501  Economy / Securities / Re: The coming flash crash in AMC on: June 30, 2013, 09:12:51 PM
I'm sure (I hope) that Ken will explain who this guy is and is not since he is listed as an officer.

Well, dumb people never figure out anything themselves. That is why they usualy got scammed by people like Ken.

OK, so you take the word of a random person who has been rebuffed by the Police, and the Nevada Consumer
Affairs Division as gospel?  Just because somebody posts something to an ezine is good enough proof for you?

and you call me dumb?

Keith Garrett writes: "blah, blah, blah" and it is God's Truth.

Ken writes: "blah, blah, blah" and it is a scam.

Really?

a guy who is proven scammer and failed magician.

"proven"?  Did you even read these postings from New Zealand?

http://www.magicnewzealand.com/ezine-archive/2007-Jan-to-Dec-2007/499-May13-2007.txt

Let me summarize:

April 2007 - Some guy says "I have been RIPPED OFF. I paid U.S. $1225.00"

Then - Same guy says "I filed a complaint with the Reno PD, but they aren't able to help me much"

Then - The editor of the zine says "Suggest that anyone having similar problems with Mr.Darin Carolus
should lay a complaint with the Ethics Committee of both Societies."

Then - Dude says "Received this message from Darin Carlous..."

May 2007 - Department of Business and Industry, Nevada Consumer Affairs Division says "A careful
evaluation of your complaint has been made. The intake officer has determined that
the proper agency that may be able to assist you in resolving the issues in your complaint is:
                U.S. Secret Service"

Translation "We're not interested, talk to somebody else".

The Secret Service says: "The mission of the United States Secret Service is to safeguard the nation's
financial infrastructure and payment systems to preserve the integrity of the economy, and to protect
national leaders, visiting heads of state and government, designated sites and National Special Security Events.

Then nothing for 6 years?

I think you should stop throwing around words like "proven scammer".  Do you see any proof?

I'm sure (I hope) that Ken will explain who this guy is and is not since he is listed as an officer.

510  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 24, 2013, 10:02:28 PM

These usb sticks would need to be priced around .15 - .2 bitcoin each to make them competitive with other choices in the marketplace

You're comparing apples to next year's crop of apples.  These sticks can be mining now, the other choices available in the marketplace that are available now are...  what exactly?
511  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] labcoin ASIC project - v.1 @180nm - v.2 @65nm - European / Chinese Team on: June 24, 2013, 06:32:04 PM

Paypal is just outside our interest. We want them to sink, not finance them further.

To proof your legitimacy we need Paypal and Credit Cards payment full stop.

This is the best pre-emptive answer labcoin could have possibly provided.  Why would anybody demand paypal?  By this statement alone, I will give them the benefit of the doubt.

This is clearly not what we discussed. Terrahash contact us ASAP.

Cloudhashing "clearly" knows the toll free number and/or email to Terrahash,  Ask yourself why this post is er, um, posted.  Sheesh.
513  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: June 20, 2013, 04:52:11 AM
Just ordered additional 20,000 chips from Avalon. Orders that would not be covered by the first batch, would certainly be covered by these chips.

BitSyncom is going to get the chips produced in bulk from the foundry. We believe that all the orders will be shipped by Avalon in close proximity to each other. So, hopefully, the chips ordered today will be shipped at most a week or two after the ships we ordered on May 10 and 16. In that case, our batch 2 orders will start shipping at most 2 weeks after the batch 1.

You know that there are close to a million chips already ordered, don't you?  Here is the address where Avalon is holding the BTC

https://blockchain.info/address/1FGAftzSTztFSB8LMwsrdCKTyqGY6zr3sU

Do the math yourself on number of chips in 76,000 BTC.

The order placed today will ship at most a week or two after the ships we ordered on May 10 and 16?  That's some seriously fast production.
514  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Chips (SebastianJu) Batch 6: 1373 ASICs gone 51373 sold on: June 19, 2013, 07:16:19 PM
Hello Batch 1 buyers,

I was going to send my 60 chips to Burnin, but I want to try something different.  Down the street from me is an assembler that is going to use BkkCoins' Klondike design using 64 chips.  Can anyone sell me 4 chips from Batch 1 to allow me to have a complete 64 chip board?

I would be in your debt,
Oaxaca
515  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: June 18, 2013, 06:43:58 PM
what's the deal with this website?  was it supposed to be the official ASICMiner website and supposed to receive regular updates? - http://www.asicminer.co/about.html

I have asicminer.org / bitfountain.org if anyone is interested in putting something quality there and doing regular updates.

I have http://asicminerauction.x10.mx/ which features WP auctions if anybody wants it.  While it's a free site which I will give away for free, don't think it doesn't have value...
516  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: June 18, 2013, 05:19:20 PM
I'm more worried about not being in their first batch of shipments. It's unclear how many orders they can cover today with their existing chip order, and it's also unclear if they ordered 10k or 20k chips, but there is no way they can even come close to covering all the orders that were already placed today with their existing chip orders.

That pushes a lot of today's pre-orders back 9-10 weeks for the next batch of Avalon chips to be delivered, and another 1-2 weeks for assembly.

I doubt they have enough Avalon chips ordered to cover all the orders in the 400s, but I hope they prove me wrong!

What existing chip order?
517  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: June 18, 2013, 04:21:57 PM

nope, no proof yet.

Guess my Group Buy ain't gonna happen.

Not that it was going to happen anyway...
518  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: June 18, 2013, 04:19:28 PM
damit only #4xx and #5xx orders ^^^rofl ^^ i ... was like 1-2 seconds after they opened ^^^
i think they started high. like in the 450's. any body know why?

Same reason that your bank doesn't start your checking account with check number 0001.  Makes people think you're established.

Still no chip order pic?

519  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: June 18, 2013, 01:29:13 AM

How many people have received the sample chips? The fact that TerraHash has shown the sample chips is more than enough to prove that they have ordered the chips, and are one of the first to order. Those who want to wait for evidence are more than welcome to do so. They are the ones who are gonna lose out.

How many people have received sample chips?      Dunno.
Proof that they ordered?          Perhaps.
One of the first?         That's a reach.  How do you come to that conclusion?
