I saw the number of the the softcap and hardcap.
Why do i think that the gap between those two is really big. Will it be enough amount to run the project if only the softcap that are reach, considering you put the hardcap that much.
That's clearly explained by the name itself. Softcap is easy to achieve and project will continue if they achieve it. Hardcap is their dream and it's hard to achieve. But if they accepted it, project will move forward without hurdles financially. Lol, you have clearly explained it. The gap in between them does not matter much as the reason they exist. The amount you need to commence operation and the amount you need to operate without hurdles can be different by a large amount. If they achieve the hardcap then it will give then boost to expand the platform with full speed. So that might be the reason they have kept hardcap 10 times than softcap. |

One thing that I really like is the "Fast Transactions, almost instantly"
It will not run as Ethereum network, where you have to wait for many confirmations, which sometimes takes a really long time?
Have you tried using any of the products to confirm the transaction speed? I assume it will be faster as they are an independent blockchain. I think in the country I live in I can not test the app yet. For that I have to wait until 2019. But maybe there are already reports from someone else? I'm also waiting for someone to give some feedback or review about the project product but it looks like no one from here try to use it. I hope there will be someone who can try it to inform us. If someone from an permitted country can post a review or give feedback about the app and the functions, it would be very helpful. What countries are in the permitted list at this moment? Only in Asian countries? That kind of information would be highly helpful I downloaded the app and i could only choose between these countries at the moment: Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand, this information should be available on their website too. I do checked the list and verified with Fiii team, for now only people from these countries can use this app. But it will be available for worldwide in November |

The Regulatory Compliance caught my attention in the comparison table you have in your website. I know that some if not many of the large exchange have what is called fake volumes and I am surprised to know that those you compared with are not compliant. Given you guys are compliant with SEC regulations (according to the whitepaper) does it mean you allow investors from the US?
This is a very important question. If they are US investors to participate in trade, then this exchange will be huge and highly successful For me the most important part is one of feature mentioned for ONAM with regards to robust risk management. How the team wants to do this? I am curious to learn the RM strategy. When it comes to exchange, there will be billions of USD worth tokens stored at the exchange. So security, Regulatory Compliance are important factors. |

The TAChain project is get a lot of interest from non crypto related project. Any one heard of these partnerships?
I didn't heard about any new partnership but if you visit on their twitter pages so you will find there some companies post are there and Tachain calling them "Our Partner". All those partner related announcements are recent one ? I have not visited their tweeter page in recent time, will do it now. It is just a matter of time now until we will hear the good news I guess. I think the presale stage is taking longer than expected. I think they are dealing with the KYC and verifications of transactions? pre-sale is still going on? I thought it's completed? Looks like Tachain team is not providing the proper updates to the investors or followers. I understand they are busy in developing the platform, but updating community is very important It's not pre-sale, but crowdsale means the public sale is going on. It will end in 71 days approx. I don't see token sale progress bar at Tachain site. Its difficult to understand how much tokens Tachain team have sold till now? I think its important to keep that information at website. |

Official website is still incomplete some links are not working properly when I clicked on them it showed errors. You should put links under the ecosystem buttons to read the functions of these features.
Interface is different. It do need some improvement. I hope team is active here and will act based on suggestions provide here. |

Wow! I guess the team is working after all, this is a great development and I hope the Android version will be released soon enough, I can't wait to see what it looks like. It's for iOS device not for Android. I thought it's Android app which everyone eagerly waiting to test. BTW, iOS app was launched a month back or it's just launched now ? Aha, this is not android app, but iOS one. I still don't see any information about Android version. Looks like we have to wait for a while now. |

They said they ran into some issues with the app development and the team never really went into specifics really which I guess is forgivable hehe
We will just have to wait and see then. Any idea if the iOS app is actually used in real life? I can't really see it or test it for that matter. Either case I hope the team sheds light on the matter as I think it is taking longer than expected and I understand that the ICO is time consuming but would great to have a clarification. There might be a chance that team don't want to spend much for now until ICO end successfully? If they spend all money now, it will be difficult to launch services on time? |

I think it’s useful in crypto but most exchanges don’t offer it I think an exchange that offers simplified stoploss via stable coin assets would be something I think a lot of newer traders would be interested in being able to use
Yea. I believe any individual trying to go into trading will have gone for training in one way or the other and must have been told about "stoploss" and its usefulness... Thus they will definitely be looking out for it in what ever exchange they pick. stoploss is very useful in trading but i believe crypto exchanges have reasons why they have not included it in crypto exchange. i believe they will with time add that feature Crypto exchanges are using smart ways like AI. Thats even better than stoplosses in other terms. ONAM will also use such AI based tools in their exchange as far as I see. I'm curious how ONAM will use AI for their exchange. I think we will know how, with the release of the MVP next month. I do not think the AI will be included in the MVP. We see that only in the finished product. the MVP will be an alpha version of the Exchange where we can probably trade 1 or 2 tokens So Onam will be first exchange who is going to use AI? If that's the case then it will be very interesting to know how it's going to work. And how beneficial it is in reality |

Mega wallet sounds great. I personally don't like to add one more wallet. Its getting too difficult to keep track of all the wallets.

I'm really hoping the Tachain team reveal the total raised so far, I can remember someone mentioning they would do this after the closed sale ends. However, their communication hasn't been great recently so I'm not sure if they will actually release this info. True, it looks like transparency must be opened here for clearer information. Because later it can make debate between users who do not know the actual details. Yeah and I'm quite nosey so I really want to know what the total is  I wonder if they have hit their softcap yet? The softcap was set at $2 million USD, would be a great achievement if they raised this during closed sale. We still not sure if softcap is reached or not? I thought they have reached softcap and I was hoping that they raised more than softcap. |

You claim to be able to achieve 10+ million TPS which is very fast if you ask me, my only question about this is, have this been tested? How did you achieve that figure?
Yes, we have done extensive testing on this. We will be publishing the benchmarks along with our Alpha/MVP release, in just a few weeks. We were able to achieve these speeds utilizing GoLang programming language designed by Google which was specifically created for computationally intense server applications and auto scaling by AWS infrastructure, along with whole host of other frameworks like aurora, redshift, docker, etc. Software architecture of the engine brings “language simplicity”, better tooling, faster compile times, concurrency model and garbage collections system, which automatically frees up memory within the software. Nice. I just wanted to check the same. many claiming that their infrastructure support millions of transaction and all. But hardly anyone tested it in reality. |

I have checked some pages of this thread and I now know what happened in last 10 days or so. There are no major events. But it seems team extended ICO end date.
Now almost all projects extend the dates of the ICO. Everyone hopes that the green market will come, and the money will flow like a river)) I'm reality we ain't waiting for one big news that will shake the world we just waiting for the right tech that will change a lot of believes and inspire new flow of money... I think thats the current phase we are in the world RN But why they extended ICO end date. And I guess about android version app launching also they postponed. But not mentioned reason exactly. Markets are poor and investors are being conservative with their money, it could take considerably longer for the team to raise a sufficient amount to develop the project comfortably. This is why they have extended it to 31st December. Many projects are currently running until December 31st. But there are not many investors right now. Of course, that means that not many of these ICOs will survive until the end of the year. But I am confident that Tachain will be successful in finding enough investors Agree. People like crypto because it's decentralized. But for now they are not investing in crypto because it's not managed properly or need some regulations, means again crypto in hand of central authority?? Crypto or fiat will always have some amount of centralization as sadly the fact is most people can't be trusted with their own security (otherwise PHISHING wouldn't be so successful of a "hack") what crypto does is give people the choice to be responsible for themselves or not. I like all the emails that have been sent recently by Securix CEO Jacobus, it's nice to see his story and background in crypto. It's very personal and it really shows the projects aims and the things they want to achieve with their project.
But on the other hand, I do hope the miners situation is sorted out soon and we hear some more info from the team. It's not good to keep hearing there isn't a plan B and that they are waiting till the token sale ends before buying mining equipment, we need to see more concrete plans.
Same here, I think they must already have the mining equipment because the people will not going to believe to them if they don't already have it and the sale will really going to get longer. I dunno they were busy setting up tha location didn’t hear if they had already received the mining hardware or ordered it yet, hopefully this willl get more information on where they stand on the progress for the building I got a response some days back from Team about the miners. The facility is ready ; Netherlands. But the miners to be used would be decided after the token sale. I guess that’s to get the best miner available. I see, So what we really need to wait now is the miners that they will going to use for this project. But I think it will really going to be good if they will going to have it as soon as possible instead of waiting the end of token sale. Since they already reached softcap so I think they can start buying miners now. But since they already mentioned that mining will start from January, so they still have some time to purchase miners. Well not really, most companies like this would want to buy in bulk and depending on how much sells during ICO will determine how big of a purchase it will be, so i'd imagine they will wait till closer to end of ICO so they can guage how many miners they will be able to afford on the overall budget beyond just the softcap amount to get the best price I agree with you mate! They will do bulk purchase around ICON close date. No point in buying now and keeping miners in box. |

For those who were wondering why Manila and the 3000 cabs. The reason they chose Manila is because of the potential it has and all the taxi drivers signed own their own cabs and are officially registered as cab drivers in the Philippines. They do not sign non official drivers.
That's true. I'm from Manila Philippines and we have a lot of cabs and taxi drivers here that they can hired for their services. Most of us also really like using these kinds of apps like to ubers and other similar companies. That's really nice to see that Tachain wants to go with only registered drivers. But many other countries also do verification of drivers. So there must be some other benefits as well. Most platforms use verification, that’s alroght, but the rating system of TAChain seems more important to taxi users. I get to choose what taxi driver is the best available while the drivers would take care of the users to get a better rating. Yes but according to the whitepaper the driver can also rate the passenger and that should be there too as some passengers can really be a pain. Hope taxi drivers and passengers don't come to. Mutual agreement and give each other good rating. That will be drawbacks of this system. I mentioned this earlier there might be flaws in the rating system here. I am looking for how they are going to fix this. They need to track if there are two much incident where both taxi driver and passenger giving high ratings to each other's. Based on that they can take action. Well both have to work for it. I don't think the passenger would be giving a good rating if his rate was terrible regardless of the reward. Just like how Uber is. Every driver strives to deliver the best riding experience some even give out cookies. My point is that there are easy means to get rating and cheating your way is not the best way about. You mean to say taxi driver giving out cookies? Well there are many in my country including Uber, but there was no one giving away any kind of cookies or chocolates: ( |
