461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Sushi Dump CZ reply with Highly risk especially on Defi project ?? Agree ? on: September 07, 2020, 02:09:55 PM
I think it was unethical behavior from Binance to list coins without knowing the founder of the project and risk the investors.
Anyway, Defi is having huge hype these days and newbies are investing without knowing at all. It has been always with the trend/hype. If you check the yearn finance, you will see how much manipulation is there; still some people are investing.
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees (in sats/kb). Sunday, Saturday are best to move BTC on: September 07, 2020, 01:57:26 PM
Do they keep as profit a greater proportion of what their users during times of low blockchain activity?
They pay higher fees all the time as mentioned above by tranthidung to ensure that customers are getting faster confirmation. I never faced any late confirmation with Binance. Well, never checked how much they pay in term of current fee, I think they pay as per the recommendation for getting confirmation in the next block.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees (in sats/kb). Sunday, Saturday are best to move BTC on: September 06, 2020, 05:27:17 PM
Has anyone looked in to the fees big exchanges like Coinbase and Binance pay on their consolidation and withdrawal transactions? How much do they alter with the size of mempool? Obviously they charge the same flat fee all the time to their customers, but do they pay 1 sat/vbyte when they can and just pocket the rest as profit?
Binance and most other exchanges I have used charge 0.0005 BTC per BTC withdrawal regardless of the Bitcoin transaction fee. They never lower the amount when fee is cheap but I'm sure they will charge higher once tx fee get increased significantly.
464  Economy / Services / Re: Buy Bitcoin Instantly Online with Simple KYC on: September 06, 2020, 05:22:58 PM
Simple KYC but with credit cards? Sounds nice.
465  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Cryptocurrency rates especially BTC Fluctuate so quickly? on: September 06, 2020, 08:17:07 AM
Rates are decided by the traders. At which price traders buy or sell = the current price of bitcoin. The reason behind fluactuations are speculation of the traders. If majority of the traders think BTC will go down, they start selling and so does some others do. As a result, the price decreases a lot and vice versa.
466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental Analysis or Technical Analysis - which is more important? on: September 06, 2020, 08:06:10 AM
You have to make the combination of both FA and TA to get the best output. Relying on only one will cause you loss eventually. In the past week, I believe a lot of TA buddies have lost huge amount of money despite they were having different signal on different crypto. So, if you don't combine both, you will have loss at some point.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / No hype is good on: September 06, 2020, 07:54:02 AM
ICO, IEO and now DeFi.
Have you seen that none of these are long existing? ICO created hype back in 2017, then IEO come into the ground and now it's time of DeFi. But with all of them, a lot of people were attracted and get scammed. It's not that easy to make money, dude. Don't run after anything which creates significant hype. Take time, observe and make decision. You have enough time to make profit.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance in trouble over listing scam defi token on: September 06, 2020, 07:41:07 AM
That's a shit that they had not go through kind of KYC for funder before listing a shit. I used to think that exchanges like Binance must keep records of project owner before they list it specially if the project is new. Now, this. This is really a shit from CZ. Now, CZ posting this shit even. They are not the best exchange anymore. Showed no responsibility to the customers.
469  Economy / Economics / Re: Rampant inflation, yet a steady exchange rate. on: September 05, 2020, 08:15:58 PM
my local pizza joint just raised their prices fairly significantly, so I think the effects of rampant money printing and/or COVID-19 are starting to show themselves.
The reason is less of printing money; there is shortage of pepperoni- a popular pizza topping. The price of pepperoni has increased to 50% even. Therefore, it's likely that either pizza supplier have to increase the price of pizza or have to change pepperoni supplier. Why don't you do the job? I mean upload your picture if necessary. It would never be a good idea for anyone to reveal their identity on such a fake account and risk themselves for any future occurrence. Also, I believe it's never a good idea to ask other people to verify your account.
471  Other / Meta / Re: Some URL tag changes that has to be made on: September 05, 2020, 04:37:15 AM
can have a different link inside - which mobile users can be affected.
It's true that in such a way people can be linked to different phishing link. If I'm correct, an user was once received a PM where sender tricked him to log in fake bitcointalk, designed same as bitcointalk log in landing page.
But if you are concerned enough although many are not, from mobile, you will never click link directly. Rather you will click and hold on to check what the link actually is.

473  Other / Meta / Re: Some URL tag changes that has to be made on: September 04, 2020, 12:56:42 PM
I think this have been discussed long ago. People should be aware of clicking any links anywhere, not even this place only. Also, I don't see a good solution for this. How can forum prevent this?
474  Other / Meta / Re: Should Bitcoin Wall Observer thread be deleted? on: September 04, 2020, 04:48:07 AM

The guy who made that post himself was a legendary in WO
Then that was a sarcastic post as they know there are some people who pretend to be WO thread lover and hunt for merits to achieve higher rank. I have seen a few people to receive merits from that thread but in reality they are just having focus to achieve the rank. Hope you got the sarcasm.
475  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 04, 2020, 04:35:05 AM
Hello WO gang, although I'm not active here, I love to visit WO thread times to times and enjoy reading the posts.
Here is a thread about deleting this thread, I would love you guys to defend on why you think this thread should be here, immutune forever.
Should Bitcoin Wall Observer thread be deleted?
476  Other / Meta / Re: Should Bitcoin Wall Observer thread be deleted? on: September 04, 2020, 04:30:01 AM
At least, active poster in WO thread are the real interested users/investors of bitcoin. Others outside WO thread are just here to get few bucks (most cases) by participating in signature campaign. Who are better? Of course WO gang in my opinion. They do not write shit for filling requirements of signature campaign, rather they post shit (may be or may not be) because they enjoy posting here.

"Guide to becoming a bitcointalk legendary-
1. Hangout on Wall Observer thread
I believe whoever has posted that was sarcastic or jealous of not getting merit. Sarcastic because WO gang knows there are some people who lurk in WO thread to hunt merits.
A side note- Very few I mean very very few people from WO thread participates in signature campaign. So, merit is just a number to them.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are you aware of these Top Five Decentralized Exchanges (DEXEs)? on: September 01, 2020, 05:40:16 PM
Never heard of balancer but your stats say it's one of the leading DEX. Although DEX is useful but people don't love them so much. I barely use any DEX unless I don't have an option.
Off topic- it seems like you are from Bangladesh. Can you PM me if you are.
478  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have BTC, Need LTC on: September 01, 2020, 05:29:01 PM
Need more LTC. If anyone have LTC to sell for BTC, please PM me. I'm ready to purchase at least two more LTC at the moment with all the previous conditions apply. I'm tired of newbies, don't PM me please if you can't send first or you are very much reputed here.
479  Other / Meta / Re: I know exactly when I will rank up! on: September 01, 2020, 05:26:00 PM
So you are lucky or unlucky Cheesy
I think there is a thread about observing who is hitting Legendary on which activity point. You can get the actual result from that thread, can't find the thread now.
Congrats in advance.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM GAS FEES MIGHT NEVER GO DOWN AGAIN on: September 01, 2020, 05:20:57 PM
Transaction fee has been increased because the number of tx in ETH blockchain has been increased which barely have anything to do with the price. Apart from that, ETH supply isn't limited which over the time will create deflation. I don't think we will see ETH $1000 anymore.
