Fyi... first post and I am really new to this. I'm a student with about a grand to put into different coins and I heard about ETH and have been doing some research lately. So I decided to put some of that amount into the SNT contribution and kept trying a number of times through MyEtheriumWallet. How do I see if my transaction went through? Been trying all day. My ETH addr is 0x5282d5B8dD8284D07f8157E1FC975c3f60eD9672 - if anyone can help me figure out if it has gone through I'd really appreciate it. I know it's probably a small amount to a lot of you, but I am stressing over it  Any links or help would be deeply appreciated ! Just wait until all the new batches of cards arrive at stores. people will start buying them like crazy and the hashrate will go to space.
The current hashrate jump is probably because many gamers and people who own GPUs got into mining because it got to mainstream news recently.

Thanks. Any more opinions? You can mine ethereum but the profitability will be lower. Zcash should get you 500H/s which is the second fastest hashrate on a GPU. |

Build 7-GPU Polaris rigs (RX 480/470 or their rebrands), this setup should yield the best hashrates for the money, if you can get your hands on those cards.

Ethereum will go PoS eventually, losing a few percent is not a big deal. Those Polaris chips will continue to be great for any other crypto.

Are you using modded BIOSes? Ethereum is crowded with Polaris chips, zcash might still be worth it for Nvidia cards.

I found online that Hong Kong has it for approx $1000AU but shipping is quite expensive, and all the ones I see in Aus is roughly $1300.

ETC is essentially the same as ETH, so it will be the easiest to migrate to after it goes PoS.

they did asked their token to be upgraded though, if they were to scam then why go all these troubles and the whole lot of bullshit. they could have just runaway by now. no one yet has knew them even after them being on the coinfest.
You and me know that the same has happened with Opair, he didn't run (for some reason) and released a POS wallet. |

Is it possible to make a paper wallet yet so I'm 100% sure noone can reach my coins?
Sorry but paper wallet functionality is not available yet. He can easily use MyEtherWallet and print the private key on a few papers, many ethereum wallets offer paper wallet functionalities. |

 i have tried everything my other rig runs 6 cards perfect same mobo, bios, setting ect. does any one have any ideas to try. this rigs runs fine mining vert with ccminer but on claymore it wont power past 40%.... Have you checked the power delivery? does it work well with other coins, for example, zcash? what's the PSU? |

I wouldn't recommend it. In a dual PSU setup, the PSU that just powers the VGA power inputs uses more power than the main PSU powering the motherboard, all of the risers and accessories. A 500W PSU also won't have all the PCI-E or SATA cables you need for all the GPU's. I would recommend getting at least a 750W PSU for the GPU's and a 650W for the motherboard. That should give you enough power for up to six cards and all the connectors you need. Just make sure it's at least a gold rated PSU from a good brand like EVGA or Corsair.
I agree. go for a 1000W PSU without hesitating, even if you have to order it online. |
