Dutch Merganser isn't me. I don't use the word "psychiatric", I just say "mental".
3782  Other / Off-topic / Re: In a few moments, I'll be dead. on: April 24, 2012, 04:25:12 AM
Seriously, you can't get arrested for trolling.
If you could, Matther N. Wright would be on death row.

Actually, if Atlas did in fact kill himself directly due to trolling from provable entities, they could be prosecuted for "cyber bullying", but it's very clear that Atlas is a mentally unstable child on medication who has threatened suicide before almost like seasonal clockwork.

Does no one remember this time last year when I first talked to Atlas he was doing exactly the same thing? Whining about killing himself and then claiming he never did because of a momentary break in his aspergers?

I applaud everyone's interest in saving a life, but this is just another Atlas cry for attention. If you want someone to blame for his constant pissing all over the forums, suicide bluffs and self-importance, you could blame his parents for letting him hang around pseudo-intellectual douche-bags and obsess about forums without receiving proper mental care. That said, I highly doubt Atlas even has a family. He comes across way too much like a foster child or ward of the state, or maybe even someone in the witness protection program (which would explain a lot of things).

Please remember that Atlas prides himself on posting how righteous and special he is. His posts have ranged from "I enjoy having rough sex with prostitutes" to "when woman ejaculate, they do so not out of feeling but out of admiration of me". He is a self-absorbed, mentally unstable, delusional wolf-crier and above all hypocrite. Is it any wonder that he will have bouts of depression? Who wouldn't everytime they live like him and then look in the mirror?

What he needs is to start working to change what he is, and he cannot begin doing that while you sheep are jumping up and down at his every move (I know the mods have a legal responsibility to respond, but they should be responding with force to prosecute him for crying wolf). What this forum needs is to collectively tell the child to go away and seek help. It is very clear that he is obsessed about these forums and that they are the cause of his depression (because he can't control them like he wants). The best thing for him is to go away. Why Theymos isn't pushing this fact harder is beyond me.

Since he is once again confirmed to be Atlas, why isn't he perma-banned (again) yet?

Aww. I wish I was at that conference. That'd be fun to troll. I'd ask them all if they've heard of MicroCash and tell them it's going to explode and take the world by storm! (sic)  Roll Eyes

I am trolling in a way. They are all dressed professionally and I have on a Bitcoin t-shirt. LOL

Tell Charlie and Tony I said Hi and to take a picture together for me for the site if they can. They aren't responding on Skype.

They are in a session and I'm leaving. There is no way I'm paying $600 to go in there.

Gross. Nevermind. You can see them for free after.

Edit: Anyone else think that the poll is being spammed with "yes" votes from Crap accounts?

Even more likely is that non-newbies seldom care about newbie posted threads so there is an obvious partiality towards not needing to be a newbie from the newbies posting. I voted just to break it even though.
3789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get Ready for "MicroCash" : The most advanced Crypto-based Currency yet! on: April 23, 2012, 05:50:57 PM
MicroCash doesn't seem to have much for flaws.
I haven't heard any real 'features' yet, just stuff that Bitcoin already does and a bunch of a denial about how it's just a fork of bitcoin.

Not having to download a blockchain enables people that only have 50 kb/s connections to use it. Or even 4 kb/s connection.
Paypal doesn't require a blockchain. Neither does MintChip as far as I can tell. What's the point though?

How can someone follow something so blindly who can't even argue why it's important? All I'm seeing here are empty and vague claims.

"It will explode in the future"
"Taking the world by storm!"
"You'll be sorry!"

Basically the exact same things scammers say right before they sign you up for a Forex seminar in a remote part of the world.

There is a reason you're here-- it's because you believe that Bitcoin is better than fiat. So then explain to me, fellow believer, why is MicroCash better than Bitcoin? Facts please.
3790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pre-order Bitcoin Magazine - Quality control, final revisions on proofs on: April 23, 2012, 05:46:57 PM
What was that, a TROLL POST?

No. Trolling is harassing to get a rise out of people. I am responding to people. I might be responding in a more livid way since it's 3am here, but I'm not trolling.

If I were trolling, I wouldn't waste it on this thread. There are about 20 threads right now that are begging for it.
3791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get Ready for "MicroCash" : The most advanced Crypto-based Currency yet! on: April 23, 2012, 05:40:02 PM
You also have to take into account the user friendliness that MicroCash has, which Bitcoin does not have yet.

Once the 21 million bitcoin blocks are mined, there will probably only be like 20 or 19 million (or maybe less) that are actually able to be spent without cracking the wallets (which will take a long time to do).

With MicroCash, most of the money can be spent and it is basically like being your own bank to a new user where you can get paid interest.

Nothing you have mentioned is something Bitcoin can't do either by design or third-party applications. There is much disorder in the bitcoin community, but that doesn't excuse SolidCoin's larger fatal flaws.

Those of us who want something they can depend on will stick with Bitcoin until something better comes along. A fork of Bitcoin with a Forex trading GUI isn't impressing anyone.
3792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin pawns MintChip by being opensource. MintChip flaw already found? on: April 23, 2012, 05:31:40 PM
Although there seems to be  a lot of negative sentiment towards MintChip by fans of Bitcoin at this point, it is still much too early to determine what the future holds for MintChip or any other related technologies.
True that. Read my previous posts to see just how pro-MintChip I am. There is nothing that makes Bitcoin look more competent than a government basically copying the model and taking out the decentralized bits.
3793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get Ready for "MicroCash" : The most advanced Crypto-based Currency yet! on: April 23, 2012, 05:26:41 PM
Warning: microcash is solidcoin also known as scamcoin

please avoid it.

ScamCoin is not SolidCoin. ScamCoin is not MicroCash.

MicroCash = SolidCoin with twice the self-promotional preaching and ego-maniacal blindness.
3794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Jered Kenna and 'scammer' tag? on: April 23, 2012, 05:17:49 PM
Don't shout!

Sorry!

Should TH's customers wait until the whole court case with Dwolla is resolves , even if takes 10 years ?

In a perfect world? No. In a realistic world, they can, will and do on a regular basis. When paypal robbed me of nearly $20k, I had to wait for the class action suit to finish before I got paid.
3795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin pawns MintChip by being opensource. MintChip flaw already found? on: April 23, 2012, 05:01:51 PM
Bitcoin isn't far off track, people are. You expect them to take what they've grown up with and discard it overnight in favor of something obscure that they don't even understand? People need to understand money before they can grok Bitcoin.

I can dream can't I?

3796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin pawns MintChip by being opensource. MintChip flaw already found? on: April 23, 2012, 04:48:27 PM
Those of us involved in bitcoin for its utility don't care about the spot price, we care about who we can send it to and who can send it to us. If everyone in the world was using Bitcoin, I still wouldn't think that $100 a coin is even remotely accurate. I think Bitcoin is worth about $2-3 probably.

7,008,900,700 people using 8,845,900 Bitcoins at $3 per coin. That's $0.0038 per person! Now that would be useful!  Grin

Yes, it would, because $0.0038 would be the new $[INSERT NUMBER HERE]. The fact that I even need to use the USD spot price for currency that should have it's own value beside USD should only serve as a reminder of how far off track Bitcoin actually is.

At that point, USD would be basing its' value off of Bitcoin, not the other way around.
3797  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: lol on: April 23, 2012, 04:44:31 PM
Actually you are wrong, I wouldn't have made this post to begin with, and this is the 'other' id. This further validates my point of increased useless posts and overhead when resources should be used to moderate substantive forums.

3798  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: lol on: April 23, 2012, 04:27:02 PM
It didn't stop anything. Now instead of making legitimate posts I'm forced to make worthless ones in a forum that is never used/viewed after the first 5 posts. If anything this has increased spam, moderation, and overhead when scarce resources could be used elsewhere!

Actually, no. As much as I hate the ridiculous newbie jail, you're absolutely wrong about it being useless. What you've done is basically shown your intentions, your lack of quality posts and your annoying attitude in a closed environment that the more impatient users don't need to see and let us, the more patient and devoted trolls sniff you out easier, meaning that from this point on, regardless of what you post, we'll be following your every move, waiting for you to make a mistake so we can strike you down and remind you of all your ridiculousness.

Newbie jail is not about "earning" anything, it's about "surviving" undetected and unscathed. You've already failed. Best go make another ID.
3799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pre-order Bitcoin Magazine - Quality control, final revisions on proofs on: April 23, 2012, 01:45:26 PM
Are you saying we should not trust any other clients other than open source at all?
No, I didn't: where have you read this?

Some solution gives you more control, some less: only open source software gives you complete and total control.

You choose which one is suitable for you in relation of the amount of money you have to handle, and having more options too choose from it's usually better.

More to the point, when you are one that gives less rather than more, you don't get butt-hurt about being called "less". You advertise it as "less".

If you said "the robber", you're right! And that's why Tradehill is going to court.
Jut like TradeHill will have to settle things between them and their customers and pursue Dwolla on their own terms. Or are you expecting TH's customers to sue Dwolla on TH's behalf?

 Huh

I'm expecting Tradehill to sue Dwolla, Dwolla to pay Tradehill, Tradehill to take care of thier debt to their customers, their customers to understand that a contract with an uninsured, unlicensed financial business has these risks.

Calling Jered a scammer is obviously idiotic. You could call him a bad businessman perhaps.
