Probably my lack of understanding, but how is the amount of shares affected by hashrate?  I started with producing 40k shares per shift and now at 35k per shift average.  I know that # of bitcoin paid per share decreases by difficulty, but how is the number of shares produced decreased as well.  That is what I don't understand.
or for us simpletons, same amount of pizza, now there are just more mouths around that pizza, and some have bigger mouths than others too....lol...

BITMAIN/SUSHI,

I know you are extremely busy, but unfortunately I am to add to your work. I ordered 6 units from bitmaintech.com and paid for 6 units, but the tracking number you gave me only showed 4 boxes shipped, and now those 4 boxes with only 4 units has arrived.
I have PM'd both bitmain and sushi, and I know this will get resolved, hoping it is sooner rather than later.....

just a few of my experiences, it used to be you would get the miner first then the shipping info...then you would get an email with  tracking and unit would arrive like same day....I think that their increased business has now put a lag on that...to where now you pretty much get an email when the unit hits UPS....

anyone else care to opine here??

You guys are sure worked up about this whole thing with Jupiters -- WHY?

Perhaps KnC doesn't want to sell Jupiters for the "current" going rate.

Also why be so tied to one vendor?  I've owned Avalon, BFL, KnC, ASICMiner, Bitfury, and ANTMiner.

Remember you can get ANTs shipped this week for $2K for 200GH draws about 410W while my 260GH Saturn took 340W (@wall) - really the power savings of a KnC isn't enough to warrant additional cost...

So the real question is would KnC price Jupiters reasonably - I mean within 10 days 200GH will only be worth $1500 or less...
I'll give you $1500 for your 200GH/s in 10 days!!

i'll take those last 2, thanks crazyguy

DVC/IXC are likely coming near the end of the month.  Not a high priority (they're essentially worthless).  I've been finishing up the new stratum backend this week, and have now done a full test for share submissions/logging and solving blocks on testnet.  It has also been holding strong on the botnet/ddos filtering server, with very low resource usage.  It will likely be going live on one of the BTC Guild backend servers tomorrow, and once it has solved a few blocks, live on the remaining backends.
hey @el,

think similar was said about namecoin, then btcguild implemented it and then btc skyrocketed and nmc rode btc's coattail from cents to dollars....
I think btcguild helped give namecoin some street cred....

maybe same can happen with those others??

NMC had/has a purpose.  DVC/IXC are just garbage coins.  Big difference.
had?

I'm still not a huge fan of NMC itself.  It had a good idea.  It does still work.  But the implementation feels so terribly inefficient for what it's being used for.

However, at least it had a good idea, and does have a purpose outside of market speculation (even if bulk of its price is pure speculation).  DVC/IXC have no such redeeming qualities.
thanks @el

And the latest batch is sold out!
Shocked shit that was quicker than people were speculating here.  Shocked Now hopefully we will get an update on production.  fingers crossed...
I am starting to think about electrical wiring and cooling....so a little warning from KNC would be nice....but alas KNC does little talking instead opting for ALOT OF WALKING.....guess i prefer the walking and let all those others do the talking (a la hashnot, coinNevera, and alpha Yeah right)

pretty risky with 30% diff coming in a week (sign of the times).  I would be a buyer @ 1.5, anything higher isn't worth the hassle.
pdawg, is there anything out there 'worth the hassle?'
