would donate to a developer willing to take this on.

How did they pay so little tx fee, also I wonder how they keep so many BTC. I would be a nervous wreck with that many.
Fee actually low for "aged" bitcoins - he could have paid even less like .0001 BTC
