1461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: April 08, 2018, 05:54:36 AM
I think you need to set two goals, first one is how much you want to spend, and the second one is when you gonna stop, how much you want to get. You win or you lose it doesn't matter just stop after your limit is reached.
In fact, before you even step into a casino or probably online gambling, you should not even start gambling with what you cannot afford to lose, and in most cases for casino, just go with the amount you really want to gamble with in your hands just to be on the safer side. Once you are done, then you are done, as long as you have nothing left, it would be easy for you to stop and call it a day.
You can stop and call it a day when you make 10% profit, like you have 100$ and after some time of playing you have 110$, you can stand up and walk away with 10% profit, but people are greedy and its easier to blame gambling and casino for losing then yourself. When do you know its time to stop can depends from how much control you have, for some people going to 0 is a stop sign, some people borrow money and continue to gambling with hopes for some big win and returning everything that is lost.
Setting goals in gambling is hard, first you never know what will happen, second games leads you to believe its your night, big win or lose can make your brain working like crazy and its hard to stand up if you won something big and you think its your night, we pursue some high goals that are hard to reach in gambling.
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Actions About Unvaluable Tokens On Your Wallet on: April 07, 2018, 12:11:44 AM
You don't have many choices, I think even the transaction fee would be higher than most of this worthless tokens. My advice is that you start using another wallet for bounty hunting and your real investments, and keep your first wallet with its tokens, check it once weekly or monthly to see if some of its tokens get a bit of value, then sell them immediately.
Thanks for your reply. I had never thought a second wallet. It sound a good idea. I am gonna try it
I have many coins too, not just from airdrops, some I bought and price dropped instead to grow like I hoped. Now I wait, and I think it's the beat thing we can do. Continue to use same wallet, cause there will be many other airdrops, you will participate in new bounties, use that wallet, make a new wallet for coins or tokens you plan to hold for long time, that's how you will have one special wallet that no one will know about, but that old one continue to use for everything, even if it gets compromised you will not lose anything.
I have couple wallets, that is normal in crypto world, one you use for all sort of things and not totally safe actions, other is where you keep valuable coins, that one you keep safe and you don't give that address to anyone.
1463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin survive? on: April 06, 2018, 11:02:35 AM
So much and turn around the "bad" news that hit bitcoin some last time. Will bitcoin survive such a situation?

Or bitcoin just being a 'mtgox' debris a second time?

I am personally still very confident if bitcoin can reach a reasonable price by the end of this year. Even more fantastic in the next year.

You have another opinion, please share your opinion about bitcoin for the end of this year. Will it survive?
I'm sure Bitcoin will survive either this year or the following years. Although there are a lot of bad news about Bitcoin if basically have many who trust Bitcoin, Bitcoin will definitely maintain its existence. And the price of Bitcoin by the end of this year and the following years will surely increase higher than last year's end.
Do you all think that bad news are something new in bitcoin world? Since beginning fud is surrounding bitcoin and all other altcoins. Will bitcoin survive is so many times asked question, since beginning people ask that like
someone can give answer on that. People work on bitcoin, many of us support idea of bitcoin but will it survive, will it stay number 1 always are questions for the future. Technology is advancing with high speed, something new and better can always appear, but in same time devs behind bitcoin can upgrade network, literally many things can happen, its on us to predict what have more chances to happen and to bet on that, risk with low chance possibilities sometimes, that is trading and gambling in one, you are predicting the future and bet on most possible outcome in your opinion.
1464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All in ETH now? on: April 06, 2018, 12:11:30 AM
ETH prices are down very low. Is this the right time to all in ETH?

You can all in to ETH, or buy other altcoins because the market is really cheap right now, you can get alot of profit in the future when the price recovers to normal. top 10 coins from coinmarketcap are good to buy except (ripple) since i dont like it personally.
Why do you exclude the ripple? Ripple is a coin that has potential in the future. I think your opinion should be corrected.

Why do people exclude all other coins, now its a discount for all the coins out there. In this thread people mostly agree with going all in eth, but going in just one coin all in is a bit crazy idea, except you know something that others don`t.
I think market will recover, not all of them will go up, questions are which one will rise, how much will they rise, and what time you expect to see that rise. Answer on this questions can worth millions, but many of us will make some predictions and invest in what we think it will be the best. Race is one, prices are still going down, to buy now or to wait more, how long to hold, many questions, little answers, I am trying to have more then just one investment.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best countries for an ICO on: April 05, 2018, 10:03:33 AM
In two years many things will be different, the best countries for raising icos are the countries without any laws about icos and cryptocurrencies, and it would be the best for all of us to stay like that. Icos are already regulated by their white paper, you know how much coins they will have, their plans, governments will try to stop ordinary people to be free to make icos to invest in them, governments will try to earn from us again, or take money from us. In same time companies that wish ti make ico will be stopped cause of the government regulations, they will need to pay again to some big corporation to do that for them. All in all fuck government regulations, I hope there will be at least couple free countries in all this planet.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why use cryptocurrency blockchains to gamble? on: April 04, 2018, 07:36:30 PM
Why is it beneficial to use a token to gamble, when it doesn't have high liquidity, and very violent. No one playing poker wants to take on speculation of the sites coin while playing in a tournament.

I understand playing poker or gambling using bitcoin. But why are people playing poker using (ex: Pokercoin )

What makes blockchains better? Provably fair, guaranteed payouts ( which already happen on any major site )

These blockchain sites look worse as well.

I think that you mean `CoinPoker, they had ico month ago, great promotion before that ico with many free roll tournaments where you could earn some CHP. Do you understand that online gambling is something new for this world and it will be much more popular in the future. Poker is a great game, I love to play it and I do, often. I play at 888 for dollars but I prefer to play for bitcoins. Now we come why so many different sites, well they are fighting for their place in the world, they need to be different and to offer something new, and that is a good thing cause all of them are have problems with bots, with provably fair, with cheaters, and each site is deal with that in some way. New sites offers good promotions in the beginning to attract players, and if they are good players will stay.
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO. Buy or not? on: April 04, 2018, 04:42:18 PM
Last year neo was couple dollars, than from middle of the year until the end rise to 200$, now around 60$. I`m not an expert but in time of hype neo was one of the most mentioned coins here, some say that neo platform is better then eth platform, I don`t know how accurate is that but people hooked and demand was very high. I think when market start to rise, neo will be a part of that rise.
honestly speaking.. NEO is a very good buy now Smiley

Easy coin for flipping compared to ETH

if you want to hold its also very good Smiley

Now is too cheap!
Comparing with prices from just couple months ago almost all coins are very cheap. Neo, eth, btc, nem, ripple, all good coins are down and prices are low, will they go lower or this is great time for buying at bottom is something each of us needs to decide individually.
1468  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you want high price of bitcoin after all? on: April 03, 2018, 04:41:02 AM
Every trader wish bitcoin to have the highest possible value to gain their highest possible income. It is not being selfish but just being wise. Besides, whatever happens, the price shall not and never depend on us so why still bother to mind the reason why we are after the price is because that is exactly what we aim, to gain high income.
You didn't get it obviously. Its selfish to never be satisfied with bitcoin price and to always wish for higher price, even when price already raised a lot in short period of time. I think you didn't understand what is trader and what is investor, gaining high profit its ok but so you think its ok to wish double the money in just one day, and after you for your profit you wish more, like op said its 19.000$ but that isn't enough, people want 20.000$, but even that wasn't enough, how much profit is enough for some people?
If you can be satisfied with some profit you can earn from daily fluctuations, that is trading. Learn some terms in bitcoin before you make some statements.
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest to Ripple? on: April 02, 2018, 09:36:25 AM
Investing into Ripple make sense, because it's not so old, and that's why have possibility to grow. But don't forget not to put all eggs into one basket
One of the questions troubling me about ripple is how much it can grow? I think with their total coin cap they can`t grow much, they have big plans, they are working to implement their coin into many banks and money transfer services, they are going good by the news, but I think their grow can`t be so high, but it will grow. Its great investment cause of the one thing now its under a dollar and if marker recover ripple will go back to 3$ again. I earned after first rise, I sold at 3.2$ and I bought some ripple again at 1$, I thought they will be able to hold that price. They can`t price is now less half a dollar and I`m thinking to buy some more.
Don`t go all in ripple, but it`s good to have some just in case it goes to 5-10$, if you buy now at this price its still great profit.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: April 02, 2018, 08:02:40 AM
Why so many people have an urge to talk about gambling, to criticize and judge gamblers, and they don`t even gamble? Why people have an urge to mess in other people`s lives, is it cause you don`t have your own?
Who made all of you competent to tell other what to do, and what is better to do? When I saw that op got merits for opening this kind of topic I wanted to throw up.
You are just paid for that, and you don`t have anything else smart to say so you judge others, that is very nice. You people don`t have your own life, so you are messing in others people lives, and you have some extra earning from that, it must be like heaven for you people.
Sometimes I can`t believe what people wrote on this forum, and they are paid for that, I really can`t believe.

1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to turn tokens you earned from bounty to USD? on: April 01, 2018, 05:14:47 PM
Usually there is a waiting period after the end of the ico. Some icos can be accepted faster then others, but usually its couple weeks or more before you see any ico on any exchange. Now there is so many popular exchanges, but just few of them list icos before others. Waiting for some reputable exchange to accept new ico can be a good thing to do, when they accept it its a big announcement and usually that leads to price rise. Is it better to wait project to develop and take more money for your tokens, or to cash out right after first exchange accept your token is up to you, my opinion is that some tokens worth keeping.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: Culture on: April 01, 2018, 02:54:12 PM
Gambling has been a part of every culture even if you are residing from a different country. Different ways and strategy but same goal. Probably it is because people always want to earn money in I think every aspect, so even if it is only a small amount of money earned through gambling, they’d still go for it.
I like your thinking, people will always try to earn money in every aspect and any way. Gambling is attractive cause you can win a lot very fast, and its legal in most of the countries. Something fall on my mind, what if we try to compare gambling with drinking culture? Both have many negative impacts on individuals and society, but both are legal in most of the countries and many people abuse gambling or drinking. But there are even more people who can control their urge for one of them, and they enjoy in both of them, but they have control and they know how much they can gamble or drink without consequences.
Culture is something you have in yourself or don`t, you learn that. Everything we do shape us and our society, and when you sum up everything it`s up to you and how much you can control yourself.
1474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Bitcoin is pretty easy on: March 31, 2018, 12:31:35 AM
Hello,

I am a new investor in Bitcoin and I can tell that trading Bitcoin is so much easier that trading Forex. I double my wallet in 3 months with swing trading! I bought Bitcoins between 6000 / 7400 and sold them at 11.500. Last days I bought Bitcoins between 7300 and 8100 and I still have them.
The important thing is to believe that bitcoin will continue to go up, like me, so you can find the good entry points.

I post Bitcoin analyzes on my twitter channel so take a look, I already have some good results from my start. I post also my results of my profitable EA forex robot.

https://twitter.com/christopheduh1

Good luck!

Chris
of course trading is very easy we don't have to do much things but making predictions about the price and give buy/sell orders, but the problem is choosing time to set orders, if we don't have any informations or just base on lucks, then we are not a good trader, buying too soon or or selling to slow can make us loose huge profit with just a small action.
I can agree with statement that trading is easy to do, but to make good predictions and earn from that is not so easy. If making profit from trading is easy everyone would do that, but you reality is something totally different, some people earn while most of the people have loses. Trading is full time job, or it can be, you need to be active in crypto community, to know news before others, you need to act fast, in just couple minutes price can drop and you can lose profit, or make profit. Decisions you make in seconds counts in trading, if you think that is easy then you will probably make more mistakes then others who have more serious approach.
1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: March 30, 2018, 10:30:57 PM
Most of the time in gambling you are losing probably, i don't see any good  effects from gambling, except having fun when you are winning, with losing there are many bad effects like, you can get depressed by losing a lot of money, its easy to get addicted to gambling so you can make problems to your family by getting money from them, i had one friend doing this but he is okay now .
This is why most advises not to be addicted in gambling. Because it has good and bad effects indeed, once you cannot control in playing addiction is sometimes hard to control. Those effects above are true once we become addicted in playing gambling.
Because they are thinking that gambling can may be a source of income that's why they are still chasing money on it.
Gambling is not bad if you know how to control this, and don't let gambling controls you anytime just always put in your mind that gambling addiction is hard to control so while it is earlier much better to avoid that happen.
Gambling for me is an entertainment that brings me a thrill and excitement when I was playing and that relieved my stress after whole day work.
Most of the time in gambling is not losing its waiting for your good hand on poker, winning streaks in other games, bmyou wait bonuses if game has it. How will you deal with loses will make you a man from you, loses are part of life, not just gambling. By your comments I would say that you are not gamblers, you are just giving your opinion about something you didn't try, your look from a side but you didn't participate more then couple times, and you lost every time you tried.
Gambling is more then winning and losing, when you start to think about the game you will understand what am I talking about. You need to feel the game and try to beat the game with your brain, with moves you make.
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you having a great time? on: March 29, 2018, 09:57:20 PM
The bottom appears to be deeeep. 4 billion gone while I was typing this.
How that sounds, 4 billion dollars in just couple minutes. This is not the first time that market is sinking 10%, that is like some middle for all the coins, some went down more some less. That happened couple times this year, and I think that is happening since always just now when prices are higher 10% sounds much more then 2 years ago. Its all about that, how it sounds in your head, when you put it on paper and percents, statistic and charts you will see just normal fluctuations. Market is going down, but its still very high, even if bottom are prices from when I joined, it`s far away from this point, just chill.

1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: March 28, 2018, 07:30:08 PM
You know whats good about OPs advise to gamblers? His advise is applicable to traders. Seriously if you apply those in your trading strategy, you'll have better chances in gaining profit than losing in trading with the current market condition of trading Altcoins or Bitcoins.
Yeah this is right. Basically the point that OP have explained in a single sentence it means that "a well disciplined person could be a good gambler". I think the criteria to success is being disciplined. So, it fits to almost every profession except one thing that has been missing is the luck. In gambling luck plays a vital role, more than anything else. A good gambler must be a lucky one. Gambling and trading are somewhere a bit same in the line of crypto. The only thing I believe is that in gambling you have the choice of time to enter to a casino while in trading you have to wait for the right time not of your choice but a requirement of trading.
His advice is applicable with everything, not just with trading. A person that can control emotions, handle loses, without problems with community, well organized time will be good in many things. Such person gamble and maybe he is not a good gambler in terms of making profit, but he is enjoying in what he is doing and nobody suffer for his gambling. Same as it`s applicable to traders, it applicable for other good and bad things in our lives, behind all that is I think control, if you have good control over yourself you can be good in anything.
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market stabilized? on: March 27, 2018, 07:00:17 PM
Don't want to spread FUD or something but what if the market won't stabilize and what we are seeing now will continue and we won't see recovery for months?

FUD is when you say "market will never recover". Your words arw reasonable prediction for price movement in next few months, to be real it can last all this year and next one. But that is nothing strange, market is bigger for billions when you compare it with previous years. That is a huge growth and maybe market should be calm for some time before we see more money being pumped into cryptocurrencies. We can discuss what is stable market, I think we will never see completely stable market, its like something alive breathing all the time have its own ups and downs, that is cause people from all sides of the world are making some contribution.
1480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges? on: March 27, 2018, 03:28:06 PM
I trade on 4 exchanges, but not to arbitrate, but rather to diversify risks and not put deposits into a single exchange, that can be hacked. As a rule, a meaningful difference in the prices for one crypto currency can be found in exchanges which do not allow conversions to fiat, for example, the Bithumb exchange. The best way to do arbitrage is via special software, always taking into account the commission of various exchanges.
For the same reasons I'm registered on many different exchanges, but one more big reason for using multiple exchanges is that we can't find all the coins at one is exchange. I have many different coins and for buying some of the ones I wanted I had to register on some exchanges that support wanted coin.
Some of my funds I keep at exchanges, but when that amount is too big I make a wallet and withdraw funds there. Never hold too much on one exchange, golden rule that we need to follow.
