441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to know whether it is right to join bounties? on: April 26, 2020, 02:28:55 AM
Hello friends, I want to know whether it is right to join bounties?
I have seen many threads where people say that your account should be kept clean.
Does the bounty task (Reporting) spoil posting history?
Actually, I want to rank up my account and do some earning, Is it possible both can be done?

Please help me with this what should I do?
It is normal as long as your post will not be in bounty at all, meaning you should also contribute something to the forum aside from bounty post. Ranking up is pretty difficult but if you are a good contributor to the forum then you can surely rank up in no time.

What you need is trust from the forum members so they will give you some merits in everytime you can do good or contribute something useful.
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: April 26, 2020, 02:00:42 AM

Here are the basic purposes why others are keep on gambling. Competition, winning is the best part of gambling especially if you are competing to each other. Past time, gambling is the best past time as you will forget the time easily if you are already gambling. Profit, earning some money is a good opportunity in gambling. Fame, others are gambling just to become famous.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to get some Ethereum? on: April 26, 2020, 01:21:45 AM
It's a Good time to get some Ethereum?

Ether has risen More than 70% since March 13 and may be about to rise further, It looks like the next ETH 2.0 launch seems to be raising the price of ETH.

https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ethereum
Ethereum is in 2nd position so it is still a good option if we like to invest in a safer way even if eth is a little bit dependent to bitcoin price. Currently, I am holding few eth because I know the potential of this currencies and I will not sell it if I cannot achieve the x6-x10 of its price.

And I am hoping that eth will be able to reach 400-600$ by the end of this year 2020 but it will only happen if the bull season will be triggered after the bitcoin halving.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please help! Is this scam or not? on: April 26, 2020, 12:46:43 AM
Hi All, a friend send me a message with info about a new token name NLC (Night Light Coin) with domain nlccoin.com
But the condition to receive the token airdrop is have to transfer ETH to this address: 0x36afEe66EA8d6a99A9c6c7e676D512eA4A19bC83
I'm not sure if this project is real or from any scammer to cheat everyone. Please give me some advice
Thank you
An airdrop that are asking for eth or any currencies that has a value are scam because your genuine money will be converted only to a shit currencies that has no value. So it is better that you should stay away from it as it is 99% scam and you only have 1% chance that it is real even if it will tell you that you will receive like 300-1000$ in that airdrop in exchange to your 1-10$ in Eth or other currencies that has a value.

Don't fall to this kind of attempt, knowing that scammers are very wise and keep on evolving their tactics every now and then.
445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most gamblers can never hold onto big bag? on: April 26, 2020, 12:18:49 AM
I have one friend who used to play dice in stake.com, he started with a very small fund ($100), out of that money, he managed to have a balance of 24 ETH at some point but unlucky guy lost everything in one day. Once again, with the bonus he got from stake, he managed to cross 30 ETH within less than a month but yesterday, he lost everything once again.
How come he lost everything one day? Do most of the gamblers lose money in such way?
Greediness will kill you if you are over confident with your self, I guess this is what happen to your friend as your friend wasn't contented to what he have won. That amount is already big and he can cash it out anytime he like but because he likes to earn more then he lost everything because of being greedy.

Most of the gamblers are not winning at the end because they will not get contented even if they are already winning a huge amount of money. But if you are a wise gambler, you can easily divide that amount and make sure that you cash out your capital and a percentage of your winning.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving 2020 is almost here, are you ready? on: April 25, 2020, 11:54:45 PM
I am not yet ready to the upcoming halving because almost all of my assets were sold in order to sustain our daily needs in this situation where most of the countries are imposing lockdown just to control the spread of the virus and our country is one of it. But I am still impress how the market was able to continue to push upward even if we are facing a pandemic as of this moment.

But if I can earn an extra money, I will make sure to buy back all the assets that I sold so I can also share the profit to the upcoming halving as the chance that the market to continue to increase is pretty high. Bitcoin is already sitting at 7.5k$ which is a good rally from below 7k$.
447  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price to hit $400k a prediction by an analyst *face palm* on: April 25, 2020, 11:24:44 PM
Dave the Wave the analyst who this article author claims correctly predicted last years bitcoin crash, has made a wild speculation again this time as he claims that Bitcoin prices will hit $400k which is an absurd prediction in my personal opinion. Further the author of this article wants us to believe that just because Dave got it right once he’ll get it right again, and I do hope that newbies don’t fall for such gimmicks and avoid making investment decisions based on such analysts views.

Quote

In the crypto world, Dave the Wave’s predictions always carry significant weight. This is after he predicted in July last year that BTC would enter a parabolic downtrend, and Bitcoin price fell from $11,600 to $6,425 as he predicted.

With Dave the Wave’s previous prediction coming true in the past, this lends credence to this forecast.

Author is a newbie first he claims it’s a reliable prediction, and then goes on to questioning it :
Quote

As to how BTC would increase to these prices remains a mystery, especially for greenhorns in the industry. However, it is not the first time Bitcoin hikes by a seemingly unthinkable amount.

There is always a possibility especially that the market is very unpredictable but the chance for bitcoin price to reach 400k$ is very less especially if we will be talking like 1-3 years from  now. The market will increase and decrease anytime as this is how the market works from the start therefore increasing that much cannot be achieve easily.

That price can be achieve only if the demand will focus on bitcoin and other currencies will be left behind or the demand of crypto will be spread all over the globe like 80-90% of the countries are open to bitcoin usage which is very difficult to happen.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTOCURRENCY IN NORTH KOREA on: April 25, 2020, 11:00:39 PM
Hello guys, so I am just sitting here and wondering how the people of the North Korea are fairing as regards the huge benefit cryptocurrency has brought to every people. I don't  get to hear of any development from that isolated nation bordering South-Korea. I understand the will of the people is heavily subverted by their maximum leader otherwise nicknamed The little rocket man. I read of how poverty is ravaging that nation, freedom for her people to trade cryptocurrency can turn the tides around as it's doing in some poverty stricken nations that the people have embraced bitcoin and its benefit. Do these people even have access to any exchange in the world? and can they safely convert their crypto asset to their native currency and withdraw same without offending The little rocket man? I once read exchange hacking have been traced to NK, meaning some crypto activities are going on there.

I am just concerned on the freedom cryptocurrency brings could be extended to this nation.
North Korea has a very strict rules in their country so I am sure that their citizens have no freedom in crypto as what I read that their internet is very limited to the higher ups and the sites are also very limited. In this scenario, only the government has the freedom to do what they like and if they were able to hack some crypto, I am sure that they are looking for some route in order to cash out the crypto into their fiat money.

But I am hoping that North will become very open in the future as what I read that their president has been declared dead because of the heart surgery failure and if it is true then they have a chance to change if the new president will open a path for crypto.
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this period killed your desire or exited it on: April 25, 2020, 10:46:35 AM
I would be making reference to sport betting, we are in lock down period courtesy the novel corona virus pandemic.
Before this time most of us surely I can speak for myself where lovers of the sport games and also gamblers, from Epl, la Liga, Seria A, NBA, NFl and all the sport you love, and until the pandemic seems to have paused everything for now.
And they say a lot can happen with time,
So people can say they are addicted to sport gambling and they can't do with out it no matter what, am curious what would be there stand now? So would say it's just a game and I can do with out it -you don't know what you have till you lose it- will they be missing the game?
Where do you stand in all this, are you excited to have your favourite games back again or can you say that you can do with out it?

For me I would want to see the beautiful sports that units many back again and we all can live to enjoy it
I've been betting in sports especially in NBA but because of the pandemic that we are currently facing right now, most of the games are on hold or was  postponed until the pandemic will be solve. And I can't really relate to those gamblers who are very addicted to these types of gambling especially if they are saying like they can't live without these gambling choices.

Once this pandemic will be finish, I am sure that everything will go back to normal again and I am hoping that there will be no big changes to the games that you have mentioned like one of the superstars died because of the virus and etc. and also I am very excited once those games will be back again.
450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The growth of cryptocurrency on: April 25, 2020, 02:21:26 AM
Cryptocurrencies have grown over the past two years. Even though decentralized, this currency is now used in many countries. A lot of virtual transactions are carried out using cryptocurrencies and the government has slowly started accepting this currency.

Quote
I just want to know your opinions to these 2 questions:
1. How does cryptocurrency help you in your daily lives?
2. How long have you been into cryptocurrency and how does it changed your life since then?
3. How did you know cryptocurreny?

Quote
Here is mine:
1. Cryptocurrency helps me from my finances, as what we are facing right now, cryptocurrency is so useful for me because we are all required to stay at home and the only thing that helps me to support my lives and to have foods for me is the cryptocurrency.
2. I've been using cryptocurrency for almost 3 months and within those months, it changes my life a little bit, before, I don't have so much money to buy some of my wants and needs, I do investing in cryptocurrency and that is my way of earning cryptocurrency so I have now money to buy such things.
3. I am very thankful to my friend because he told me about cryptocurrency, before, I am not really interested because I am not that so familiar about it and I do nothave any ideas about transactions happen in crypto world but upon reading and learning some informatiom about cryptoworld I am now I am, hoping that I will imporve my knowledge about crypto world.

* It's been a while that I been in crypto world and it really help a lot as I was able to earn a good amount of profit from the start that I learn crypto until now.
* If I am not mistaken, I've been in crypto for almost 7 years already and because of crypto I was able to buy my dream bike and build my dream house.
* I learn crypto via search engine and later on I speed up my knowledge in crypto via this forum and in our local forum also.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading bounty projects and none trading bounty projects on: April 25, 2020, 01:48:35 AM
Bounties is all about luck this days, staying away from scam projects is another topic but I'm here to clarify that listed bounties don't have anything to do with payouts every time, meaning that just because a bounty project is listed on exchange doesn't mean you will get paid, hunters can prove me wrong, few listed bounties already disappoints.

while you are busy looking for listed bounties make sure to check on none listed bounty projects too, remember that Cartesi was never listed and no one knew that they will list on binance.
It's a matter of how good we are in our decision making especially in choosing and finding the right projects to support on. At first, I am having a hard time in looking for a trusted one either they are a listed or none listed project because the project number increases as days passes by.

And one mistake will cost you a lot of time and effort in exchange of shit currencies or worst without receiving anything from the project owner. You are right that not all the project that are listed have a potential to become successful so the best option to do is to find the right project to support so we can assure that our hard work will be paid.
452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign on: April 25, 2020, 12:29:56 AM
Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign or you are already a gambler and wants to be part of a gambling campaign, in my case I come to play gambling because I want to become a part of a gambling campaign, so far this is my 6th gambling campaign and I still continue gambling because I want to continuously involved in gambling campaign.

How about you?
My gambling habit didn't relate to the gambling campaign because before I know that there are gambling campaigns, I am a gambler already and being a part in gambling campaign is a good opportunity as I am love gambling as a way to ease my boredom.

Even if I am not that heavy gambler, still being in a gambling campaign help me a lot to know the better site where I can gamble and other opportunities that can help me entertain especially in the time that I have nothing to do.

453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Gambling Life During Quarantine on: April 24, 2020, 11:35:07 PM
So,...
-how's it going when it goes to your daily life?
-how's it going when it comes to your social life?
And lastly...
-how's it going when it comes to your gambling life?

All of this will be based only on what you have done in this past month of Quarantine. Although it is very common that we can't see any games in relation to sports, even so there are quite a number of shareable experiences that you might have done in this past month that you have never done in the past years.

So what do you think? Do it really had a big difference?
Due to quarantine my life become more and more boring therefore I always look for an alternative on how to ease my boredom. And because of it I put more times in gambling as it is one of the alternative in easing my boredom but I always put a limitation in my capital therefore I cannot put too much time in gambling especially if I lose my capital.

The difference is very big if we are going to compare it to the times that there is no quarantine because the time that I put in gambling become more compare to the time that there is no quarantine.

455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will another altcoin rise to overtaken Bitcoin? on: April 19, 2020, 07:11:24 AM
Taking into consideration the nature and redundancy of Bitcoin technology and the difficulty in scaling, I am very curious to know if Bitcoin protocol will be dropped one day and another coin build to take its place. because now it's almost like the redundancy of Bitcoin and the time it takes for a transaction to be processed is part of what is affecting its mainstream adoption as a currency. please share your thoughts.
Who knows maybe someday there will be an altcoin that will be develope that can overtake bitcoin as anything is possible especially that our technology is keep on evolving as days passes by. But if we will be talking like 1-5 years from now, surpassing bitcoin is very difficult and as you can see many altcoins want to do it but they fail to get the sympathy of big investors.

Bitcoin is the King and will always be remembered if there will be altcoins that can replace it's place someday.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: April 19, 2020, 02:49:36 AM
Bounty campaign is a good way for projects to spread the word and gain publicity in the cryptocurrency market. But it is not the best way to gain investors. Good projects don't depend on bounties alone to promote their token sale.
And this is because when bounty hunters post about a project, majority of these posts is only seen by other bounty hunters and not to the real investors. And these posts are just basic and can not convince good investors to invest.
Bringing in the investors and funds depends on the team's marketing ability and their ability to close deals. This is why good projects attend a lot of crypto events and network with people.
Though bounties help a project to create popularity and hype among crypto users, the main investment and funds is brought in by the team's marketing and closing ability.
Solid marketing techniques are the foundation of a successful projects and bounty campaign is a part of it, yes it is not enough to bring a good amount of investors that is why marketers are doing some meet ups in order to gather some potential investors. And for other solid projects, they are looking for a solid partners as it can also boost their popularity among the investors especially if they can form a partnership to a trusted company or organization.

But as you can see why many successful projects are putting so much effort to bounty campaigns because it is tested already that it can help to hype their project which can help them in spreading their project in every corner of the world and the investors will surely to follow especially if they can see that the project has the potential.

457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for blind people on: April 19, 2020, 01:30:05 AM
I've been into Bitcoin for quite a few years, and I'm impressed to see how far it has reached in the mainstream world. It's the most widely-adopted cryptocurrency for decentralized payments worldwide without the need for a middleman. In its current state, Bitcoin works wonders for ordinary people like you and me. It's only a matter of putting the right BTC address and the number of coins to send to get started using the Bitcoin blockchain.

However, my concern is how blind people are able to get used to Bitcoin? To my knowledge, wallets (either with a GUI or CLI) don't have "text-to-speech" features to make blind people's lives easier. It'd be great if developers keep blind people in mind to help increase the adoption of the pioneer cryptocurrency in the mainstream world. The only thing I've found is an audiobook of the Bitcoin whitepaper which is a great solution to introduce blind people into the "mechanics" of Bitcoin.

Any thoughts? Huh
Bitcoin and other crypto currencies are not yet ready to serve everyone as it needs to solve first it's problems like what you have mentioned, blind people can't use bitcoin yet if it will implemented as the main payment system. That is only one of many problems that bitcoin will face in case it will be use as main payment someday.

If we are going to compare the fiat and bitcoin, fiat will be a lot simplier for blind people to use compare to bitcoin even if it can provide a mechanics that will convert speech to text and vice versa. But a solution will likely to be provided in the near future where everyone can easily use bitcoin and other currencies without any difficulties as we are continuing to develop our technology.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember WannaCry? one of hackers bitcoin address is on the move on: April 18, 2020, 04:13:02 PM
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/bc1qnav5fjv4qcz4dlkyq6ncxa5an36ag7e0ee8klm

I'm sure everyone here is still aware and remember this WannaCry ransomware which hit us in 2017 and many fell victim and it was reported that this ransomware stole in the ball park number (low) of around $50k to a million. And last Thursday, one of its known addresses has woke up and the criminals may have a plan to cash it out very soon.
Maybe the hacker is thinking that the victims already forgotten what happened and he is now on the move to cash out the money. The hacker can do a lot with it, a ransomware that were able to hack thousands up to a million dollar is not a joke amount.

Let's just hope that it cannot affect the market situation that much so we can enjoy a green color before the halving will occur and also let's just hope that the hacker will be penalize someday with their actions.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion on stable coins? on: April 18, 2020, 03:18:34 PM

Hello Crypto friends!

Recently i have known about tether and also facebook libra.

Is those worth investments or waste investments.......?

Because if facebook libra is stable coin then it is wrong investment choice because many crypto investors look for profit coins i mean unlike stable coins they will like coins which get profits.

In my opinion stable coins are bad to invest.

But facebook will change their decision regarding the libra stable coin or the libra coin will also like another tether.

Thanks!
Stable coins have their own purpose and investing to it is not an option because even if it will take years, the movement of stable currencies are very small like only cents. Of course we can say that stable coins are bad to invest as it will not give you a profit that much compare to other currencies that are not stable but when the market crashes the stable currencies are good as scapegoat for investors.

They can just sell their assets and convert it to stable currencies while waiting for the chance to buy back again and profit in the long run.
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't this the best time for Bitcoin? on: April 18, 2020, 01:38:56 PM
Sadly, the world is in a state of islolation, probably the first time ever?

But my real question is isn't this best time for Bitcoin? Medical researchers have proved that it's dangerous to use cash and ATMs during this period. Sooo what other ways can we look to make our daily transactions easier and safer? BitcoinBTC!! It's as easy as checking something on the internet, no contact with sellers and the spread of the virus can be reduced.

Stay safe, Stay home
Thank you.
It is time for digital payment or using crypto currencies if in case the governments are ready for this as there are many factors that are need to be fix first in order for digital payment to be available to anyone either you are rich, poor, in urban area, in rural area and etc. And teaching someone is not easy, they can easily use fiat but do you think shifting to digital currencies will be easy for them especially if they have no background to it.

Let's face the reality that we are not yet ready to implement this kind of payment system but maybe in the future, if all the difficult factors will be solve and it will give a way for digital payment to fully replace fiat even if there are no virus around. And as you see, crypto are also struggling right now due to the effect of corona virus.
