481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If I bought all my alt coins with ETH & ETH disappears, would I lose everything? on: February 21, 2018, 02:52:33 PM
Let's say I bought all my altcoins with ETH and all of us sudden, ETH disappears from the market. would everyone who bought their altcoins with ETH lose their entire investment? just wondering what would happen to all the alt coin holders who bought their alt coins with ETH  if that ever happened (of course I know it never will)
What kind of disappearance you are referring to? Technically which is the total shutdown of ETH blockchain or price total crash that makes it zero value in the market resulting in a disappearance, if it's about the price or value then its a 50-50% chance that your entire investment will get back that will depend on the current situation of the market, if your asking technically then your eth are not gonna disappear just wait for the new platform adaptation like the above said.
482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if you lose $2,000 in trading? on: February 20, 2018, 05:45:39 PM
Losing your hard earned money on trading is one of the traumatic experiences that might happen to you.  This is usually happen when you are so bullish on the coins you are investing. Here are my thoughts on how to redeem you from this kind of experience.
You should not spend your HARD earned money on trading, trade what you can afford to lose.

         b. Playing aggressive – Since I have too much ego in my head I put all my money in one coins only. I didn’t consider altcoins to hedge risk from BTC. There are altcoins who doesn’t affect much by this massive correction.
So what is the relationship between playing aggressive and putting all your hard earned money into one coin? it must be Playing with my ego or too much trust will kill you.

         c. Didn’t follow my trading plan – Foundation of trading practice is to follow the plan you have originally set. Your exit strategy is one of those important decisions you will made. It composes of selling and cut loss strategy.
Sometimes, things don't work according to your plans, cryptocurrency is a harsh environment full of surprises and unpredictable events which will lead you from abandoning the original plans or strategy.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: from token to ETH on: February 20, 2018, 05:17:53 PM
If my erc20 tokens gets a value, How can i convert my erc20 token to ETH?
Aside from Etherdelta and IDEX, you can use Radarrelay to trade ERC20 tokens to ETH but always remember to consult your manager or the developers itself first about what exchanges they're gonna release the said tokens to be tradeable publicly easily or you can wait for their announcements cause there's a lot of exchanges for ERC20 tokens and eth, make it sure your wallet have eth balance as they needed for the transactions of the trade, otherwise it will not work on your end.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Theft Going Offline: In-Person Attacks Becoming More Common on: February 20, 2018, 05:06:35 PM
That's terrible news. How should we avoid it?
Don't boast that you have tons of precious coins online whether it is bitcoin, altcoins or any other forms of money which you have a business with cryptocurrency, that is the risk of showing off online that you are into crypto business even if you are a small time holder or not, they will think that you are rich cause the mindset of people knowing that you owned cryptocurrency is that you are super rich, well the criminals will not have a dilemma for transferring large amount of money because it is decentralized rather than a transfer from a bank which posesses some restriction, better to stay low profile not just on bitcoin but on any other financial businesses that are not necessay to say in public.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legendary video game company Atari is investing in cryptocurrency. on: February 20, 2018, 04:38:41 PM
That sounds very good. I wonder for a long time, why the games industry has not already entered the crypto market. I think that would also reach many people.
But I think there are already considerations in the background and I think in the next few years they will take the step.
There's a lot of gaming ICO's company that's is correlated into cryptocurrency itself, some of them used the eth blockchain making them accessible via ERC20 wallets for their currencies or tokens and some of them literally created their own blockchain for their own platforms, in the former days Steam accepts bitcoin as a form of payment for their platform but in the present they are not accepting anymore due to its nature problems with volatility, speed and transaction cost.
486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my ether wallet can be hacked??/ on: February 19, 2018, 06:03:15 AM
Recently few days i am worried about cybar attack dec 25 i was lost my valuable token. Now i am confused and ask a question in my mind mew can be hack? please give me any suggestion i am afraid now.
MEW cannot be hacked unless someone can access your private keys. You don't have to store the private keys in your computer it is better to store it in a pen drive or write in a piece of paper. And keep good antivirus on yiur computer to stay away from phishing links which can copy yiur private keys.
Yesterday i was faced a big problem ,mew was not working properly and most of tx were fail.I lost my most coin for delta attack than i am afraid .do u use your mew wallet yesterday??
Yes ED got hacked and the attacker got access from their DNS, fake order books and fake social media accounts got released from the fake website that incident happens last month, that's why it looks suspicious that time and I decided not to trade with ED until now as the website load slower than before, what kind of fail transaction did happen? can you put the tx here in your thread so that we can check what wrong with your transactions? better use another eth wallet as it seems your former wallet got compromised for the last attack.
487  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you trust chart analysts? on: February 19, 2018, 05:47:13 AM
supply,demand and NEWS.
The first and second points are correct but the third one NEWS? really? some of them is like poison in the community, they keep on spreading false information and chart analysis when it comes to bitcoin, not all of them did the same thing only the bias and one-sided news articles and channels spread the FUD in the community, you can check most of the news online saying that bitcoin bubble just burst to sell it before its too late or the non stop FUD that bitcoin is dead, how many times did bitcoin died from them?
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Markets and cryptomarkets reluctant to grow on: February 19, 2018, 05:34:04 AM
Cryptocurrency markets needs a ton of improvements, upgrades and ideas as blockchain technology adaptation throughout the industries are still in progress and some of them refuse to innovate though they needed that technology to transcend, there's a lot of rooms for the growth and potential so it is not reluctant for the innovation as it is distinctive to the traditional markets that we have today. The graph itself can be a bit alike but there's a huge gap between the both of them.

Darknet markets, also known as cryptomarkets, are websites located on the Darknet and designed to allow the trafficking of illicit products, mainly drugs. This study aims .... As a cryptomarket grows, the number of bitcoins held in escrow may become huge and constitute a target for hackers or even administrators themselves.
How about some illegal websites on the deep dark web that accepts fiat as a form of payment?
489  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: February 12, 2018, 04:08:23 PM
Well, we all suffer of some biases, and focus only on the things we are confortable with.
Altcoin may be are profitable, but they are too unpredictable to invest in them.
Most of the altcoins who are in the top spot did gain so much increase in their prices that's why bitcoin dominance almost fall to 30% which if I recall correctly bitcoin dominance last year ranges from 60 to 75% observe that if you're going for altcoins beside bitcoin, you gained so much from your initial investments, that's correct as some people are not knowledgeable in altcoins, they just knew bitcoin which is given by its popularity and potentials. We've missed a lot of rockets these days.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China is blocking all the Crypto-Currency Exchange sites and ICOs on: February 12, 2018, 03:45:58 PM
After such news, bitcoin will fall even lower. It seems that we are really waiting for support at $ 600.
This news is pretty old if you're talking about the ban on bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and ICO's, last year China already imposed the ban on this coin, but guess the month of December what is the price before the weeks of Christmas? did it dump 600 USD? it's true that it decreases from 20k to a fluctuating price of 8k range, so for me, I doubt it will dump that much, btc gained so much fame, supporters and big investors with a great support from their owned platforms.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MyCrypto or MyEtherWallet on: February 12, 2018, 03:36:40 PM
They are going for a split team, it's questionable what is the real reason why they need to create a new brand, company and wallet servicing platform for ethereum, as of now MEW is still the recommended wallets most especially for ERC20 tokens cause the new platform is planning for the beta phase of the Mycrypto. I hope the conflict between the devs does not cause any damage to the community thus they are helping to innovate and protect their clients by using their platforms.
492  Economy / Economics / Re: Where you see a Crash, I see a Fire Sale! on: February 11, 2018, 04:01:55 PM
How many times had bitcoin died and crashed? from the start of the era of this coin up until now, the freaking media and the fudder groups makes it dead from the eyes of the holders, posting some articles and news, bitcoin is a bubble, the coins just burst, jump from the hype boat, its a scam coin don't buy, again and again the cycles of their words don't fail to frustrate me from the beginning, yet here we are again, golden opportunity to grab, like the OP, said it's a freaking fire sale party don't miss it saying at the end of the day I failed to ride the rocket.
493  Economy / Economics / Re: List of Decentralized/Centralized Exchanges on: February 11, 2018, 03:48:46 PM
Nice presentation for crypto exchanges, it shows that you took some tremendous effort to work with this. You forgot to add RADAR RELAY a decentralized exchange for ERC20 tokens, easy and convenient to use. Just some suggestions, can you add the upcoming and frauds exchanges from this list so that the readers and newbies are aware of this, your thread design can catch the attention of the newbies who are constantly asking the same questions about this topic, ignoring the existing threads about exchanges.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be taxed, How will that affect the investment? on: February 11, 2018, 03:24:20 PM
Bitcoin, the largest and most well-known digital currency, operates under anonymity but can track traces as it has electronic diaries that track every transaction. Although all buyer and seller information is a string of letters and numbers, there is technology available to track and capture illegal bitcoins.
BTCBTCBTC
As long as your not using any centralized wallets or exchanges that requires verification from its users you are still anonymous, transactions are transparent, it cannot be rewritten by anyone nor delete so the catch is you own the private key, no KYC compliance, and ID verifications you are anonymous, but there's a way to cover your transactions trail and that is by using mixing services, you can search that so you can fully understand how it works, Google is a powerful tool.
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can be done to stop bitcoin price from sliding down again on: February 11, 2018, 03:10:44 PM
it is still higher than this time last year so what are we complaining about

Do you know bitcoin was $20,000 last year?
siclan is talking about the price before that, 20k all-time price mark just occurred in December, but before that, the price ranges from 1000 to 5000 USD which is pretty low. You can include the negative fluctuations in its price so it's still good that the price of btc did not fall under 5k, market cap is still 140 bln compare to last time which is 50 billion USD

just buy if prices go down and sell if they go up Grin
With perfect timing, you can assume that it is the lowest or the highest price though it is not.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: any opinions regarding MyEtherwallet.com? on: February 10, 2018, 04:10:37 PM
Apparently someone hacked or took over administration uses on their main twitter account and that has some worried about the fact of whether they are a safe intermediary wallet to use for erc 20 based tokens, any opinions or better suggestions?
I think this is a conflict between the devs of myetherwallet refer to their tweets on twitter they probably split into 2 wallet services or team, the new one is MyCrypto.com and myetherwallet they are referring to phishing sites that claimed it has been hijacked or hacked, you can check the Mycrypto twitter account for this concerns but to be safe as long as the issues are not settled yet, keep all your private keys safe somewhere or use metamask or other reputable software to generate a new ether addresses.
497  Economy / Economics / Re: bank on australian allow customers to purchase cryptocurrencies on: February 10, 2018, 03:48:36 PM
Well that's good news. I heard Canada is opening a Cryptocurrency storage this may sound weird but its also a good thing for the whole crypto community. Soon, well see more banks opening their doors to us inviting more investors to crypto.
Looks like a big cold storage vault like a regular money have? but it contains digital currencies, that's cool though I heard Xapo has also a vault for crypto, they called it Xapo swiss vault here's the article https://qz.com/1103310/photos-the-secret-swiss-mountain-bunker-where-millionaires-stash-their-bitcoins/

news from this country is not very influential, China is still a legit news to make bitcoin bubble. during the Chinese New Year to finished bitcoin doesn't being a bubble
whether it is influential or not, what it matters is that there's still news and articles like this which is beneficial for the coin itself, little help counts. China makes a legit news to make bitcoin bubble? we know the incidents that drive the community crazy this past year but what is the response of the price? it's the opposite.
498  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins, Support and Hates on: February 10, 2018, 03:29:37 PM

Many of these businessman who support Bitcoins to exist and acceptance become a major commodity in the stock market for long time, but many others reject its presence because it can damage the existing system of bank order, which will disrupt their economic stability.
It can damage their businesses, influence and power to our existing monetary system that is the right term for that, banks can adapt as long as they like but blockchain is the game changer to our existing system to the point that it can remove the said points to their position that's why they are angry to this type of system for currencies, cryptocurrencies is still in the experimental phase, a lot of improvements and upgrades is necessary.
499  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Will be Zero on: February 09, 2018, 12:56:52 PM
Most likely the author of this topic was reading outdated news. But even if they are new, this is just another negative news background. Because the market is still in a downward movement. The price for Bitcoin 0 is simply not possible at least due to capitalization.
They are freshly new made news from a bias and Fudders mainstream media, one google search of that topic then boom, you will see bitcoin is a scam or dead, it's really common to see them spreading these lies, injecting their articles and news to the newbie holders.

In the morning I read the news where one of the leading multinational finance company stats that the “Bitcoin & Other Cryptocurrency will be zero”. So is it possible? If possible then which instructions should be followed getting out of debt?
That news is nearly impossible right now, still, BTC has tons of supporters and investors and if that day would come that bitcoin almost reach zero value, some whales would probably take a bath from a cheap price of btc pumping the price again.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your altcoin experience? on: January 14, 2018, 02:56:55 PM
How many kinds of altcoin do you have?   profit?
I'm still a starter to cryptocurrency so I have at least 6 kinds of altcoins they are Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Nem, Dash and Z cash, 2 ERC20 tokens earned from bounties and 2 mosaics, the main crypto, of course, is bitcoin, there is not much profit from it because I'm still starting to build my investments and coins but probably in the future I will reap the moon of profit from my game strategy for cryptocurrencies.
