Looking at it from the front, in the s4, which board is which chain?
One of my original B2 s4's is acting up and finally failed in a manner that kept the controller/GUI accessible. Says that chain 3 is all ----------
Cheers!
I too have ---- on chain 3.  I'm assuming it's the psu since I haven't seen it pull more than 1000w at stock speeds.  Awaiting a proper replacement to test.

That would be a good option but not exactly the same since it requires 220-240 volts to run.  I too am looking for options.

Small teaser for the S4 PSU breakout board:

White connector is for the remote switch.

And here are some pics from developpment.

The white plastic sheet was used to simulate thickness and dimensions of a metal sheet for the enclosure.

Are you offering this as a replacement psu and board for the S4?  And when will this be available if so?  Bitmain is pushing me towards their new psu but it's 220-240 volt, not exactly a replacement for us that have 110-120 volt setups.

Let us know how it goes.  I received mine just fine from him but keep us updated.

Mine reboots and each time yellow light blinks.  It's not able to power all 4 boards at once.  When I connect 2 or 3 at a time I'm golden.  Are they still using the APlusPower psu?

You'll receive it don't worry.

You shouldn't call them efficient, but they are a fun hobby miner.

That would be the thousand dollar question right now.  End of May.... June upon us, March was months ago when they were only a couple weeks away from release.  Remember them saying their in the testing stage of R&D back then.  Bullshitters are everywhere in Crypto World, didn't think Bitmain would take another backdoor to this kit again.   Tongue

Dangit now I need bigger LEDs for my stickminer. Gotta stay competitive!
It's all about the Bling! Grin

Someone was bound to have a " Bright Idea " sometime... sorry for the pun.  I'll take a 1000w bulb please.  It's neat to see these ideas but come on.  Is 2015 the year of Bitcoin swag and novelties or what?

Anyone else having problems with the leds on the boards not lighting up but asics showing ooooo?  Is it a psu problem?  Running latest firmware stock settings.  How do you tell if its the latest psu?
Are you loosing hash power as a result? If so it would be your hashboard. resetting your miner should temperately solve the problem I'm not sure if its a capacitor on the board which is going bad but something along those lines. I think it would show an x for a bad chip. i replaced caps on one of my miners hashboards one at a time till the board stopped randomly turning off.

With the small ooooo it's hard to say.  Meech are you able to show a screenshot of status page?

I have seen it before once on one of mine.  I did a reboot and was still there.  Actually went and did a power down of PSU and power back up never saw it again.  On mine it was not effecting hash if its the same. (It's been a while back I think I put firmware on it again, but I'm thinking the PSU down and up was what made it disappear been a while)
I'll try and post one later.  Thanks

Good to know thanks.  These can be bought online I presume?

I bought his first one for same asking price.  It's not vaporware guys.  The price includes shipping.

I believe the fine print stated that 75% of btc mined would go back to 21 inc.  Correct me if I'm wrong.

Emailed support.... again.... the same comment "No news".  This gets old real quick.  First there's Hype about it and dates and the it just dwindles from there.  From a PR stand point wouldn't you think at least bi-weekly updates are in order?
497  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Does anybody actually bought Hashcoins Uranus 6000Ghs Miner ? on: May 14, 2015, 11:41:37 PM
The only one who has ever seen anything from them looks to be Dogie for demonstration purposes.  Other than that I wouldn't give them a second thought.  Better things are coming, focus somewhere else...move along...move along.
498  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience BM1384 Project Development Discussion on: May 14, 2015, 06:13:16 PM
At this point why worry about a few dollars in donations or creative ways to achieve it.  It in all is just a way of saying thanks.  It's not actually enough to support what your doing at this point.
499  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience BM1384 Project Development Discussion on: May 14, 2015, 03:09:50 AM
Lol.  Truth speaks for itself in this industry, too bad there's little of it except BTCBTCBTC and yes $$$ in peoples eyes.  Breakout success is great and everyone wishes they could do that someday but not at others expense and loss.  Keep on keeping on "Engineer"!

Hey, don't forget about Novak. He doesn't talk much (as this is primarily my project) but he's actually supposed to be the head honcho - though neither of us really like being a "boss". In any case, it's a partnership and neither of us would be doing much of anything if we weren't both in on it. So don't glorify Sidehack and ignore Novak. He's actually got credentials.

Also, I like "GekkoScience - The art of self reliance". That has a good roll to it. I might have to steal it.

We don't forget about Novak - I thought GekkoScience was his dish?  That was a nod for him and you both.
Steal away.  Gaw seemingly stole "Gawesome" from me and not even a mention during their naming contest, oh well.
Seems marketing slogans are my dish.
Keep up the good work!  I'm a lurker but I'm keeping tabs on your progress.
