I believe all these attempts to kill bitcoin are just marketing. These developers know they can't defeat bitcoin, they are just putting some pressure on the market to consolidate their altcoins in the top trends.
It's a smart idea anyway: they say a new bitcoin is being created, and just for having bitcoin on its name, the altcoin has already more chances to be in evidence than others, especially if they create a lot of polemical statements around it.

I wouldn't say that this was actually dip but it was correction. They are part of Bitcoin volatility and it's normal for them to happen. Although the price ihas moved forward again that doesn't mean that another correction wouldn't happen. Anyway, I think that price will continue to fluctuate going back and forth so don't be surprised with another correction.
OP's title is misleading, he is talking about the year+ long bear market not an actual "dip" since dips are usually small and short term. so we can call them corrections but the bear market is something more than just a correction it is mostly like an "over-correction" thanks to the extreme drops. I really think that short term traders have a little risk in not making their targets because of the range of their trading points, Yes this still count as gambling but with a little risk involved, And even though they are basing their assumptions on the previous market flow there is a high chance in winning by taking that chance than to do a long term trading.

To earn profit 100% in 2 month can be possible but depend on the your strategies and lucky. Big in terms of startups is rather the opposite. Startups start as small and then grow big with gradual expansion of team and infrastructure. Getting into an already established company makes your risk minimum but also harder to buy shares to since it is already saturated. The smaller newly created companies carry more risk but there is the good ROI over time. I admit the risk is big, but the new company has a shares price that is still very cheap and it can give you a large number of shares, if their startup develops well, of course the shares price will go up and that will be a huge profit for you, you can get thousands of ROI |

It's not bad to have a small reversal for just a week or so, it just means that people can buyback again after they sell their Bitcoin to a high price. I hope you understand what the market's been doing. It won't keep growing if all of the people are selling someone must have to buy too, in order to move the supply and demand of the market.
