4701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong BTC Adress, copied from Binance's Dashboard on: April 10, 2020, 05:52:22 PM
There are no transactions in the block chain sending 0.10 BTC to 13PcbKjLBjVUYcSevYELQDc1pLDm6Bb9Di. Why is that?
I'd see it already, and until now the balance hasn't move or touched. I'm confuse on what is really going on.

That is why, you always need to double check your address before you confirm the transaction, no matter how strong or genuine your OS or security it, it is still breachable because in the world of IT, there's no system that is safe. Meaning, you should be personally responsible and be observant. But you can reduce the risk of it happening again, install a genuine anti virus and prevent yourself from downloading from sites that aren't trusted. Make sure that you don't have any plugins even in your browser that causes this issue.
Malware these days are good enough that even the experts and experienced ones can hardly distinguish it from their devices that's why the account of every action we take over should be us coz no one's really accountable for that, not even the exchange. So if it's true that you have been attacked by one of these malware or some kind of virus, might as well be observant the next time and this should serve a lesson for you.

I'm confuse, really really confuse right now coz if I were going to send a huge amount in btc I would definitely check the address I'm sending into however he did not do it. Watching the video made me more confuse coz  there is no mic for you to speak so we will just be basing on your pointer gesture. You did able to copy the amount and pasted it in the address bar and it pasted correctly, not the case for the time you copied the address of yours but you did not let us see that you pasted it using your mouse pointer, you did was a keyboard shortcut. I'm not telling you that you just made it in hope to get a refund from Binance.

CTRL+V is not the same as CTRL+Z. I tried it after watching the video and it works. I can make the fake address out of my screen after hitting CTRL+Z and not CTRL+V.
So now can you get this done with mouse only? of course you can't coz you said you already formatted your computer and the malware was out, right?

THE SHOW IS OVER MAN.
4702  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not as risky as many think. on: April 10, 2020, 04:41:18 PM
I dare to disagree with your opinion that BTC is not as risky as other might think, since this is obviously a biased view. The reason being that no matter how much you buy in there will be times where you'd be in a great loss/profit as the market fluctuates. There could be times of dumps and bumps but because no one can tell the future which way the market may go or when, it leaves BTC and any crypto investment for that matter still risky.
This isn't a biased view if you take to consider the experiences of each every one of people in crypto space. You may think it is a biased view because your sympathy is with the beginners, I guess. We all understand that bitcoin is very volatile, the price movement is hard to follow, but the experience ones knows how to handle such situation. People now are under fear and doubts when bitcoin is declining, guess what those who are in bitcoin since the beginning then? chilling like nothing's happening. What the guys on the price resistance is taking much risks than those who only invest with cryptocurrency, always remember that.
4703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why not decentralized exchange..? on: April 10, 2020, 03:46:53 PM
Yeah, I notice that also, majority of the people I know including myself wants decentralization but most of us used centralized exchanges, Maybe because centralized exchanges have more coins listed on it with more volume and easy to trade and gain profit at a fast pace, orders are executed immediately unlike on DEX sometimes your orders are stock in there for hours. The only thing which I think is good about DEX is, it is safer because the funds are just stored on our wallet.
As for me that is using centralized exchanges more often, I notice how quick the transaction is, the higher liquidity of assets and the volume trade is so much more compare to decentralized ones, perhaps that's the edge of having centralized ones. But one thing is bothering me, centralized exchanges are being handle by the CEO of the exchange and his groups so if it happens that they are screwed then the consequences will be faced by us, the clients. So guys like me better to read the policy and agreements. However I've never encounter any failures yet so I'mma stick with using it.
4704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade what you can't risk loosing on: April 10, 2020, 02:51:18 PM
That stupid dude that listen to social media how to earn big is a great example how Greed people never succeed here in crypto.
we use to wait or even take small profit sometime just to keep safer while newly entered are just wasting their money listening to people they dont even know?that is craziness mate.
I remember one of the advertisement in the youtube lol, I don't wanna name the brand but the advertisement is BS that is only ignorant of crypto related stuffs are going to jump in. Imagine they are saying that you could earn a thousands of bucks in just a minute of trading with precise timing haha. Most of the time, people tend to watch videos on the internet to avoid getting lose which I know the right thing to do before trading but what I am doing for quite some time now is that I do push every thing so I could easily quit if I lose.

Trading is also a great way to earn, but believe me there are so many people around that also loss on it.That is why we need to be more practical on trading because not all the time we can gain a profit on it. Even the
most experienced trader will also loss on it so if you dont wanted to loss or gain in a risky way you must find another option because trading is really risky.
actually there is more losers than profiting in trading so be aware of that and try not to enter if you have no Big knowledge .
I guess the weight is just the same, some loses and others are winning. Trading isn't just about the risk taking, it is valuing what you have in hope for adding it.
4705  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difficulty choosing a trading platform on: April 10, 2020, 02:15:25 PM
Contact the teacher of all time and people - YouTube.
For long that we are having a problem with youtube towards crypto related content creators, I personally suggests to read manuals or books regarding trading. Not promoting to boycott youtube but the fact that youtube takes an action between the said contents are already a hint for us that something isn't right happening with those channel/videos, a scam in the making or frauds.
Find advanced and popular traders and see their live sessions, as well as their reviews of various crypto exchanges.
I started with this. In addition, you will be qualitatively pointed out all the nuances and pitfalls that may occur on platforms.
That's recommendable, live session is also a tutorial, a demonstrative way for the audience to adapt not only the trading but also the platform. As much as possible take only 2 or 3 exchanges from different tiers so you will be able to get the differences that you may take advantage of in the future.

I would like to speak on behalf of all the Flipino in the Pilpinas section. I am hoping Yahoo, and other campaign manager will not ban the Filipino in their campaign. I am watching this thread also since yesterday cause it's one of the biggest farm that I see here in the bitcointalk and my countrymen is involve here. I would like to say that one abuser does not represent the whole Filipino community. We have a lot of great posters and reputable members that have outstanding contribution here in forum just like sir Dabs and Mr.big.

I am hoping that you would still see us, and treat us as a normal member here in bitcointalk community. Thankyou.

They feel safe, Any mistake they can make they can correct it! That's the huge advantage of bank to cryptocurrency. Your card has been stolen? You can easily get that block and make sure your money is safe and even sometimes when you get scammed you can get your money back and you can make sure that the bad guys will get punished. Cryptocurrency is decentralized means your safety is in your own hands, 1 mistake you cannot go back and fix it. People trust government because they feel safe. That's it.
4713  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: April 07, 2020, 06:37:37 AM
Well we can still return to our job after this pandemic but the current problem is the policy of some company that is no work, no pay. Sure the food is not a problem for us, but what im worried about is the pay for our monthly bills e.g. house rent, electricity, water etc.

At times like this its really important to have a savings so incase something happen you have money to count on. I just hope the virus vanish as soon as possible because most people here are just counting with their salary and no savings at all.
Savings are most of the people are missing when it comes to scenario like this. So many people are getting hungry cause they are not prepared on moment like this, I hope after this more people are going to start in investing. Another thing is remote working! many people are not aware that there are job that is available on the internet so that you can work from home, I think people now are going to be open in this kind of work, and a lot of them are going to be curious about it because of this pandemic. The outcome of pandemic is bad but, like it or hate it, it's an eye opener for the public.

4715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: April 07, 2020, 06:10:04 AM
~ snip ~
Correct, sports gambling shouldn't be compared/equated with day trading, they are different. Day trading requires specific skills such as read charts, analyze market trends, know volatility & liquidity, set targets, understand the use of "stop losses", etc. While sports gambling doesn't require many skills as the day trading, you just read historical data (as you said) and try to guess.
And in addition, if you are going to compare day trading to gambling, when you lose at the day trade you can just hold it and turn it into long term trading so that, if the coin pump you can take the profit. In trading you can only lose if you don't have a patience to wait for your trade to go up however, in gambling when you lose, that's it! The only way to get your money back is to bet and risk again.
4716  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Jobs 2020 on: April 07, 2020, 05:43:33 AM
Don't think of the degree, think of being qualified because you are skilled and show it to them.

Sadly, degree is a must here in crypto/blockhain field, If you really want to have a job that have a good salary then, you must have a degree. Most of the reputable company are asking for it, Information technology or any related field will do. What I know that doesn't need a degree is jobs are those which are related to art or being a graphic designer cause what you need in that is a portfolio.

Here's a addition to the list, all of them are good jobs and need a degree. But if you are crypto enthusiast and love this kind of job then, it's for you.  Smiley

4717  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Portfolio Stop Loss on: April 07, 2020, 03:41:11 AM
Well most traders are probably doing it and diversifying their investments to different assets and have already implemented a stop loss especially in this times that Bitcoin tends to go crazy wild swings. You may short, as the bottomed is not yet confirmed and could possibly go down. I think it's a decent strategy but it has also some flaws like what if the price fake outs then the stop loss triggers but the reverse pump.
I have a bad experience diversifying my investment into profit-making assets, I don't know why I got bad assets that time that makes me lose more than having my past investment/token. I should think it is bad luck? of course, I've researched the tokens I'm planning to buy but it hurt that I lose more than I could lose from my tokens. This might work on others but I think not on me. When I want to stop the loss I am buying stable tokens to avoid any more loss than I could get from buying other volatile coins that can recover the loss I got from other investments.
Well, you shouldn't buying many tokens. it's good to diversify your portfolio but don't go to the point that you are going to be a bag holder. Just invest on you think that would be good in a long run, and don't buy token that is volatile than bitcoin, if you are doing that you are just doing gambling! You didn't have strategy and just betting for a coin and hoping that it would pump. Just buy token that you think have a potential.
4718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and covid-19 : Which is more risky ? on: April 07, 2020, 03:03:32 AM
Like it or hate it, gambling can destroy lives but, corona virus can literally take you life. In gambling you can start fresh after it destroy's you or you can quit anytime before it destroy you. This corona virus is taking lives of every individual that has weak immune system. Any addiction is can be cured but this virus doesn't have any cure right now. Corona virus is more dangerous in gambling addiction.

4719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Business That Survives when a Crisis on: April 06, 2020, 03:27:14 PM
But for the online gambling business this is the opportunity for them to become popular to the other player who did not that they have online gambling. Maybe once a traditional player of the offline casino play at online because of the lockdown after this they are going to play more online than the traditonal. We know there is more advatanges because you did not travel to go to the place of the casino or you can play at home.

Lot of people that are used to traditional gambling will begin to look for alternate, and that's when online gambling will takes place. More people are going to discover it, and more people are going to be aware that cryptocurrency is the best way to gamble online, additionally, people will discover no hassle gambling and lot of people will gonna benefit on that including as gamblers and traders.

Online gambling business are going to do great in this kind of this situation.
4720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: E-gambling on: April 06, 2020, 01:49:47 PM
one do not need to have a list, you can just scroll through signatures of people that are posting in gambling part, and will find suitable casino experience for yourself, there are always opinions regarding which casino is better than the other, but you just need to do your research regarding previous scams, if there is no proven scam by casino, then it should be pretty safe to play at the moment
Well it's sometimes it's okay to read some reviews of the people on other's gambling websites to see which is the best and suitable for you. Personally, I look on gambling section where I can see a new gambling websites that is offering cool games or features, and read their thread to see the user experience in that way, I can make sure that if I try the website my money is safe. I am also making a list to make sure that I am playing at the best gambling website (well at least for me).
