people dont even think once before giving -ve trust and people like Vod must be found and beaten up brutally !!!

Violence doesn't solve anything though, never has never will.

Any 'trust' system among strangers is beyond lame. But I doubt most see it that way since Linkedin is built on lying about people and it is fully accepted as a 'system that works'

That's a good point.
503  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trust feature on this forum? on: December 05, 2014, 11:56:16 PM
It clearly states next to your negative trust that you apparently lied about your ability to send pictures.

Because it was a misunderstanding, i said "sent pics" as a figure of speech. I sent links to pics, which is pretty much the same. I cleared that up later yet Vod still went and gave me a bad rating. Whatever. doesn't matter, I'm mainly here to read news about BFL refunds and a few more interesting things that pop up. I couldn't care less if a couple of idiots decide I'm untrustworthy based on nothing.

Mods don't moderate the trust system.

Search the meta forum to see some criticism about the truth system and about people complaining about the Vod's trust rates.

Cheers

Thanks, but Meta forum? Where?
505  Other / Beginners & Help / Trust feature on this forum? on: December 05, 2014, 08:41:39 PM
I just realised I have "minus 6 trust rating" on here yet I've done nothing wrong, never asked for a loan or scammed anyone, never been involved in business transactions etc etc.
I don't intend on asking for loans in the future or anything so I guess my trust rating on here shouldn't matter to me, but it still bothers me that I have a low one when I've done nothing wrong. Moderators should be able to allow/disallow people to rate based on real facts, real scams, etc, otherwise what's the point of a trust rating that's not accurate and cannot be trusted?

Are you still playing the Sherlock game? Smiley I'm a girl, a lot of guys on here know I am and can vouch for me, but there's no need, this forum's foundation should be based on trust methinks Smiley

I have had 3 serious relationships, last one lasted over 6 years so not shy or inexperienced but always met though friends.
Getting older now and not going out with friends as much anymore, so have to find another way to meet that special someone.

My questions is if i am walking down the shops and see a beautiful girl i would love to talk with, eyes meet and all the usual signs, then what to say?
I imagine this would differ between different cultures and races also.

How would you like to be approached?

If eyes meet and you get a positive sort of vibe from her, you need to TALK TO HER  or you will regret it later Smiley now, what to say....well I had all sorts of goofy guys come up to me pretending to be a tourist asking for directions, even pretending to speak English badly and all sorts, but that won't work in the long run if she likes you and you two go on a date, can't keep pretending forever. So you need to be honest. Just say excuse me and then ask her something, the sweetest approach I got this year was a guy asking me which flowers were the nicest cause he was buying some for his gran that afternoon, that would work on ANY girl. Also, if you're buying anything at the time like a present for your sister or whatever, ask her for advice, just a friendly and polite "excuse me" and then you got a conversation going my friend Smiley
That is all good, i don't normally have any trouble striking up a conversation with someone i want to talk with, what i should have said is what is the best time to drop in the line " can i have your phone number" into the conversation?

Well, if she gives you a good vibe and she's basically doing you a favour by recommending flowers or presents or whatever it is that you asked, and you honestly feel like she's giving you a vibe, then it's the easiest thing to just say things like "thanks so much, you're an absolute angel, my sister is gonna love this, you have great taste (compliments compliments), and then ask her if she would like to go for coffee sometime, I once literally had a guy shout "I NEED YOU IN MY LIFE" at me after 5 minutes of meeting me, haha, it works cause it's adorable and humble.

Fabiola, I have one;

She liked me first, I showed zero interest(was not interested at that time) then she started hitting on my friend, I suddenly begin to get interest in here. Now she is not interested in me, but keep contacting me from time to time(dont know why, as I have told here, im not a friendzone guy)

What can I do to spark the interest again. Or should I consider other options and forget this one? Mainly because there is already problems before any thing have startd.

BTW; We have slept together two times, naked, without having sex(she didnt want to)

Yep, I'm familiar with this sort of situation. It's pretty simple, if she liked you once, interest CAN be sparked once again, ALWAYS Smiley Now, the best way to find out is to make her jealous and see what happens. But instead of going out of your way making plans to make her jealous, just take it easy and go out!! Like, have fun, hook up with other girls, thus making her jealous in the process, if she comes back WIN, if she doesn't still WIN cause maybe you get to meet someone even better in the process. My advice is never stay at home crying over a girl, it never works.

I'm bored w/netflix Sad does anyone on here have Amazon prime? (UK) , is it any good?
( I want to watch the amazing race, I've heard it's available on there?)

Fiddle with your DNS settings or invest in a VPN like Unblock US and you can access the American Netflix. There's a lot more content on there and you can use your existing Netflix account.

What on earth does that mean? Fiddle with what?

So your into Surfing then, do you go to Croyde or Newquay?

Never been to croyde, Newquay is brill.

Only been to Newquay once, I did try the waves but wasn't my thing, very lively night scene!  Croyde is local to me... so gonna presume u have a black flag where I have a green one Wink

Why wasn't it your thing?
516  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do u guys need girly advice? : ) on: December 04, 2014, 01:51:11 AM
Croyde suffers from severe overcrowding and dodgy currents in my experience. I'm a Saunton man. Super spacious but not that fashionable.

Never heard of the place Smiley

I have both, Netflix is better for movies and tv shows imo. It looks like Prime does have The Amazing Race, but sporadic seasons, some prime, some not. That's something about prime, the library is not user friendly, either I'm stupid and can't figure it out (highly likely) or there simply isn't a way to list a certain show by consecutive season like on netflix. PITA. Quick search I saw season 1, 15, 17 free prime streaming but some other seasons were not free and others simply missing.

I only have Prime for the free shipping. I order tons of crap from Amazon and prime pretty much pays for itself in the first few shipments.

If you're only interested in movies and tv, stick with Netflix. (or hulu)

I'm obsessed with the amazing race and hate netflix for not having it. only 3 free seasons on Prime though? I know the latest one (season 25) is not free but I was under the impression I could watch at least the old ones for free Sad
