Linux doesnt have compute mode and doesnt need it. Most likely this is because of the cpu and chipset on the board. Try swapping it. with a rig that gives full hash. If so then its a lack of PCIe lanes as this is what slows down Zombie mode. You need a full 16 pcie lanes to get the full speed. So google the cpu for how many pcie lanes and then look in mobo manual and see what else uses and shares lanes. I have a few boards that cant provide the full lanes and others that can. Those with 16x to the slot achieve full speed the others do not.

This part in the kernel log shows that all 4 hash boards are dead, so basically you have a dead miner and that's all about it, there isn't much you can do about it, but you could try a different PSU if you have one or custom firmware that might help revive a board or two. how can they be dead its a brand new miner from bitmain never used is there anyway to fix this? i tried opening it and the boards all look clean and nothing unusual about them installed latest firmware form the l3++ also reseted the board and tried the board recovery sd flash method but still same issue is there what other options do i have? iam sure the boards are not dead i mean 1 or 2 could be dead but all 4 out of the box? New? It came out 3 years ago. Bitmain hasnt offered srcypt asics in quite some time...considering thier best offering is less than 1/3rd the speed of current scrypt asics. i bought them 3 years ago and never opened the box and decided to use them now Well the warranty period has expired for sure. Check power and make sure you have all boards hooked up properly. How many units you have (sounds like more than one)? If they are all doing this then i suspect something external is wrong...as it is very unlikely multiple new units would be DOA. Unless there is some other defect.

There is. It is not free but almost free all people here pay for 1kw 0.0008$ which means it nearly free.it was totally free years ago now it is not. If you interested write me.
People where? It still won't change anything because you can't expect people to leave their home and family behind to get to your country for mining with free electricity or near free electricity like you said, mind you something that's near free can't still be considered free Can you tell us which country you are from? China? no not china. just type on google question it will answer you in ms Well when i asked google....lowest electricity prices in world...the answer is Qatar....and its quotes $0.03/kwh. Maybe you should provide the search you are running to get it down to $0.0008/kwh because google cant find it. You asking wrong you should type countries with free electricity Ah i see not cheapest power...but free power query brought it up.

They are definitely not the exact same...see one report Asus RTX 3070 and next reports RTX 3070.....

Have a stupid question but ask - GTX Titan 6Gb can mine anything at the moment?
<CUT>Well the card was made in 2013 and is barely faster than a GTX970 so its not going to be a great miner. Power usage is probably very high as well. An R9 390 is actually faster than this card.
miner29, Thank you 4 support. There was one moment with ethminer - in some period it change reported hashrate from 0.8-1MH to 16.5MH, so... looks like it can mine eth, but ethminer have no parameter to set algo and as result it mine something wrong from pool. Anyway it's offtop and other questions are to ethminer dev. Last question: why ethminer can and phoenix can't? May be I just not found right parameters for subj? Most mining software has dropped support for very old cards where it just isnt reasonable to expect miners to use. Ethminer is opensource and supports just about all cards. There just arent very many Titan 6gb these days.

Hello all,
short two questions
20210328 16:24:55 Mining at eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999, diff: 10.00 G 20210328 16:24:55 GPU #0: ASUS RTX 3070 - 62.05 MH/s, [T:62C, P:129W, F:70%, E:481kH/W], 156/156 R:0% 20210328 16:24:55 GPU #1: RTX 3070 - 60.74 MH/s, [T:52C, P:120W, F:32%, E:510kH/W], 115/115 R:0% 20210328 16:24:55 Hashrate: 122.78 MH/s, Shares/min: 0.865 (Avr. 0.7) R: 3.321%, Avr.P: 248W, Avr.E: 495kH/W 20210328 16:24:55 Uptime: 6 hours 18 mins 33 secs | Algo: ethash | T-Rex v0.19.11 20210328 16:24:55 WD: 6 hours 18 mins 39 secs, shares 262/271
1: any ideas why the card 1 brings more than the card 2 2: what is the console parameter F:70%?
Best Regards, Willi
f:70% is fans 70% full speed Difference in cards and possibly clocks. The second card is more efficient than the first....first is using more power so its probably clocked a little higher. Check your clocks.

Hi guys
I'm getting a weird error when mining ravencoin (kawpow)
So after a few hours the miner crashes (but gpu doesn't crash)
Error messages from log:
GPU 0 ERROR - failed to allocate ethash dag buffer GPU 0 thread exiting with error. Watchdog detected all worker threads have exited, shutting down. Shutting down... Watchdog thread exiting. Successful clean shutdown.
Why am I getting ethash dag buffer error if mining kawpow?
This happens with both an rx 570 4GB, and rx 470 4GB card in separate rigs
My bat tile is the standard .bat found with my wallet and pool added plus the logging option
Not sure how to resolve this? Please advise
Thanks
Make sure your config has --algo kawpow

You cannot mine BTC with anything but an ASIC these days. The days of BTC mined by GPU are many years past.

Any info on why my rig restarts after i install a 4th card? Miner starts no problem. And from what i have seen in the log there are no errors. PC just goes off and powers on again cause i have that bios setting. If it is a power issue what would that be? I have tried 3 different psu's even dual psu setup. Any help would be much appreciated!
Are the cards directly in the Mobo or on risers? Tell us more about the setup....maybe we can provide an answer.
