Nice idea, shame about the humongous bugs in p2pool that means it doesn't work with most ASICs.
If it weren't relying on p2pool I'd be all over it like a rash. As it is, I'm done with p2pool.
As far as I'm aware, p2pool does work with most ASICs, except for ones that use an internal stratum proxy (block erupter blades, I believe). If you're referring to the other issues some ASICs had with p2pool, from what I've read it was a case of poor programming with the ASICS and was worked around by increasing the p2pool sharechain block time to 30 seconds. That said, as soon as we have the hashrate to mine BTC on our own and find an average of 1 block per day, we'll switch back to Stratum. In the meantime the profits from switching to the altcoins have more than made up for any perceived inefficiencies in P2pool.

BTC balance as now changed. Take a bit of time, bit it changed.
It's because new blocks are not scored until 5 confirmations, to help prevent orphans from making it into unconfirmed.

I should add that the IRC channel has been very active lately and is probably the best place to go for help setting things up.

I have joined this pool and been trying to mine for a few weeks. I love the idea but the pool just isn't working for me. I have tried contacting the website a few times through their contact us link but no reply as of yet. I am mining with 1x7970 scrypt 2x5830 scrypt 1xBFL Jalapeno
When mining against other pools, I have a very low stale/reject ratio always above 99.0% The sha-256 miner seems to be horribly affected by this on multipool. I have come home several days and found over a 50% reject rate. Needless to say I have moved the jala back to BTCGuild where I am getting after a full weekend of mining a 99.54% accept rate. While my scrypt mining is still seeing alot of rejects, about 10-20% I haven't dived off just yet and gone back to wemineltc, but I'm getting ready to if I don't hear back from my support emails soon.
I've set the gpu miners all to difficulty 1 and the jala to 2 and tried various config settings but still see the stale/reject rates outside the norm. Btw - having a single forum thread as you support medium seems really bad idea. But since your page says this post is where to post, here it is. Thoughts / ideas anyone?
This thread is not the only support medium, there is another thread on cryptocointalk, an email address, and an IRC channel listed just below it. I'm not sure why you're getting a lot of rejects, if you email me directly I can work on it with you. You'll get 10-15% rejects on the BTC port no matter what, as it's the nature of p2pool (30 second sharechain blocks). For the rest of the coins it should not be that high.

The BTC shares I had have gone, but my BTC total as not increased?
P2pool just found two blocks, you should have a payout incoming.

Not sure why you decided to force everyone on scrypt to mine at 32. I was using computers to mine with no fancy hardware and was having fun getting some low difficulty coins. I enjoyed your pool but have had to move over to other pools that have lower difficulties. Just a guess but you only want people that have the hardware to hash at high rates. I get tired of people who no longer appreciate the small person that helped get their business where it is today.
Shannon
Share difficulty doesn't make a difference in profits over longer time periods. It only affects short term variance. 64+ is the norm at the larger pools, 32 is still quite low. I'm sorry you felt you had to leave.

Hi, do multipool merge mine?
We will be merge mining NMC and possibly others soon.

Pointed my jupiter to your pool :-) Any chance of lower mining fee? :-):-)
The fee should be 0% for everyone. THat's the sweetener - 0% until the end of the year. Are you sure you're paying more? If so I'll take it up with Adam. CipherMine is paying 2% though, so subsidising this. Kate. In my profile it says 1.5% fee, not sure if it is active tho... The fee is currently disabled for all SHA-256 coins. If you look in the block payouts you can see all the fees set to 0.

Any issues with withdrawals that you know about ? I'm think Cryptsy is broke again.
Yes, think the significant volume of trades has their db server so overwhelmed it's just now catching up about 24h later, and most of my deposits still haven't come in, let alone actually show as incoming on there yet. they posted an update a while ago saying that transfers should be crediting now. BigVern @cryptsy Estimate 2 to 3 more hours before all deposits post once full backlog is processed by later this evening @CryptsyKen Expand 8h BigVern @cryptsy Thanks for your patience. Deposit fix already done. Deposits now starting to post. System now working through big backlog. CollapseReplyRetweetFavorite· 4 RETWEETS 2 FAVORITES 14h BigVern @cryptsy Appears there was a hangup in the deposit program last night. All pending deposits will post shortly.

Site and pools are down for a few mins while I clean up the db and increase the minimum share diff to 32 across the board.
Hey, I completed the guides for you. They're just above your comment:) I can't access them. You need to host them somewhere else or email them to me. Thanks though!

Just signed up there and it look great in terms of architecture and innovation, got just two short questions: When it switches between different currencies do these get stored in your www.multipool.us wallets for each, or if you only have an address for one type of coin entered would the amount of the other coins you mined be put into that currency equivalently? Is there a delay between the websites stats and your and what is happening? I've been mining there for a good few hours and nothings showing up. And I'm not sure what wallet it will show up in! None of these things were in the help. Is your miner submitting shares?

The BTC port currentl only supports 5 custom difficulties (4, 32, 128, 256, 512) and your difficulty is rounded down.
What difficulty should I set for 30GHS Thanks I use 32.

What about auto trade feature like the pool with the cow? It would be very neat
Yep, I'd like to pay a tiny additional fee for this feature. It's coming, I don't have an ETA yet though.

I need the following pages written up for the site, I am offering hero member status and lifetime 0% fees to whomever can do it for me:
1. Step-by-step guide to auto selling your coins on cryptsy (with screenshots) 2. Step-by-step guide to setting up guiminer and guiminer-scrypt to mine at the pool (also with screenshots) 3. Troubleshooting guide for cgminer (preferably with screenshots)
Looks like i was bit late to offer my help. GL to Isaac! Added a couple more things.

Something is wrong with the Diff on the sha-256 multiport.
My miner is showing diff 4 when the worker is set to 16, I thought changes had been made to address this issue !!
The BTC port currentl only supports 5 custom difficulties (4, 32, 128, 256, 512) and your difficulty is rounded down. If you're at 10+TH you should set it to 32.

port 80 cannot find any open servers... is this currently down for scrypt mining? I can connect to the 443 port for sha-256 mining but I need scrypt mining (behind a firewall).
Shouldn't be. I am seeing connections on all of the proxies on port 80.
