443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Drones to Deliver Bitcoins on: July 28, 2014, 04:08:43 AM
Wouldn't it be better if a Drone could deliver you Bitcoins or  two-way cash for Bitcoins.  Could be like a flying exchange ATM ...lol.....

Also, meant to ask how do I add this into a wordpress.com site?

Doesn't seem to work?

<script src="http://coinwidget.com/widget/coin.js"></script>
<script>
CoinWidgetCom.go({
   wallet_address: "12Z9S7iMbgSY2N4fB7YeE8VhiXb8ZL6ysn"
   , currency: "bitcoin"
   , counter: "count"
   , alignment: "bl"
   , qrcode: true
   , auto_show: false
   , lbl_button: "Donate"
   , lbl_address: "My Bitcoin Address:"
   , lbl_count: "donations"
   , lbl_amount: "BTC"
});
</script>

edit: nevermind looks like wordpress.com doesn't allow javascript! lol

447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DOPE] DopeCoin - Heartbleed conquered! Digishield performing perfectly! on: July 27, 2014, 06:55:33 PM
Hello DopeCoin community,

I’ve been in touch with Dopey and want to give an update on what has been going on and what is planned for the future but first.....

  • He isn't in prison or dead
  • He hasn't given up on the project and here is what is needed.

We are currently looking for a lead dev. for this coin as the one in charge for DopeCoin returned from vacation and has decided to step away from the crypto world all together.  So the plan is to find a lead dev. so if you know anyone or you yourself wants to get in touch with us please do at: dopecoin@gmail.com  .

All funding i.e. server  fees, development fees are still a go. Dopey, would like to be side by side with some kick-ass dev. for this kick-ass DopeCoin. Of course, the big thing that is needed is coin mixing technology so if you know someone who is good in this area it would be helpful.

Any concerns just reply back here or send me a private message!

So what does this community say?  Is it a good day to start the revolution again?

Thanks,
Dopey & Dopecoindude

Did Dopey create the dopecoin android wallet all by themself?

Where is this coin for sale. Right now is a good time for someone to buy millions of dopecoins and do something cool for the coin to increase its value.

His dev. did at the time.  To be honest not sure where DopeCoin is being bought right now.

Only one I am aware of is coinwidget.com but that's only BTC  and LC, I suspect you all ready know about that, but thought I would post in case you hadn't

Cheers
Mark

Hi Mark!

Someone just pointed me to your site.  I love it!  I heard you can add coins to it also albeit you have to change some things around and host it yourself Wink

Good work!

Can we please appoint a new DEV, i would suggest a swap and make it more interesting for new miners, and i would like to get the original DEV to compensate the community with 10BTC for all electricity lost and for his failure and ignoring of community, i even think of starting a lawsuite against this asshole. I know his name so i will certainly do the necessary investigation what can be done to put this cheater behind bars.

They are working on it. Also, whats the point of lawsuit you took as much risk as the dev did.

We are a long term coin here.  Our first wallet update is in testing and includes a checkpoint among other updates!

Judge Crypto

so many, so, what's dev team works on?

We are testing the new version, which includes a blockchain checkpoint.  Also something small is that we are putting in dns seed nodes so that when seeds change you dont need a conf file.  There are also some ui fixes a link to the help desk being put in.  The new dev is working on tip bots, in a very early stage...

Looking good so far!  Grin

Grin  when pow over  , all coin seems like to be a dead coin

hahaha good point .... man, I've never seen so many coins barely breathing I was just reading about UniversityCoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=590681.1500

And how it was originally a scam, then was retaken over by the community now they are fighting for their lives as they try to stay on one exchange after getting de-listed on another haha ...its really pathetic....

edit: another one ....who had to start over again.... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=471166.1860    I could make a list a mile long....

ye  i only support btc , why people create altcoins? the most important thing is that they only want to collect more bitcoin througt their "altcoin" which people

call "shitcoin" right?

is there a site called shitcoins ?
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Suggestion: a sticky of dead coins? on: July 17, 2014, 05:24:37 AM
1. no one can follow up this thing and update the topic,

Like I said I can maintain a fairly good list if need be.

2. you cannot know what is the real position of a coin. Who decides it.. People always saying 'things' about the coins but almost more than half of them is bullsh*t.

It will be all relative determination . At least and update on each coin that is close to death can take place in the updated thread.  I realize most are bullsh$t.

Define a dead coin? That is what makes a coin dead enough to make the list.
Pretty easy to figure it out....  I'm not saying the coin is "officially dead" its just a heads up for people to aware there isn't much going on ...( I'll even check their forums if need be ...)

1.] Non-activity from Dev's  can set a certain amount of time.

2.] People can complain to a private PM that the coin has been de-listed at an exchange and is going down hill ...

Probably, plenty of other criteria to go by also....but those two for starters....
