501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What resources do you have for members who may be dealing with addiction? on: August 17, 2023, 09:26:59 PM
My question to everyone here is that if a member is hooked to this addiction, is their any resources to help that member. If not then what exactly is this community offering? I believe
if such a resources is available it should be on the pinned message. The next thing would be to always update it regularly, as things change quickly in gambling.

As addiction is a serious issue, if anyone here has been able to overcome it? Why not share how to overcome with such an addiction. As per my understanding all of these addiction have the same initial therapy. Do you agree with me? Cool
This is a forum and for discussion but there are lot of resources out there on the web that these gambling addicts can utilize to. I think I'm here, it's more like a word of encouragement to be given to these gambling addicts, as per the resources it's also evident that there has been numerous share in it here. I think calling some professional is the best one and I think countries have at least one that is for free afaik.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you will do? on: August 17, 2023, 08:57:20 PM
I think it's really best to step out on gambling for a while and clear your mind on it. If you really are into gambling or even just to past the time, losing is a boredom thing and a little pause in it will make you clear your mind. I think quitting will be on your mind but still you'll seek it once again for sure.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Shiba Inu still worth it? on: August 17, 2023, 09:47:59 AM
It's still worth it but I think the FUD will have to continue considering the Shibarium launch didn't end well for them. There has been ETH and BONE tokens stuck on the bridge contract. Well, it's not good now for SHIB but I think their layer-2 will here to stay and maybe it's the right time to DCA on SHIB right now.
504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go above $30,000? on: August 16, 2023, 09:59:05 PM
Not that fast I guess. We will see Bitcoin above $30k when the market allows it, right now we're probably in the boring state when it's just bouncing around the box of support and resistance at 28k-30k. I think the bullish turn is when BlackRock will really approved their BTC ETF proposal. I'm happy to accumulate while Bitcoin is doing like this.
505  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is there a site where you can withdraw without deposit? on: August 16, 2023, 09:38:22 PM
Are there sites where you can actually withdraw coins? I mean gambling sites. It doesn't have to be a lot of money, but I used to have the impression that there were more sites like this and it was much easier to withdraw free money. I know there is freebitcoin that gives you free btc every hour, duckdice is also a faucet - do you know any other sites you can recommend?
I really hot confused on your thread title considering you haven't made any deposits and yet you're withdrawing a token. I say, what? Well, it's a faucet so that's understandable now, thanks for clarifying it. I guess faucet nowadays is deem to be worthless and it may take a year just to get a buck, I think you should stick with freebitcoin.in they're the legitimate of all.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rumors spread that SBF is tied to the $BALD rugpull on: August 16, 2023, 09:14:41 PM
Anyone got in $BALD? I hope not. On-chain data (https://twitter.com/redactedp4mp/status/1686095057143881729) suggest interactions between the meme coin BALD’s deployer contract and one of the wallets tagged by Nansen as belonging to Alameda Research - the trading company founded and controlled by Sam. The data was cited by several blockchain sleuths on X (Twitter) and later validated by CoinDesk.

I got in $BALD and I regret it. It was a degen play and only invested what I could afford to lose. Nevertheless a loss is a loss. Oh well. Moving onto the next shitcoin...
Wow, so a prisoner could still scam while being in prison? This is too much and for sure an irritating scenario considering he's in prison and yet can still rug another token. I think the base network will here to stay but for sure there will be rug pull that will going around so it's best to keep always vigilant.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 16, 2023, 03:52:45 PM
By the way, Philippines has not yet revealed their final 12,

SBP to reveal Gilas Pilipinas Final 12 on August 23
I've seen the news that 2 players are being debated on who will play for the Philippines team. I am not sure though if it's just fake news or not. Abando and Ravena. Or both are playing? Sorry, I am not updated with their roster.

That's not fake news; it's just that one of the famous sports announcers chose Ravena over Abando to be part of the final 12 because he believes that Ravena has more experience compared to Abando. However, the crowd reacted, as they believe Abando deserves it more than Ravena. So, it's quite intriguing to see who will make it to the final 12.

I read that opinion too from “the dean”. He is thinking Kiefer Ravena is much better that Abando since Ravena has a leadership skills and has more experience. Abando is really good and gives 101% of his best effort on every game even if his play time on Korea is very limited on some of their game. Kiefer on the other hand is really a good point guard yet he receives a lot of criticism since Abando performs well on KBL while Kiefer is just meh.

Without any bias opinions, I will choose Kiefer if Thompson can’t play since Kiefer is a good point guard but since Thompson is already fit to play, I think Kiefer role will be useless since Thompson will get most of the play time due to conflict of role while Abando has flexible which will be useful that Ravena on this case.

This no brainer decision that Gilas needs a player that put 100% on his game which we already witness on Abando games.
Well, it's not yet selected and there's still lot of time left for the coaches to decide and I think that's not an easy job for the coach. The thing with these critics which I say the most especially on social media, they think they're more capable of that decision. Over the two I think if Jordan Heading was just eligible to play, I'd choose Heading since this is a legit shooter.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free NFTs real or fake? on: August 15, 2023, 09:47:33 PM
There's nothing as free and we know that, you'll have to deal with fees before you get them and if you're on a network that has high gas fee that would be frustrating. This one is likely just a scam or will drain your wallet, I'd prefer to not interact on their dapps. This kind of trick has been going around and on Base network you'll see this as well so it's better to be always vigilant.
509  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Gandang kaganapan ukol sa usaping crypto sa bansa natin on: August 15, 2023, 09:21:34 PM
I'd still prefer taking a computer science(CS) course para mas wide ung scope.
I think meron namang mga crash course about blockchain na pwedeng mong i-take later on kung gusto mo talagang matuto rito.
510  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 15, 2023, 03:37:39 PM
but the question is can i use martingale/anti strategies there?
You could try even the weirdest strategy you can think of as long as you have the balance to do so. I don't think Roobet will limit you on that or if it's illegal you better not do considering it will just risk your own account and would really be frustrating if you have some money there.

did you compile it now by yourself or found it somewhere?
just curious
Yeah, this is quite already a lucrative art contest in this forum, the biggest and most active contest if I'm not mistaken. No, I don't have a compilation on it, I just use the search feature and set the right parameters for searching like "Search for: Roobet art contest" and "by user: Hhampuz" and checking for the topic subjects only, and voila you'll have most of it. It's quite a handy feature here in the forum tbh.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Base Launched! How to make profits on Base? on: August 12, 2023, 05:14:20 PM
Already at $200M TVL and wouldn't be surprised if by end of the month it will be at $1B. It's not impossible considering how well-positioned Coinbase in this industry and how they play a major role to market in USA. I'm apeing on the Defi projects and no I wouldn't risk it on the memecoins, there will be more than that when Base get bigger and bigger.

Who's anticipating the BASE token airdrop? Well, they'll deny it of course but we can't deny the fact that Coinbase might do that and that will be an additional earnings for those who will be early in the network.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 12, 2023, 04:04:06 PM
p.s
By the way, I just now noticed that these legendary guys got their coveted HOF jackets today. Time flies so fast...

Miss those days when these are the guys we see especially on the Finals, now they are HOF, I'd say LeBron will be the next that will get this orange jacket.

When Pops is discussed one coach that will pop out my mind is Steve Kerr. His coaching style is a combined play of Phil Jackson and Pops. That is why it's so good that he made 4 runs as a champion.

But I do believe it's not the end yet for Pops. With Wemby on their roster he might be more excited to build the young man to a superstar and become a part of him as he grows.
Steve Kerr has good IQ on the court, with his experience on championships along with great teammates plus the advice he got from Pops I guess he got it all. Good thing USA Basketball has entrusted him that role. Well, he got Wemby to be coached even for just a year that would mean something for the kid tbh, this one is the future face of the NBA and molding him is likely the joy of Pops.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC Appeal may take away XRP recent gains. Here is why on: August 12, 2023, 02:38:01 PM
They should have been very keen to XRP and they should have done that part when they take that lawsuit. It would be a laughable matter if they appeal when partially they are wrong on what they've ruled out to them. I think if they keep going like this, it will just only make XRP Hain some traction to some. What a nice publicity by the SEC.
515  Economy / Reputation / Re: 10 Years on: August 12, 2023, 01:11:31 PM
I registered in this forum ten years ago. I've found out about Bitcoin and this forum in early 2013 but didn't need to register back then. I signed up on 26th July 2013 and I'm here for a decade. I never imagined I'd be here this long. This forum has been an important part of my life, just like Bitcoin.

Glad I decided to sign-up here 10 years ago. Here I met very good people from all nationalities, made good friends and had job opportunities. Even though sometimes I took a break from writing to the forum due to dramas and tiredness, I never stopped moderating the forum. I tried my best to make the forum work as intended.

I hope to be here longer. I think I'll stay here until Theymos decides to close the forum. I would like to see at least new forum software. Tongue
I think I can make that as well, I'm already half of it and will be 6 years by October, been driven by hype by the 2017 bull market and those bounties to start with but not regret to sign up here as well. Thanks for your service as well for the forum, your work means something, though I rarely report these days. Yeah, that epochtalk should be here when I hit that 10 years anniversary.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This is not Practical on: August 12, 2023, 08:06:47 AM
I have heard the advice that you should only use money you can afford to lose for gambling. I say that this is more theoretical than practical. Literally no one has money that they can afford to lose. I feel that money for gambling is a matter of opportunity cost. You either use the money for gambling or use it to meet a need. If using money one can afford to lose were practical there will be no need for articles on having a gambling budget or bank roll management. Hey gamblers my question is to you now is, the money you currently plan to use for gambling is it money that you can afford to lose?
I think it was quite the norm when you're gambling, it's not that it wasn't practical in a sense that you'll just prepared to lose it all but you know that it isn't certain. Well, it's 50-50 but as a gambler I think preparing for the worst rather than the best will always be understandable.
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: August 11, 2023, 09:42:56 PM
Dana is also behind the hype of this as he had been setting up the two yet he can't give a final date of when the battle will be.
But in an interview no one is ducking anyone and he got a point when he says the two are not professional fights for a living.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boRl-jOJ9IM&t=362s

I still think this is not happening because of Dana's response. If he had been talking to both of these billionaires and still are unsure of the dates then its the billionaires is the one playing Dana.
Not gonna happen or not it will really be the talk of the town and likely Elon Musk is just teasing and he has no time on it. It's still Dana's control if they can't make the two fight besides we know how busy these two are and we kinda have to understand that. I really want to see them crushing each other, it will really be entertaining to watch.
519  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any methods to do it? on: August 11, 2023, 09:26:39 PM
I am in crypto for a few years and i have good knowledge of the crypto markets and their behavior. For the past few years, I am mostly invested in some top crypto project and held it till I get decent profits. You can say i am a holder. Now i want to try something different. I want to try day trading methods to generate a daily income from the spot market.

Is that even possible to earn 50$-100$ every day with spot trading? If yes then what methods you are using and how do you manage your risk?
Day trading as a word of tounge is just too good to hear but it's not that easy and it may take your peace. It will require lot of your time but earning that amount is really possible or even more than that. Methods will be different from individuals to individuals so you need to find yours as well.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering - share your opinion on: August 11, 2023, 01:00:13 PM
I would prefer to bet on 1.5x-2x when I want to boost my wager statistic, because I think it is better than using 1.0102x
Although the final result will always depend on our luck but based on my experiences is that using 1.5x-2x gave me a better result than 1.0102x
I believe that if the casino is legit and the games are provably fair, then the math can't be wrong. The lower the multiplier, the less chance of a losing bet, ultimately leading to the highest wagering amount in the long run. However, since these are still games of chance, it is understandable that everyone's experience will be different.
As a noob and want to increase my wager as per the requirements on a bonus round as I can remember it, I always use the minimum bet always so I could increase it. It was really too risky considering your bet could be gone if you lose a bit and I often use it on dice, though you have few risk of hitting lower than that multiplier ut when you hit it, it's like you're world has turned upside down. It has a devastating effect tbh.
Trying out to catch up that wagering requirement and making use of the lowest base bet then it would really be that less risky comparing on setting out on higher risk or odds on which it is really that possible but something that wont really be able for you to reach the finish line or would be able to hit the threshold and this is why some would really be deciding on going with the slow pace and sticking with base bets which it would really be that a common approach. No matter which angle we are really that looking then it would really be just that normal that wagering requirements would really be that something in default whether on deposit or bonuses then it would really be normal that they would be setting out those limits or wagering.

If it was really that easy for us to hit up those wagering requirement then it would really be just that too easy to get out with the platform and we know that its not something that would be doing good with the business.
It is really just that they would normally be doing things that would really be that on their advantage.
I wonder if this scheme was ikely profit more for the casinos especially when there's some sort of competition going around? I mean they are asking for that wagering requirement but on the other way around they are making money if it's gonna hit especially for those lowest base, well, they always win though they're the house. I guess not for us but for those whales out there, it's easy for them.
