501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 700 usd to invest on: August 02, 2018, 01:00:54 PM
i am a newbie .. please show me the investment. I have 700 usd

Which coins have you researched so far? people can give you better advice if you list what you're interested in. Regardless of what you choose, I would suggest that you invest them in small parts rather than going all in at once. If market dips you can get a better deal, if it doesn't you can invest in the one that dips.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think there should be a Crypto Bank? on: August 01, 2018, 01:19:30 PM
What do you think about crypto bank which hold all the reserves and give insurance of your crypto assets?

There are many projects who are working in something similar but it will take a long time before they're anywhere close to real banks. It requires huge investment and people who will put their crypto in there. I like the idea of giving insurance in your crypto assets but as someone has mentioned, whole point of crypto is peer to peer transactions which doesn't require any middle man but I suppose some people may find crypto bank useful.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: national cryptocurrency: how far are we from seeing a country mainly rely on one on: July 31, 2018, 04:11:32 PM
Some countries are already considering it because hyperinflation is killing them. How long can you act like it's all fine and reset the currency by changing its name or cut a couple zeros. Last year your loaf of bread costed 1000, now it will cost you 10, because that's how we roll, and in 2 years it will al be back to 1000 again Cheesy
People are already preferring to trade phone cards instead of their national currencies, it won't take long before they learn how to use BTC.

lol. that is an accurate statement. I'm seeing a lot of movement from many countries whose economy is ready to jump off the cliff. It won't be too long before we start seeing a ripple effect and everyone starts choosing crypto
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ADA at $10 till Dec on: July 31, 2018, 04:04:16 PM
A friend of mine has told me that ADA has the potential to reach $10 till Dec 2018.

Idk if he's right or not, but what do you think? Is it worthy investment or not? will it reach $10 in Dec?

Did he explain his rational behind his statement? $10 sounds a bit too crazy at this moment but nothing is impossible so he may be right, although I would like to see his reasoning behind it.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin in August? on: July 31, 2018, 03:52:36 PM
Brr. There we go again. Just checked back today after retiring early yesterday on price, ad seems like the crypto market just lost 3% or so quite suddenly. ETH now trading at $433, ouch. Bitcoin really doing its very best to stay above the water at 8000. And guess what, there's no bad news, not on any of the sites I'm checking. Just further proof that no one knows what's going on. The alts are really withering in this heat.

Yeah, it is quite surprising to see that there hasn't been any bad news as of late. If you checked few months ago there was nothing but bad news from so many news sites. May be it's a good sign and we'll see above $10k in august.
506  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin at 25000 possible? on: July 27, 2018, 05:31:14 AM
Bitcoin is currently trading at 6k but there has been a  consistent prediction that before the year ends it will be up to 25,000. I want to know how many of you share in that optimism because at present, it's all bearish and nothing more.

those predictions solely relies on past year market. However, price can go much higher than $25k according to some predictors. I'm optimistic that it won't disappoint anyone given everything goes as it is and there are no extreme fud by opposition.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy Bitcoin with alts! on: July 26, 2018, 12:10:50 PM
It seems many people are speculating the rise of BTC and therefore are transfering value from alts to BTC. But if you want BTC, buy it with FIAT! Fresh new funds are needed on the market! You are dumping alts making prices dump hard and maybe are speculating you will be able to buy more of the alts later on, but what idiot will selll it to you at that dumped price?? So if you want BTC, buy it with FIAT or at least don't expect to buy back more of the alts for cheap!

I understand your logic but not something most people are willing to do. It requires patience since transferring FIAT takes a bit whereas if you convert your alt to bitcoin, you save the time and fees.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is our money in crypto? on: July 26, 2018, 12:05:38 PM
Money is not at all safe in cryptocurrency, There are so many hackers around here who's only business is hack a wallet of bounty hunters to get money without doing anything.

offcourse but market can plummet and you will lose all your money that way. I don't think your money is safe anywhere except investment in something concrete like real estate but that's the risk you have to take and be okay with when you're putting your money in any digital investment including stocks, bitcoin, forex etc.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never join AirDrop programs any more on: July 25, 2018, 12:00:53 PM
I have already joined hundreds of airdrops but I got nothing until now. I will never join AirDrop programs any more.
- Each airdrop rewards only some token, that its value from $5 to $20 (calculated by the ICO price)
- Most of the token are dead now (just spammed projects or shit coins)
- Some tokens have been listed on Coinmarketcap now but the token price is terrible low. The value even equal to the transaction fee if I send the tokens to exchanges.

Airdrop nowadays needs more effort like sending referrals in order to gain more airdrop tokens which is what I hate. Why I hate? Because only airdrop channels will rise to that kind of method. Also those ICO price indicated will only happen when the ICO reached hardcap or when its demand is already there. This must be a lesson to you. You must try to join an airdrop with no ICO so that they won't promised a specific price so you won't also expect. Most airdrops with no ICO BUT a good team could be worth it and a higher chance to earn more rather than just an airdrop that requires so much effort to earn. It is your choice if you will still continue participating those.

I don't have any interest in joining any  airdrops even before I was a beginner here in crypto, even if airdrop is free because many people are using airdrops to scam other people.

that's completely true. Airdrop was a big thing when it first came out and there are people on here who've made good amount of money from it but for me it was never something I liked due to spam and most of them forced you to share personal details which doesn't look very anon but it has died down overtime and you would be lucky to come across any good one which makes it to the exchange.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not expect something from ICOs till btc to FLY on: July 25, 2018, 11:56:11 AM
True. All of the ICOs that are out now are undervalued because bitcoin is down which affects the entire market so if you are expecting ICOs to do well while the price of bitcoin is down then you are just putting yourself up to be disappointed. The best way would be to buy the coins from the projects that you are certain will last for a while and then hold the coins for the price of bitcoin to go up.

Yes, but this is the right time to invest in my opinion. BTC is booming, crypto will soon follow its footsteps. Regardless of your bad timing, you should do always research and nit pick what you invest in. not all of them do good and not all of them do bad. It's not as simple as putting everything in one bucket and label it as ICO.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will bank and crypto industry unite or be linked? on: July 24, 2018, 12:24:03 PM
Well i dont think unite is the best word to use, compromise would be appropriate. I think banks and crypto will compromise in the future. Regulations from different countries has been in the making and this would really open doors to crypto and might affect certain bank policies. So in order to coexist i think these two entities should come up with a very good compromise in order to be successful.

Yes, there are certain alts that are already controlled by bank for the most part but I don't think there would be any unification in the future as that would mean banks would have to give up their control. control is all the have they wouldn't give it up. Compromise is a better term, they're already realizing what they're missing out by not being friendly with crypto world.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coin are bleeding badly on: July 24, 2018, 12:19:55 PM
Recently since Bitcoin are up trends but all most all alt coin are bleeding badly. Really it wasn't expected Angry. On previous record we can see if Bitcoin bump tham alt was bump more. I don't know the exact reason for that. I guess alt are waiting for Bitcoin ETF ( Excahnge Traded Fund) for SEC approval. We expect midle of next month we can see the result. Till that alt coin holder should be pataine. At least Bitcoin on bulls run that is good sign for alt holder. Once a time alt will bump too.

When bitcoin goes up, altcoin goes down for few days and then they go up. It's not a new thing and most likely expected outcome after a long bull run. Exact reason is money moving from altcoins to bitcoin in some stance but that's no the only reason. It'll change though.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Bull is Coming! on: July 23, 2018, 01:21:23 PM
McAfee tweets that bull is really close now and bitcoin will hit $25k at the end of the year. I dont trust him that much but he got a point, bull is near.

his tweets are generally exaggerated but this time he is correct. From my end I'm seeing a lot of bitcoin friendly news including the one where samsng has started accepting bitcoin in some store. I think corporations/bigly investors are realizing the power of bitcoin at this point and they know they'll only lose money by staying away from it.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Bull is Coming! on: July 20, 2018, 06:03:36 AM
Strangely the market is horrible, despite a lot of very good news since January.
Either that means nothing can energize it OR that when things start it will be huge!

It's slowly getting energized and preparing itself for another bull run. I think this is going to be huge too. It had been bearish for a while now so it's good to see it finally showing some recovery.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This correction on Altcoins is just EPIC! on: July 20, 2018, 05:56:28 AM
Remember the last time bitcoin pumped. It took few days/weeks for alts to catch up. I see same thing is happening now.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eastern Europe: Regulation Postponed, Tax Abandoned, Banks Enlightened on: July 20, 2018, 05:43:54 AM
https://news.bitcoin.com/eastern-europe-regulation-postponed-tax-abandoned-banks-enlightened/

This is the best thing that a government should do with regards to regulating crypto. They should take some time to study how the technology works for them to regulate it properly without any bias and possible abuse to companies or individuals that are into cryptos.

I think problem lies in translating crypto language to your average joe who has never worked with crypto in his entire life. Most people are clueless how crypto works so I can understand why regulating it would be pain in the neck for the government as it requires educating people who are not familiar with crypto and it will take time.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO Could Surpass Bitcoin By The Year 2019 on: July 19, 2018, 06:21:26 AM
the circulation of neo is 65000000 . it is now priced at 40 dollars . the circulation of bitcoin is 17150237 . the price of bitcoin is 6364 dollars now . the gap is too big . it is undeniable that neo is a very promising coin .

Yes, gap is too big plus you have to look at adoptions too. Neo is not as popular as btc or even eth at this point. It may reach btc current price if btc reaches 100x its current value but I don't think it would ever surpass btc.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Gas Prices Return to Normal, After Intentional Network Overload on: July 19, 2018, 06:14:53 AM
I suppose we all can take a sigh of relief. It was taking a long time to do transactions few days ago but this isn't the first time I'm hearing about congestion on eth network. hopefully they'll do something about it.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum? Trade or Invest? Buy of Sell, What The Hell? on: July 18, 2018, 12:39:49 PM
A brand new Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency podcast that is focused on trading and investing. Hosts interview guests and discuss the latest news in the markets. With experienced traders including an ex-JP Morgan hedge fund manager to talk Bitcoin and big picture moves. Are the latest moves all manipulation or just demand driven? Is the latest SEC statement on Ethereum positive for the markets? When will Bitcoin see all-time highs again? Do Bitcoin Futures manipulate the market? Bitcoin ETFs maybe?

Up until early 2016, there was only one choice for holding cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin. From there, the marketplace has exploded. In this episode, they discuss constructing your portfolio and how to gather the proper information to make informed investments and trades.

Latest episode on SoundCloud - https://soundcloud.com/buy-or-sell-what-the-hell/bitcoin-is-king-constructing-a-balanced-portfolio-27

Is there some interest in a solely trading and investing crypto podcast? No bullshit, just talking markets.

Give it a shot and let me know what you guys think!

will give it a shot later but as everyone has said, bitcoin is the king of the crypto world and that's what you should stick with in long term. Although, I'm not sure about the value and those $1 mill/bitcoin prediction that some people have made. Bitcoin future is also gaining a lot of traction from the news I'm reading. I'm sure there will be a lot of traders who'll be interested in this but as I said bitcoin is the king of this world and day traders usually stick with their own judgement but some may be interested.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cardano (ADA) overvalued or undervalued? on: July 18, 2018, 12:28:18 PM
I think it's undervalued right now but it's still much higher than it's all time low and still lower than its all time high. As market is showing some improvement it should start showing improvement as well. Whether it'll reach its ATH again this year, its hard to say.
