481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: September 02, 2017, 07:53:58 PM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.

NO regrets because when I heard about bitcoin , I signed up and did a research and study anything about it. If I only heared it earlier like 2009 maybe I am one  of those holding lots of bitcoins today.
482  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: September 02, 2017, 12:19:10 PM
It depends. if you have low salary and you think you can earn more than having a job by doing full time in bitcoin then it's better. but if you have a high salary, I would suggest  do not resign , you can still do bitcoin while you are working. Do it on your spare time.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Become A Bitcoin Expert on: September 02, 2017, 09:21:04 AM
Hello, I've been hovering around bitcoin for months and I want to become an expert in it. What resources are available and what steps can I take to know all there is to know about bitcoin and possibly reproduce the technology involved.
Thank you.

I think the best way to become an expert in bitcoin is to read everything that is related to bitcoin. There are lots of information here like in forums that you can read and learn and become an expert in it. you need to gather those information and study about it. it is not just a one day learning process but it takes time to become an expert. and this is a continous study.
484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: September 01, 2017, 07:33:26 AM
No, it's not too late to buy bitcoin because the value of bitcoin nowadays is too high and it's getting higher every year. If you have the amount that can afford to buy, why not?  It can help you in the future.
485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New at this , where should i invest my money ? on: August 29, 2017, 06:38:50 AM

You are right. Bitcoin cash is just another altcoin trying vainly to divert attention of people from bitcoins. Just like many other altcoins, the pumping and dumping phases are not for long periods. We need to invest into bitcoins for enjoying real huge profits. Without bitcoins, we are unable to stay happy in crypto world.

BCC promoter has gain so much from this hype. They just ride on bitcoins vulnerability and initiate FUDs. Bitcoin is the pioneer of all the coins and almost all altcoins are paired on it. It has a very large base community supporter and that is why I have a solid trust on it. Still, Bitcoin is King.
486  Economy / Services / Re: What is meant by 'buy wall' in yobit ico on: August 29, 2017, 06:31:19 AM
"Buy Wall" per se as what I understand is the amount set by Devs or even the whales to stop the Dumping of the said  coins. They setup this so that it will absorb or buy all coins that will be sold lower than the ico price. Something like a buy support. "Wall" something that can stop or hinder.

Re: What wallets do you use?
I always use our local exchange wallet, but recently charges are very high because of the bitcoin price surge. I am having an electrum wallet for bitcoin storage only but I am contemplating to used this also as main wallet because of the rising charges in conversion to cal value.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the ticket to heaven ... on: August 29, 2017, 05:47:52 AM
Lol. Bitcoin isn’t the key to heaven and will never be the key to heaven in the years to come. The only key that bitcoin can give you or your family is the key to wealth and the key to living a life of luxury.

Funny indeed. Bitcoin people are thinking out of this world scene in bitcoin. Yes, if you are good enough to hold your bitcoin it can really give a luxury living to your family and love ones. It is very volatile but trends are  going upwards continuously.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 29, 2017, 05:39:52 AM
Not really instant, unless you are very lucky enough like winning in lottery or other raffle contest.  But as we witness how bitcoin grow from the previous months and years, yes holding bitcoin is very rewarding.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: August 29, 2017, 03:29:58 AM
People hold onto Bitcoin in hopes that it rises in value which will give them a larger profit.
obviously, everyone is holding Bitcoin because they expect Bitcoin to have a higher price and they know Bitcoin's future will be bright.

This is most of the reasons of holders. Because Bitcoin really appreciates through time and we witness it several years and months had past. Most people are holding it, because they consider bitcoin as an asset.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of staking dividend paying Tokens on: August 29, 2017, 03:22:11 AM
ARK - Great PoS after you vote for a delegate.
RAIN - Great POS with random rewards for staking
BOAT - High Yield POS and fun coin

They are great coins. I wonder 1337 coins is still active  and also with HODL coins. I am trading this before and its nice. Though some kind of shitcoins but during their popularity, they are doing good.

Re: How long could bitcoin last?

It seems this is never ending question that always popup. As long as there are community supporting this digital currency, bitcoin will lives on. As long as it is being used and having a demand, bitcoin will still appear on our life time. As long as bitcoin continue to innovate  and reach and satisfy the demands bitcoin will continue to exists.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if someone bought up all the existing bitcoins? on: August 29, 2017, 02:16:10 AM
Though this idea is merely impossible but lets say it did happen, then i think i will find some other ways or industry to invest my money and start from scratch. Or i can invest it to other crypto currencies that are still growing and starting out. Afterall there's unlimited opportunities for you or for anyone here if ever this thing mihht happen especially you already know the trend and the industry.

Yersd it is impossible and it is not healthy too. The bitcoin must be distributed as many peoplae sa it can so that it has a healthy virtual economy. If it is controlled by only one person, then he only is using it and its boring and it defeated its purpose Smiley
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Primedice or Fortune Jack? on: August 23, 2017, 11:41:46 PM
I would like to try Gambling with small amount of BTC, just to have a hunch of how it goes.

Between the two, which one do you prefer and why? :-)

Primedice is more as a Dice Game.

FortuneJack does have lots of options to played with.

Both are paying and already built a good name in the world of cryptocurrency gambling industry. Which one I preferred? For Dice, obviously Primedice. For other gambling games, since not present on Primedice then I will choose Fortunejack if the option is only between these two gambling sites. For sports betting I used NitrogenSports. Why not to try both them and see the difference.

I agree and I am with Fortune jack too. I've seen the game interface and design and seems i like it. Though primedice is ok also, but I am more attracted to fortune jack.

496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: August 21, 2017, 12:54:18 AM
Trading is the only way for me to make money online since i am a jobless man im depending on trading everyday i don't want to lose any profit from it everyday i spend time for trading since i have lots of altcoins where i hold it for a week i don't have any reason to be disaappointment in trading unless trading site that im using is got hacked!

The same here, I try to make my bitcoin and ETH amount higher when trading altcoins. This first helped me much on making money, but then I opened wrong positions and that caused a huge loss for me. I'm completely disappointed in trading right now.

Trading also needs practiced and experience. Until you learned this at least you have develop a decision making capability. Just add it to your experienced, sooner you will be a good trader. Also learn the tools used in predicting or making decisions. It can really help. Good Luck.
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BCH threat to BTC? on: August 20, 2017, 11:53:17 PM
For me it doesn't seems like a threat at all, Bitcoin still stay strong at the top and the price is still stable over 4000$, for BCH it's just another pump and dump playing, the price is not stable, the rising is fast and the dropping is fast, BCH is lack of investors support

Not a threat at all also in my opinion. BCC or BCH is just another altcoins  IMHO. Also, this november there is another fork being talked. Another Bitcoins split is on the pipeline. But still how many they split and replicate it, Bitcoin is still the original. LOL
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: August 20, 2017, 11:44:39 PM
Originally, Bitcoin is intended to be a digital currency which is based on Satoshi's Bitcoin Whitepaper. Bitcoin possesses some characteristics of a money or currency such as a store of value, a mode of payment, etc. However, due to its decentralization, the value becomes very volatile. The price is dependent on the demand and supply in the market so no one can control this. In the aspect of currency, being too volatile is not suitable as an effective and efficient currency. As a result, BTC is behaving more like an asset than a currency.

Yeah I agree too. For me bitcoin is both a currency and an asset. As a currency you can used it to buy anything online as long as the vendor accepts it. As an asset you can buy bitcoin and hold and let it appreciates in value in time.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DAO] 🚂 The Movement | Unstoppable Organisation | Airdrop Ends 31.8 on: August 20, 2017, 11:25:19 PM
That logo needs revision there are a lot of good logo designers here in the service area, show them that and they will design accordingly, looking forward on the development of this project.

Indeed, not appealing or having no recall. Need a logo that is having an impression upon the first look. I think its better to have a logo contest and will be voted my the community and the panel. Looking forward also on the development of this project.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was there a conspiracy by ethereum inventor , vitalik buterin ? on: August 20, 2017, 11:16:53 PM
Clearly, i don't  really like ethereum. The start was good, but too many bugs... waves will fix that quickly, or Lisk.

Thats true, ETH ius far from perfect but its a good alternative and having a good projects under them. Those news about Vitalik is a hoax, not true. BTW, I read that Lisk is having a re-launch or make over. Good to hear. Waves is still a baby , but seems good also. As of now,Waves is like a testing ground, you can make your token/coin in just 1 waves? Smiley
