501  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Any exchange/website to withdraw fiat? on: March 05, 2018, 05:03:42 PM
unless you tell us what country you're in you won't get any worthwhile answers. one country might be heaving with options while the one next door would be useless.

regardless of where you're at, you're gonna have to get used to some sort of ID verification. even localbitcoins traders seem to want it more often than not these days. it comes with the territory when you're dealing with fiat.

I live in spain and ''I don't care if you need ID verification or not'' I said that right at the beginning of the thread, I do not care if I have to verify myself.

''Neil Tran - March 4, 2018
Sold some bitcoins but everyone that bought the bitcoins used stolen bank account information and all the funds were charged back, 1400$ worth of bitcoins gone because there are accounts with 100% positive feedbacks and over 100 people trusting, verified ID,SMS,Name, and tons of bitcoins traded, but still scam because the system sucks at verifying and making sure both parties are safe from scammers.''

I have seen a lot of stories like this one, which is what makes me scared of localbitcoins.
502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bulls push BTC back above $12K in the next few hours? on: March 05, 2018, 02:08:27 PM
Well, there haven't been any relevant news about bitcoin or cryptocurrencies lately so on that side nothing is driving the price. We did break the huge downtrend from 17th of december of 2017.

It has been trying for the past few days to break the 11.7k resistance level, if it does it could go up to 13k since there isn't much resistance between 11.7k and 13k.

I feel like a weekend pump, or some shit, may be in the making.

Mempool be going up, yo.

Not wormsign. More like me reaching down into my underpants, and shifting my shaft from one leg to another.

Maybe, we are not in an overbought or oversold situation right now so we might see the 11.7k break this weekend. If we do, 13k seems quite possible, no?
505  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you buying bitcoin now? on: March 02, 2018, 06:55:27 PM
I now think we are building a base for new highs. The key level is 11.7k and if it doesn't break soon there is still a very good chance that the bears will take over. The good thing is that we finally broke the downtrend from the last ATH so I honestly think it is going to break 11.7k but there is a chance it wont so you have to be prepared to sell.
506  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Any exchange/website to withdraw fiat? on: March 02, 2018, 06:53:27 PM
No matter on the speed and raised fees for withdrawing I use YoBit. That was the first exchanger where i registered and till the end of the last year everything gone well, the fee for withdrawing of fiat was 0%. Now it is not stable at all and jump from 3 to 9%, but I continue to use it, cause you will never find and exchanger today which will take less than 3%. So, my strategy is simple - to wait when the fee on the exchanger will be 3% and then withdraw fiat.

And how long does it usually take because cex.io and others took weeks and even months for me, some of them eventually didn't even process the withdrawal and gave me the money back after months. Do they ask for verification and something else when you withdraw like bitstamp?
507  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you buying bitcoin now? on: March 01, 2018, 11:17:07 PM
Currently I will not be buying, the Head and Shoulders pattern seems so obvious but Bitcoin still cannot break the support, I think it will go down more.
Are we talking about a pattern formation here with not even one image to bring people to what page you're looking at. I tried looking up the daily BTC/USD candlestick formation and the head n shoulders pattern you spoke of seems already spent and present a reverse head n shoulder is attempting to round up second to last lap, so what I see is rather a surge in no time

We just pierced through the downtrend since the ATH, I personally bought yesterday and I'm going to be holding until we touch 12k. You will have to re-evaluate when it gets there, if it does. I do think it will, we have good momentum and the bulls seem to be in control, we still have the strong support at 9k and a higher high might be forming on the daily charts.
508  Economy / Exchanges / Any exchange/website to withdraw fiat? on: March 01, 2018, 09:21:45 PM
I don't care if you need ID verification or not the problem is that right now most of them work extremely slow or just do not work. I tried Bitwala but they stopped their services, CEX.io works extremely slow and bitstamp seems to require a lot of information before allowing you to withdraw fiat so what other alternatives are there? I tried localbitcoins and it was ok but I'd rather not use it again.
509  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 01, 2018, 09:06:26 PM
I’m not a believer until $11,200

Yeah, it broke 11k but not very convincingly yet. However it also broke a downtrend from the ATH at 20k ~ so that's that. I think there is potential and momentum right now to touch 12k again today or tomorrow.
510  Economy / Speculation / Re: 9.2K remains the effective support, will BTC break below it in the short term? on: March 01, 2018, 09:03:48 PM
We just broke a daily downtrend from 17-12-2017 so it looks really good now. There is definitely a tightening pattern and we will probably see a break in the next few days. We might potentially see a lower high on the daily but could also be a higher high, we will have to wait.
511  Economy / Speculation / Re: 9.2K remains the effective support, will BTC break below it in the short term? on: February 27, 2018, 11:31:56 PM
The fact that price lacks the momentum to decline further after the bounce starting from the support at $9,200 indicates that price will remain in an oscillating move pattern within the range from $9,200 to $10,000 in the short term. Since price fails to dip below the support at $9,200 in the past 2 sessions, support at $9,200 is effective, meaning that price will mainly focus on a small-range bounce in the next session with weak strength.

You are right, but the technical analysis with bitcoin is not true most of the time. I lost 50 percent of my money with technical analysis 2-3 times. I think you should be a bit cautious when opening new orders with bitcoin.
I second that, and maybe me and the poster above are not good at TA but I don't think it is everything in this game. I would trust fundamental and sentiment research over technical analysis but there is still some merit to TA of course.

that may be, but being bad at TA is not the only reason. the thing is TA doesn't work for bitcoin most of the times specially when things are not happening normally. for example based on my experience the round number of $10k and the like area always a big support for bitcoin price and it held up real nicely but that was not enough to keep price up against all the manipulation dumps so price crashed down to $6000

and right now it is just sideways action. it won't go anywhere, neither up nor down. the range is between $11k and $9k.

TA does work, specially with support and resistances, the problem is that people try to predict whether bitcoin is going to break the support/resistance before it does. The correct way of playing is to wait for confirmation and then go in.

I definitely agree that bear momentum faded out. That doesn't necessarily mean we'll range. In fact, 10 hours later, we've already broken your range and tested the $10,400s. Bears were asleep at the wheel, and bottom shorters have already been rekt.

You are right, but the technical analysis with bitcoin is not true most of the time. I lost 50 percent of my money with technical analysis 2-3 times.

How do you know that TA was generally responsible? Your losses might be due to an unprofitable trading system and/or bad TA. 2-3 data points isn't enough evidence to draw conclusions.

As always the price of bitcoin will mostly be driven by news. If there's no negative news then the 9.2k support will hold and the price will move upwards as we've seen today. If there's a big negative news story then the support can fall in an instant.

I disagree. When the market is bullish, the market loves to rally on good news. When the market is bearish, good news hardly matters at all. The key is supply and demand, not news.

True, news hardly affect bitcoin anymore unless they are really huge. When it was rallying up to 20k there were a lot of bad news, the huge fees and a lot of platforms like steam dropping bitcoin as payment didn't do anything and the price kept climbing up. The same happened with the recent crash, a lot of good news of regulations and what not but again, didn't really matter.
513  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin will increase or decrease in the coming time? on: February 26, 2018, 10:42:55 PM
Well, one thing is for sure, the bubble hasn't popped yet. Sure it crashed to 6k but it's now over 10k. Crypto market cap is way lower than other markets. It didn't even reach 1 trillion and that would still be low. Other markets have up to 50t marketcaps and they aren't even fully international like bitcoin where literally anyone from anywhere can get involved. So personally and with all the available data I can be confident saying that it will reach at least 30 to 50k. Now I do think that a lot of alt coins, specially the ones that are, well, shitty, will just die. You can see that in this recent crash, altcoins on the first and second pages of coinmarketcap barely survived, all the others basically died. I also think they will comeback this year when the hype comes back and I also think we will see another crash eventually which will kill all the shitty alt coins for good, which is a good thing to be honest.

The market was obviously insane, you could basically buy any coin and profit, that's why the crash eventually happened, it was just a matter of time.
514  Economy / Speculation / Re: 9.2K remains the effective support, will BTC break below it in the short term? on: February 26, 2018, 10:36:41 PM
True and now it seems we are testing resistance at 10500$~ Momentum doesn't look too bad. We have had higher highs and higher lows on the 4 hour chart until 11.7k and then a pullback which in my opinion showed that the bulls are in control since the bears weren't able to break support at 9200. We could see a test of the 11.7k resistance again this week. I think it can reach 13k this week if we are able to break it.

This is a complex problem with no real solution right now. There is just no way to test it. That being said a lot of scientists and smart people are finding a lot of ''evidence'' against ''living in a simulation'' kind of ''theory''.

''Ringel and Kovrizhi showed that attempts to use quantum Monte Carlo to model systems exhibiting anomalies, such as the quantum Hall effect, will always become unworkable.
They discovered that the complexity of the simulation increased exponentially with the number of particles being simulated.''

This basically means that the computing power needed to simulate our whole universe would be so vast that is considered impossible. Then again this doesn't really disprove the idea totally since we can't know if that amount of computing power is actually possible outside of our ''simulation'' but it does prove that it would be impossible for us to build a simulation of another universe.

''Researchers have long sought to model quantum chromodynamics on supercomputers, but the problem is that these kinds of simulations take place at such a small scale and are so dazzlingly complicated that even the biggest supercomputers can only simulate an extremely small swath of our infinitely massive universe--something just a few femtometers across (a femtometer is one million nanometers, which is still really, really small).''
517  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why does the value of Bitcoin dramatically decrease? on: February 19, 2018, 01:45:24 PM
Actually it's quite simple, no market ever moves in a straight line. It crashed just as fast as it rose. Bitcoin price dramatically increased, first because of the upcoming segwit2x fork and then because of greed. It always happens, everywhere. Whenever there is a big move the newbies jump in thinking they will miss their chance and eventually overbuy the stock/coin.

A lot of people are trying to find different reasons for the crash, there really isn't one clear reason apart from normal correction and ''normal'' fluctuations. Bitcoin is extremely volatile yet people seem to forget this fact. We have some resistance now at around 11k, if we break it convincingly then we are surely in a bullish market again and we will probably see bitcoin reach 15k again soon enough. If we can't break 11k then it could crash to 8k again and if that doesn't hold then we could see a lower low. Time will tell.
518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 10k on: February 16, 2018, 01:59:58 PM
We surpassed 10k but it didn't last long enough now we just have to wait and see if the support at 9.7 and 9.5 hold, if they do, I expect to see an uptrend until 12k where we will face another resistance. In the daily charts bitcoin does look bullish so there is a good chance this week to reach 11k
