481  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spot Trading vs Futures Trading on: February 19, 2024, 07:16:45 PM
what are the advantages of trading in spot? I see there are many more coins available in spot but I guess that I should be careful with liquidity of those coins...
The best are bitcoin and other well known coins. Be careful with altcoins. Gamble with altcoins. Hold bitcoin.

How can I know what coins to avoid? because of liquidity or manipulation etc? any tips when looking at the order book? spoofing etc?
You can use site like Coingecko to look for their marketcap. The higher the marketcap the better. But know that altcoins are more manipulated, especially the low cap coins.

For future trading, know that it is riskier. Very dangerous. Learn and only use small amount of money to know about how dangerous it can be.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: February 19, 2024, 07:11:37 PM
I can not bet with my last cash. That is not possible. How can I be so broke through gambling that it will let me just have the last cash after several losses. That is not possible for me.

I can gamble with the last amount of money that I have on my gambling account and which is not beyond my gambling budget. I have done that several times and either win or lose. If I lose I will have no plan to fund my account until next week payment. I will take just less than 5% to fund it.
483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Wins: Your Money Was Returned to You. on: February 19, 2024, 05:21:48 PM
When I was addicted, I lost money than I won. It was even a huge loss.

Later I do not gamble often. I can count the number of times I am gambling annually and not many at all. I only go for the games that I know I will most likely win. Because of this infrequently gambling, I make profit than loss.

But if you gamble frequently or not, just use the money that you can afford to lose to gamble and do not go more than your gambling budget which should be a small amount of money that you can afford to lose.
484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling friendly countries on: February 19, 2024, 01:29:53 PM
Why did you ask this question? I do not think anyone will want to relocate because of gambling to be tax free.

I do some findings about it and I saw this online https://www.vegasmaster.com/gambling-tax-free-countries

It might not be very accurate but when I check another site, I saw some countries that I saw on this site there.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What game will you choose for one shot big bet? on: February 19, 2024, 10:38:19 AM
I like roulette a lot. I lost 90% and remaining 10% of my money. I will go for roulette 1st, 2nd and 3rd odd type which is 3x. If I win the first time and also use all the money to bet and win the second time, then I will quit gambling that day. But the probability that I would win the first time is 33% while the probability of winning the second time is 33%. Reducing the probability of winning to be around 16.5%. So I will be expecting loss, although winning is possible.

It is good to know that this is not how I gamble.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 19, 2024, 10:04:44 AM
gambling in different casinos website will make you spend more than your budget
Are you gambling at all? All you are using just a single betting site to gamble is what I can guess. I have been an addict before and I have 3 betting sites accounts at the time which I am using for gambling. I have money in all the three site but I still use one the most. Later I moved to another gambling site which was a foreign gambling site and I did not use the other 3 again. I lost most on the fourth gambling site the money I did not lose in all the three gambling sites if you added their money together. An addict can make use of just one gambling site and spend more on gambling.
487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Questions about perpetual trading on: February 19, 2024, 09:59:52 AM
In all of these can we say that a risk management strategy is to not long the market? Because in as much as with or without leverage a trader can still get liquidated, there to manage the risk involved in not using leverage is to long the market. Correct?
Trading is not easy at all. Also as you can make money from long position, you can also make money from short position. Just make sure you use a very low leverage. You might go long and the market might start going in the short direction which is against your position. What that is best is to know when to use stop loss, I mean for you to just close the position for more losses not to happen. Losses can occur with in long or short position. It is you that should be able to manage the risk by using low leverage and using a good strategy to trade.
488  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need help with Lightning node running and making little money on: February 18, 2024, 05:51:56 PM
Some people that are running lightning node said it is not profitable. There was even a user on this forum called Rath_ that has practical knowledge about lightning network and also running his own lightning node. He has also said before on one of his posts the running a lightning node is not profitable.

You can use RaspiBlitz - DIY Bitcoin & Lightning Node on a RaspberryPi to run your own lightning node https://raspiblitz.org/
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why mega threads always be kept open on: February 18, 2024, 10:42:58 AM
Move this thread to Meta. It belongs to Meta board.

Mega threads kept open for long time, in this gambling discussion and the main gambling section I do see a thread that from the first to ten pages all the discussion answers has been given but that thread continues moving whereas all the questions been asked in the thread majority has answered it, why mega thread in gambling section, when you calm down and read some of the trading style or method you can see that some points made us is not longer in line with the aim of the thread.

Some of our discussions and points in mega thread is pointless, does it not good to have a limitations of pages in a thread and immediately the thread get to its limit page it can be lock, so that everyone have it in mind, instead of spamming and be writing in some of the thread that is up to twenty to thirty [20-30] pages, [Observation] Their is some certain things that is not suppose to discuss in thread because people have already said those points,  but base on the thread is still on and they continue to spam, some persons discussed in one thread more than five times both knowingly and unknowingly, so it's good for we to abolish some mega threads depends on the subject.
You said that the answers to threads that have 10 pages already would have been posted, which means page 11 and up are not useful. This does not apply to all threads. Example are e the major league discussion threads that people are posting what is happening presently on the leagues there. But I can understand you, some posts are like what you said, but it also applies to many threads that are not under gambling boards. In gambling boards, I noticed that long threads are often locked before, but they are not getting locked as it was before.

Also it is good to know that helpful information are mostly on page one. Those posting on page two and up are likely repeating what people had posted on page one, although they may not be reading it but just having the same opinion with the page one posters.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 17, 2024, 12:53:38 PM
Gambling on other casinos will not make you gamble more because if you are an addict, a single casino is enough to spend your money and be losing.

Gamblers may be gambling on many sites, but I noticed with me that I prefer just one of them that have the best features that I need.

Do I gamble on other casinos? Yes but not frequent.
491  Economy / Speculation / Re: More than $500k Bitcoin on: February 17, 2024, 12:09:44 PM
Bitcoin to rally more than $500k says some crypto analyst.
It is possible that bitcoin will get to $500000 but I do not think it is going to get more than $170000by 2025 is my prediction

My question is who buys it then at that price..?
This is not a question. Who are buying bitcoin now?

Although more people are already knowing that there are bull and bear time. Most people will sell if bitcoin price has gotten to six digits. If the bear time comes, expect more people to sell than buy and that could trigger another bear market.
492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No KYC Crypto Trading Platforms on: February 17, 2024, 09:28:30 AM
Let's discuss here the platforms that are completely anonymous for crypto trading. For a number of reasons, many of us would prefer not to have our personal documents held by private companies.

Please let everyone write their favorite platform and a few sentences about it.

I'll start with what our own crypto trading platform:

CoinHub: https://coinhub.cx/

Description: A new platform, lightweight and easy to trade. You can start trading with just an email address.

I'm looking forward to your opinions on the platforms you use..

You are only here to advertise that what you called your site.

Your site that was registered on 9th of January 2024. People should avoid your site if they want to avoid scammers. There are many no KYC exchanges that can be used for trading bitcoin.

These are some: https://kycnot.me

For altcoins, you will have to use those decentralized exchanges like Pancakeswap. See there list below:

493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hi let me proof to you my signals follow my trading on: February 17, 2024, 09:21:19 AM
You can see my signals
My first signal i think they are best you can find for free.

Super/usdt long***
Target 1--- 1.095$
Target 2--- 1.10$
Target 3--- 1.11$
Target 4--- 1.125$
Target 5--- 1.135$
Target 6--- 1.137$
Target 7--- 1.143$
Target 8--- 1.153$
From what you posted, how can we prove that you are even a trader? Someone that do not know how to trade can come up with something like this also. This is not a signal and this is not any proof that your signals are accurate. It is just a proof that you are not a trader.

That's good i been looking for signal provider with exacly targets i hope i can start use your signals and they are good since i been learning but it's impossible for me to success on trading Im looking for 100% correct signals just someone to provide to learn myself trading its too hard for me.
If you are not the same person as the OP, it is better not to follow anything. Go and learn how to trade for you not to fall for scam and being a scammer victim. It is clear that OP post is a blatant nonsense.
494  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Questions about perpetual trading on: February 17, 2024, 09:08:56 AM
Here the author of the topic has some confusion in terms. 1x leverage is margin trading, that is, trading using borrowed funds from the trading platform. And you can be liquidated both long and short if you don't use a stop loss. If you use a stop loss, there will be no liquidation.
Future and perpetual future trading are not the same as margin trading. The leverage in margin trading is derived from borrow funds, but that is not how future trading works.

If we mean buying perpetual Bitcoin futures without leverage, then there is no liquidation, but in the long term such assets gradually degrade in price, no matter in which direction they open due to constant rebalancing.
There is no such thing. If you are trading perpetual future, you have to use leverage.

Thank you all for responding, from what I understand with no leverage I could be liquidated if I short the market but not if I long
Yes you are correct. But you are not getting it correctly. If you use 1x, you still use leverage. Even some exchanges can let you go 0.5x which is still leverage.  Example is if you have $100 to trade and go short position with 0.5x, that means the position will be opened with $50.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do people truly risk their money on bets for profit? on: February 17, 2024, 08:53:15 AM
From my opinion, I think there isn’t any need to stake or risk one’s money on a game simply because you want to catch fun when you could simply not risk your money and still have fun while watching same game.
I don’t know if I’m really staying my points well but I wish to know if people really have to gamble without intentions of making money?
Yes you can gamble because you just want to have fun. Normally nobody like losing even if you are staking small amount of money. But as you stake small amount of money that you can afford to lose, that means you are not using gambling as a source of income although you will not like to lose but to win. You will see gamblers like that, that are staking small amount of money. So these gamblers fall under the category of gambling for fun.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Escape Debt with Gambling: A Dangerous Cycle on: February 16, 2024, 12:39:13 PM
I haven't replied to him and I am not answering his call as I feel I would be doing injustice if I say yes. I am confused and do not know what to do, what do you guys suggest?
You want you to help him by giving him money. Is that correct? Or you want you to borrow him money? If he is a good friend and you are able to give him the money without borrowing him, you can. I mean just give him an amount of money that you can afford to give a friend in a way that you can afford to lose such money too when gambling. Definitely he will lose it at last, just know that. I just want you to know that. He is an addict and addicts always lose. If the person is my friend, I will not borrow him or give him any money for gambling.
497  Economy / Reputation / Re: Back and Better on Bitcointalk on: February 16, 2024, 12:15:11 PM
His account has been unbanned which gives his alt chance not to be banned.

I also think that forum moderators are not taking ban evasion seriously because if most people that were banned evaded accounts were banned, many useful posters on this forum would have been banned because I think that some people made mistake which became a correction that made them to become later get it right and become strong on this forum.

It is only the ban evasion accounts that are known to other forum users that are reported on this forum but I guess the number of ban evasion are far greater than the ones known because users that are reporting the account can not have access to the IP addresses of people that were banned.

Also that if a an account is banned, it is the user that is banned because the user will keep on making the mistakes that get his account banned. But once he do not get that wrong again, he will see his way through from newbies to legendary easily on this forum.

In the case of Nathrixxx, I think he has the second chance now.
498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Questions about perpetual trading on: February 16, 2024, 09:48:32 AM
1/ If I don't use leverage (i.e. x1) do I risk being liquidated if my trade doesn't go in the right direction?
If it is long position, you may not be liquidated. But if it is a short position, you might be liquidated, especially if trading altcoins that can increase 2 times of its price within some hours or some days.

2/ If I don't use leverage (i.e. x1) can I keep a BTC contract, how can I do this in the Spot market?
You will be charged or given funding rate fee. This might be a disadvantage. It is better to go for spot trading if you want to go long with 1x.  To go short position, you need to use 1x leverage in future trading.
499  Economy / Reputation / Re: Plagiarist DiMarxist is back. No signature ban? on: February 16, 2024, 08:45:38 AM
Why not just mention Cyrus to bring this to his notice because I think he is the one in charge of the unbanning of those banned accounts. But I do not think it was a mistake by allowing DiMarxist not to have signature ban after the unban. The signature ban for one user is also different from the two other users, while the signature ban for Nathrixxx is also different, although all are in June.
500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football leagues to introduce 'sin-bin' & blue card for unruly players on: February 15, 2024, 02:21:57 PM
According to information that has circulated it's now been said that if a player received two blue cards or a combination of blue and yellow cards, it would still be resulting in a red card.
This is what I read about it:

However, incidents that are serious but not in the territory of second yellow cards (resulting in a red card) or a player who shows dissent on the field could be issued a blue card.

That means blue card can be given to a player that does not worth red card yet. Instead of given the player second yellow card that will result in red card, he can be given blue card with him just to leave the match for 10 minutes.

What do you think about this?
I think from a betting perspective it'd be interesting to see blue cards included in betting options actually.
Yes it will be introduced to betting, but I do not see it as anything special than the red and yellow cards because it will still be in a way that odds will not to favour the gamblers unlike the bookies.
