Is their a way to see the entire block history for Slush? Or is there a way to see a months worth? Just looking at the current stat page, we seem to have a long block every 12th block, for the past 3 long blocks. Is that a coincidence? Just wondering.
Luck, or lack of?

I submitted 18 shares to slush's pool and I still have 0 BTC. Why?
Out of curiosity what was that time period on those 18 shares?

.. Sorry total Newbie here.. not to mining.. but to this forum... I went to coining solutions.. and it look like that have S3's... is this a reputable place to rover from. Do they actually have the S3's in hand to ship?
They are legit. I would contact them or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=101143 directly to see if they actually have any left on hand or if they have all been pre-sold.

for me the beep occurs once every three hours right when the network switches to a new block. I increased the difficulty from 256 to 512. It been 3 hours and no beep yet...
Several pages back when the B1 started arriving some investigation determined the random beeps occurs when there is a HW error.

Just out of curiosity did you check ups directly by tracking by reference(bitmain order number)? Mine was in ups a good day befor I got the email or it showed shipped on the bitmain site.

Do you know if it's possible to conect the S3 to a server power supply? If yes then how? (I'm talking about an IBM Bladecenter 39Y7352).It's kinda sad that they removed server support (they should have done it like AntMiner S1's).
Thank you!
This is mine using a Dell 750w psu:

I have a two week-old S2 Antminer that has ceased hashing and both LEDs are now on. I have not opened the case to check the connections but if you recommend that I so so, I will. I am concerned that something more serious and fatal may have happened. My system has not overheated and is kept in a well air-conditioned cabinet. I would like to know if any other members have had a similar experience and if so, how the episode was resolved. Thank you, Justin
Got one of the last ones in today, arrived basically same condition. Would turn on but fans would just run at high speed and wouldn't boot lcd screen blank. Opened up two of the pce cables had come loose from psu probably never clicked all the way in to begin with. Still wouldn't boot so I put in a new spare sd card with the 4/10 image(which you need to immediately upgrade to 06/19) and it works fine. You are going to have to open up and explore. Plenty of info about almost every possible problem in these threads.

Well, I'm glad that one is over. Yes!! Let's hope for a couple of back to back quick ones now to get us back on track. We have had a great run of luck lately.

Change Static to DHCP but only after you enter your mining info or you will have to hunt for it depending how big your scope is.

The whole WAN verses LAN setup is confusing. I guess the S3 is a router under the hood, instead of just a simple Ethernet endpoint.
I don't have my S3s yet and the manual is not very complete. Can you specify that the WAN connection is a DHCP client? I think that that would be selected under "Protocol" popup, which in the manual they show as "Static address".
Being able to use DHCP to specify the IP address would be helpful because initially I'll be setting these up at home, then moving them to a data center. It would be nice to just be able to just move these from LAN to LAN and have them work. I have access to both DHCP servers so I can configure static IPs in both LANs based on the S3's Ethernet MAC address.
The reason why I'm interested in all this rather than just waiting is because It's possible that the S3 units will arrive while I'm out of town. If that happens, I'm going to ask my son to set these up. I want to make the process as simple as possible, and DHCP will help with that.
Here is what it looks like, Very easy Just do not edit or change LAN:

If we're just connecting 2 PCI-e cables to an S3 does it matter which PCI-e socket each goes in, i.e. front or back? I know that we need to plug a PCI-e cable in each side both left and right.
Correct. Front or back? I like mine to look consistent, but that is me.

silly question probably, but does it matter which 2 connectors you use out of the 4 available or is it better to connect up the 4 if you have them available? Will this option draw extra power?
Just use the front two or back two (1 on each side) no need to connect 4 unless you plan to OC and really need a 800w or higher psu to do that. To clarify for 2 units.

After 16 hours up with no OC I am getting an average of 441.96 on one and 441.2 on the other. .001% and .0009% HW errors.

Did anyone who receive their units get a email confirmation from BITMAIN with the tracking number?
Yes, but by the time I got the email UPS had been showing them in their system for a day using the track by reference method.

Hi,
For those people who have their Antminer S3's up and running how have you connected your power cables have you will attached cables to all four points or just one on each blade?
Thanks,
A
No OC just 2 one to each side.
