Well if you have the right memory make on the 1660S those numbers are possible.  See a lot doing 34mhs with -1000 memory on that card.  The higher memory speeds are too loose and by decreasing its quite impressive.  So before you all go jumping on the guy realize MMPOS has quite a bit of these in benchmarks and bragging sections.  Of course silicon lottery helps.  But 35-36 is possible.

Miner29 can you pls share the type of memory your gtx1660 super is using? I have hynix memory 1660super and now even get closer to 32mh, getting 35mh per 1660super will be a real game changer, meaning with 3 pieces of gtx1660 super you are already at 100MH+

1660S with Samsung memory: P0 -200/1080/2000/70W and getting 32.93MH at 65W reported. Highest result with lowest consumption.
Obviously increasing power usage will add a few hash.

1660S with Hynix  -150 core, -1002 mem

Best to lock Pstate to 0 for these cards.

That hashes from 33-35 are all dependent on the silicon lottery but over all the 1660Supers are great little cards for eth.

Hi...Iīm just new to mining and I have a question about Phoenixminer Screen.
I always see on screenshots that the miner info is colored for diferent infos.
Mine is just pure white and itīs hard to read...
Can someone help?

PS... I canīt post the screenshot here...

How are you viewing this?  Win or Linux?  On actual display from rig or via SSH?
Give us more info...ive had this problem with some terminal programs via SSH but resolved by changing either settings on terminal or by switching (if it was windows).

Set it to x16 gen3 if it will let you.
try gen2 and gen1 as well.
If you are running nvme try a usb drive.

It's working!!! Changed the CPU power cable for another and now working with no issues yoooo LFG!!!!! Lol

I'm sure I'll have some problems when trying to make the 5 GPUs work but I'll handle it. For now I have some super annoying sound in the middle fan of both my 1070 tis (part of the reason I didn't sell them couple years ago) but other than that I think I'll be able to run then smoothly!!! Super excited to mine some, I used to do awesome miner with MPH back in the day, if there are better options in all ears! Let's fucking go!!! lol

Great result sir...and dont worry about the hater above...at some point he had to learn too...shame he doesnt remember what its like.

The Etherium DAG is at 4.15GB right now, so any video card with 4GB will not do well when it comes to mining Etherium.   The card itself might be able to borrow from main system memory to work, but performance will be severely degraded.

Other types of mining can be done on 4GB, but Etherium will be problematic.

thanks for replay mate, so which one do u suggest for me? also im just a beginner and wanted to test with my current car and have plan to buy RTX 3070.
Also can u tell me how can I dedicate system memory to this mining proccess for better result?

Lolminer does it automatically but the trick is the 4gb card must be in the long x16 primary slot and must have x16 pcie lanes to fully utilize.

whattomine.com can answer the question it is named for and you ask.

Also try to keep your reply out side the [ / quote ] so it can be seen as your reply.... and not part of the original quote Wink

Sumcoin current price with no liquidity in market    $0.058343

CMC doesnt even track it due to lack of any real market.

You sure some pool like mining pool hub didnt just create a new wallet?

I dont see anyone else with 15TH/s showing up....

IMO, that GPU is useless at mining nowadays. You just waste your time setting up the configuration. And if you trying to mine ETH, just forget it man, to mine ETH you need at least 6GB or higher  Cheesy

At least 4gb (5gb without lolminer tricks)...to mine eth.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Out of memory on CUDA device? on: April 03, 2021, 12:33:43 AM
I suspect it may have a 13pin vga d-shell on the back...if it does it is not a 1060.

:: RVN hashate on TRM ::

I am getting 14/15Mh's with:

 - RX 470
 - RX 480
 - RX 570
 - RX 580

Does anyone know the hashrates for:

 - RX 550
 - RX 560

I already have searched and found a video that the guy says he can make 7-10MH with RX 550 4gb. Is that correct?

i get around 7 on rvn with 560 but have a 550 on lol getting 11mhs on eth in super zombie mode x16 slot.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Problematic card - need some help on: March 31, 2021, 08:04:47 PM
There is one thing that Nicehash did so right and that's the ability to low power consumption right in the mining software dashboard or application on your smartphone, this feature is automatically set off, you can on it in miner software settings, very handy

Thats not just nice hash all the mining os's do that and they do a lot more.....
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PSU Question on: March 31, 2021, 08:01:37 PM
285 is not exceeded.
It‘s 310 for the whole card and 50-60 from the Slot. So only 250 from the wires

Each CHAIN...doesnt matter if its 1 / 2 /3 connectors on that wire chain from the psu it is limited to 285watts.

3090 TDP 350W
3080 TDP 320W
3080 TDP 320W

Per Techpowerup.

Thats 990W just to GPUS.  PSU is 850W.  You have the potential to overload the PSU for sure.  Get a 1000W or bigger or dont run all 3 off the single psu.

The GX850 comes with 3 dual PCIe cables 6 connectors....you have 7 plugs not counting risers.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: lolminer rx570 very low hashrate problem on: March 31, 2021, 04:58:12 PM
yes its eth and it should be over 16Mh at least as epoch 404:
https://cryptomining-blog.com/12601-updated-zombie-mode-for-amd-radeon-rx-470-570-and-rx-480-580-4gb-gpus-for-ethereum-mining/

*PS: is there any compute mode in linux to be enabled trough mmpos?

Linux doesnt have compute mode and doesnt need it.  Most likely this is because of the cpu and chipset on the board.  Try swapping it. with a rig that gives full hash.  If so then its a lack of PCIe lanes as this is what slows down Zombie mode.  You need a full 16 pcie lanes to get the full speed.  So google the cpu for how many pcie lanes and then look in mobo manual and see what else uses and shares lanes.

I have a few boards that cant provide the full lanes and others that can.  Those with 16x to the slot achieve full speed the others do not.

Thanks, how much are you getting for rx580 4gb now?

25-26mhs currently.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: March 31, 2021, 04:54:41 PM
After a while I have found the problem... SATA power for the risers... is not a good combo.. So after changing those the rig was stable..
Now with replacing some of the cards for newer ones we have new challenges... ;-)  Thanks for the support.. really appreciated.

Sata raisers are better than molex raisers (sata power connectors usually have much less issues with bad connectivity than molex) and are good for pcibus power hungry polaris refs

Okay, I think our problem at first was that I connected to many risers to 1 SATA cable, but I also read online that SATA was kind of restricted to something like 9A and Molex near 22A. Therefore I believed it would be beter to have the risers connected to a molex cable and also connect not more than 2 risers per cable. Since I have two bad connectors now on my PSU I can not connect every riser to its own molex cable, I had to fit 2 on one cable. So far this seems to hold. (not overheat)
Soon I will have all the risers connected via PCI-e....

I came along another "challenge"..... After I saw a high number of rejected shares for only 1 card I altered (lowered) the VMR and wanted to restart the Phoenixminer, but when I did this it "noticed" a third (ghost) card (RX5700XT while we only have 2 actual RX5700XT in the rig) on position 2 in the list of cards and the number of usuable mining cards was also added with 1. ..... It does not show in the windows devicemanager list..

Any ideas what could have caused this?

Your maximum Amperage is completely wrong.  Here is a complete listing of what connected can handle max.  Note that in your example you are saying 264watts to molex....when in fact it is no where near that...see guide here...stay safe and dont melt or burn stuff....

478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Question about miner difficulty on: March 31, 2021, 01:16:27 PM
Should be d=512 they work separately.

But more importantly have you considered that all 4 only earn $0.02 per day combined BEFORE electricity.

Why bother?
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Question about riser power cables on: March 31, 2021, 01:13:07 PM
Try as much as possible to avoid any s-ata adapter or even molex adapter connection for powering up risers! Sooner or later, it will get melted.
S-ata powers are good until around 25watts consumption (for biggest hard disk), but PCI-e adapter can consume more than 80 watts when delivering 75 watts to graphic card.
The best riser power supply connection, is directly PCI-E 6 pin connector plugged into it.

Hi,

Is it safe to use 6 pin 3x splitter ? I'd like to buy custom made 6 pin splitter 1 x 3 for risers.

No that would be over the wattage limit of a 6 pin....

see here and dont cheat on wattage or expect melted wires and burned mess.....

480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PSU Question on: March 31, 2021, 01:09:55 PM
Good way to melt you wiring,

Max per cable chain for the whole chain is 285watts.

You are exceeding that...this is melting and fires start.

See here for cable limitations...there are no shortcuts.....just shorting....
