PandaMarketer, are you still having the same problem connecting?

You might've tried to connect while I was doing something to the server today.

It's all good right now, thanks.

The site doesn't help newbies how to set up a miner.  Yours is the first that does not require a worker name to be prepended with login name. I was lost for like 10 seconds, lol.

I find the front end confusing.
463  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [50GH/sec] MineCo.in - LP,EU Server,SSL,JSON API,0% TAX on: June 26, 2011, 06:03:34 PM
Plus is correct, this refers to the transaction fees associated with the block, which are distributed on mineco.in.

I thought "fees" were the site's fees (or cut of the block). That's how no percentage pools work(ed).

Are the block fees (paid to the block finder/pool) always the same?
464  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining Bitcion using a FREE Windows OS! on: June 25, 2011, 12:14:38 PM
I wish I could get boot-from-USB-key and mine set up, in any OS, no matter if it's genuine or not. I tried this one, and linuxcoin. Very confusing, and a lot of down time wasted.  I need another rig to test on. catch 22.

Thanks. Very informative.  Can I give you 0.005 btc?

Hey, I like your front end!
467  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Are you interested in a turn-key hosted public/private pool service? on: June 25, 2011, 09:53:10 AM
Ant other thoughts or ideas?

Yes.  How will your customer be able to be in control? What type of back-end will you be providing? What about FTP/cPanel etc?

What kind of pricing are you ball-parking?  Would you consider a percentage per block? Would you take BTC as payment?  Would there be a contract/lease?  Do you have experience running a pool?

The most important one is the price point.

Good Idea.

I give up. What is pool hopping?

Can't seem to access your front end to register.

The connection has timed out

The server at pool.bloodys.com is taking too long to respond.

I have 22Mh to share (on my every day computer using ATI 4650).
Do you want small miners to see how it handles? LMK.

How about the three bars? ≡ (alt+240)

It looks like horizontal "bits" or 1's.

bitcoinprofits.us is where I will be launching an info product about bitcoins, for marketers.  "Make money with bitcoins" kinda stuff.  But first, they must know what it is, and what it isn't.

Davinci is busy hanging out with Joe, aka SilverFuturist.  I really wish he made an appearance in this thread.

Nevermind... I was able to hack my firefox to get my password.

Thanks for the reply.

EDIT:  YES!!! We solved another block.  I think it was lucky, because it was LESS shares than the difficulty rating of 1.3MM.

A buttcoin because all it's good for is wiping your ass with.

Not even!  This is where the dollar is better. (makin' straws, giving off heat while burning, and wiping your ass with!)
478  Bitcoin / Pools / Password Recovery on: June 24, 2011, 11:29:30 PM
Hey Wuked, try and put a password recovery script on the site.  My browser knows it, but when I want to make a change, I need to type it in manually, and I have forgotten it.  I have changed a lot of passwords this past week and I didn't keep track of them all. Sigh.

Also, it would be cool if you could link your logo to the "dashboard" or "home" page.

Why not to use Y-slitter to split 6pin PCIe to 2*6pin PCIe?

As I stated in the OP, Y-splitters are not recommended by the video card manufacturers.  That, and I don't have any. Tongue
