so quick numbers my evga 1300 is pulling about 665 watts at the plug to run 2 of these at standard clocks of 218.75 freq.

the fans are running 1800/1500 on the machine that gives me 447gh temps 37/39

the fans are running 1620/1320 on the machine that give me 440gh temps 39/39

room is 78f  or 25.5 c

pretty quiet. not silent

665watt/887gh = .749 watts a hash.  yet to use a plat psu and clock a little lower

I am running both machines at bitsolo.net they give me best share info. at btcguild.com no best share info.

bitsolo has me at number 7 with more then 600gh .  needs time to show correctly.

height = 167 mm

width = 134 mm

length = 340 mm

fans =  120 mm    the 140 mm quote from bitmaintech is a diagonal measurement of the fan grill's hole placement.

resellers beware do not advertise the fans as 140mm if you sell with a cc or paypal a nasty buyer would have a good chance of getting a refund over the fan size.

all in all right now the best gear available bar none.

First contact bitmaintech. Second check for any x or - in ASIC status.
Try removing the heatsink over ASICs and check for overuse/leak of thermal paste.
Clean it and reseat the heatsinks, don't forget to use thermal paste or thermal pad.
Hope you are running all at default, also post a screenshot of your status page.

Put up a screenshot of your status page and your config page.

Coming from the Black Arrow failboat, this is a walk in the park.  Cool I paid 7/6 so we'll see how long that takes.

Do you know if it's possible to conect the S3 to a server power supply?If yes then how? (I'm talking about an IBM Bladecenter 39Y7352).It's kinda sad that they removed server support (they should have done it like AntMiner S1's).

Thank you!

Bitmain,

My A3 batch 1 order has not yet shipped while others have received their orders today. Being that I ordered on 6-30 at 19:30:48 and paid the same 1.5 BTC as the others, I feel that some compensation is in order for those of us receiving their miners 5+ days later.

I understand that you are trying your best to ship orders out the door and I am grateful for all you have accomplished, but this S3 rollout is dangerously close to the failed "preorder" model you have been wise to ignore in the past.

The initial shipping window was up until the 20th for b1, I wouldn't expect any compensation at all unless they miss that target, but since it's Bitmain you can at least hope!

Bitmain initially quoted shipping times of between the 10th and 20th.  When they announced the change in specs, they adjusted that to say they hoped to start shipping batch 1 between the 14th and 17th.  They're still within the original timeline, even though they had to make some adjustments before sending any out the door at all.

I don't think you're going to get any further compensation, unless they don't ship until after the 20th, and then you can ask them for something.

Disclosure: I created my order 2014-06-30 14:01:44 and received them yesterday.  Bitmain didn't update my order status until 2014-07-16, even though the units had actually shipped on 2014-07-15 (China local, so really 2014-07-14 here).

Tried to check on UPS using 'tracking by reference' with the Bitmain order number, but nothing is found.  My B1 order was paid on: 2014-06-30 21:43.

Can you properly imagine how many orders were made in the opening minutes?

I can tell you I had a hell of a time getting to place an order due to website bombardment. My first order managed to make it at 2014-06-30 14:03:16.0 and i can tell you I was trying at the opening bell (which was 14:00 UTC)

Ordered six the same day as you and still nothing in UPS my choice. If I am lucky, I'll receive them in a week. 7-10 days difference in mining should be worth something. We are getting dangerously close to Monday (07/21) shipping time. Does UPS even ship on a Saturday in China?

all are on gHash.

Do I care that the bestshare isn't showing up?

Thoughts?

I'm using teamviwer from my phone so can't take a screenshot at the moment. Rebooted a couple of times and the hardware errors are around the 150 mark after half an hour.
Also that bloody beeping won't stop even after turning it off in the menus
