481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins have been around from the start on: September 30, 2019, 07:42:07 PM
I ran into Shitcoin when I first took part in a bounty campaign. It was my first signature campaign - and immediately failure. I was given a token, but it was not for sale or bought, and soon it completely disappeared from the only exchange on which it was listed. It was my bitter but valuable experience. Now I try to carefully check the projects so that the Shitcoin doesn't get into my wallet again.

We don`t have another choice but to move on. Many of us who are here for some time participated in some signature that turned out to be a scam. I carefully choose the projects to participate, but I was tricked, everything was alright, the team was looking good, they seemed so organized and they covered everything, but after a while, they just disappeared.
I didn`t get upset, I knew the risks, I still do. I hope I will not make another similar mistake, I will try to do my best when I`m researching projects, but if it happens again I will move on again. Warn people about them and move on.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you guys think about this 2 alts? on: September 30, 2019, 05:47:59 PM
I never heard for these two altcoins, I will check them both before I make conclusions. There are many altcoins now it's hard to know all of them, even harder to invest in all of them. I believe in hidden gems, there are promising projects, but simply they don't have attention now. Just remember that bitcoin had the same history, many people didn't know about btc 10 years ago, but look where it is now. Try to imagine how will cryptos market going to look in 10 years from now. When you make investment in some altcoins try to be patient with your investment, let it be for a longterm.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud? on: September 29, 2019, 05:38:26 PM
Fraud always exists around our lives. to prevent this is not possible. We can only learn and regularly read the news to avoid being scammed. Knowledge is the best thing to prevent fraud.

I like what you say here, it`s not possible to prevent fraud. They existed before, they will be here in the future, and we can`t do much about it. Education, knowledge, awareness is the key to prevent yourself to fall into the trap. I wasn`t careful before so I was scammed couple times, I mean about cryptocurrencies, I trusted people too much and I got burned. Now I`m extra careful!
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why its hard to attract investors on: September 29, 2019, 08:25:21 AM
It`s hard cause there are too many projects. An ordinary person has some money for investing, but with a couple hundred dollars you can`t invest in all of them. It`s hard to attract investors cause everyone here already has so many investments, where to find the money for more?
Many people invest in the long run, they don`t plan to dump right after the end of ICO, and to jump in another investment. Projects don`t become successful overnight as some people would like.

486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: September 28, 2019, 05:42:35 AM
China has the world's most population. where there is population surge there is economic cut throat competition. China has still a lots of people who are using the Bitcoins illegally.

Forget America and Europe , if things are transparent not through VPN then you will realize the Chinese people tend to show there love on dark market buying weeds and other stuffs. I personally have few relatives in China and this is what they all say.
The government of China is always against from something that will threaten their economy, they will counter any possibilities if they are not sure about actual control of any system that will be introduced. As you said there's a lots of chinese people who continuously use Bitcoin or crypto into illegal things like illegal gambling or trading together with drug related transactions.

Where this question comes from? One positive announcement from one of their banks and they are accepting Bitcoin as currency? After years of bans, investigations, and many negative reactions of their government towards cryptocurrencies. I don`t believe they will accept Bitcoin as a currency, ever. Maybe they will legalize cryptocurrencies, but they will have their own main currency.
Chinese people are using crypto generally, they have some serious mining groups there. But the government and laws are something else. We can say the same thing for drugs all over the world, many people use it, but it`s not legal, that doesn`t mean that drugs will be legalized one day.
487  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull or Bear season for crypto? on: September 27, 2019, 10:16:51 AM
the latest condition now in the cryptocurrency world is that we are in the bear market period. the price reduction from $ 10,000 to the price of $ 8,000 can be said to be a sizeable dump. in addition, it has a considerable effect on almost all altcoins. This makes the bear market happen. so far, I see that the decline continues, and the price of bitcoin is very easy to touch the $ 7000 range. I hope prices recover soon this year.

Yes, now we are in a bear market period, but we will not be here forever. Volatility nature is that we are going in from one period to another, and vice versa, it`s how some people make a profit, waiting for dips to buy and then selling on tops.
Nobody can say when will be the end of the bear market, to short now is a crazy decision, the price can stop falling and start rising in hours. I recommend holding your funds now, and if it drops more it will be a good buying opportunity. This drop can turn out to be temporary.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Good ICOs for Investment on: September 27, 2019, 08:47:10 AM
This is a very useful article about how to choose good ICO investments but it doesn't guaranteed that nothing will happen to the projects, remember that we are in the era of crypto where even very good projects end up dead this is why many investors choose IEO over ICO now

It`s useful, but for whom? First, you need to know how to read the whitepaper, and more important you need to know how to check everything they wrote in the whitepaper. For checking that you need to be a developer, programmer. Many of us can`t do that, we rely on community. When I read wp, I`m interested in the idea, if I like I will invest. Technicalities are not my stronger side, for that, I look at what others have to say about it.
Bottom line is that you can`t be 100% sure in your investment, we always risk. Sometimes things go wrong even when everything looks good.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best time to keep investing? market is crumbling again on: September 26, 2019, 08:54:01 PM
Like always, is it a good time to buy or short depends on your plans, are you a short or long term investor. For long term investing it`s a good time to enter in some investments and if you are a short term investor, than it would be good to wait a bit longer, I think this is not the end of the drop.
The market is crumbling again, and this is not the last time we see that. It will rise again, it will drop again, try to catch the waves and make a profit, or just hang in and wait for the big wave, it`s always up to you.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: September 26, 2019, 05:24:21 PM
People choose to play the lottery for one reason, it`s cheap and with that little amount you can win huge money. What is a dollar? Even in the undeveloped country most of the people can afford to throw away dollar or two weekly and to have some chances to win huge money.
I don`t play the lottery, maybe in my life, I hade just a few tickets, and of course, I didn`t win anything. I like other gambling games much more, the ones where I`m an active player, where I think about strategies and bets.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: September 25, 2019, 11:41:03 AM
You can join airdrops and bounties with various campaigns to get altcoin for free. let alone join the bounty campaign at this bitcointalk forum, there are a lot of very profitable projects. You can also join various campaigns in the bitcointalk forums, both content campaigns, social media campaigns, telegram campaigns and signature campaigns to get coins.
I am increasingly beginning to doubt that at least one of these types of income is profitable. Now people get a penny that they can’t even sell. only signature campaigns and youtube is now profitable. maybe translation also

Social media bounties can be profitable, but you need to build your followers, it`s not an easy task, but if you can be very active, to post good things about crypto you can do it. It`s always hard to make first bucks, even harder to find some profitable investment that will bring you passive income.
Invest in BTC2, stake it and get some BTC2 from that, or Veil. I`m talking about these two projects for a while, they are good cause you can stake any amount and get some passive income from that. IoTeX voting is good too, you get IoTeX for voting, and from recently they have Vita, one of the first projects on IoTeX, if you have IoTeX you can claim Vita token every day.
492  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe is against Libra. Who else? on: September 25, 2019, 06:30:17 AM
Such a global stable coin must exist, but it should not be issued by a private campaign, because it will be a very big risk for global financial stability. Then, when something happens with this coin, the states, in order to prevent the development of the crisis, will be forced to support this private can, that is, to finance private business. Moreover, such a coin should not be controlled by such a social giant as Facebook. This is doubly dangerous.
It would be better if such a coin is issued by one or more states. Such a stable coin will appear vseravno, that's just the question of who will control it.

Bitcoin is a global coin, it`s not stable yet, but maybe one day it will be. Who will control it? Decentralization is the right word my friend, it will be controlled by everyone. It`s something worth to fight for, why would we surrender and give it all to one, centralized entity. Who will control it? Should we let some dictator do that? Some Trump? Some bank directors?
493  Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud? on: September 24, 2019, 08:19:26 PM
This is useful if employees are stealing. In my country, the chiefs themselves first steal. And they have all the arrangements with the law.

It's the same in my county, rich people are getting richer, usually the politicians of the ruling party and their families and close friends. I don't know what needs to happen for that to stop, cause it last like forever. Scheme is the same, just new names are on the paper, I think I will not vote anymore.
Frauds will never stop, at least I don't see the wns of them. Maybe with some new system we can have less frauds, but who can five any guarantees about that, we can just hope for the best.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How does a perfect Bounty Campaign looks like? on: September 24, 2019, 06:13:05 PM
Many campaigns looks good, nice site, nice bounty page, white paper, etc. But which campaign is better then others can be seen only with problems and how their team is dealing with them. For me perfect bounty have a good team behind, ready for every possible problems that can appear, and believe me, every project have some problems. How they deal with those problems will determinate their future.

496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best privacy coin? on: September 22, 2019, 07:13:27 AM
Bitcoin2, fast, zero protocol if you wish to make private, untraceable transactions. It`s decentralized, really low fees, and after all that it`s POS, you can stake any amount in your wallet and you will receive some BTC2 for that. This is a very potential coin, I`m staking for some time and trading with that coin on Crex24, they are listed there for now, but they are working hard to be listed on couple more exchanges.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has Altcoin Season Arrived? on: September 21, 2019, 08:36:18 AM
We cnnot say 100% that altcoin season started, only future will show, but indeed it's a good sign that ripple awakened. I personally think next altcoin season begins with ripple.

This is not the start of the altcoin season, we need to wait longer. When altcoin season start it will be on every news around the world, and that will be after BTC hits new ATH. When will that happen is hard to say, maybe next year, or in 2021, if we are lucky we will not have to wait longer than that.
I`m sure that next altcoin season will not start with ripple, it`s crazy to think that.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many gambling sites are you playing and do you use the same strategy on: September 19, 2019, 06:24:55 PM
I gamble on one site, and when I get bored, or something I change them. Currently, I`m gambling with TRX, earning div`s or at least trying to earn them along with making a profit with gambling itself.
About strategies, it`s difficult for me to say, I play very aggressive, it`s like martingale, but I constantly change odds and bets. I have my own strategies in my head for a specific game. Sometimes they work, sometimes not, it`s gambling.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of gamblers are rich or poor? on: September 19, 2019, 07:34:39 AM
I think most of the gamblers are in the middle class life, a lot of them have an ambition and trying to get rich in gambling, the rich people playing gambling for fast time not as source of income. That is only my  own view and opinion for those people playing  gambling. But of course we need to accept all gamblers are want to get win.

This is an old article that I've search in the internet now, and it says the large portion of gamblers are coming from the poorest segment of population.

https://www.politifact.com/florida/statements/2011/nov/18/john-stemberger/largest-numbers-gamblers-come-poor/

That's a sad truth, that's why there are state not approving gambling as a legal business as it could affect the poor and the vulnerable due to their wrong way of thinking about gambling, they tend to think that gambling gives easy money when in fact its the opposite.

That old article is only FUD, some politician is making points, probably he never placed a bet in his life. Rodel is right here, most of the gamblers comes from a middle class, ordinary people who have fun with occasional gambling sessions, maybe some sports bet, roulette or any other game, they spend couple dollars, have some fun and they walk away. I`m sure some people lose a lot of money with gambling, but be sure that some people make a lot of money with gambling.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding Altcoins can get you Rekt on: September 18, 2019, 01:01:09 PM
If you are not careful with the tokens and coins you decide to hold for long you might get rekt for real, its really very disappointing how altcoins are exiting scam and many of them are just pump and dump, these altcoins are everywhere and only very few of them will survive for a very long time, one must depend on research after research to find the hidden gems among the stones

Some of the altcoins are really exit scams. On a side pump and dump coins, someone is using them to make a profit, if you get in one of those better be ready to sell them with the first rise as fast as possible if you wish to have some money in the pocket.
There are too many altcoins these days. Most of them are very bad, so people should be really careful where they invest, and more important for how long they plan to hold them.
