461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: November 09, 2017, 08:02:33 PM
The very first time I heard about bitcoin was when I am browsing on Facebook and I saw someone posting about bitcoin that he earns bitcoin. That time I have no curiosity about bitcoin and I just ignored it because I don't know what is it. But then again, my brother talks about it when I had the opportunity to have some chitchat with him and then I ask what is it really all about. But my brother doesn't have any idea either and left me with an unanswered question. Few months later a cousin of mine introduced bitcoin to me but still didn't explain so much about it.
462  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use a Bitcoin debit card? on: November 09, 2017, 03:30:08 PM
No I do not have any bitcoin Debit card as there is no any ATM for bitcoin in my country, I hope it will reach sooner to our country as the users of bitcoin are increasing faster in my country and the government is also in its favor.

Same here. We still have no Bitcoin Debit Card available here in my country. I hope that there will be available Bitcoin Debit card in our country sooner so we can also use it if in case we have emergency or we need to have some cash for unplanned expenses if ever. I hope that our country is like your country who are open-minded when it comes to bitcoin so it will be easy to have bitcoin debit card here.
463  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: November 09, 2017, 03:07:59 PM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?

I believe so. I mean if money itself, even the lowest currency can lead to corruption what more in bitcoin which has a really high value. So, there is no reason for a person to neglect or refuse on having bitcoin, they want more of it though.

It is also possible because bitcoin is just the same as fiat money. It will drive people crazy if they will lose it so some people also take an advantage through it and use it for bad purpose such as controlling people by promising them that they will give such amount of bitcoin to them. And we all know that people can easily be manipulated through money and it could also lead to corruption because the more the rate of bitcoin will rise, the more the interest of the people in bitcoin will also increase.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: November 09, 2017, 11:34:28 AM
Yes, bitcoin is now using for crime.  Because bitcoin has no control. It is decentralized. Anyone can use it for buying dangerous weapon. Bitcoin authority should keep on it.

This is dangerous. If all the rich people will use bitcoin for doing crime in secret and paying the killers through bitcoin this is not a good news for everyone. I hope that this kind of actions will not continue because all innocent people will be endangered if those evil people will do use bitcoin for their own satisfaction and bad plans.
465  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: November 09, 2017, 12:10:58 AM
Yes, bitcoin is freedom because it will give us financial freedom and time freedom as well. We will be the one to choose our time in working for it. We do not need to go to the office just to work for it. We can do it at home like the home-based work and even while we are on the bus or we are traveling. We can do it anytime as long as we have internet connection. We do not need to keep on going to a specific place to work on it but we can do it anywhere in the world.
466  Economy / Economics / Re: A wise strategy for your bitcoin on: November 08, 2017, 01:45:39 PM
Hello everyone, I want to share about my strategy with bitcoin and I need your advice.
So the example is, I've buy bitcoin in price $2000/btc with amount $750 so I have 0.375 btc. When the price climb to $4100/btc, I sell my 0.184 btc to get my first capital and get $754.4 and 0.191 btc left .then when the price dump again to around $3900, I buy it again with my $754.4, so I get 0.193xxx btc and  my total btc is 0.384xx. With my $750 I can keep increase my bitcoin with this strategy. So what do you think. Am I doing right with my bitcoin? Or you have any advice. Please explain.

I like your strategy in trading but i have another way of earning bitcoins, I started to work on bounty campaigns to earn coins then when i already have enough coins then that is the time when i invest in building a multiple mining rig. In that way i can hold my coins longer while mining coins so i can earn more profit passively.

Agree. I’m not really good at trading. And mining turned to be easier than I thought. So, it’s a very good way to be involved in crypto and of course earn money for those who aren’t into all these trading things.

Your strategy is good because you keep earning bitcoin through it. But I also agree to some of the people's opinion in here that there's a possibility that some of your money will be gone. So, to make it safe and keep you gaining than losing, it is better for you to keep on joining signature campaign so you can also increase your bitcoin amount in your wallet.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 07, 2017, 01:04:28 PM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

Well, I'm not so surprised of it because it is already expected that bitcoin will reach that kind of amount in dollar and actually now, it gets bigger than the amount stated above. This is a good news for us that it keeps on rising and it made us feeling a bit confident that this would really be one of the strategy or shall I say the shortcut to our dreams to become a part of reality and will not just remain mere dreams.
468  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin for real estate? on: November 06, 2017, 12:26:57 AM
I am wondering how many of you are selling your bitcoins to buy something solid like real estate as backup investment? spread the eggs!

As of now, I cannot do that yet because I want to save more bitcoin first. Maybe by the time that I think it is already enough for me and my family, I will invest some of it to a real estate so I can also have more properties to own. But I think it would also take for a long time before it will happen because my bitcoin savings is not too big yet. I need to double my work for it to be fulfilled sooner than I am expecting to be because if I will not double my time, I might not get it earlier.
469  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: November 05, 2017, 01:12:20 AM
What are the things to do to succeed in trade? What are you doing to make your business bigger?
How can we make more money?

We can make more money in many different ways. By working while having businesses, working with bitcoin, investing in bitcoin and earning bitcoin. There's a lot of ways, like invest in every potential companies that are offering bigger interests compared to other companies so you will gain more and more especially here in bitcoin.
470  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 03, 2017, 11:50:26 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

I will going to convert it in both bitcoin and gold. I know bitcoin is keep on increasing its price but gold's price is stable so, I think it is a win-win situation. It could be a good way to convert my money from my wealth to both gold and bitcoin because I know that this is the safest way for us not to lose anything and get a good profit because gold is not that cheap until now and it will surely not go down its price. So converting to both is a very good way if I will convert my money from my wealth in the future.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: November 03, 2017, 11:28:50 PM
I do think that it won't last for more 3 years. Bitcoin is so hype because it was the first one. But as soon as mass of people start to understand blockchain idea and know many other projects that are veeery superior, people will start to support those projects and simple forget about btc

How sure are you? You sounds so confident that bitcoin will not last long. Honestly, we don't know what will really happen in the future when it comes to bitcoin but if you say that it will not last for 3 years, I don't think so. As long as the people will not stop investing here, this will continue to exist. Maybe you just said that because you doubt bitcoin very much and maybe you didn't experience what other people experience when they started earning bitcoin. That's why you are so confident that it will not last.

Yes, it made me shock and excited as well because I know that this is a sign that we will surely earn bigger amount of bitcoin as we continue to work to earn bitcoin. This is a very good news to all of us who already started having a bitcoin account and started earning bitcoin. This only proves that bitcoin is not only a dream but this is a reality. So, we can now conclude that we have a very big future in bitcoin and let's keep on working to earn more bitcoin as its price keep on rising and rising. I hope that this will continue to rise so we will be very happy and reach our goals in life.
473  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money do you have left from your job? on: November 03, 2017, 07:26:55 PM
Really? I expected everyone here to be making about $100 000 / year
I think just the boss or owner of a business that could generate $ 100k in 1 year. I do not have any business and I just limited my income employees would

Maybe you're right. Because our salary is quite enough to pay for the house rent if you are living away from home, groceries, etc. Most of the time, you only bought the necessary things and you don't have any money left in your pocket for your wants. Sad to say, but it is the reality nowadays that we only hold our half-a-month salary for just few hours and it's gone because everything are already listed. All the expenses are already in the list, so there's always no extra money left for you.
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: November 03, 2017, 09:36:10 AM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.

I have seen threads that have discussed the possibility of adding a new Crypto section to high school economics or a college/uni course. I would vote for something like that since right now a lot of jobs are being replaced by robots and newer things. The cryptocurrency world is a new version of ecomonics and people need to pay attention to it. If you would receive credentials from a college, backing that you, saying have knowledge in the crypto world, it could lead to better job opportunities. This would be hard to implement though since changing the curriculum of the entire education system would have to have heaps of support and a willing government to back it. Could be nice to see this implemented in the future though.

With the continuing interest which Bitcoin is gaining, I am sure that soon we can see many learning institutions to include the subjects of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology into their curriculum. Blockchain technology is representing a revolution and soon this revolution can go down to the application level where even schools can take advantage of.

Here in my country, there are already schools which accept Bitcoin as a form of payment so it is likely that students can get elbow-to-elbow with Bitcoin. I am waiting for a time where a critical mass of entrepreneurial young people can get excited with Bitcoin.

Wow! That's quite amazing. Your country already accepted bitcoin as a means of payment for studying college courses. I hope that it will aso happen in our country so we will not be pressured and we will no longer lined up in school accounting just to pay for the prelim examination, midterm examination, pre-final examination and final examination. Because if the school will accept bitcoin as a means of payment, we can just use our online wallet to pay for it.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: November 03, 2017, 08:25:43 AM
Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?
It is not possible to mine any crypto through mobile right now because of high mining difficulty of almost all coin and if there will be some new coin out there in future, than it will be not worth to mine because mining difficulty for it can increase insanely high in no time.

Some cloud mining platform are developing mobile apps for their service but that can't be referred as mobile mining.

Yes, it is really true that it is not possible to do bitcoin mining through smartphone nowadays because the application is so heavy and a smartphone memory cannot contain it. You're smartphone might hang and malfunctioned if you will forced to use an application for bitcoin mining on your smartphone that is not supposed to be installed in it because it is not meant for smartphones. It is made for laptop, personal computers, etc that has bigger memory.
476  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: November 03, 2017, 07:00:35 AM
To grow the adoption of bitcoin we need people spending it as a daily currency.
In my country there is not much I cant buy with bitcoins.
Granted not a lot of retailers accept BTC yet but with all the services available now they dont need to.
A bitcoin debit card can be very handy.

Nowadays if I need to pay a bill then I can pay any bill via a site called livingroomofsatoshi

Please list any reasons why you could not use bitcoin for day to day expenses and maybe we can find a way.

There's no problem with spending bitcoin but as you spend bitcoin, you need to also save bitcoin for your future. Because it is useless if you are earning bitcoin and you will just spend it all for things that are not very necessary for you to buy. You should also be responsible in spending your bitcoin so you will not regret it in the future. Spend and save bitcoin so you will not end up being bankrupt.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: November 03, 2017, 04:55:14 AM
I think no one desires to become poor. We all do desire to become rich and reach every dreams we have. We want to give our family a better life than we have now. We always wanted to experience living in a luxury house with many types of pets that we love to have and things like musical instruments in our own studio inside our house. We want to have many hectares of land and to achieve that we need to work hard in earning bitcoin and our focus must be very clear to achieve that goal we want to reach.
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: November 02, 2017, 10:40:46 PM
Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.

some of the party misuse bitcoin anonymous feature for bad things, and why you only bring negatives news, there are a lot of good things that bitcoin brought, it had helped so many people in economics sector, it had provided so many new job regarding to cryptocurrencies, this is the side that never being told by others

I don't think so. Bitcoin is made to help other people who are looking for extra income and reach some of their dreams through earning in bitcoin. But those people who are using bitcoin in a bad way, then it is their choice but that doesn't mean that bitcoin is made for that kind of bad way of using it. The person who made bitcoin cannot control the people on how they should use it because he has no super powers to monitor everyone who are using it.
479  Economy / Economics / Re: Wonder how many people can hold BTC for more than 3 years on: November 02, 2017, 09:12:00 PM
BTC was around $300 3 years ago.

Wonder how many people can hold BTC for more than 3 years and enjoy the amazing profit in this period Smiley

To tell you frankly, it is not easy to hold bitcoin especially if you have doubts or many what ifs in your mind. Holding bitcoin for quite some time is a little bit difficult because you will worry if bitcoin price will go down or up when you keep it for a long time. But nowadays, you need to stop doubting because as you can see, bitcoin keeps on increasing its value. So no need for us to doubt if we will keep it for along time because we are already sure that it will grow and will not decrease its value.
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: interest in bitcoin is increasing on: November 02, 2017, 07:41:14 PM
As per we can see the interest in bitcoin of people is increasing at a high rate...I believe it will be our future...but will the shoppingsites like flipkar, amazon be able to accept bitcoins?
may be in the next generation.......thanz fr reading

Yes, of course the people's interest into bitcoin is increasing because they see how bitcoin really works by increasing its price. It catches their attention that made them so curious what really is the bitcoin that people are trying to promote and how do they be part of it. Now, we don't need to tell them about it so much because they already have the idea of bitcoin. It is only their choice if they will going to try it or not.
