441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CASHOUT OR NOT???? on: December 01, 2023, 04:57:53 PM
Please guys I need your advice, the first game starts in a couple of hours and I still can't decide on what to do right now.

If you are already happy on the payout amount offered to you then cash out to solve immediately your confusion on what to do and to guarantee profit. But if you can accept with or without the full money then playing it because after all you dedicated your time and effort just to analyze the game.

It’s really up to you on how you accept things because you shouldn’t have this kind of problem if you are only risking what you can afford to lose. It seems like the amount of bet and the potential profit is already too mich that’s why it’s giving you a hard time.
442  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing BC.Game Support Team: Building Trust and Transparency on: December 01, 2023, 12:44:08 PM

I really wish this were true, about being "all about the player".   I am not going to get into the details of my case publicly right now  (BC is certainly aware of it)  But my experience has been terrible.   I have been ignored and blown off, and when I finally received some communication it was just more dragging of the feet, with everyone claiming it wasn't in their hands to resolve it, despite multiple people at BC admitting that mistakes were made.  It seems BC was only interested in resolving a few high profile complaints here for PR purposes.

Now is your best chance to be heard since BC.Game started this mass resolution to all pending cases against them as long as it doesn’t involved any abuse with their promotion. If @efialtis acknowledged your case then it means that you have a good chance to establish your case to bc.game

Start your own scam accusation thread on the reputation board and let Bc.game check it and discuss publicly so that forum members can check all the valid points to determine who’s right or wrong.

It’s necessary to share your case in public so that we can understand what’s really the problem.

444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we need to have a stop loss if we are 100% positive about a trade? on: November 30, 2023, 12:14:18 PM
I would like to know that what you guys think about stop-losses, and how often you guys use stop-losses to avoid getting huge losses in your trades?

Stop loss is used to avoid unexpected drop on the price that will inflict you unexpected losses. There’s always a chance that an opposite result will come even if you are 100% positive on your investment since you don’t know what’s happening behind your investment.

Stop loss will not hurt you if you knew how to setup it properly. Also if you are positive on your investment then you don’t have to worry about your stop loss since it will not be hit according to your belief. It’s like some insurance but is free which means you have nothing to lose when you use it but it will save your investment once unexpected dip happen when you are not active.
445  Other / Meta / Re: DT is centalized or decentralized? Poll on: November 30, 2023, 11:48:08 AM
Decentralized since no single person controlling it.

Everything is done via discussion on public thread and everyone can give their opinion about the subject not that it happened without any prior notice or discussion. The system is completely decentralized but some people might fight find it centralized if the unanimous decision is not in their favor.

PS: My opinion is not related to Ratimov because I don’t follow the full context of the issue. This is for the general use of the trust system.
446  Other / Meta / Re: My LB do not have a merit source. on: November 30, 2023, 11:35:50 AM
-

Our LB(Pilipinas doesn’t any merit source either but we are still active in there for local discussion even though merit distribution is not that high compared to the traffic we are giving to the forum.

Your board has a lot of merit sharing activities which I’m not sure the need for the urgency on merit source while most of the user on your LB has no problem distributing merits without any source.

But I hope @Theymos will pick by himself a merit source one per local board just like what he did on the first merit source that he choose during the introduction of merit since merit source application is very hard to be approved these days.
447  Economy / Economics / Re: Black Friday deals and your plan to hold bitcoins. on: November 30, 2023, 11:02:35 AM
Have you purchased any item during this time?, was it a need or a want?
Did you have to use some or a significant amount of your bitcoins?

Blackfriday is a hoax sale of all time like in my country which companies is just using same discount price as the regular discount and just changing the tags a blackfriday sale with exaggerated discount percentage.

This kind of fake advertisement is worst scam to make people purchased item even though they didn’t need it. I rarely purchased just because of sales promotion but rather when I only needed the specific item anytime. Buying on sale will just make you do unnecessary purchase due to the fake discounts.
448  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰yummygame.io| Join NEW Crypto games! 🎉 on: November 30, 2023, 10:49:39 AM
I don't think we have something to discuss here because the site is not yet properly configured, we are just wasting our time here I recommend to OP to just lock the thread because you are encouraging redundant discussion because there are no features or rules, terms, or anything to discuss.

Agree to this.

@OP, What’s the point of having an early announcement if your platform will be online until January next year? This announcement board is dedicated for casino with active website already unless you are asking for suggestions and feedback to your future services then you should stated clearly on the thread.
449  Local / Pilipinas / Re: diskusyon tungkol sa Bitcoin ETF on: November 30, 2023, 01:24:02 AM

451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes betting is just ridiculous. Sometimes it is complete nonsense. on: November 29, 2023, 12:51:05 PM
I would not be much surprised that in 5 or 10 years we would really have such absurd betting options. And most important what scares me, that casinos will hide behind "there is a demand on such betting" and there really be people who will find this demanding.

You don’t need to wait for 5 to 10 years because Futuur provides a prediction in almost every aspect of life such as life on mars  to movie and politics specifics betting option.

The betting option that you provide is very special occasions just in case it will be a norm in the future since a world war will make the earth destroy in general due to the mass destruction weapon available in every rich country.
452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling are mainly for rich and lucky mind. on: November 28, 2023, 04:42:15 PM
For many gambling is just for entertainment so saying that it's for the rich and lucky people is just not right and ridiculous, everyone is allowed to play in casinos whether online or offline, as long as you are not violating the rules and the terms of the casinos, and besides there's no such as lucky mind, even the luckiest gambler suffers huge losses.

The casino will not ask you if you're rich or poor when you're joining their platform, the casinos or any gamblers will value their players as long as he is not cheating, cheaters are the only people who are not allowed to play in any gambling platforms.

Reading the whole content makes me realized that he is not pertaining to the literal exclusion of poor people gambling but rather he is just saying that gambling is for rich guy mind set because rich person usually think and strategized on his bets according to what he said.

Gambling is indeed for everyone regardless of your class but logically speaking poor people should stay away on it because it’s a literal money burning way of getting entertainment which poor people shouldn’t be affording with their limited money.
453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto resale trading strategy, P2P Does anyone trade like this? on: November 28, 2023, 03:18:18 PM
-

In the end, You just sell via limit order like type since you post an ad to the price that you desire and wait for someone to purchase your ads. This is same via limit order on spot by buying and selling on your desired price. I don’t see it as an arbitrage trading since you didn’t instantly liquidate your asset via P2P instead you still place an order and wait for someone to buy.

But your method is still effective in your case if people is will purchased above OTC price when they use card directly.
454  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I still hold the investment or sell it? on: November 28, 2023, 03:10:35 PM
I don't need the money anyway, if I sell my investment now I have to deposit this money in the bank again.
Don't sell off now because doing that can leave you in deep regret as we're going into a bull run. Hodl your Bitcoin till after the halving in 2024 if you still have the urge to sell off. Otherwise, it's better to wait longer after halving for the momentum that will expectedly lead to a new ATH in 2025. By the way, you've just around $150 in Bitcoin. That isn't much if you asked me. You should find a way of buying more at every price correction from now till before its halving.

Exactly! He will be missing a lot of opportunities if he sell now while Bitcoin Halving or the new ATH is not yet reached. He also mention about not needing the money even if he will sell it so it means that he knew the answer to his question but probably just have a mixed feeling on holding or selling due to the volatility of Bitcoin which I understand since it’s really tempting to sell when you see that your holdings is already have profit.
455  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Kalimutan ang tungkol sa exchanger search! Gumamit ng BestChange! on: November 26, 2023, 04:48:28 PM

456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: November 26, 2023, 04:26:42 PM
Rather than gambling when they are lonely, they should think about activities that can benefit them. And it actually depends on the person because if he doesn't feel lonely even when he's alone, he won't start gambling just to get rid of his loneliness. He knows that gambling is not the solution to relieve his loneliness, so he will start thinking about what he can do. But if the person does not want to think about what can be done and thinks about gambling, there is a possibility that he will start gambling, and when he finds pleasure in gambling, he will probably continue gambling and will not stop gambling. It would be dangerous for him because he could lose all his money just for gambling. That's why when we are lonely, we have to think of ways to keep ourselves busy by doing something so that our minds don't think about gambling.

Once you hook with gambling you will think of playing it in every possible way such as being lonely or alone. Thinking about different activities while you have a choice of gambling that you can play immediately will surely guves you an easy answer to your loneliness.

Sometimes lack of social activity is what makes gambling very popular destination of lonely people since they don’t need to interact with kther people just to be happy. But this is only applicable to those who have gambling experience and not with person that non-experienced on gambling.
457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who should own a demo account? on: November 26, 2023, 04:11:04 PM
Do you as an experienced trader that has made profit from the market repeatedly, do you still have a demo account for trying out new strategies?

I’m not a pro trader nor newbie but I never use demo account until now because I’m not a hardcore trader that trading every price movement or in regular basis.

Trader can simply use small amount as test trade using their own account since trading with real money involved has different impact on decision making instead of using fake money.
458  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: November 25, 2023, 05:09:50 PM
That's not completely accurate because there are a lot of casino platforms with fiat gateways or on-ramp options for gamblers but they still don't ask for KYC for smaller amounts and will only start questioning if either the amount is high or the user is suspected to be doing activities they weren't supposed to be doing and then the KYC is imposed over the player and the player has other option but to comply with the rule and go ahead and complete the KYC verification.

As per the law especially EU and other strict country, Any involvement of fiat to a services especially gambling is required to do KYC  in general no matter what is the amount. This is the downside of accepting fiat payment because KYC is always attached to it for AML policy satisfaction.

But I think that's not what bothers gamblers the most, what they dislike is the fact that casinos don't ask for it at the beginning and they start demanding it after the player has won some and decided to withdraw the funds because that's when the gambler is most vulnerable and they don't want any sort of trouble.

This is a nonsense argument by gamblers since ToS indicates that before they register which they willingly accept when they create an account. It’s absurd to complain to something that you accept.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 25, 2023, 04:42:35 PM
Not too much happening in the NBA today but the Thunder with their surprisingly good record to start the season are playing against the 76ers. That should be a decent game. No televised games today though. The Mavericks and Clippers might be another decent matchup as the Clippers try to build momentum on their few wins lately.

Chet and SGA is a monster duo which can give a toe to toe match against Phila that is now hot team too since the departure of “the system. Cheesy

I’m excited to watch Chet play against a physical center like Embiid to see on how he can deal with raw strength with his skinny body. OKC seems in perfect form now that Chet is healthy and contributes well to help SGA.

Clippers vs Dallas? Dallas will surely massacre defenseless clips.

460  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop loss ? on: November 25, 2023, 04:36:17 PM
how do you use a stoploss

Different website have different option of stop loss feature because they add some minor modification for setup which is confusing for newbie user like you.

But to make it simple. Stop loss purposes is self explanatory, it’s use to limit your losses by setting up the price which you accept loss in case it hits by the market price. Most the exchange just let you input the price to place an advance order to sell your asset at loss when the market price hits it.
