481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO Dying ? on: February 08, 2019, 01:01:32 PM
The ICO market is still very active and their have been a number of new ICO in recent time and that is an indication that the ICO market is not dead yet, what is affecting the ICO market mostly is the recent raise of cases of scam and failed projects this has affected the quest to invest in new projects.
482  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: February 08, 2019, 12:57:07 PM
Both fear and greed are two destructive elements both to an investors and an ordinary man on the street, while fear can safe your life but can never give you the answer you want greed on the other hand can push you to a point that you will be left with nothing at all. And that is what is happening right now in the cryptocurrency community.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Design is important for ICO projects on: February 07, 2019, 06:22:37 PM
Nice skill because design is what gives the first impression about the project and at that design plays a major role in the project development, but the fact still remains that good design alone can't guarantee the success of a project but a working product does.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On reversible transactions on: February 07, 2019, 06:02:18 PM
Your second option and suggestion is OK by me, for transactions to auto reverse if not confirmed by the receiver I think if that option is added it will be OK. But your first point is where am finding hard to understand do you mean a wallet that received certain amount of bitcoin should be  locked for some time before the owner is able to send it out, in that way we will not have the fast transactions rate that we always look forward in bitcoin.
485  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Africa isn't poor - Africa is being raped. on: February 07, 2019, 05:27:43 PM
The blankpantha vibraniam shows how powerful the African continent can be if only it can look inward and develope their technology, but the African as we have today is a continent with confused leaders and blind followers who only celebrate wealth without asking for the source of such wealth.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto as a payment method for goods: what to expect in 2019 on: February 07, 2019, 05:20:08 PM
I think a lot of new stores are going to open for bitcoin as a means of making payment on their platform and at that it will further enhance and increase the market capitalization for bitcoin because it will increase the demand for bitcoin.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to invest in for a beginner on: February 07, 2019, 04:56:14 PM
To invest in a new coin is very difficult due to the raises cases of scam project all around, but if you must go for a new coin then you have to carry out some deep research about the project to see if it meet the requirements to succeed in the market and having a working product. And the only coin I will advice you take a look at is mv8 coin which is still at it ICO stage to end in march.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China banned ICO's not Bitcoin idiots! on: February 07, 2019, 03:15:16 PM
Only idiots will believe such garbage being soled out all in the name of news, because it all ment to discredit the credibility of bitcoin how in God name is bitcoin related to ICO and people don't even care to carry out little research about the two points which is bitcoin/ICO bitcoin is the mother coin in cryptocurrency world and ICO is just an initial coin offering which has not even gotten listed for trading yet.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Indian government is worried that cryptocurrencies may destabilise the rupee on: February 07, 2019, 03:00:10 PM
Well the bank as the traditional financial institution will try everything within it power to push the government against bitcoin and at that will say the acceptance of bitcoin as a payment method in India will distarbilize the rupee, but that is not the truth and allowing free flows of bitcoin will further help the growth of the India economy in general.
490  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nike Shoe offends Muslims wtf on: February 06, 2019, 08:00:37 PM
There's no shortage of offensive material out there, if you look hard enough.  And no matter how civil you intend to be someone will be offended by something you say or do.  It's unavoidable.

Something specific about Arab culture which many Americans find curious; it is offensive to show the bottom of your shoes to someone.  So if you are sitting with your legs crossed, who ever happens to be in direct line-of-sight of the bottom of your shoes may take offense.

That is insanity how can my shoe bottom be an offense to any one if they culture forbids that then they should not come out to where civilized people are in other not to get offended because everyone out they is leaving his or her life and don't let your own infringe on the other person freedom to express his self both in speech and dressing.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Courage for cryptocurrency participants on: February 06, 2019, 07:55:41 PM
The courage to always start afresh is what give birth to success in any business and commodities that are as volatile as crypto you always need to base your self up on the need to be persistent both in you portfolio and trading many a times their is always a fall in your investment and you feel like giving up but just know that after the storms there comes a brighter day ahead.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC on: February 06, 2019, 07:18:26 PM
Well a process is always a process no Matter the amount involved, the kyc process is a way in which the network and project get to know it users and customers and at that it very necessary for the sustainability of the cryptocurrency network if we really want to provide security and regulations to the entire system.
493  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Now Officially In Its Longest Bear Market Ever on: February 06, 2019, 07:15:40 PM
Bitcoin has officially entered the longest stretch of declining prices in its 10-year history.

The world’s oldest and most valuable cryptocurrency achieved an all-time high of $19,764 on Dec. 17, 2017 on the CoinDesk Bitcoin Price Index and has printed a series of lower price highs ever since, making February 2 (as per UTC time), the 411th consecutive day prices have been in decline.

As such, bitcoin’s latest stretch surpasses the duration of the infamous 2013-2015 bitcoin bear market, which spanned 410 days from its price high to low.

the full article can be found here https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoins-price-longest-ever-bear-market
What statistical basis do this analysis comes from because to me how can a commodity such as bitcoin that dose not have a fix price be rated mathematically to be on a decline, yes the price of bitcoin have been on a decline since after the all time rise in 2017 but that can not stop us from taking into account the various recovery that has take place since January 2018 till date.
494  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Bitcoin is still down? on: February 06, 2019, 07:11:09 PM
The only way which the value of bitcoin can be lifted up in the market is by high demands once the level of the demand for bitcoin increase the price of bitcoin will automatically go up, since bitcoin operate on the law of demands and supply so once the demands raises the value will also increase.

496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $1.7 billion in Bitcoin stolen on: February 03, 2019, 07:47:33 PM
$1.7 billion bitcoin being being stolen since the advent of bitcoin that is a huge amount but my contradiction is is this total some the whole of the hacks that have happen to companies and exchange site's, because if it doesn't then the statistics is not yet correct their have being huge loses in the pass involving major exchanges both in bitcoin and all the other altcoins.
497  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Blind Rules on: February 03, 2019, 07:42:28 PM
Thank you for replying.  I saw all these signs linked to my account but these all happened in past and my account was banned yesterday.  I am not sure for any plagiarism but if these were the reasons of my account ban, why didn't it happen at the right time ?  it is happening now after a year !
Most times moderators are too busy to fine out your offenses but once they can lay hold of it they do they job, it doesn't matter when and how the offense was committed once the moderators have any evidence against you they carry out their job. So you have to let go and take it as one of those things in life.
498  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you feel about market regulation? on: February 03, 2019, 07:30:13 PM
Despite the fact that the bitcoin network can fend for it self due to it decentralized nature the fact still still remains that it still need some form of regulations in other to give it the legal identity it deserve and secondly to prevent people being scam without ant trace but once it regulated the identity of users can easily be verified and scam being prevented.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the ICO culture dead already? on: February 03, 2019, 11:15:03 AM
I will not say that the ICO market is dead but there have been slow past of invent in the ICO market due to lack of trust from the members of the community and this is as the result of so many scam and failed projects but if you still take a deep look you will still fine some project which are worth investing in but you must first of all carryout strong research on your own before investing in any. One among them is the mb8coin which is still at their ICO stage to end in march 31 so just take a look.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we not abusing decentralization? on: February 03, 2019, 10:41:57 AM
In every innovations there is already challenges just like what we are having today and people being scam here and there, but the fact still remains that all the scam activities is mostly carried out using centralized method e.g the introduction of scam project and this is mostly done using the bounty means and creation of new projects without any working products but this is outside Santoshi original dream of having a decentralized platforms using the blockchain.
