441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do 90% of Bettors Lose in Sports Betting in the Long-term? on: July 09, 2023, 11:14:07 PM
That seems to suggest that a lay bet of the same bets would make people alot of money.  Do both and just place the larger amount of value with what has tended to work in the past, lay or bet.   Then you can have fun betting and also make money at the same time.   Im usually betting on a team or sport I would watch anyway, its for fun not the idea Im somehow on my path to riches because I like to bet on a match every now and again; people are kidding themselves too much.

only a few or just lucky they do the same bet and then make a lot of money. See how many lose when they make the same bet, it's all just luck. Sports betting is also affected by how strong the teams are playing. If you support your favorite team but you know your team is under the opposing team, it will not make you happy when your team loses. Haya results in losing and not having enough fun. I'm not going to do that, just be more realistic. Support the team that has more potential to win because we are only looking for profits in the end.

Bayer Monaco is really going for Kane.
A second bid for 70m € will come in these days.

To me its just a waste of money for an almost 30years old player.

It looks like a waste of time to me when they can invest around the same amount for a young striker in Europe. Maybe they do have their reasons. Kane can go for 3-5 more years and the fact that he's dieing to get his hands on an European trophy, He'll make the switch and put in the work. This reminds me about the time last year when Barcelona signed Lewandowski for around €45M. I said it was already too late since he had passed his prime but so far so good, it's going alright at Camp Nou.

I reckon this deal will be completed in the next few days. Let's see how it unfolds.

Edit: Anything above €80M is waste of money. They can wait 12 months and get him for free.

Signing Kane for 70m is not a waste. Kane is exactly the kind of striker that Bayern needs. Bayern is always known to have a lethal striker. Their wings and midfield are solid, all that is missing now is a world class striker and Kane will fill that role perfectly. Kane can score and support the build up play of Bayern, not to mention that he's used to the quick transition paetter and fast counter attacking of Bayern Munich. Kane is among the top 5 best striker in the world right now, I think he's even among the top 3.
The problem is, Levy will rather lose Kane for free next season than sell him. I don't think they'll sell Kane this season.

Kane is a Spurs legend and one of the best players in the world, but at 29 he still hasn't won a major trophy. The new £70m bid will be the final bid and there will be no further bids. Kane's contract will expire in 2024 and once it runs out he will be a free transfer. If you want to wait it will be a big advantage for Bayern Munich so you don't have to spend money to get it.
Because of that, Bayern Munich will not stick to the figure of Harry Kane for long. A number of names then appeared as alternatives. And the name that is now sticking out is the Manchester City striker, Julian Alvarez. For this one player, Bayern Munich continues to approach. latest news Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich continue to show interest in Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: July 09, 2023, 10:26:56 PM
Gambling is a risky activity. Gambling again with money won in gambling leads to potential losses. After all, making money in gambling is based on luck. When luck gives us an opportunity, we should use it well. So when we win money in gambling, we must act rationally and protect the money. Otherwise, if we lose the money we earn in gambling, we will enter a vicious circle. If we cannot get rid of vicious circles, we should not hesitate to seek professional help. Gambling addiction is a common problem experienced by many people.

Professional help? will people care when you are addicted to gambling and will anyone find out. I see people who are gambling addicts don't open any conversation about gambling, some of them are introverts.
Winning the jackpot at gambling is luck that will not come twice. if forced to continue gambling then they will lose it all. gambling will take all the winning money and only regret will be left.
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 08, 2023, 08:32:14 PM
I have similar opinion; with a new coach in Napoli i do not think they are willing to lose any of their star players. Osimhen will remain in Napoli for atleast an extra season as Napoli tries to do win the Italian serie a back to back times. Also, i think 120M for Victor Osimhen is cheap
Napoli appoints former Al-Nasser coach, Rudi Garcia as their new head coach, he's a good replacement for Luciano Spalleti. Napoli performance next season would not decline, they will try to maintain their peak. The club is cooperated and they will even strive harder to achieve more titles. Their top striker, Victor Osimhen is a prominent striker in the club and his presence brings tough threats in the minds of his opponents. The Nigerian borne striker is valued over €120million, I do think he's overhyped because he's only consistent the previous season which his club won the scudetto after 33 years.

The change of Napoli's coach will be a big strength with the new strategy that will be used. We all know Napoli reigns over the top of the Serie A standings and leaves all the teams with the highest points tally. By having a TOP striker like Victor Osimhen Napoli are confident to continue to pose a threat to their opponents.
Victor Osimhen also seems to be a threat to other clubs such as Real Madrid who are planning to be given a salary of 100 million Euros, but Napoli gave a salary of 120 million Euros so he can sign a long contract for Napoli. Apart from Victor Osimhen, Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo is also one step away from signing a long-term contract with Napoli. this proves that Napoli will not give up its great players just like that. president Aurelio De Laurentiis doesn't want a complete overhaul, so is working on new contracts for a handful of players.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Verified twitter, telegram account is the strong point for a new project? on: July 08, 2023, 07:53:13 PM
Currently, blue ticks on Twitter can be bought. And verified Instagram accounts can also be bought or paid for by influencers to promote their projects. We are in a complicated situation. For me, social media is only a place to promote projects and show how they will develop the project.
Analyzing in depth is still my strong point in determining whether I will invest there or not.

Everything can be bought and this will only be manipulation. Fraudulent projects using verified accounts are very easy. Who can pay for him to look believable.
Currently, social media cannot be used as a benchmark for whether a project is good or not, but looking at the entire project starting from the team, partners and roadmap is very important to know. Many have followed new projects in the past, some have been profitable but most have ended in failure because the projects were not able to compete and develop and some were just fraudulent projects.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding cryptocurrencies and investment. on: July 08, 2023, 07:28:50 PM
Crypto is a digital currency that comprises different coins. It's important that we understand how this coin works and which to invest in. How do we identify the best coin and the period to invest in these types of coins?

yes and in my opinion the best project in cryptocurrency to be used as a short term or long term investment is blockchain, because blockchain is the most important project in cryptocurrency, therefore I always invest in blockchain to be used as a long term investment, such as ETH, BNB and MATIC, because I believe the price will definitely continue to increase and now is the right time to invest in ETH, BNB and MATIC (the price is being corrected).

Hey bro, Blockchain is the technology or the network. Whereas what you mean by ETH coins, BNB, MATIC etc. are Altcoins which of course will be more risky due to high fluctuations influenced by Bitcoin. A good investment for the long term is Bitcoin, Altcoin is an optional choice. You say Blockchain means there are multiple networks or chains which will be different like ETH with Ethereum network, BNB with Binance network and Matic with Polygon network.
Don't put too much trust in Altcoins which are still quite vulnerable to going down because of the state of Bitcoin and prices will not always increase.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: July 07, 2023, 03:01:18 PM
Why you need to care with someone else opinion's toward you? did they even care with your opinion? nope.

Enjoy the life, choose your life and do what you like, as long as you know the good and bad thing, also know the risk, it's completely fine. In gambling you're the one who's responsible with your decision, for you it's fine to gamble $50 in a day but someone think it's too much. This is because your monthly salary is bigger than them and it cause the amount you can afford to lose is different for them.

I’m thinking like this too. I have a very private life and never share with other people from my wife yet my neighborhood knows what I’m doing especially as I’m casually playing gambling with my friends during event here. Gambling is view here is negative so being called as an addicted gambler can be classified as illegal drugs addict.

I didn’t care about others opinion and gossip even though I’m hearing things like this from my friends. I just considered them as my fanbase since they really care to my life by being updated on what I’m doing. We have nothing to prove or justify what we are doing to other people. If they will judge, so be it.

Their assessment will be a reminder to yourself that gambling should not exceed the threshold you have set. They have the right to judge but not the right to make a story that has not been considered true, such as linking gambling with drug addicts. Because not all gamblers do things that are more negative and prohibited like drugs.
We recommend that neighbors or other people who don't know you don't know what you are doing, that will be your privacy. If your neighbors or other people only know from the outside, negative opinions will continue to emerge. It will not make you comfortable if prolonged, you will get a bad reputation in your environment.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 07, 2023, 02:29:13 PM
Declan Rice deal is said to be completed for €123m in total for Arsenal. This is a really huge amount and they had better hope he will be worth this deal. Because they have seemed really desperate to complete this signing for themselves. They even increased their offer a lot more after Manchester City's being interested in Rice also.

I heard it like €105m at first but it looks like the whole package is even bigger than that. After this huge deal I wouldn't expect Arsenal to pay a similar amount for another player in the same transfer window. They continue to make the team even younger by Xhaka's departure on one hand. Let's see how this will affect the team in the long term.
I think you’re confusing yourself with the difference in currency. Declan Rice final accepted transfer fee is £100m plus £5 add ons. Arsenal had a number of bids rejected before their latest £105m offer met Westham's approval, and discussions  are now over how that fee will be paid. During the bidding process, I think Rice informed his club that he wanted them to accept Arsenal's final £105m bid after a prolonged transfer saga that has been one of the stories of the summer.

Declan Rice certainly doesn't want to pass up this lofty bid and Westham is sure to have a lot to gain from. This will also affect Declan Rice's salary in the arsenal, which of course will be more expensive. 105 Million Euros is a huge amount and is a source of transfer business that other clubs want.
Knowing that Declan Rice was bought for 105 million EURO, Moises Caicedo Brighton, who was going to be sold to Chelsea, suddenly raised his selling price. The increase in the selling price made Chelsea confused whether to approve it or not. Brighton seems jealous of West Ham's transfer business. They want the same amount of money. But, there is a big possibility, Chelsea will withdraw from the hunt. However, no decision has been taken by Chelsea.
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 07, 2023, 01:48:44 PM
~snip~But they're already having clashes in the internet space as a result of the latter's launch of another social media app called Thread which has similar features with Twitter. Elon Musk has initiated so many rules on Twitter since he took over the ownership of the app which majority of the app's users aren't cool with and thus the excitement and switch of these users to the new Thread. 30 million users signed up on the app on it's first day and still counting. Twitter might be a thing if the past in time to come because many it's users are switching to Thread

It's a competition after all, but Zuck doesn't seem to have enough ideas to make a different look than has to be the same as Twitter. This is the conflict of geniuses and they fight using genius companion weapons. We can't interfere and can only see who is better.
Regarding Elon Musk's policy on Twitter which has experienced development, there are indeed many who don't like it and the policy regarding the Purchase of Blue Checks will be used by bad people to create fake accounts that look genuine for the purpose of deceiving others. But who is the best, Twitter or threads? it's a choice for each of them both are equally great but whoever is older is still the current ruler.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: July 07, 2023, 12:13:04 PM
You will be lucky to get things sorted out by the team, that is if they decide to consider you, VPN and gambling is a very bad idea, and avoid serving as an example.
The team will definitely solve the problem and consider the problem of using a VPN if he is willing not to repeat it a second time and is willing to say what is the real reason for using a VPN that is clearly prohibited by casinos.
The casino team works well and provides as much satisfactory service as possible to all customers by providing the fairest solution for any problems that occur.
But you need to know that there are also some casinos that allow their customers access by using a VPN.
There are platforms which are considerate and there are ones who would really be sticking out into their rules on which as a user who do commit out such violation would definitely be penalized or facing up consequences
with that which it would really be just that a normal approach or decisions would be making by these companies on which as a violator then you dont have the rights on complaining about their decisions isnt really that right. You've been pretty wary about their terms and conditions (unless you do read it up) that if VPN isnt that allowed or prohibited, then why you would really be forcing out on making use of something
which isnt allowed?
If we do speak about gambling choices or options then we do have tons in the market on which you could choose from. There are really just those people who do really likes on playing on a site
on which it do looks interesting and trying out to bypass if ever there are prohibitions.  Grin
Every casino must have this prohibition and of course we have to comply with it so that if we violate it, like it or not, we have to be able to accept the risk of sanctions that will be given by the casino.
I don't use a VPN when the casino forbids it and you should know that I always ask support if I want to do anything that seems to have been the rules of the casino so I don't take the wrong action and get punished.
But all of this depends on the awareness of each gambler whether they want to comply with these rules because not a few gamblers don't want to read the TOS so they don't know what restrictions are contained in the TOS.

Wait a minute, because not everyone is looking for an attractive casino and most gamblers are looking for a casino that is trusted and can provide what the gamblers themselves want.

TOS is an important guideline before playing and really must be understood. But using a VPN cannot be avoided if we as gamblers are prohibited because our country is not allowed. I asked one of the online casino site admins if I could use a VPN or not, the answer was yes as long as you can play and become a new customer they don't mind that. But some are also strict and do not allow using a VPN.
Complying with regulations or not is certain depending on everyone's awareness, as in implementing KYC it will be requested when there is a withdrawal threshold that requires depositing KYC. Trusted casinos currently have many users and actually pay when gamblers win and can withdraw them smoothly without any obstacles.
451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Not Just Buy BTC? on: July 05, 2023, 09:01:28 PM
Buying bitcoin is a great idea. You don't have to worry about looking for some "promising" altcoins that may not bring anything in the end, you just buy bitcoin and wait for the bull market. I don't know about the whole market, but I'm confident in bitcoin, it will be a reliable investment that will bring profit. Now bitcoin looks good, but pay attention that it has been growing since the beginning of the year, take this into account, after such growth a correction may follow, remember this and do not deviate from your original strategy.
But the problem with that is you are limiting yourself for the opportunities available in the market. But if you can't afford to have this because you can't trust the altcoins in the market then this is fine being bitcoin maximalist can save you up from many stress that can bring up by some altcoins.
Bitcoin still has a big potential but you need to wait for maybe more longer times before you can see a great changes unto your holdings because bitcoin is meant to be a long term investment if you want to see some great results.
Being a bitcoin maximalist is such an easy thing to do. You literally do nothing, you buy bitcoin when you have the money for it, and you do absolutely nothing else at all. I love that about it and I can't wait to keep using it for as long as possible. I know that it is not going to be an easy task but as long as it stays like that we should be feeling alright about it.

People will end up being a bit sad to see how simple it was to get rich and they missed their chances in the future, but I personally believe that I will be glad to follow this pat. I love it and I will continue to love it and I do not have anything remotely close to anything this simple to be rich in the future, this is by far the simplest one for sure.

is it really that easy? for those who panic too much and can't hold on long term it will be difficult to do so when the price of Bitcoin continues to fall. quite simple, buy and hold until you get a lot of profit in the end. It looks simple but in practice it is very difficult. Not everyone can do that. The capital used also needs to be considered whether the capital is used for other things or is it really not needed for anything. Getting rich by holding Bitcoin long term looks very easy and simple, but the implementation is quite difficult due to many factors.

Don't have the skills to tell about work as a moderator, but you can offer yourself in the service board section that you provide services as a moderator or community manager and most importantly you must also include your Portfolio so that people who need your skills can know your abilities and experience you are the moderator. If this is the first for you and want to try your luck, you really have to have the skills you master.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How big is your optimism for crypto investment? on: July 05, 2023, 07:07:50 PM
Seeing this type of news from people in this category, with so many years of experience in the cryptographic market who consider that investing in these assets continues to be and will continue to be one of the best decisions that could be made, since it will probably continue to bring surprises later. , they fill one with confidence and security, but for those who until now are entering this world and are afraid of what will happen. And I wonder how many people in this forum who have also spent years learning and handling cryptocurrencies, specifically bitcoin, think the same way as these influencers. How great is your optimism that increases in volatility will be seen again? Increases that could become historic.
Those who are afraid of entering this market are those who have just seen Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the bear market, they think that they crash very badly since Bitcoin crashed from $69k to $16k straight and anyone who is new to it will get scared seeing that for sure, but those, who have been around since the beginning or when Bitcoin wasn't worth much, will not have such thoughts at all and I say that because I'm one of them.

I've known Bitcoin since when it was only worth $400 a coin, I didn't know back then that it will get this much success and will gain such a high value in the future, there used to be only an easily countable amount of people who used to know and use Bitcoin back then and look at it now.

It will be very scary if a new beginner looks at the current price and compares it with the last ATH price. from $69k down to $16k would give almost 80% loss. But such a decline would instead benefit those who believe in and know about Bitcoin. If they don't enter at a low price then they panic too much and think bitcoin won't come back. Even though this is just a downward cycle that really has to happen, ups and downs in crypto are common. It's just how someone can strengthen their mental and correct money management to buy back when the price crashes.
For those who have bought Bitcoin at a low price, as you said below $ 400 then they will become billionaires if they sell it now, even more if they wait for the next new ATH.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 05, 2023, 06:12:49 PM

That price was actually non sense. It's far higher compared with his market value. https://www.transfermarkt.com/sandro-tonali/marktwertverlauf/spieler/397033

I doubt if tonalli's transfer gonna be another successful transfer from howe. I see tonalli's stats doesn't look like impressive last season. Im feeling doubtful if he gonna be useful for newcastle. Tonally wants stay even longer in acmilan but the director of club was not approving it and sold tonalli to the newcastle.

It's a big gamble by howe in buying tonalli from acmilan. Im feeling doubt with his performance during pre match that will come soon. Howe may put him as starting line up.
Tonalli won't be able easily adapting to the club.

It seems that it is indeed higher, it is just a rumor price. But the last price I read from some news, Ac Milan agreed to sell Tonali for 55 million Euros. This is of course a fairly competitive price and Newcastle will pay it.

455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 05, 2023, 04:44:58 PM

usually someone who gambles just to look for entertainment they always come when they only have money left and of course with a small amount and won't come every day. but the problem here is of course we can't avoid the thought of wanting to win because of course we have fun not only losing but also winning. it's just that the difference is that we who gamble for entertainment are not as greedy as gamblers who chase daily profits from gambling who always chase defeats to recover losses and still get profits.
and regarding betting on sports betting, it's better to do it on sports that you are good at or already understand the teams you want to place bets on because this will have a big impact on winning.

The thought of hoping to win is definitely there because gambling becomes fun entertainment when victory arrives. Even though you lose, it won't be a problem because you only need a little capital, even if you have leftover shopping money. and the thought of returning the loss may not arise if it is only done for entertainment, it is different if the defeat is based on wanting to get a lot of profit, they will definitely make another deposit. I also bet on sports that I understand and love like football and slot games are also my favorite games.
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 04, 2023, 11:56:49 PM
Do you set aside specific times each day or week for gambling? If you enjoy sports betting, do you bet on games throughout the week whenever they're available?

Don't gamble for entertainment, don't do it regularly and do not set aside any time for that, there are plenty of better things to do with your life. You should only be betting when you spot an opportunity where you think you have an advantage over the house, otherwise you're just letting yourself get screwed.

Maybe it would be more appropriate if gambling should not be made a main job because it will be done every day and regularly, if it is just entertainment it will be done when someone needs entertainment but not regularly. I do some slot gambling to fill my free time and entertain myself with a little money. Don't expect to get a big Jackpot. However, when making bets such as sports betting, you will do this when you see several opportunities or superior players or teams playing. it will be an excellent opportunity to profit from betting. As a whole, this pattern is only based on a good chance or moment.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling scenario that keeps repeating on you on: July 04, 2023, 11:38:54 PM
I'm glad you already identified  that you're putting  some unnecessary  pressure on yourself which wasn't right and that pressure alone can lead to chasing loses and revenge  gambling  which is very much frowned at in the forum becausebthe results are always tragedic and always leads to blowing of ones account.
I have a gambling scenario  that keeps happening  to me which is the attempt to always want to increase my leverage  whenever  I have a large capital  and most times infeel the casino is spying  in my balance  as it seems my losses are too much when my capital is high and it always seems difficult for me to desist from this act to increasing my leverage when my capital is high.

It depends on how you exercise self-control. Don't you have a strategy so you always use high leverage? if you are aware of doing that and it keeps on repeating then you need to take a break and don't continue any gambling. you will only spend the capital you use if you can not be controlled.
too many and repeated losses indicate that you are not ready with your strategy and self-control from using leverage and gambling that you are doing is not good to continue. Scenarios of repeated losses will make you even more stressed.
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 04, 2023, 11:12:24 PM
Newcastle United are really surprising me these days, looking back from three seasons ago. Who would have pictured Newcastle United playing innthe champions league but since the takeover by the Arabs, they are not just playing the champions league but they can now attract top names around Europe to join them. This is a good signing for Newcastle and I can’t wait to see the impact he will make this coming season.
Eddie Howe deserves an awful lot of credit for what he has done in Newcastle, i know the club now has a very wealthy hierarchy, but last season they didn't even spend so much but yet they qualfied for the CL, it is signs of good things to come for Newcastle and their fans, and they wouldn't find it too difficult to attract quality players this summer. Tonali is a very good signing for the club and i'm pretty sure there are more players to come, though it would be unwise if they change too much from the team that achieved so much last season, a few additions is enough to complement their success and achieve more.

Tonali even broke the record as the most expensive player in the Italian league. Newcastle United brought Tonali from AC Milan at a price of 70 million Euros with a 5-year contract until 2028. While defending AC Milan, Sandro Tonali has provided five goals and three assists in the 2021/2022 season.
Then, in the 2022/2023 season, Sandro Tonali contributed 10 assists.
Previously, the record for the most expensive purchase of Newcastle United was held by Alexander Isak in the transfer market last summer.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any advice for invest my first 600$ in altcoins? on: July 03, 2023, 06:05:24 AM
Hi just new to here. I want to know what are the good altcoins that can be invest and forget until 2026. I'm currently thinking to spend around 600$ for altcoins. Right now I'm holding BNB & ETH only as altcoins. Don't say buy BTC cuz already have nice amount since 2010.

Is it good to invest in HOOk, SUI , ARB or ID altcoins? Since they are new just thought to give a try. Thank you

Oh man..if you ask in here people will just shill you their own bag..

Just go for ETH/BNB/SOL for the major and do your own research, in the past weeks some sectors gains more than others one. So focus on the major and looks for the clue like coingecko and stuff for any other clue.

Well that's what will happen, someone will only give what they fill in their bag and not what is really good to invest. ETH, BNB, SOL and others are the top coins and these are the coins that almost all the members here recommend. Moreover, ETH is the main altcoin that I choose for the long term. The $600 that OP has is quite large, it will give him an advantage if he holds a potentially good coin in the future. so focusing on research and looking at the various leads on websites like Coingecko and Coinmarketcap is the first thing to do.
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 will determined bitcoin fate on: July 03, 2023, 05:26:08 AM
~snip~Now, because many people have witnessed that as time goes on, everyone has seen that the value of bitcoin in this regard has not decreased but rather increased, so it can be said that it is good for long-term investment and many investors are do it now and in the future to come actually.

Over time the price of Bitcoin goes up and there is also a decrease (of course). Price fluctuations will put pressure on investors whether they are strong enough to hold up to high prices or not. Bitcoin is a good main digital asset for the long term. Not without reason, looking at the history of Bitcoin so far, Bitcoin is quite promising for the long term. Reaching a new ATH is Bitcoin's goal when it comes to Halving events. We just have to see if Bitcoin is able to achieve it or not and at least hold on to some Bitcoins for the long term.
