What's mechanical or different about it compared to others? It just looks like a keyboard with LEDs to me. It's been a while since I used anything other than a laptop anyway.

I've got a thing for redheads and Irish accents, so a ginger Irish woman would be perfect. Southern Irish, not Northern Irish, though  Grin.

Dude, I understand the rollbacks, but can you decide on one thing and stick to it?

It's like every week or two we have less and less benefits.  I understand it's free BTC, but it really isn't cool that you slowly keep taking them from us.

Trying to stop abusers is going to take a lot of trial and error. When you offer something for free or levels that can be achieved people will try abuse it for their own benefit. It's all about trying to find a workable solution whilst trying not to get robbed blind. It's sad that people try abuse these things but it's bound to happen so they need to try limit it as best they can.

So a newb signs up to post this and doesn't even show a screenshot and people believe it  Roll Eyes. What's the opposite of fud? False hype?
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins are killing Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency as a whole on: October 25, 2014, 08:59:31 AM
Altcoins aren't killing bitcoin or crypto at all. Altcoins will kill themselves eventually because it'll get to the point where people just get tired of the same crap over and over. The best way to deal with all these alts is to just ignore them.
466  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-10-24] Saxo Bank Event Panel: Block Chain Intriguing, Bitcoin a Fad on: October 24, 2014, 11:05:13 AM
It's unstable as a currency currently, but that could change and regardless of that people are still using and transacting in it, but you can't really have the blockchain without the bitcoins as there'd be no reason for people to even operate the mining otherwise.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal screw up again [Bitcoin wins] on: October 24, 2014, 09:41:38 AM
Paypal will loose merchants because of this because chargebacks are going on merchant's expense. They are so stupid.

Well if this is the case merchants should refuse to accept Paypal, but they probably wont. Isn't this 180 day limit similar to the timeframe you get with creditcards? I think if people are going to pull of a charegback scam they would do it within a month as opposed to waiting 100+ days anyway.
468  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] (Staff Only) Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: October 24, 2014, 09:14:51 AM
A fixed rate deal would not do anything to stop spamming. If the campaign were to payout .1 for 50 posts then people would try to quickly spam their way to 50 posts on one account, then use a 2nd account to spam their way to 50 posts, and continue this process until they either run out of accounts or the payment period is up.

You very rarely see people spamming on the fixed rate deals, and if they are just report them. People don't have an endless supply of Senior accounts they can just move on to the next when they do their 50 posts or even get banned.

This means that if an account gets banned for spamming on a fixed rate deal, they still potentially can use other accounts to spam (assuming they do not mind risking getting caught ban evading), where as if the campaign operates on a pay per post structure then a user will have less of an incentive to have multiple accounts and if their "spam" account gets banned then they can no longer spam.

This makes no sense at all.
469  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: October 22, 2014, 12:26:51 PM
Campaign Name: (Bitcoin Bond)
Payment period: Monthly, 23rd of every Month
Minimum posts: 50 posts/month
Payments: J: 0.01 BTC, M:0.03 BTC, S & Above: 0.05 BTC
Miscellaneous: People with negative trust can not participate.

Isn't this another ponzi? I wouldn't bother with this unless they escrow, but even then I still wouldst promote these scams.
470  Other / Off-topic / Re: Am I the only girl on here? : ( on: October 22, 2014, 12:22:31 PM

I've heard that so many times since I joined lol. But seriously it would be great to change that skepticism into acceptance for us girls if more and more of us join up and speak up instead of hiding behind a male nickname forever, which is a pretty sad prospect if u think about it.

The skepticism is there for a reason because the only time people announce themselves as female is usually just to pretend that they are. There's no reason to believe you are a female either regardless or your instance that you are one. I think a better way for women to get involved would be to not come out and announce that they're female straight away and maybe not even mention it at all unless it needs to be because gender is irrelevant here.

Usually but not always, not in my case anyway. I wish I could kill that skepticism concept, well I've been here for many weeks now and I haven't asked for any loans or scammed anyone, so far so good Smiley

That's only because if you did you know you'd be called out straight away with it and get negative feedback faster than you could say there's sand in my vagina. Most 'female' scammers would probably wait a while and try groom their victims before trying a scam. If I was you I'd forget this thread and let it die and just carry on posting as you normally would, because like I said your gender is irrelevant here unless you are wanting to use it to your advantage for whatever reasons.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Redundancy check bitcoin adress on: October 22, 2014, 11:00:55 AM
Well you can title/name addresses on blockchain.info. Whilst bitcoin was designed to be as vod described above I think being able to name addresses for things like this would have its benefits for those who wanted to use this feature.
472  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for signature Campaigns on: October 22, 2014, 10:15:43 AM
Signature campaigns aren't really worth it for anyone below the Member rank but the 0.1 deals for Seniors are great. It's an easy way to acquire a little bit of bitcoin for something you would do anyway.

You could always search "Signature Campaign" in the Services section, that's how I found the BitBiz.io campaign.

Finally found the thread, here it is: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

It lists many of the signature campaigns and there requirements. By the looks of it, there are 3 campaigns that you can be part of.

Thanks! That list was really helpful and I found a great sig Campaign!

That is a really helpful list and I didn't know it existed! Thanks from here as well.
[/quote]

It really is a useful thread and is kept up to date by bitcoininformation with a little help from the community.

You've been wondering for a good 4 weeks now...

Lol no need to wonder or make a big deal out of this, I'm just a normal girl, no scamming/bitwhoring, just normal forum activities Smiley
It is advisable not to advertise the fact that you are a girl as people will tend to look at you with a bit of skepticism as there are few girls that are involved in bitcoin and many guys

I've heard that so many times since I joined lol. But seriously it would be great to change that skepticism into acceptance for us girls if more and more of us join up and speak up instead of hiding behind a male nickname forever, which is a pretty sad prospect if u think about it.

What does it happen to me if I won't pay you back?

You'll become a scammer and publicly marked as so.
475  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think of my latest rap song on: October 20, 2014, 01:01:09 PM
That's not a song, is it? Where's the music? It's a bunch of words by a troll.
476  Other / Off-topic / Re: Give me your money, again, for an automated grocery store on: October 20, 2014, 12:51:53 PM
Are you asking for an investment from people or just putting out your business plan for critique? I think your figures / profit are a bit optimistic to be honest. Reminds me of everyone who goes on Dragon's Den as they're never realistic.
477  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-10-19] Bitcoin Blockchain Initial Sync Time Dramatically Reduced on: October 20, 2014, 12:26:41 PM
This is actually great news as the synch time was very off putting for me as a newb, but I agree with others that people should be encouraged to use a different light client for a number of reasons/.
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: October 20, 2014, 12:24:28 PM
I used to use them alot but not anymore. I plan to save them for the next 20 years!

I like your optimism. I plan on saving them for a couple of years at least, but for how long depends on what the price is at and what you can buy with them at that point. I'd love to be able to spend them directly on things i really want or need.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is better than Apple Pay? on: October 20, 2014, 12:22:21 PM
They are two completely different beasts. Apple pay is just another fiat payment processor whereas bitcoin is something that is completly revolutionary. Sadly Applepay will be adopted much quicker because there's not much that needs to be changed and it has the giant Apple behind it, but hopefully people will see the benefits of btc over time.
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin...was created for? on: October 20, 2014, 11:59:13 AM
BitCoin is good but it is not totally anonymous.

How can you say that? Maybe the best factor for me about BTC is the concept of anonymity. I got interested in it because of that. Why can you say that btc is not at all anonymous?

It's not totally anonymous but it is kinda when you compare it to a fiat bank account, but the level of anonymity it gives depends on how safe and careful you are with it.
