4921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the most popular cryptocurrencies for investors? on: February 11, 2020, 04:11:05 PM
The most popular asset is Bitcoin. Just look at his dominance in the market to answer this question.
At the same time, you need to understand that there are all kinds of investors. Mostly investors who want to make a profit in the long term invest in bitcoin.

However, many also focus on short-term periods. In this case, there is nothing better than the assets that go on the binance platform.

In case of investing in short term basis there will be no specific coin, just like you said binance platform or any trading site will do but in terms of long term I would highly suggest the big three (for me) which is Bitcoin, Etherum and Ripple. Those three coin are the best coin to invest when you want to consider it for a long term basis. I highly suggest that short term and long term investing will be perform if you really want to get the greatest kind of investing strategy.
4922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: February 11, 2020, 03:30:00 PM
No, crypto gambling is no different in casino gambling. You even have the luxury of time and convenience to drink or do anything you want at the comfort of your home while gambling. I see the same problem with computer addiction/online games addiction. I know a lot of friends, or even me when I was at my youth. I spend alot of times in front of conputer even for 16 hours just playing and smoking on my free time which really put me in a bad health condition.
And I think that gambling on a computer is a lot worse, for example, one of my friends can't control himself on betting because it's just digital currency. The pressure on betting is lowered, considering that you are not actually holding your money. Gambling is gambling, and you should take it seriously when gambling is making you trouble or when you gamble, it is causing you a problem.
4923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: February 11, 2020, 12:53:44 PM
The conception of a bank with respect to Bitcoin is usually very subjective, if we go to the benefits of Bitcoin with respect to banks there are many advantages, since no third party permission is needed, in addition, the fact that bitcoin is totally Decentralized says a lot because it does not depend on any regulation made in its development by any government.

The advantage of the bank over Bitcoin is that it is accepted, legally has jurisdiction in any country in the world, has a "backing" especially given by governments. In countries with crisis, bitcoin is a completely safe refuge, especially if it is high inflation, with respect to this, both banks and bitcoin can coexist.

We know the positive aspects of investing in bitcoin, but we should not forget about the negative side associated with its volatility. Therefore, each person must keep part of their funds in the Bank to reduce risks. And this will allow you to quickly resolve your problems in the event of an unexpected financial situation.
Yeah, both are important! There's no better on those two, actually if you are going to compare it. Bank can exist and fit into society without bitcoin; however, the bitcoin cannot fit to the society without bank considering that it will be a disaster and the transaction will all be peer to peer. Using bitcoin only in the community will bring no tax to the government and will cause a financial crisis or a disaster to the economy, But if bank and bitcoin are being used the economy will be better and faster. Those two have their own role, and those two things should co-exist and shouldn't be compared.
4924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Can Seriously Diminish The Quality Of Your Life. on: February 10, 2020, 04:29:02 PM
Damnn, this is an old thread and some newbie necrobump it but, this is still relevant and I enjoy reading it. Thankyou to the newbie that bump this, LOL

This one hit's me hard:

Quote
MYTH: You have to gamble every day to be a problem gambler.
FACT: A problem gambler may gamble frequently or infrequently. Gambling is a problem if it causes problems.

I am gambling maybe one day a week or one day a month, but every time that I lose, I feel miserable and thinking that I shouldn't bet considering that I am always losing. Every time I gamble, I will have a good start and can't control my greed to go big, and it is always ending up miserable. I am always feeling bad every time I lose. Gambling is a problem if you feel bad every time you play and still playing even though you know that you are going to lose.
4925  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need more opinions about bestchange red trusts. on: February 10, 2020, 03:37:43 PM
The issue has been resolve and as @best_change explanation it's just frozen account and the money has been claimed by the owner. So I really believe that my fellow DT should remove or at least make their feedback a neutral one, and the flag that has been created should be deleted or at least should be oppose by other DT.

For me it seems unfair that the one who accuse best_change and changehero fix the issue but, the reputation of best change here on our forum has not yet been fix and seems some DT forget about it or don't care about it anymore.

I just want to be transparent to anyone, the accusation has been made and it's been proven to everybody that they are not scammer, so simply removing negative feedback or at least making it a neutral one will be good and will give no harm to everyone.

This bot will help a lot of users when we are going to apply on a campaign haha, great work man!!

When I am usually checking my trustlist I will go to LoyceV ranking thread to see my stats on PC, but now it will be easier to view using my phone  Grin

My suggestion is you should add a ranking calculator there together with the merits needed for the next rank, with that. that will be the all in one bot that every forum member is going to need  Wink
4927  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin withdrawal fee is damn high in exchanges! on: February 10, 2020, 01:21:32 PM
Just some tips for you guys! Use XRP when withdrawing in any trading website, withdrawing using XRP is instant and the withdrawal fee is very slow I am using XRP in almost all of my transactions considering that it's speed and fee is outstanding. Honestly, like it or hate it bitcoin traction is not ideal, it's fee is too damn high and the speed is very slow, so use alternative cryptocurrency when you want a hassle-free transaction.
4928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fish arcade on: February 08, 2020, 03:43:02 PM
Yes this is 1 of many games, hopefully a site make a online game like this that we could deposit bitcoin and change in to tokens or something similar

What is the point of exchanging it to token after you deposit some, that would be time consuming.

When you try to read up on whats being written on op, it doesnt pertain about on making it online. These kind of arcade games is much more enjoyable if been played physically.
Making it online will surely lost the true essence of this arcade. It would be good to see if they would make crypto as an option but thinking off this possibility is really hard.

I agree to this one. I think OP means that the actual game would accept bitcoin or other cryptocurrency as payment method, and making it online will reduce the excitement that you would feel when you are playin in an actual arcade. Playing it online would feel like you're just playing an android application, which you could be easily get bored.

People like to play in an actual arcade because of the adrenaline you play when you outshine other people playing the same game.
I will disagree to this, what about dice? Do you prefer play the dice game physically and gamble through it? I think I will be one of the gamblers that is going to play that game considering that, the Fish arcade is also very popular here in the Philippines and I like strategy base gambling so I would love to try that even though it is going to be an online game  Smiley

And always remember nothing is boring when it involves money! it is going to be fun if you want to gamble and play so I think if any developer there that is going to make one of this, they will attract a lot of players  Smiley
4929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your gambling system? on: February 08, 2020, 12:12:08 PM
-Snip-
Yeah, I understand that the previous bet or your future bet don't have any relation with your current bet. The probability of winning will be 50/50 in every bet you are going to make. I am not a mathematical person but just imagine this situation haha LOL.

If you are going to bet with the race to 10 kind of gambling, and you will be given a 4 win head start. Considering that every bet will be a 50/50 chance of winning then your probability of winning will be higher considering that, in general aspect you just needed a 6wins and your opponent need 4wins to entirely win the game.

I am not sure if you will apply math logic to it if it's really applicable, but I am pretty sure that you have more chance of winning the game if you will be given a head start. Same with the gambling at the primedice or any dice sites. So for me it's effective and I will still going to use it, I am thinking it as a head start and surprisingly it is working  Wink
4930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Site's Investing (Is it worth it?) on: February 08, 2020, 11:53:12 AM
Hi! Have you ever tried to invest into a gambling site? and my question is, is it worth it? Considering that you will not be a player! but you will be the house (not actually the house but some part of the "house" LOL), Your portion of investment will be part of the gambling website's bankroll and if they win you also win! and if they lose you will also lose.

The downside of it is, if you are going to invest, 2% of your total investment will be the fee (2% on the most of the gambling website that I see). So are you going to try it? It is going to be okay if you consider long term investing but if your motive is for short term, I think not.

Is there any people here have tried it for a long term and does investing on it, is worth it?

If you are interested to know what gambling website's are offering Investment, you can check this website: https://dicesites.com/
They list all of the website's offering it and additional information for it.
Your website is only listing dice sites! Why it doesn't talk about other platforms like Rocketpot for example?  Undecided
By the way, why there is always this 2% fee  Huh Not 1,5%, not 2,5%, no... always 2%... Where does it come from please?  Huh
Have you really read the thread? or just spamming here for signature purposes? The website is not mine it's NLNico's website, and that's the only website that I see that talks about Gambling investment so I posted it here, hoping that I will get some opinion and knowledge at the same time with regards to the topic.

By the way, why there is always this 2% fee  Huh Not 1,5%, not 2,5%, no... always 2%... Where does it come from please?  Huh

It comes from my personal experience and as expected to someone like you, I know that you didn't read the whole thread so let me quote it for you

Quote
2% of your total investment will be the fee (2% on the most of the gambling website that I see)

That is what I see, I created this thread using my own experience and I am not here to discuss the whole gambling investment platform, instead I make this to get more idea about it. I would really appreciate if you will give the solution or information of what this thread is lacking of, but instead. You just complain about what's here and you sounded like a shitposter that don't know how to read. Damn

4931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your gambling system? on: February 07, 2020, 04:03:40 PM
Mine is (Martingale double bet after loss) I am doing it in dice site which is primedice, my strategy is simple. Since you can bet there even with no balance, I will bet "0" until I reach the four consecutive loses and after that I will going to start now the Martingale strategy. After I win I will reset the sequence again and wait until I reach four consecutive loses again with "0" bet.

To summarize here is the process:

  • Bet 0 satoshi
  • Wait until you reach 4 consecutive loses
  • Bet now using your prefer base bet
  • Double the best until you win
  • After you win, reset the bet to 0 and wait for four consecutive losses again

Patience is the key on using this strategy and it works on me! If you want to be extra cautious, you can wait until you reach five consecutive loses (it takes time to get through that stage), after that start your base bet. I hope this works for anyone that is going to try this.  Smiley
4932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Site's Investing (Is it worth it?) on: February 07, 2020, 06:51:18 AM
Bankroll investment on gambling site's are somewhat less risky compared to all other form of investment plans because we all knows that house has better chance of winning than players in long run so if you are going to keep your capital there for long you can make more money but I don't think it will suit for anyone who want to multiply their capital.

For who this investment will suits better: One who have lot of savings to survive their life and got lot of crypto sleeping in their wallet can got for this.
This is going to be good if you want to divide your asset and spread your investments, that is the basic's if you want to be a great investor! Divide your funds for short and long term investing, maybe some is going to be for trading and some is for holding. Personally as I've created this topic I want to invest and before that I want to hear first on those people that try it, so after that I can decide. And in additional having a decent amount of bitcoin in this kind of investment is big deal considering that, your profit will depends on how much is your going to invest.

The idea is nice actually. Lots of people are into gambling so the chances to win (earn and profit) is also good. IMO, most related to gambling even though it isnt cryptocureency always win by the house. I never tried this before and probably never will. I am not a full time gambler and just doing sometime to enjoy myself. Being on the house also is gonna be a tough decision for me. Maybe I will just be forever on the player side.
Yes, it is related to gambling so there will be still a risk, but I think the risk is lowered by this type of investment  Wink

Nice Trivia OP, but his badge isnt show anymore. Also he is not active anymore here.

Yeah, he is not active here anymore. But I am still seeing his badge maybe there's a bug, or somehow his badge is not showing on some part of the forum.
4933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 07, 2020, 06:07:18 AM
There's a hundred of gambling website's out there so basically what are you asking is easy to do yet, useless. Imagine if you close your account then your mind feels like to play, you can easily create a new account on every single gambling website here on the internet and continue playing. What you need to do is control yourself on gambling addiction. Little by little, lower the time that you are spending on gambling website's or simply gambling and as time passes by, I am sure that you are controlling yourself to stop on gambling when you want. It's not easy, but I think every individual can do it.

No mechanism or system can stop human for doing what they are addicted to, so I think you should focus on yourself development with regards to gambling, This closing account feature will not be useful (for me). I believe that the majority of the gamblers will agree with me.

4935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: February 07, 2020, 05:06:06 AM
The best thing that people can do if they win that plane is selling back to the government, but they cannot sell it as a high price because if they sell it too high, the government won't try to buy that plane.
Even me, if I will have it or won it, I would rather sell it, just imaging I just only bet a small amount like $25 then I will get that plane cost millions its been a 10000000x the amount I release, this would be a a hard to win thing since many people wanted it, but I will still try my luck, because I am very lucky in raffle and such lottery, there is not bad in just trying.

Even if he rent the plane, he needs to have rich people potential customer who will rent the plane, and he should have a busy day to travel from one country to another country. I am not sure that he can find that customer since not all rich people want to rent the plane because they prefer to buy the plane by themselves.
The best thing that people can do if they win that plane is selling back to the government, but they cannot sell it as a high price because if they sell it too high, the government won't try to buy that plane. They only have 2 years to find the potential buyer to sell that plane, but if they cannot find the buyer, then they need to think about the fee of the plane.
Yes , there will be a huge amount of earning as well when you will make that plane for rent , I think it is more good to do that, it could be a long term investment, will consider this one as well , when I won that plane.
I think you can sell it for a high price even though some people/ the government itself will offer that is almost very low compare to the plane itself. The plane cost is 130M$ I think Selling it for 10M-50M is not a bad price considering that you just win it for a 25$. Personally, If someone offer me 10M for that plane I will sell it right away as long all the tax is paid and I will get an exact 10M$, like it or hate it, it's a jackpot and it's a freaking Million Dollars, so yeah! it's not bad and I think I will participate in this kind of raffle or somehow lottery  Grin

I just have some question in my mind, why does their country want to sell/raffle their presidential plane? If they are going to replace it then, good for them! But if not, that would be a huge loss for them, every country should have a presidential plane, and it's one of the needs of every president.
4936  Other / Archival / Re: Ever played at any of these casinos? on: February 07, 2020, 02:24:40 AM
i am mostly playing in Bistler,CryptoGames,FortuneJack,777coins,Bitvest and Windice for my gambling activities.

but what took my attention is the 1xbit in your list?why it seems to be on top?haven't you make a deep research first before putting the sites on that lists?
it seems that 1xbit has many scam issues and for you to make a good set of sites there must be legitimacy and not just random choices.
Maybe posting this thread for advertising? LOL, there's many top casino's listed there but the 1xbit is at the top it seems fishy haha. anyway that it his personal choice so there's nothing wrong with that (for me).

Back to the topic, I see you listed there Cloudbet, I'm surprised that I am playing with a lot of online casino's, but only cloudbet showed on my personal list. I mostly play there and playing at their live casino, I like the Casino Hold'em, and their base bet is pretty low, so I am playing there. I remember that before I joined here at bitcointalk that is the first gambling website that I played before and I pretty enjoy playing there no issue at all Cloudbet is so transparent to their customer. The only thing that I don't like there is they are only supporting 2 coins which is BTC and BCH. I hope in the future they will support other coins so that in case that I spent all of balance it will be easy to deposit  Grin

4938  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries with banks to buy and sell cryptocurrencies on: February 05, 2020, 04:44:42 PM
Here in the Philippines, the bitcoin is doing great here! We have a local bitcoin exchange that almost covers all of the needs of every user. You can buy prepaid load, pay bills, transfer to the bank, and many more. We are using it here, and our government approves it. Buying and selling of bitcoin at our local exchange which is coins.ph is also effortless! You can even buy bitcoin here using 7/11. Transferring to a bank is instant, and I think it's almost supported all of the banks here in the Philippines.

It's not a bank supporting crypto, but this local exchange of us is excellent, and I think it is giving all of its user needs.
4939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can more ATM's increase adoption for Bitcoin? on: February 05, 2020, 04:30:22 PM
The location of bitcoin atm here in my country is near our home. Until now, I still don't find any reasons to buy it. I'm already having a great experience on making transactions on the internet and direct withdraw it on my personal bank using my phone. Bitcoin ATM is good idea but not essential anymore for users but I see a little good effect of it on the community, people will see that Bitcoin is really legit due to existing ATM of Bitcoin.
If awareness it will be a yes, it will affect somehow the people that is going to see that ATM on what is Bitcoin, and why does it have an ATM. But generally, I think just a small number of users will test or use that bitcoin ATM. We go to internet to avoid hassle kind of action instead, we are using online transactions so that the transaction will be easier and faster. Just like what you said, It's easier to buy bitcoin or sell bitcoin using your bank account or even paypal.

Personally, I will not also use that ATM, considering that I prefer my money going to my bank and just using it, when I need it.
4940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: February 05, 2020, 03:51:05 PM
It's just simple, outcome is the only thing that matters! even in gambling or trading or any kind of this winning situation. Process is shit, nobody will care about the process, that only thing people see and, the only thing that you will experience is outcome. Process is nothing if you will just lose on the end, "I'm so close on winning, I just make one bad move!, I almost win!" Those almost shits are nothing, the only thing that is important is the outcome, if you lose you are loser, if you win you are a winner, easy as that. Outcome is the only thing that is important.
