441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] sgminer v5 - optimized X11/X13/NeoScrypt/Lyra2RE/etc. kernel-switch miner on: July 23, 2015, 09:48:48 PM
anyone notice that mining with Kachur bins are a little more unstable? I regularly get slowed up workers. My 280X goes from 7.25Mhs and reverts back to only mining at 6.3Mhs. Driver's crashing etc, whereas on wolf's bins I never had one driver crash.

This x11 bins are from original "kachur" sgminer 5.1.1 package. When cryptomining-blog leaked this miner they only supplied with quark and qubit but miss x11 ... )))

yeah, those bins do get about 10% more than Wolf0's.  BUT it also has a tendency to become idle over time and require stop and restart, a major pain, while Wolf0's just keep going, and going,...

At least that is my experience.

This looks promising.  I'll check it out.
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Credit Card Processor --> Bitcoin Wallet on: July 16, 2015, 11:27:02 PM
You can do it with Payza. They accept Credit Cards etc. And you can request your money as Bitcoin.

Ps: Payza is the good old Alertpay (there were no chargebacks disputes when it was competing paypal back then).

Thanks, but they are not credit card processors.  They accept VISA only.  I am looking for a credit card processor that processes VISA, American Express, Discover, Mastercard for the United States.

From reading the above post I gather that perhaps I was not clear.

I am a business.  My business accepts credit cards.  I don't want to be reimbursed by electronic transfer in dollars to my bank account.  What I want is for a credit card processor to reimburse my wallet in bitcoin.

Does anyone know if this is done?

Hi ,
I am wondering if there are Credit Card Processors that accept credit card transactions for businesses that automatically payout to a bitcoin wallet.
Does anyone know of a processor that will do that?

As a cryptocurrency miner for over 2 years I can unequivocally state that ocminer and his suprnova.cc pools are my go to choice when given a choice.  suprnova pools are NOT scam pools.  This is not a paid announcement.  It is my observation and my opinion.

I get about 23Mh/s per card with the HetPas generated .cl and they are all Tahiti.

Wolf0, is this faster than the HetPas generated .cl ?

R9280X - what speed @neoscrypt?

pls share neoscrypt fastest miner and config
thank you

What's with the sudden interest in Neo?

ftc pump

Everyone wishes they had a faster neoscrypt sgminer!

I just wish the existing one would solo-mine neoscrypt.

Yes, it is the "russian" miner.  Anyway it does seem to just be that pool.  When using Yaamp or Nicehash everything is fine.

try --no-extranonce (even if the pool explicitly doesn't require it), may help

Yeah, I thought of that, too.  No change.  Must just be the pool.  Thanks.

Bad pool, or flaky ISP connection.

On a side note your memclock is way too low you should add another 0 to the end of that.

Uh, no.  Memclock has no affect on hashrate with quarkcoin.  Lowering memclock saves energy.  As for the 'Waiting for work' it matters not if the memclock is 1500, 1250, 700, or 150.

Any one else have any other ideas?

I am mining SRC (quarkcoin) on CoinMine Pool with HD 7970s and R-280xs and I am getting more than a fair number of:
"Waiting for work to be available from pools."
Any idea what might be causing this, or what typically causes this?

Which pool?
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SAK] SharkCoin | PoW | Coming back!!! on: May 27, 2015, 10:45:07 PM

So I visited this site and it says that the algo is Qubit.  I thought SAK was Quark algo.  Am I wrong?

Yup, it's Quark. Guess the owner of the pool didn't go over it before creating the pool.

As it stands, it takes about 10,000~ khs to mine per 1 SAK daily. So, one 280x/HD7970  or GTX 970/980 or 2x GTX 750ti will mine 1~ SAK daily. I don't really know if it's worth mining unless you control a large gpu mining farm, preferably a Nvidia one for cost efficiency of electricity. Maybe worth it if you have a farm of 100 or more gpus.

Thanks for the stats!  That will help me in my assessment.

...as the pool seems to drop out and need to reconnect often.

I am not seeing that.  Maybe just you are?
