1321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 03, 2018, 03:58:51 PM
Well is the same all over the world, no investment comes without risk to succeed in any business you must be ready to take risk and some time some risk are worth taking just like in the case of bitcoin if you take risk in investing in bitcoin and leave it for a long time not minding it price you stand to gain huge when the Price will go up. I prefer investing my money in bitcoin rather then banks because their interest can not be compared.
1322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the world’s 6th largest currency on: June 03, 2018, 01:19:18 PM
Bitcoin with it few years of existence is already rank as the 6th largest currency of the world, that is to show how fast the bitcoin network is growing and gaining popularity. In no time from now let say before 2020 bitcoin will be the world leading and largest currency and at that time it price will be above $15000 to $20000.
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any advice for a newbie? on: June 02, 2018, 09:31:12 AM
I think this is best known to you as the owner of the assets but to me I think diversification is also good in any thing most especially when it has to do with making profits, just take your time to study the market and make the right choice you can invest half of your capital in bitcoin and spread the rest on other token's.
1324  Economy / Economics / Re: Speculation on BTC on: June 02, 2018, 09:26:36 AM
Most times I don't believe in all those prediction having the knowledge of how volatile the bitcoin marked is and how it operate on the economic law of demands and supply, bitcoin will only rise in price when the demands for it become high and the Price is also determine by the same demands. So any one is free to predict but not to make statement which you are not an authority in the operation of the market. Bitcoin is decentralized.
1325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Ban In India on: June 02, 2018, 09:16:39 AM
Most of the negative news about bitcoin and the cryptocurrency entirely are most times rumors and FUDs spreading Lie's in other to take advantage of the market, they are out of stock and are looking for ways to cause panic in the system so that newbies will begin to rush into panic selling and they buy cheap. The government can only place some regulations on it operations but not total ban.
1326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is the vehicle, we run it on: June 02, 2018, 09:12:22 AM
So many of them that are promoting the negative side of bitcoin are the enemy of bitcoin, and also those who are using bitcoin for illegal transactions. Because bitcoin as every other commodity and as a currency can be use for which ever purpose the holder wishes to use it for.
1327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Advertising on: June 02, 2018, 09:09:34 AM
Bitcoin is gaining popularity and adoption on daily basis, yesterday there was a seminar which was air live on television station in my country and the seminar was on how to trade in bitcoin, that is to show that very soon bitcoin will become the world universal currency which will be use across borders.
1328  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society on: June 01, 2018, 05:28:21 PM
My country as a third world country is still coming to reality of the cashless economy but we have some level of progress in that direction due to the fact that the number of educated people are in the increase and at that so many people are now optioning in to online payment method which bitcoin as a digital currency is one of them making buy and selling across borders easy and fast.
1329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: June 01, 2018, 05:20:54 PM
The community decentralization of bitcoin is not effecting any thing in bitcoin, and again no alternative cryptocurrency has the capacity to compete with bitcoin in terms of price because bitcoin still determine the Price of most coins in the market. For example if the Price of bitcoin start falling you will also see all other coin falling in price but once bitcoin recover you see the other coins recovering.
1330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: June 01, 2018, 05:12:45 PM
The only way to guarantee the security of your account or bitcoin wallet is buy keeping all the necessary file that follows your wallet safe this is because bitcoin as a decentralized and highly secured platform operate on a high security protocol which only you have the full access to your Wallet aside you no one Else.
1331  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin's daily price fluctuations getting smaller and smaller? on: May 31, 2018, 06:48:11 PM
Bitcoin price fluctuations is as a result of the volatility in the bitcoin market and price, since bitcoin operate on the economic law of demands and supply it price will for ever be determined by the level of demands at every direction. When the demands for bitcoin get high the result will be high price and when it demands get low the Price will also falls down that is how it works.
1332  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to bitcoin? on: May 31, 2018, 06:43:21 PM
Those who invest in bitcoin during the last December when the price of bitcoin was around $19000 will be counting they loses at the present bitcoin price that is if they decide to sell they bitcoin now but if they can be patent and hold for a while the Price of bitcoin will recover and at the end may gain a lot, since bitcoin never hard a fixed value or price. My best advice is to keep holding.
1333  Economy / Economics / Re: Factors that affects the value of bitcoin... on: May 31, 2018, 06:38:49 PM
I think the most factor that effects the value of bitcoin either negative or in positive direction is the information that the people feeds on, a positive news about bitcoin has the capacity to draw new investor's into it and at the same time increase the demands for bitcoin which will ultimately increase it price in a positive direction. Also any negative information has the ability to reduce the demands for bitcoin which will lead to fall in price at the same time.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My opinion about ETH on: May 31, 2018, 06:05:40 PM
Despite the fact the ETH is the mother that house all altcoins it can not in any way be compared to bitcoin in terms of price, because etheruem still depends on bitcoin in time of either price rise or falls. The two have different function bitcoin is design to be highly inclusive while ethereum is a little bit open so bitcoin will for ever be the leading figure in the world of crypto currency.
1335  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: May 30, 2018, 06:56:32 PM
Hello guys,

To me, it seems pretty strange that people actually continues buying btc now...
I understood why they wanted to invest in btc before, after the Chyprus crisis, and all the articles in the media. But now?

I don't get it.

Bitcoin is useless, and will most likely never be used as a currency. I spent hours trying to get my first bitcoins (satoshi actually), and after working for ages, I only got 0.002 btc, which does not even allow me to proceed to a transaction (the fees are higherthan that amount  Roll Eyes ). When you compare it with CC or paypal, it seems that they are free to use in comparison! Not to mention the time required to actually proceed to a transaction which can be anything between 1 minute and ... 1 year (or more?).

The only possible reason I see people are buying btc is that they (truly) believe that the price will increase, and want to make more profit. I think that 99.99 % of the bitcoins exchanged are never withdrawn from the exchangers, and the people are only waiting to make some profits. What makes them believe that the price will rise? Because the amount of bitcoins is limited? Because lost coins can never be recovered? I have no clue.

An other problem is the "mining" part. Soon, the difficulty will increase, CPU and GPU mining will be useless. People will stop mining bitcoins and try LTC or something easy to get... The interest in btc will decrease.

Other issues:
- security. Not a single company was able to provide a "professional" service. Bitcoin-24 has a serious problem ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=174600.0 ). Even mtgox was critized for the lags, problems with missing coins, money, delay, and so on ... The hacks are countless (you can see new topics about that every day ...).

I can't see anything positive about btc, and still can't get why people are buying it. Can any captain obvious explains? Thanks.
A high ranking member of the bitcointalk.org  a community of bitcoin lovers can post this about bitcoin, that show you lack of knowledge of what bitcoin really is aside seeing bitcoin as just an investment platform or a get rich quick scheme. But bitcoin is more then that bitcoin is a currency which can be use across border and free from any interference from government or any institutions.
1336  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversify Investments on: May 30, 2018, 06:51:58 PM
Diversification is good but at that there is no investment that does not have it own ups and Down but some risk are worth taking then other, if you invest in altcoin you may end up making lots of profits within a short period and again you can also lose your investment up to zero level most altcoin fall as deep as 80%, you may also invest in bitcoin and be ready to wait for a long Time to make good profit.
1337  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's suppose that Bitcoin became universal (used everywhere you go) on: May 30, 2018, 06:47:16 PM
If bitcoin becomes the universal currency which will be accepted and use at every level of the society the government will have no choice then to adopt bitcoin and bringing about the total financial freedom bitcoin have been design to bring, but you should also no that freedom comes with a price the government will now be directly involved in bitcoin bringing about the introduction of tax and regulations.
1338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late? (To buy Bitcoin now) on: May 30, 2018, 06:38:06 PM
Well no matter what comes I don't think there is ever a time as too late in buying or investing in bitcoin, with your analysis you judge bitcoin just like centralized commodity forgetting the fact that bitcoin is decentralized and at that any thing can happen in it market. No matter the amount or the level of awareness about bitcoin it will for ever remain profiting at any point.
1339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: May 30, 2018, 03:04:21 PM
Santoshi is you and me, everyone who believe and appreciate the technology behind digital currency and using it as a currency, a peer to peer method of sending and receiving money and also an investment platform that give profits for holding bitcoin and also giving the the financial freedom of there life. Santoshi is us.
1340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are still buying Bitcoin? on: May 29, 2018, 08:00:11 PM
This you analysis can only work for a centralized system and commodity such as gold silver and the rest but not bitcoin, because since bitcoin is decentralized it future is hard to predict and at that bitcoin can rise to any amount within  a short time. Bitcoin will rise in price very soon and it can not be compared to gold in any way even with it volatility bitcoin is the deal.
