You're seed might be bip39 format, and Electrum is trying to import it as mnemonic.

Try these instructions and see if they help:

4722  Economy / Lending / Re: [LIST] Bitcointalk's Lending Services [LIST] on: April 28, 2019, 05:44:56 PM
Technically I started January 24, 2016 and the new thread is because of a 'rebranding'. Not sure if that qualifies but it's worth mentioning.

Noted.  For accuracy's sake I'd rather leave the inception date pertinent to your current thread.  I hope you're okay with that.

Also, I've lowered my lowest rate to 0.10%/day.

Fixed.
4723  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hero Member loan defaulted 0.015 BTC on: April 28, 2019, 05:07:00 PM
Sorry for your loss, shasan.  I've tagged the user, lets see if he responds.

Some strange things have gone on with that account lately.  Looks like it may have been hacked and then recovered.  And I found this topic about the user: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5111751.0

4724  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I was scammed, so please learn from my mistake. on: April 28, 2019, 04:50:57 PM
@2double0, sorry for your loss.

I don't see any reference to payment address in your conversation.  Can you post a screen shot with her asking for payment sent to 0x56030c4e4c13EdaDF172c0409a57376Cb17C5cA3?

If you do a google search for 0x57B174839cbD0A503B9Dfcb655e4f4B1B47B3296 some reddit posts come up with references to a scam.  Looks like this one has been at it for over a year.

Not to go way off topic, but can I ask a question about BOMB tokens; what happens when they're all gone?

WORLD’S FIRST SELF-DESTRUCTING CURRENCY

BOMB is a social experiment and financial case study to measure the feasibility of a deflationary currency.  The rules are simple.

There were originally 1,000,000 Bomb in existence.
Each time a Bomb is transferred, 1% of the transaction is destroyed.
There will never be newly minted Bomb.
The intention is not to be used as a transactional currency, but rather a consistent and decentralized store of value. Through a system of immutable smart contracts and continuous hyperdeflation, BOMB is the world’s first self-destructing currency.

OP, Your daily interest value is wrong for couple of users.

I made some changes to the interest rate column to make it more representative of the lenders' actual policies.  Sorry, I have this habit of trying to get numbers represented in the same units, i.e. days in this case.

Disclaimer:

  • The lowest advertised daily interest rate listed herein may not represent the rate for which you qualify.

I didn't want to include all interest rates made available, that would make the table too busy in my opinion.  So I only included the lowest possible rate.

Condoras charges 9%weekly so it come as 9/7 =1.28 % daily.

Condoras also offers 13% for 20 days, or 0.65%.

Tracaspacy OP specify the interest as in week basis, so daily interest is not valid.

Fixed.

Parodium is charging max of 5% monthly or 50 dollars, so daily interest does not make sense.

Fixed.

LimLims charges .5% daily and Chrispops charges 7.5 % for 1-7 days.

Both fixed.

4726  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should I show sympathy or label as stupid? on: April 28, 2019, 12:49:31 AM
I think I should also tag this guy, just for complaining nonsense.

You didn't care about the warnings before you made the deal with that guy and now you came here to complain? Does it make any sense?  Angry

Threatening to red-tag someone for calling out a scam because he should have known better?  Yeah, that's a dick move.
4727  Economy / Reputation / Re: Double Standards for Red Trust on: April 28, 2019, 12:00:34 AM
So why he is not been Given Red Trust as he is spammer, scammer and account farmer.

He hasn't been given a red-tag because he is none of those things.  His situation and yours are not the same.  He tried to sell an account out in the open.  The transparency of his initial offer left no doubt that the account could possibly have a new owner.  Had the sale gone through, anybody who was approached by nutildah for any kind of deal would have known they weren't dealing with the original nutildah.  The fact that he decided not to sell the account should also be recognized.  If it had sold, I'm certain would have been red-tagged.

Your situation, on the other hand was transparent in a different way.  You were buying an account with the intent of easily increasing your rank, maybe not to scam, but almost certainly to spam.  Furthermore, the account being sold was anonymous, and with it's respectable rank it can be used to exploit other members.  If the account was trusted that would pose an even bigger risk to the community.  And for all we know you did buy that account.  It sure looks like you had the high bid.

See the difference?

4728  Other / Meta / Re: Why I was perma-ban? Spam or plagiarism? Hell no! on: April 27, 2019, 07:47:02 PM
That could be it, but I think it could also be for spam.
Bans for spam would not have a reason that dictates they were banned for plagiarism.

I could be wrong, but I believe there's only one automated ban notification for both possibilities, spam or plagiarism.  Also, the OP mentioned both in the title of the thread.  I've never seen the warning with my own eyes, but here's a quote someone posted:

Quote
You have been permanently banned by a forum moderator, probably due to spam or plagiarism. You may appeal here, but your chances are not good: ~

I agree that hacker1001101001 found the most likely reason.

It's odd though, cybersofts was usually careful to add a source to his copy-pasta, this could have been an oversight.  Considering the quality of the accounts posts, however I would be surprised if this ban was overturned.
4729  Other / Meta / Re: THEYMOS GIVES NEW MANDATE TO DT MEMBERS - will they take heed?????????????????? on: April 27, 2019, 03:32:18 PM
I might start taking bets on when he gets his new account banned, like the last one.

I'm not sure cryptohunter is banned.  She doesn't show up on the seclog or the modlog, and bpip has no mention of a ban.  She hasn't logged on since the 13th, well not with that account anyway.  Now we get to deal with CH Uber Alles.
4730  Other / Meta / Re: Don't show users' signatures? YES on: April 27, 2019, 03:20:14 PM
I don't mind seeing signatures, I mind seeing the low quality posts that come with them.

I actually find the signatures helpful.  Some campaigns are managed so well we can thank the campaign managers for filtering out all the spammers.  A signature from one of those is a good indicator the post is worth reading.  And obviously, the opposite can also be true.
4731  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I lost my btc on fairlay and they don't want it give back. on: April 27, 2019, 03:13:29 PM

Did you even try talking to their support? If it was really your wrong bet then you wont get anything back. Its all in the TnC and what I said above.
Yes I tried and they talking that they checked and its only my fault because they trying to convince me that I bet on team B and when I told them that I want to talk to owner they said that's paid option 1message for some btc

You have to pay to talk to the owner of the site?  Just curious, how much do they charge per message?
4732  Other / Meta / Re: Why I was perma-ban? Spam or plagiarism? Hell no! on: April 27, 2019, 02:47:44 PM
This could be the reason for your permanent ban.
~

That could be it, but I think it could also be for spam.

@OP, You have a habit of copying articles and posting them, and then adding the ref link at the bottom of your post.  In those cases you don't add any original content, not even a brief introduction to the subject.  These could be considered low-value uninteresting posts, which are against the rules.

Here are some examples:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5135817.msg50761071#msg50761071

1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads.
4733  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.5 ETH - Repayment 0.58 ETH in 28 days. on: April 27, 2019, 01:47:28 PM
I don't mean to a prick, but I think it's fair to warn any lender that wishes to deal with you that you already have a loan pending payment.   And according to your lender,  you are late on payments.

I wonder if 2double0 is late on the loan he got from marcotheminer:

Yes, he is late.

I also think it's weird that the amount you're requesting is in flux.  First you asked for two micro ETH loans to ransom a token.  Then you asked me and LimLims for 0.04 BTC and 0.03 ETH, now you're requesting 0.5 ETH.  Why are you so indecisive about how much to borrow?  Does this have anything to do with the late payment to marcotheminer?

1 - Remove income tax and replace it with a national sales tax and a national property tax

Like you said, when you tax something you get less of it.  We'll just end up with less property ownership, and fewer sales.  So, this would just shift the burden from one type of tax to another.  We would all end up paying the same or more.

Your premise that a property tax is a "wealth tax" also falls flat.  Everybody needs a place a place to live, or to do business.  The property owners are just going to pass on the costs to their tenants.  Regardless of whether you own the property, you'll be paying the tax.

2 - universal basic income

Your math doesn't add up.  If you tax $18 trillion worth of property at 10% and 14.3 trillion worth of sales at the same percentage rate, you only barely cover half your costs for the UBI.  That doesn't leave anything for infrastructure, defense, education.  We would have to be taxed 20% by fed.gov just to pay for the UBI.  That doesn't account for our state and local taxes.

Not a good idea, sorry.

Probably because they were flagged for being off-topic.  It happens, nothing to be concerned about.
4736  Other / Politics & Society / Corruption in The White House. on: April 26, 2019, 02:39:44 AM
News is breaking about several subjects which point to the deep corruption that plagued the top ranks of our government.  The Obama administration will be known as the most corrupt presidency in the history of our country.  We saw signs during those years; Fast and Furious, Benghazi, the email server in the bathroom, the NSA and how they villainized Snowden.  But we kept sweeping it under the rug, pretending these were merely mistakes or policy blunders.

The mistakes were when the administration allowed these issues to become publicly known, and when we didn't press the Republicans in congress to dig deeper.  The Obama administration filled the FBI and the CIA with partisan sycophants, and then used them to spy on Americans.  They spied on a Presidential candidate, and the President Elect.  The gears Obama engaged continued to churn for two years.  That's how ingrained and deeply rooted was the corruption.

The main stream media has shown themselves to have been complicit, if not accessory.  To this day they continue to omit from their programming what they would rather we did not know.  If they do report on a story which makes Democrats look bad, it's actually about how absurdly Trump reacted to the story.

The Republicans don't get a pass from me.  They sat their with their majority for years and did nothing.  Were they complicit?  Were they accessory?  What the fuck was Paul Ryan up to, exactly?  Lets find out.

I don't care how you feel about Trump, Democrats, Republicans or Whigs.  Pretend for a minute the Republican in The White House is Lincoln.  You like Lincoln, right?  What if it was Lincoln who was subject to these outrageous abuses of power?  What if it was Nixon who was responsible?  How would you feel?

If you're not outraged you're not paying attention.

It must be, same address posted here:

Verifying that address is only to prove the ownership of the account. I don't know why Direwolf asked you for the signed message because at almost all cases, you won't get your account back to you, as proven in previous cases.

Moderators make mistakes, and reverse their decisions from time to time.  Here's proof.  I asked for a signed message because there is a 3 year-long gap in posting activities, and I want to make sure it's the same owner, not a hacker.

4738  Other / Meta / Re: Request to be unbanned on: April 25, 2019, 10:38:08 PM
Also, what is multi-posting? ~

You just did it.  You posted twice in this thread without any other member replying in between.  You are only allowed to bump a thread once every 24 hours.  If you repeatedly post in a thread more frequently than that it's a violation of the rules.

To avoid that, just edit your previous post if you have another thought you'd like to share before any one else replies to your thread.
4739  Economy / Reputation / Re: marcotheminer - con[fidence] man on: April 25, 2019, 10:16:55 PM
I'm not convinced they are alts, but I suspect the account 2double0 was owned by marco at some point.  The loan tag by marco might be for the purchase of the account, which was probably a pricey purchase nine or ten months ago and it's being paid off over time.  All mere speculation.

Marco has previously mentioned that he and 2double0 are working to get the loan paid off, but wouldn't divulge much more information than that on the subject.  I agree that it would be easier for 2double0 to get a loan if that tag wasn't there, and marco seems smart enough to know that.  If it was marco's alt, I doubt that tag would be there.

Can you sign a message from the address quoted below?

I don't see anything that would qualify as plagiarism, but there are a lot short posts.  I didn't look close enough to see if you were multi-posting, which could also get you banned.

Payment address for winner will be as follows, thanks.
