wrong info. If you go to SuperCoin thread, not only it has devs, but they are working on the next generation of anonymous wallet system SuperCoin is the exception then. I just went in and out of the top 10 threads here and the coins are dead or on the way out. |

edit: I literally looked through the top 10 postings here and every other comment near the end of the coin thread has " is this coin dead?" ....
hell maybe I'll just create a new thread and do it myself ....because its so fucking annoying....

Hello DopeCoin community,I’ve been in touch with Dopey and want to give an update on what has been going on and what is planned for the future but first..... - He isn't in prison or dead
- He hasn't given up on the project and here is what is needed.
We are currently looking for a lead dev. for this coin as the one in charge for DopeCoin returned from vacation and has decided to step away from the crypto world all together. So the plan is to find a lead dev. so if you know anyone or you yourself wants to get in touch with us please do at: dopecoin@gmail.com . All funding i.e. server fees, development fees are still a go. Dopey, would like to be side by side with some kick-ass dev. for this kick-ass DopeCoin. Of course, the big thing that is needed is coin mixing technology so if you know someone who is good in this area it would be helpful. Any concerns just reply back here or send me a private message! PhantomPhreak - Yes, it seems like all those issues can be easily fixed with Counterparty. And yes, using BTC was part of the problem, but I only used BTC because I first tried to buy XCP (using BTC) at the market price and the order never completed, so after 3 hours I gave up and tried it using BTC instead.
This idea isn't going to work . CounterParty just introduced a BUTTload more complexity onto Bitcoin. People still don't even get what Bitcoin is let alone some confusing thing called Counterparty! Plus, most of this is highly illegal. Just setting up a database for the SEC to go after ? Good idea in general, but it will fail miserably. |

That's neat but would that mean the winner of that contest was known as Miss Dope Seems a bit off although I guess the winner here would be Miss Bit Still a cool contest though and a good example that it could be based on Yes, Miss DopeCoin. Obviously, that was for DopeCoin. But , if people wanted to do something like a Miss Bitcoin that works. Also, I have the models who wanted to participate still interested and would enter this contest for Miss Bitcoin if we want. |

Can anyone confirm that Dopey is alive and not in jail?
Looking into to it .... I guess its time to get rid of it all ?  I'll wait till July 1st then yes.... What if Dopey is in jail, but gets released in August and starts working on DopeCoin again? Not gunna lie that would be awesome! but I don't believe its going to happen. I think its over  |

It will be pumped one day, the same like POTcoin, so be smart and just add some coins Maybe it will be pumped like Potcoin, but Potcoin has been up for like a week now. The developer has been active. Dopey was very active. When it came to activity, he was right up there with the Potcoin team. Now the Twitter hasn't even been updated in almost two months. Dopecoin Reddit is dead compared to Potcoin's Reddit. To be fair, Dopey has done more than his share of work. It may be time for the community to move the coin forward. This all can't fall on the developer. I still believe in both coins(I'm holding all my coins), but Dopecoin only has a cap of $22,000 and like $100 worth of activity. +1 Indeed push it to the moon. Saw the same thing you are seeing and totally agree with your assessment . I'm dumping a few hundred dope in the meantime. |
