Atlas, people who are violently dedicated to their causes or beliefs are dangerous to anyone who opposes them.

Like the US government, Israel and NATO towards civilians of countries that don't do things their way?

Classic Atlas response.

  • Completely ignore all points
  • Avoid admitting that you're wrong at all costs
  • Respond to 200 line message with an off-topic one liner.

Do you happen to have an appropriate name for yourself?

Crazy Horse seems more than appropriate at this moment.
4624  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FEMA: The Founding Fathers were terrorists. on: March 08, 2012, 08:37:46 PM
Wait a minute....

Since Atlas/Boss is notorious for lying, stretching the truth, later realizing he's wrong, then changing his name to hide his horrible track record, let's take an educated look at the video he included as proof for his claims.

First claim:
FEMA is claiming something.

We see one individual talking to barely 20 people in a closed room? That's a dangerous precedent? Does Atlas realize that there are meetings like this all over the world in regards to racist agendas, drugs, or even terrorism itself? Why is freedom of speech only okay when Atlas agrees with it?

Where is FEMA's official stance on this? Does their website call the founding father's dirty bastard terrorists, or just this one dude who has probably already been reprimanded once the video hit youtube? This is not news.

Second claim:
The Founding Fathers weren't terrorists.

Terrorist is not the right word, but I'm sure they caused their government a bit of terror. We'd call them revolutionaries. They wanted changed and they fought for it. The government can call it whatever it wants, the only definition that will matter is the one given by the last man standing.

This is not news and everyone with a grain of sense has already thought of their founding fathers as dangerously determined, equally understanding that we must be too if things get bad enough--- case in point, it's not bad enough yet.

Third claim:
Quote
1. People who are dedicated to their cause and beliefs are dangerous.

Atlas, people who are violently dedicated to their causes or beliefs are dangerous to anyone who opposes them.

Fourth claim:
Quote
2. The passionate revolutionaries who started this country are terrorists and should be looked down upon.

For starters, this is not an official release from FEMA, so you're spreading FUD.

Secondly, can you point to the part of the video where he says you should look down on the founding fathers and not that you should just be aware and weary of people ready to die for their beliefs (because many uneducated misguided freaks like yourself who live inside of extremism and spend all their time soaking up youtube videos will probably end up spraying bullets on students for a non-reason).

Fifth claim:
Quote
Dangerous precedents are being set here, people.

Uh no. Do you even know what a precedent is? 9/11 and the War on Terror was a dangerous precedent. Patriot Act was a dangerous precedent. Some dude giving a private speech to some other dudes in a building? Grow up.

4625  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reporting BitCoins on Taxes on: March 08, 2012, 08:24:16 PM
So why do you think we should pay taxes on it, if you don't even live here?
LLOLOLOLOLRITE OMG  OMG LOLOLOL

Because I'm a US Citizen, of course.

So, if I pay taxes on bitcoin, then is the US Government going to back them for me?
Does the US back the stock market or silver? No, but you still need to pay capital gains tax when you buy and sell it for a profit.

So please, aim before you shoot a little more.  Your uninformed, thoughtless post was wimpy.
And for the record, I would NEVER, EVER go to Korea LOL wow.  No wonder you are so mad.

You've never actually done your taxes before, have you?

You two are for sure, not welcome in my house.

That's not nice. I'd invite you into my house if you ever came to South Korea.  Undecided

4630  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reporting BitCoins on Taxes on: March 08, 2012, 08:02:15 PM

Reoporting Bitcoins for taxes is A GIANT STEP IN THE WRONG DIRECTION.

Did you pay money for them? Did you make money when you sold them? Then it's expected that you'd pay taxes on the capital gains. Grow up.

@OP: You're going to hear this a lot in this thread but-- Paypal is a scam and you fell for it. Never use Paypal for Bitcoins.
4632  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitscalper anyone use this ? [PASSWORDS LEAKED] on: March 08, 2012, 07:44:32 PM
I'm sad  to see that it ends like this.

Indeed. Sad, but predictable.
4633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Astana used stolen cedit cards? Maged can you back this up? on: March 08, 2012, 08:23:20 AM
I'm not going to convert athiests in believers. But let me tell you this there is a special place in hell for those who decided to cross the line.

Yay, hell.

The lady walking ahead of me sped up so I did too, she began running so I ran too, she screamed so I screamed as well. I never even saw what we were running from.
4635  Economy / Services / Re: Pizza Service. on: March 08, 2012, 07:39:44 AM
What is your problem?

lol, Zombie didn't even mention where is he to operate his service..

And on top of that, he hasn't given any clue to his business model, provided any information to get ahold of him-- basically he's just representing himself so far like someone who would probably walk away with anything you sent them and call it a day.
4636  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Astana used stolen cedit cards? Maged can you back this up? on: March 08, 2012, 07:18:37 AM
Maged retracted because he knew he lied and is worried i'll come after him.

All I want is to clear my name. I'm not here to convince you i'm a nice guy and not hot headed.

Tip: To clear your name, you might want to not lead with hearsay.
4637  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dear newbies. I'm giving you Bitcoins! on: March 08, 2012, 06:51:37 AM
Essential roles such as a nuclear reactor plant operator should probably get equity in my book, since the entire company depends on their leadership much more.

You can't get done quicker if you are skilled or experienced.

True for the nuclear reactor example, untrue for the tech support example.

Salary is the same thing as paying per hour. You're still paying for someone's time, it is just sometimes a little more flexible. And you've missed the point of the tech support or the bus driver. They do the same thing as operations. They ARE on watch. They are tasked to do work as needed for a certain period of time. Those are tasks that require your time and that you aren't in control of the amount of work you will have to do. You can't get done quicker if you are skilled or experienced. You must spend a certain segment of time and hence why a time based system is necessary.

Sure, some things are task based and should be paid accordingly. A good example is when I was an auto mechanic. You get paid book time. Do it fast or slow, you get the same amount of money but if you do it fast, you can do more. Or you can go home early. Conversely, that wouldn't work when I was a nuclear reactor plant operator. I have to be there for a certain amount of time. I can't make power quicker and go home. I have to watch to see if anything tries to blow up.

Points taken.

I won't be paying per hour though.
4638  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dear newbies. I'm giving you Bitcoins! on: March 08, 2012, 06:30:26 AM
How would you compensate someone who does tech support

Per call.

or operations

Salary.

or a bus driver

Per trip.

or any activity that involves being "on watch" for a certain period of time?
Salary.

Give me 12 minutes of my life back.

You raff, you roose!
4640  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dear newbies. I'm giving you Bitcoins! on: March 08, 2012, 06:09:31 AM
Do you pay minimum wage?

I don't pay per hour. Ever. Paying per hour is a total ripoff. It always has been and it always will be.

Time is worth way much more than money. I graduated 4 years of high school in 1.5 years too. "Time based" rewards are nonsensical to me.
