4741  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price going back to $250??? on: January 02, 2016, 04:11:07 PM
its not going back to 250 as the price is pretty stable but its not going up too
in the last week of December 2015 bitcoin price is pretty stable in range $415-$430 and i think it would not be happen bitcoin price will back to $250 even in the near future

Not only in near future, for ever I guess we will never see $250 price levels of bitcoin. The continuous growing hash rates and user base are the some of reasons along with upcoming block reward halving. $250 levels were gone for ever.
4742  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go back to bellow $400? on: January 02, 2016, 04:07:30 PM
it easily might happen as the price of the bitcoin is not stable at all and it always goes up and down though i hope that it will go only up from now

We are close of the 400$ mark now at 433$

I think the economic events that will unfold in 2016 will spike up the price of bitcoins to thousands of dollars
i heard in 2016 global economic will crisis, it will impact to bitcoin price. i guess drop to below $400 is possible

Where did you hear that? If it ever happens that the global economy will see a massive downwards spiral, then most old fashion traders/investors will look into something that doesn't get affected too much. Bitcoin will be a great choice for them. Wink

Yes, investors will look for alternate investment vehicles in those slow economic situations. Most of the time they went for gold or real estate kind of investments. But in future bitcoin would be their prime choice of alternate investment vehicle for sure.

4743  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: January 02, 2016, 03:20:14 PM
Bitcoin hit $1,000,000: buy an island and just sit on beach sipping mojitos.
Bitcoin hit  $1,000 again: Nothing just keep watching the world pass by sipping my mojitos.
Bitcoin stayed where it was: Be where I am today  Cry
Bitcoin became worthless, or a few cents: Nothing, it wouldn't matter to me really  Undecided

If bitcoin hits $1,000,000 I think I will use it to make an investment which I will withdraw in the form of cash, with this cash I think I can probably start up a factory or a business that I will benefit. I will change all my bitcoins to cash if it reaches $1,000,000. Even $10,000 for each Btc is enough for me.
4744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best Investment Option for Bitcoins? on: January 02, 2016, 01:20:27 PM
Perhaps doing loans backed with collateral  to traders in bitfinex, they are paying about a 13% APR and it is not new they have been since 4 years ago

Yeah. Loans are a good way to earn money. But you will earn money slowly. So if you are willing to wait, it is a good way.
If we have 10 Bitcoins in the digital wallet then its not a good idea to just keep it there. Ideally its better if we can invest is some where in trading. or sell it when there is a price rise. or else do gambling is a better choice.

Why would gambling be a better choice? IMO it's never been a better choice, just leave it in your wallet and let speculation do its work.

I think gambling is the best, since you have idle coins that you are making use of, its best to play gambling with it and scrape out money online. Gambling is the easiest investment you can make online to get some profits. But never forget about the risk, gambling obviously has.
4745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: January 02, 2016, 01:10:30 PM
There are no banks that can accept bitcoin in the USA because the government has not recognized it as a currency.  Instead the IRS in the USA had declared Bitcoin an asset and thus the banks are not allowed to accept it as a currency.  I think the first step to getting this to turn around would to use BTC as collateral for a small loan.  If this will start happening, then there is a possibility that we can start moving forward at a pace faster than a turtle.
Banks in every countries does not believe in any digital money or Bitcoins at this time. these bankers even doesn't accept any transactions even their bank account holder's signature miss match. so how come any bank believe in Bitcoins. But the day is not very far to teach them that bitcoins are real money.

In my country bank has not accept bitcoin yet, bitcoin is a commodity and not a currency. Banks don’t believe in digital currency, they only believe in what they can see physical; that’s money(real cash), and not some kind of electronic money in the cloud that you can’t see, Bitcoin.
4746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 02, 2016, 09:10:25 AM
South Africa - England

Steyn out but I dont think South Africa will loose this match...because its a pretty flat pitch...Batting is always a challenge in South Africa...Newlands is usually hard and fast on day one, good for batting on days two and three and will take some turn towards the end.  So lets wait and bet...

England has chosen to bad first after winning the toss even last 13 visiting teams had lost with batting first, out of 15 times. But England got things favor to them, they are 26 runs with no loss. Styen is not playing must be a big problems for South Africa. But Rabada will replace the Styens' absence.
4747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: January 02, 2016, 07:12:44 AM
While it is possible to make money gambling at a casino, you certainly shouldn't count on it. Luckily for the casinos, some gamblers do count on it – and some even think they have the winning method down, when all that method will get them is broke.
There are actually people who do count on it though.  They actually go there for the purpose of winning.  Whether it is a little bit or alot, they go in with certain goals and they treat it as a job.  The question is, how do they do it.  It can not all be luck.

No. The reason, many gamblers turn into losses with the gambling must be they are greedy and increasing their bet amount. Usually all the gamblers starting their activities with very low bets, on seeing some profit in short-term with the small bets, they increase their bet amount out of greedy. So, in long run it is not possible to stay with profits.
4748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's use mBTC instead of BTC on: January 01, 2016, 04:27:43 AM
while any exchanger site around the world still use decimal ,it seems you just make hard your whole bitcoin life, and if you have more than 100btc you should write it 100000mBTC really give me headache
hey maybe you got little bit of misunderstood him .op is saying to count the transaction in mbtc until we get a 1bitcoin that means a whole number and by the way op you can use the mbtc viewinv setting almost present in every wallet and alsomt in every site there are a lot of people who had thought the same stuff and i am sure you will find some of them at bitcointalk community too.hey but in my opinion i dont think mbtc will be a good idea i always go for satoshi unit when ever i see any bitcoin transaction its the perfect unit of me

Yes, based on the volume we can use different notations for bitcoin.
But with foreseeing view, we will be forced to use least available unit satoshi when satoshi = 1 USD or 1 cent.
Value and volume will decide the unit of bitcoin time to time for our convenience.

Yes, the unit of bitcoin for our ease of use and for better understanding. So, one all time standardization is not possible for bitcoin and for any commodity/currency also. So, let the users to choose for their convenience.
4749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: December 31, 2015, 03:22:56 PM
its easy to get greedy if your winning, sometimes its okay to be a little greedy but know when to pump the brakes!

Yes, greedy must be the greatest extra product we can get from gambling. which will induce our inner thoughts to gamble more and to bet more big amount which are usually not good thing when gambling. Then losses in gambling is inevitable just due to the reason off over gambling.
4750  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will this bitcoin will go down? on: December 31, 2015, 06:19:25 AM
The general trend of bitcoin is up. It will never truly drop until the internet crashes, or a world war, or a another revolutionary currency comes out. You said this post when bitcoin was at approximately $300. $300's cheap. I hope you're crying now, because of what a cheapskate you are. If bitcoin drops below $300, something's going to be really really wrong, and i'd sell all my bitcoin anyway.
if the internet down, the transaction would be blocked, how do we use it?
bitcoin would be paralyzed, and at once bitcoin price has no meaning

If Internet is getting shut down, that will make bitcoin prices to go down. But I believe if the Internet goes down then we can not use bitcoin. Then there is no matter what price bitcoin has at the time. Internet is also a decentralized network, there are no chances it is getting shut down completely.

Just 12 runs need in 32 balls while Sri Lanka has 8 wickets in hand i think so it will be easy for it to beat New Zealand after very poor performance into first and second match but today it is brilliant well done Sri Lanka for this comeback.

Today can't believe the SL batting performance and luckily I didn't bet on this match, otherwise I might have lost the bet because surely I would have gone with NZ. Now this series become 2-1. Solid batting performance from SL team, Gunathilaka made sure NZ's bowlers didn't have any chance, by scoring a fast fifty and set things up for the rest of the batsmen well.

Yes many gamblers wrongly bet on this match as they were very much negative with Sri Lanka's performance, which was based on second ODI of this series. Now Sri Lanka is staying alive in this series by preventing the host to capture ODI series too.

I do not think this winning of Sri Lanka will not affect the series performance for New Zealand. They got 2 more chance to clinch this series. At the same time it would be much harder for Sri Lank to win both of the remaining two matches against the hosts.
4752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: December 31, 2015, 04:41:20 AM
Yes. I'm trying to but it's hard to hold them when you need to spend at some point. Very hard.

To hold bitcoin for long-term, you must have some other source of income for your living.
Or, you must buy some bitcoin from your regular salary just like an investment on monthly basis.
Otherwise, if you are making some bitcoin and if you in need of any online purchase, then it will be very hard to hold your bitcoins for long-term.
4753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: December 31, 2015, 04:37:47 AM
Why not? As long as I can use it to buy products on store or online, or able to exchange it to dollar. Bitcoin becomes popular now. In a few years' time bitcoin will become standard way of payment, same as paypal or skrill etc

I believe now itself bitcoin is more popular and widely used than PayPal or skill or any other online payment processor. Just to because of very less fees and no time taking verification process. You can use bitcoin wallets instantly.

If you're able to and willing to spend bitcoin now itself then bitcoin is the real money to you.
4754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the global currency of Earth on: December 31, 2015, 04:29:24 AM
Bitcoin can become a global currency, but there is a long way to go.
First of all financial institutions should accept bitcoin being a valid/legal form of ledger.
Yes, i think so.  Its will long time for global currency. Because still many people don't know about bitcoin and some countries not allow trading bitcoin

Agreed. There are long way to go to achieve the status of to the global currency of earth.
But when considering within six years of time span, bitcoin has reached this much popularity and adopted by many online business, it is highly possible for bitcoin to become global currency of earth.

4756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: December 30, 2015, 06:40:16 PM
Prime motto for people start to gamble is a possibility to earn some money. Somehow it can start to be addiction. If there is addiction because of game play, to feel excitement, or just see only $$$ this is about everyovene responsibility.
Yes but if you allow anything to start effecting you then it's solely your own fault .
Excitement and Fun is just a part of it but s you said people re into it just to make some quick bucks and some might even get lucky

If you aim for making money then gambling is not the right way unless you're not an expert with the gambling.
Gambling now a days has turned to entertain people rather than making some profits. But many people are still misunderstanding the gambling and trying to make fortunes out of it and wasting their bitcoin and time.

You are right.
The actual investment into bitcoin is not only for making profit but it is a fee we need to pay for the gambling thrills and pressures. So, to enjoy those entertainment of gambling we need to pay some money in terms of investment and we can not expect any returns from the investment that is the reason we are saying in gambling money is not everything.

Everything cost some money to us in this world. So the gambling fun also has some price tag with it. If you want to enjoy the fun of gambling we need to pay some price to it. That is the reason, we are paying some money into gambling in the name of initial capital.
But fortunately if your luck favors, you can get some returns from your deposits.
4757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: December 30, 2015, 06:36:24 PM
Whenever i gamble i put a daily limit on my money.
F.e. I will never spend more then 0.1 BTC per day. This way i am sure i won't lose all my money.

But 0.1 bitcoin must be a big money for me. If you have 0.1BTC daily limit means, I guess you will loose the this amount of money every day. That is too danger. You will continue over gambling like with the thought of your not losing big money every day.
I would like to know how many days you are ending up your day in gambling with profits.
4758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: December 29, 2015, 08:11:30 PM
Is their any safe methods to gamble? Means without losing much of our money can gamble?

Any tips or suggestions?

yes it is true the safe method can make you will not necessarily lose a lot of money.
I always use safe methods in sports gambling and dice. although it does not always guarantee a win but good enough to not lose more.

Perfect. The safe way of gambling assists myself to continue my gambling without any big losses to loose all my investment at once. Without safe ways of gambling I was thrown away from gambling so often which has forced we to invest again and again into gambling to continue with gambling.
previously I never used the method is safe, I always take a risk, but if win maybe I get a lot. but mostly I lost.
so At this time I always use a safe method.

I believe the most professional gamblers always go with safe way of gambling. With the experience and practice every gambler can do safe way of gambling to ensure without any big losses while gambling. Like many people are thinking safe way of gambling will give you definite profit it is not like that, it will not let you to loose quickly.
4759  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: December 29, 2015, 08:05:29 PM
With a simple search in google or in youtube you can see the girls use bitcoin.
Maybe we can discuss why the number of girls is small comparing to guys.
But this depends on people's preferences and the number of girls involved in technology.

Yes, girls are also using bitcoins for daily spending as well as for investment purpose. But they use it in very low amount similar to the number of female users. I guess the women bitcoiners also keeping bitcoin in high risky portfolio category to make smaller amounts of investments with it.

Personally i haven't seen any of girls using bitcoin nowadays.
They are pretty much not interested in internet payment methods unless they work for bitcoin startups/company

Yes. I would say girls would be the late adopters of bitcoin ecosystem. Because once men prove advantages and ease
of using bitcoin, then girls will start using it and will make it mainstream. It means the girls are just watching how the bitcoin ecosystem is going and testing with men. On seeing the better results, I believe they will join the party.
